Post by Haraka Omaras 2nd February 2018, 10:34 pm

    Spoiler:
Haraka woke up early in the morning, showered, brushed his teeth, before getting dressed. A white dress vest, white slacks, white dress shoes, black socks, and a dark grey under shirt. The next step to getting ready for the day was brushing his hair, tying it up before going into the kitchen. For breakfast he ad black tea, crisp toast with over easy egg on top and a small bowl of fruit. After the breakfast the demons nerves had unwound a bit. This was the day he had decided to pick a job listing at the guild. Sleeves pulled up, he washed the used dishes then put them away. After drying off his hands, the man put the guild emblem pin on his vest. Now was the time to leave for the guild. That was exactly what the man did, his shoes quietly moving along as he left his home, locked up, and started on his way. The lifeless expression on the demons face switched to a calm smile as soon as he left the house, careful not to needlessly scare any strangers. Getting inside of the guild was easy enough, he was already a member after all.

    Keep calm and breathe easy.
This was the key to doing well and picking a job that he would be okay with. It would also keep him from looking like a blue glow ball. At least the light was barely noticeable in a well lit setting as long as the mans mood remained cool. Still, his nerves started to bundle as he reached the lob board. He wasn't sure why this scared him any more than the other non magic related work he had done through most of his life. Still, he could feel the blue light increase in intensity. "...This is why I can never gain stealth." he spoke quietly to himself, a little bothered by how he was feeling, yet unable to control the emotions that slowly tangled inside of his stomach. Still, at least he had made it to the board. The bad side of this was that the lights intensity was making it hard to see what was written. There was no backing out now, just pick something. A hand reached out, the lit pale aquamarine talons reaching the paper first before carefully removing it from the lob listing board. The light around Haraka dimmed back down to something barely noticeable.

That was a lot easier than his mind had imagined it. This is what he was thinking until reading the job description. This job listing was one rank above his own, there was no way he could do this on his own. But at the same time, it was a noble job, was it not? For certain, he could tell by reading it that this sort of fellow needed to be given a firm speaking to, if not a thrashing. He didn't like violence, but it would be to stop a trouble maker. It wasn't right for someone to want to get in the way of others happiness just because it didn't involve them. This was not how any adult was to act in society, clearly his mind hadn't aged along with the flesh at the same rate. Saying that out loud would be rude though and he was not going to let this sort of youth bother him, nor get him to crash away his politeness.

From there he started asking around for help, eventually getting a response, though from someone of a much higher rank. It was unexpected to get help from such an authority, but it was certainly expected. That had happened a few days ago, and yesterday they had received the jobs letter that held more information inside. This was how the crustacean type deep sea demon ended up at the rose garden with someone who he barely knew. At least his uniform was proper enough to wear at a wedding, all he had to do was switch his hair tie to something a little more elegant. What should he say? He was going to a wedding with someone he barely knew to stop an ex from crashing it. They couldn't even chat on directions, could they? Someone of such a high rank probably has a good idea where things are and Haraka would be ashamed of himself if he wasn't able to find his way anywhere at his age at this point. Well, he should thank them, right? But he had already thanked the person when the help was offered. What should he say? Maybe something basic. "Uh... how are you feeling today?"

Post by Ruvel 9th February 2018, 5:10 pm

Ruvel had been up since before dawn as was the usual routine for the young summoner that had taken residence at the back of the company headquarters, it was still classed as strange by many within the company especially considering his rank and position within the company; some had brought it up with the CEO and where told just to leave him be. Of course there where reasons but these were kept hidden as it could be dangerous for the youth, that and those who did know wanted to help him keep those reasons in the past helping him get stronger moving forward. Needless to say the youths presence and mannerisms while still strange was left unchallenged even to his casual clothing choice around the guild, as though in a position of power his role was more dealing with clients at their places of business but many believed there was more to do with it than this but they didn't dare push the subject.

On this morning he went around his normal routine that had been slightly altered thanks to Cirven wanting to train his speed, endurance and perception to his surroundings. This was not exactly what he wanted to be doing when he woke up but he understood why it was needed given how he was physically he had to make up for the weaknesses in other methods. It had been four in the morning when he first woke going to the small external room that now been built for him to wash and dress in, he had no idea as to why but he had been feeling more tired since his trip to Era but had kept it hidden from everyone knowing they would likely worry and this was the last thing he wanted. He started washing though he caught a glance of himself in the mirror he reflection to him seemed to ripple making him rub his eyes. "I am exhausted." he spoke to himself before splashing his face once more before drying off and changing to the usual clothing he trained in, this was a white cotton mandarin suit. On the left chest embroidered into it with ice blue silk thread was the company's symbol sitting proudly, on his left arm in the same coloured thread sat his name and position within the company silently he moved to the forested jungle area night training was done in with Cirven and Zinny looking for his instructions.

As his adopted brother knew the youth had certain limitations he used other ways to get his instructions across, the most common was a lacrima with spoken instructions. Getting to the starting point he located the lacrima and turned it on listening carefully to the instructions, that morning he was to collect green coloured lacrima, snuff out the red lacrima, avoid the light lacrima and watch out for rippling blue lacrima as they held debuff traps. He was told that the amount of each lacrima had been increased but his time to find them had been lowered by thirty minutes, he had found out the hard way that he hadn't collected them all and got back to the start by the time ran out five additional minutes was added to that days training. "This isn't good." he spoke to himself starting off on the course he had no where completed the run by the time ran out but that was due to whatever was going on with him and sighed "Today is going to be a pain... I don't want to worry him." he spoke quietly moving back to where he rested getting the bird bath ready for the family of swallows he looked after placing out some food before heading inside the company and heading for the kitchen to make his own food.

As every day he got a glass of water, a small fruit salad and a small green salad cleaning and putting away as he went before heading out of the kitchen to see one of the newer members trying to decide a job to go on, he almost seemed frightened at the concept to his knowledge he didn't remember being that way but recently his memory was being fussy and put it down to an encroaching blood moon. When it had seem he had chosen he observed other for a few moments as he tried to gain help to do the task, he had guessed the job may have a little out of his current level. Taking a deep breath he walked over "You are Mr. Omaras if I am correct, my name is Ruvel. I will go on this task with you, please make the arrangements and let me know when it is time to leave." with that he walked out to finish his normal routine not really minding the details of the job. Time had gone passed without word and he believed that the other had changed his mind that was until he was handed an invitation to a wedding and was surprised that this was the task.

By then he guessed the other would have asked questions and found out the little about him that was knowledge in the guild. He was dressed in a white suit with blue and silver trimmings on the cuffs and collar. "Good morning Mr. Omaras." he said standing next to the other he looked far more formal than he usually did, hearing his words he blinked a moment "You seem at ill ease around me Mr. Omaras." he commented showing he had noticed just how the other had spoken to him "Is this the case?" he asked as he started walking to the area of the wedding enjoying the sweet smelling flowers wanting the other to speak his mind before he would answer the question, in honesty he was far from doing well but had to seem fine.

Post by Haraka Omaras 9th February 2018, 7:06 pm

At ill ease with him? That wasn't something he expected to be asked. Maybe he should explain a bit? Only enough to ease them, no more. There was a difference in easing and just being a chattering. Try to calm, try to calm. "No, I've just been hiding from life for a long time. That's made me nervous, sorry." Yes, that was good, not too much, but not too little. He hadn't expected to be called sir though. How old was Ruvel? They looked like a respectable young man, but Haraka looked like a young man too. Did... he give his age away at some point? Was there something about his personality that screamed old? Or maybe they were someone who was just very respectable? Should he ask how old they were? But then would he ask for the demons age? As much as curiosity nibbled away, it would be a bit rude and forward to ask, that just wouldn't do. It was better to be fully honest than to say half of the point, unless details had to be hidden. He didn't need to not mention he had respect for ruvel, but what proof did he have of that? Nothing yet. It was one thing to say it, another to show it. But... Wait, how... "How did you know I was nervous?" It came out before he could retract it or at least clean it up. A surprise in the shape of words. "Sorry." It was definitely not what he normally did, speak so bluntly. But that was when he realized something. Somehow his original question had been completely forgotten about.

They were almost too close to the wedding for him to ask again, so he had to do it now while there was a chance at getting an answer. "How are you feeling today?" Was it strange to be insistent on checking on someone? Maybe for most, but not for Haraka. He would be ashamed of himself if it had continued to be forgotten by him. What kind of doctor would he make that way? "Would you like a fruit to refresh with?" It wasn't a spell that took long to cast, even if it took awhile to use it again. The worst that could happen was they say no to the fruit and don't answer his question again. He was mostly sure that he phrased the fruit well, a good way to put it. A fruit that could heal was refreshing after all, and it wasn't blatantly obvious as a healing spell. How many people would suspect a summoned fruit was for healing? Then again, it probably made more sense than something like an explosive fruit. In any case, the person was one he should respect and did, so if it was brushed off again, there was no way for the demon to push more. At least the weather was nice and everyone near by seemed to be in bright spirits. Part of him hoped that the ex didn't pop up, but he knew they would. Part of him definitely knew it was likely to happen, people who had a hard time letting go sometimes need a push and a shove. Hopefully nothing too violent would have to happen.

Post by Ruvel 23rd February 2018, 4:01 pm

Ruvel looked to the other with his dual coloured eyes as the other spoke, his words caused gave concern to the young summoner. For now however he remained silent showing nothing of his worries on what had been said but it was something he would have to bring up with the others in case it caused issues. "Hiding isn't always good." his voice was calm as he spoke to the junior member of the guild trying to give him some advice to make him feel more at peace, he had no idea how old the person was but he his best guess was like everyone in the guild he was older than him. He found that trying to give advice to elder members at times was difficult but he always wanted to help so done his best to advise the best he could regardless. When he was asked how he knew the other was nervous it made him blink as he thought it was rather obvious even to the blind.

"I knew due to the "Uh" you put at the beginning of what you said that told me you here at ill ease, there is no reason to worry about anything Mr. Omaras this is a basic task." he tried to be supportive and help him understand that there's nothing to be worried about. Ruvel knew that if it came to it he would be able to handle the troublemakers alone, he wouldn't do so however as this was the others task and he was just there really to make sure things didn't get out of hand if the other wasn't up for the task. "There is no reason to be sorry, I would rather you speak your mind. Nothing is worse or more dangerous to us than someone keeping it all in as they may explode unexpectedly" he said walking forward, he knew he had a cheek to talk but he at least had his summons he spoke to about things even if he didn't want to. Hearing the other asking how he was made him want to roll his eyes because this was something people often done with him when they had no idea what to say but resisted.

"I am well at current, yourself?" he asked politely making sure that his true feelings and such where properly guarded, he was caught off guard to hear the other offer him a fruit and blinked wondering if they had been on the same boat for the last week as he had kept to the same routine when it came to his strange habits. "No thank you, I have a routine I stick to on such things but again thank you for your concern and consideration." He felt severely at ill ease at how insistent the other had been on making sure he was okay and started to question if Cirven had requested that he made sure that he was tended to while away from the company grounds. "We will be there soon, remember to be curtious when we meet the client and that any trouble makers should be dealt with quietly so we do not disturb the festivities." he reminded the other after all this was a special occasion for the parents of the young couple.

Wedding Crashers Empty Re: Wedding Crashers

Post by Haraka Omaras 23rd February 2018, 6:01 pm

Haraka... well, if he was going to be honest, couldn't disagree with Ruvel. Hiding from the world wasn't always good. But... it was hard to tell over time the difference between good and bad. "It was terrible for me, but what was waiting outside of hiding was even worse... But, those things at least... I am sure have all died of old age, or some other way by now." The last part, he didn't realize how wrong he was. It was a bit presumptions for him to assume that those dangers had faded with time. The demon didn't know those things hadn't vanished, only merely hidden themselves in the cracks of darkness and bide their time in very unsavory ways. But, how is one to know when they were hiding away from the world in fear for so long? Would it cost him to not know? Only time could tell, but at the least... it would probably due him more good to focus on the now. No matter how many generations go by, each wedding looked so magical and full of life. Love was so magical, as fleeting as the days and years used to feel. Honestly... since joining the guild, everything felt a lot slower. Maybe that was the effect of being part of the world again, not just watching from a safe distance. It was certainly a lot easier to watch things go by than to interact in things and with people in ways that offered challenges, thinking, and difficulties.

It was easier to work hard at repetition and hide behind a tray of tea than it was to walk dressed for a wedding and wondering how he was going to quietly resolve everything. Was he letting something out with the reactive words? Maybe he should keep a journal. That might be something healthy, or something he would use as fuel for a fire later. Well, the later option didn't sound healthy, but if words could be an outlet then... he would have to at least try, just not now. Right now he had to focus on the job. He was glad Ruvel was well, that was good. Maybe he just worried too much. "I'm still nervous, it would be better to try to find the boyfriend to catch him before he could even approach the wedding... but honestly I have no idea how to approach that. I've never experienced jealousy or anger in my entire life... even when I should be. I don't know how to get in the mind of someone like that... and my tracking skills are only useful in nature based areas..." He didn't want the wedding to be interrupted or ruined. What if his incompetence messed everything up? Then it would be his fault, that poor couple. This was their special day, he couldn't afford to mess up. What should he do? What could he do? Something, at the least possibly look around. No, he couldn't fall apart now. They would tell the couple they have arrived, then start looking for the ex.

Or maybe they should start looking for the ex. Breathe, breathe, calm down and think. There had to be a better plan then the current one in his head, right? ...right? BRAIN?! But... sadly, all the things already said were correct. If he ran around without a clue it would be far less helpful then staying near the wedding and waiting for him. There had to be something though. He was glad Ruvel had a routine, it helped avoid diets going astray. Some people were bad at keeping track of when they ate and what they ate. Deal with the trouble quietly when and if- okay he needed to be honest with himself, it wasn't really an if. Some people just took rejection too badly for it to be an if. When the trouble came, it had to be dealt with as quickly and quietly as possible. He needed to stop being so nervous, no matter how daunting things felt. "Yes, understood. I will try my very best for them." Sure, they would get paid for doing the job, but that wasn't why he was doing this. The idea of such a special event in someones life being ruined by someone bothered him. What was the point in coming out of hiding if he avoided a job that he believed in just because it sounded hard? It felt like not trying would have just been another way of avoiding confrontation. Ah, they had finally arrived. There was a person guests were going to and showing their invitation to before going into the wedding.

This was the next step, this was why they had a wedding invitation. He showed the man their wedding invitation after exchanging greetings. Just like that they were in. Every decoration was beautiful, but maybe he was bias for thinking so. To him, each item was another expression of the couples love for one another. It was so... magical. Now, to find the bride or groom and talk to them before things begin. They should be in the back... but oh, here was the the brides maid of honor. Would it be okay top talk to her or... no, it would probably be better to talk to the bride or the groom. Knowing they were there should help whatever worries the two had ease a bit. After that, he needed to think of a way to track the ex to make sure he didn't come near the wedding at all. But first... he found his way to the back of the wedding area. The bride was getting ready in one area, closed off from all but the brides maid and certain women. The other area the groom was with his best man in a room. It was pretty easy to tell, as people where drawn to the rooms the bride and groom were in. There was joy and excitement in the air. The demon walked over to one room, quietly knocking on its door. "Hello?" A male voice called out of the room. "It's Haraka Omaras, the one from The West Fiore Trading Company.

I just wanted you to know that Ruvel and myself have arrived to make sure your special day remains just that, a special day."
He thought the door would open, but instead the man spoke more from behind the door.
"That's wonderful! I'm glad to know someone so gentle is paired with someone so capable. Honestly though... We were in a bit of a panic thinking about the trouble coming and ruining everything...Before we were sure you two were going to come, we hired a third person. I'm sorry! My grandmother said you're dependable, but we're so desperate to keep him away..." So that was why the door was closed? He felt bad about having hired someone else and didn't want to say it to his face. Why would that be bad? He didn't say that they were off the job, just that there would be one more person. "That's alright, I know mail can take feel like it's taking forever when it feels like something special is at steak. There's nothing to feel bad about." Of course, he didn't realize how weird it was that the groom didn't say which guild the third person was from or who it was. All he noticed was the person seemed so nervous. "Thank you so much, I feel a lot better..."

"I'm sure you and your beloved will have a long and happy life together, we're just making sure your special day remains between the two of you, your friends, and family." Now it felt like everything was settled and they could work on the main part of the job, actually finding the ex boyfriend.

Post by Masha 25th February 2018, 2:42 pm

Masha stood in the corner of the room dressed in her best finery. Out of respect of love, she had put on a slightly less slutty outfit. The red dress fell to the floor, covering the most important bits. Though she couldn't resist the deep neckline or the slit up the side. She had the body. It needed to be shown off. Her hair added to the attention grab. It was pinned up in a complicated do but there was a section hanging down her front. It was meant to draw the eye to the strip of skin that led from her navel to her neck. Attention was constantly thrown in her direction from men and a few of the females. Masha licked her lips. This wasn't the typical job she would take. As much as she wanted to give into those baser desires, the sanctity of this event kept her in check. Love was the one thing she yearned for, searched for. She wanted the One above all else. There wasn't much hope for that however. Masha was too volatile for most people. They couldn't handle her. Nor could she abide someone touching her for very long. The scientists had ruined her.

Lost in her dark thoughts, Masha missed the entrance of the newcomers. Her 'partners' on this job as it were. The groom or the bride wanted to be extra sure their special day wasn't ruined. She scowled, watching one of them cross the room. They were from a goody two shoes guild: West Fiore Trading Company. With them around, Masha wouldn't be allowed to kill the bastard ex. She might have been able to take on a single goody mage or at least hide her deeds from him but she wasn't sure about two of them. With their magic also being a mystery, it would be even harder to hide any misdeeds from them. She pushed off the wall with a heavy sigh. It was time to meet these mages.

Hope flared in her chest as she slowly crossed the floor. Her walk was made for sin, her body encouraged lust. Even her magic was meant to work upon the sexual appetites of those around her. Even in this setting, low whistles followed her confident stride. Maybe, just maybe, these two mages would be immune to her charms. She would have a chance, for once, to build a relationship. Her step faltered. Unless they were asexual. Then there was no hope for such a thing. A hand brushed against her butt as she stumbled. Masha shrieked, reacting to the unwanted touch.

There was no thought in the action. She was merely slapping someone. Her body blurred from the speed of her reaction. Unfortunately, Masha forgot about her enhanced strength. The man flew from the force of her hand, hitting the ground a short distance away. Masha covered her mouth with her hands. He wasn't important to the wedding was he? There was no way she was ruining this important day for the couple. The man groaned, his hand going to his cheek. "Ya bish! Ya bak me fuckin' jaw!" He snarled through clenched teeth. Masha bared her teeth at him. "You should watch where you put your hands then." She repressed the urge to spit on his nice jacket. Men like this one deserved to be put down. As it was, Masha would have to make do with putting him in his place.

To prevent herself from doing further damage to the man -- i.e. breaking each of his fingers, maybe castrating him for good measure -- Masha turned back to the mages that would be her partners on this job. She was afraid she hadn't made a very good impression of herself. If these two mages could resist her manufactured charms then Masha would be quite disappointed in herself. She marched right up to the one in robes. He--or she now that she got a closer look at the mage's features--appeared to be the one in charge with his fancy clothing. It was odd since she couldn't feel too much magic coming off of him/her. Masha smiled widely at him (that was how she decided to think of the mage), offering a small bow as a greeting. She didn't feel like touching anyone else at the moment. "You two must be my backup on this mission. Masha Dymonrel. You'll excuse me if I don't shake your hand. As you can see, I have a slight issue with people touching me." She peered around the room trying to spot where the other one had gone. "Do you have any idea where the ex might be coming from? It'll be good to head him off before he ever arrives in the building."

There were several areas where the ex could enter the building. Masha had scouted the place out before reporting to the couple. That was when they had sprung their unpleasant surprise about extra help. She managed to keep the scowl off her face as she thought about it. Back to the ex. He could enter through one of the two back doors. One led off the left side of the building into a wide courtyard with clear ground for several meters. Most likely not to be the one he chose. The other was at the back of the building into an alleyway. A good entrance area if he wanted to be stealthy and ruin the ceremony with a big bang. Though if he wanted a bang with his entrance, the ex could also come through any of the stain glass windows. They were more than large enough for him to jump through. The final entrance was the front door. Masha severely doubted that would be his choice. Many people were watching that entrance for the ex. She reluctantly relied this information to the robed mage and the other one if he--she?-- was there.

Why were both of these mages so gender fluid? It was beyond frustrating. Well maybe not. Masha could appreciate a manly woman or a feminine male. Hell she could appreciate anyone provided they weren't affected by her body/magic. That special someone was just out of her reach. Tears jumped unbidden into Masha's eyes. She turned her head, letting her hair fall over her face. She didn't want these goody mages to see her moment of weakness. They might try to comfort her and it was something she couldn't deal with.

Post by Ruvel 2nd March 2018, 8:30 pm

Ruvel listened to everything that the other spoke to him, about how his life had been horrible in hiding but at the same time the things waiting if he showed himself were far worse. He could understand such fear that the elder male felt, but at the same time he doubted it could be as bad as those like he himself and Cirven had been forced to endure on an hour by hour basis "I understand." he said simply not knowing what else to say given as much as he would love to hide he didn't have such luxury given his tasks within the guild, that and he knew Cirven nor his summons would permit him to do such a thing; they kept telling him that hiding solved nothing, that he needed to get stronger and that they would be there to protect him from those who would hunt and harm him. He was a little cynical on this but trusted them to a point as it was better than being on his own.

"Never believe something is gone until you've seen the body or witnessed it's destruction and even then be wary of those who look to revive such things." he warned the other ask he continued walking a sigh escaping his lips as it was almost like he was speaking from personal experience but wasn't giving all the details to the other and why should he? They didn't know each other well enough and those he did know more he still kept his guard up around. "This would indeed be easier if we could handle the issue before he and his idiot friends turned up but no such luck." he said quietly with as sigh as they had no idea to whom they where exactly looking out for at the current moment. He moved his hand to his head the want to have the other placed to sleep and deal with this task was ever growing but he would keep his smile and play the part given to him. "Keep your wits around you Mr. Omaras, you are a member of the west fiore trading company and will not tarnish our reputation. Do I make myself clear on this matter?" he said calmly his tone showing he wasn't playing around on the matter.

"I have never experienced jealousy and my anger has only came once to the point I blacked out." he said he still had no idea what happened at the facility after he had watched Demi being killed to protect him and hadn't truly forgiven her for doing something so stupid in his opinion as he could have handled any punishment they gave him. He blamed himself for her death however though he never spoke the words she knew this and had even tried to lift the burden but it was always to no avail. "Eventually you will need to feel these or something bad will happen, people are a duality as is nature. You aren't balanced if you have one without the other" he knew that he himself wasn't balanced but it didn't mean that he wanted anyone else to be like him and though he knew nothing of what lay within him he had seen what had happened to people who had only had only one side and it was never good. "Your nature is out of balance and it will likely affect your magic Mr. Omaras, please bare that in mind." he had no idea that the others magic was already was almost fighting him for control but even if he did there was nothing he could do to help the other if he didn't want to help himself so wouldn't have wasted his time.

"I am glad you want to do your very best for them but if it gets to much for you wait outside for a few moments before coming back in, just if you do make as little noise or commotion as possible." he informed the other, he had noticed the others glow and knew that could be more than a small issue given how distracting it would be if caught just at the edge of someone's sight so hoped he wouldn't have to do it at all "We'll need to see about finding away to cloak your glowing Mr. Omaras in certain jobs it could put people in danger." he said to the other, this wasn't to shame him or make him feel less of himself but it was a fact that sometimes such a gift would place teammates or even clients in danger and in those instances and it wasn't good. For the moment this wasn't an issue as they weren't needing to sneak around in a tunnel, they where here to make sure the happiness or two people could be finalised even if it could potentially be fleeting he found that he wished them the best in their married lives.

His dual coloured eyes moved over the hall, he took in each detail as if he was trying to memorise it and had to admit it was regal in its simplistic elegance. "Very beautiful." he said to himself as he walked further into the hall with Haraka to what seemed to be the father of the bride. His hand going to his chest as he leaned forward just a little as a sign of respect to the lord "My name is Ruvel Mizune, I am one of the vice presidents of the West Fiore Trading Company. Myself and my college Mr. Omaras are here due to the job you posted." he said holding out his invitation for the other to inspect before turning his left wrist to reveal his marking so he would know what he said was true. He then moved into his coat top holding out an envelope "This is a wedding gift for the bride and groom a fortnights stay within the most luxurious five star hotel and spa in Tolgalen with travel arrangements on a personal charter boat." he said knowing that this was a common tradition at such occasions he had come equipped as such.

His enhanced hearing had honed in with what was going on with Haraka 'A third person?' he thought to himself smiling as the father excused himself to deal with the caterers, he wanted everything to be perfect for his little girls special day and Ruvel couldn't fault him for it. He had noticed too that the third persons guild hadn't been mentioned, that caused red flags to go up as something like that would only happen if there was a dark guild involved. For something like that to happen they must have been beyond desperate, but then it could have been that with so much excitement that it slipped the grooms mind and so didn't think to much on it but at the same time he didn't completely dismiss it either. "Maera" he whispered from behind his hair a small delicate bell could be heard "Big sister, is the brides ex-boyfriend here already?" he asked her "Please take all the time you need." knowing the more time she had the more likely it would be to pin point the one they where here to stop, he smiled hearing the bell flying off knowing she was off to do her task.

Ruvel started walking around quietly allowing his summon a bit more room to investigate given her limited area. He smiled and gave a polite nod here and there but for the most part he didn't interact with anyone after all this was a job not a business call, though it did give the company good publicity especially if it went without issues. He stopped hearing a commotion and headed towards it instantly tilting his head seeing one of the grooms men on the ground nursing his face his eyes going to the woman. "My, my...  I've been here only a few moments and issues have arisen." he commented rubbing his forehead as he sighed. Hearing why she had acted the way she did he leaned in to the man's ear and whispered something very quietly so only he could hear, whatever it was it caused the male to turn as white as a ghost and stumble back in a panic a smile on Ruvel's face the entire time. "Please apologise to the young lady and then go about your tasks to the groom" he said politely the man stood bowing but unable to speak dashed off making Ruvel roll his eyes "I swear." he said sighing once more.

"Are you alright miss, I assure you not all men are like him and if I were in your shoes he would have gotten more than a swollen cheek and a bruised ego." he said honestly moving around her so he could speak to her face to face and not to the back of her head. He smiled returning the bow with one of his own but only went as low as he had been taught was acceptable for manners sake, he was never to bow lower or as he once had and he had no intention of doing so that was for sure. "I am Ruvel Mizune and my colleague is Haraka Omaras. In honesty we didn't expect a third person, this was sprung on us when we arrived." he said honestly scratching his cheek a little for a second "But the more the merrier and we have more chance of stopping this before issues arise." he said honestly to the other "It is a pleasure to meet and work with you Miss Dymonrel, I do hope we won't have another outburst however." he said knowing that it would cause more issues than the ex-boyfriend if it happened again, and he didn't want to deal with another issue from someone whom was meant to be an ally at least for the moment.

"I understand and don't blame you for not wishing to be touched after someone touching you in an inappropriate manner." he said after she apologised for not shaking his hand even though that was fine with him, he didn't like being touched in any way, shape, or form as his glamour could hide what he truly looked like but couldn't hide the scars and such it hid. "I dislike people touching me also." he wouldn't go further than that into it with her as she was an acquaintance and nothing more, but then he had never really went into it with anyone that he truly did know. "I don't at the moment but will gaining information soon I ask for a little patience." he said with a charming tone and smile to match. "We where thinking the same thing but without the information we don't even know whom we're looking for." he said honestly as they hadn't been given an image or description of yet. Seeing the other his eyes filled with sorrow as he slowly moved his hand forward gently moving her head to face him, though they seemed fine she would feel the scars on his hand as the other moved to fix her hair.

When this was done he took our a handkerchief and delicately removed her tears with it before placing it back into his pocket. "Don't hide your sorrow, it's not a weakness Miss Dymonrel." he said quietly stepping back for the first time taking in how she looked entirely for a long moment "Besides such beauty should never cry, it should be cherished and nurtured." he said moving back in unsure why he did what he just did given they both stated they hated the touch of others, but at the same time he just didn't like seeing others suffering he had seen to much in the facility and that had been enough for quite a few life times as far as he was concerned.

Post by Haraka Omaras 4th March 2018, 12:30 am

Haraka walked away from the room the groom had locked himself in, thinking on the words little before returning to Ruvel. The young looking man listened to him, watching things. "Sometimes you need to believe something is gone, otherwise its a struggle to not run and hide." The demon responded to Ruvel, a smile still on his expression. What he was talking of? It was unlikely he would even say in private, let alone a place so crowded. The darker something was, the harder it was to face. How can one stand against a darkness that sold it's morals and sense of reasoning? When one can look at the shadow of their past an yet still see no redeeming features. There had been no bad circumstance, nor overly spoiling ones, nor a tragic happening. In the eyes of those two, it had only been the journey to seek power, for to them it was the finest treasure. The more the two found, the more they had wanted to be the sparkling jewels of their own eyes. Everything important that could not be bought by any amount of coin was sold away, scrapping whatever lights may have been in their hearts at the beginning of that path. Even their humanity had been for sale. Of course this wasn't something he planned to tell anyone, possibly not ever. In telling someone, there was always the looming risk that they would know too much, or ask certain things. The last thing he wanted was for others to associate him with those monsters.

Their blood was in his veins, but not their hearts. In any case. all of this was far from his mind at this time. It was a past as buried in time as the ruins of that country that had once been his homeland. It was buried by time and the waters. What he hadn't expected was for the third person to be a person who had been hired to be someone who can't even properly handle herself. "Hitting a normal person that hard risks serious injury. What would you have done if you had broken one of his bones? This is to be a wedding here, not a brawl." Was he the only one that didn't agree with how that had been handled? Of course, he didn't know what may have been effecting the minds of either of them. All The demon knew of was proper manners. He also knew that the womans outfit looked unfit for battle, but it wasn't something that would be polite to comment on. Since Ruvel had introduced him already, all the mantis shrimp man had to do for introductions was give a little wave. He had no idea that there was something about the woman that lured most to react. This was because he was demisexual, gaining physical attraction only after having the attraction to a persons personality. So far? He wasn't exactly won over by her, not in the slightest. In his eyes, she was rude, violent, and cocky. Was this what youths were like these days? No, everyone was an individual.

Never step in the old man kids these days slippery slope Haraka, that's not what someone interacting with the flow of events would think. This was how he internally scolded himself and reminded that he was no longer an observer of things. Maybe this was just a bad first impression, not everyone handled being around people well. Still, it didn't change that she was a complete stranger to him. With the third person here, it didn't really feel like he could reply to anything else Ruvel had said to him. Well, not to the things that were spoken before she came over anyway. Explaining why he can't feel anger would probably go into genetics. He could say that in private, maybe? But not in a group, let alone a crowded setting like this. Well, no, there was one thing. "The light would be a bit tricky to figure out how to cover since it's not magic based. Its something I inherited from my animal, the deep sea mantis shrimp. Those huge things have luminescence in their skin. Part of it is to communicate between those of their kind, the other part is to distinguish individuals. Maybe my bodies light could be hidden with thick enough cloth. I know fisherman insane enough to hunt them that don't get killed find a way to not make their boat glow like a floating light beacon." Ah yes, the massive sized winged beasts that attack anything and everything. Maybe he just had a bias that...everyone else also carried, but he was pretty positive they were violent little hell beasts.

Why they had light for communication or identification was as much of a mystery to him as how they reproduced was. The fishing boats that went after them either had to be ice splitters, or small enough to weave around ice. Then they had to wait for the shrimp to arise from the depths, or find a way to get down there. Haraka wasn't really one that knew anything about fishing though, so he only knew of the sort of ship they would need to get there. How anyone caught those beasts was beyond his comprehension. At least why was something he could comprehend, it was said that the meat was comparable to the finest of beefs in quality, or to a perfectly aged wine. Now... What could he do to try to help in finding the group? Maybe one of his skills could be useful. Think, what are your skills. He closed his eyes a bit. Skills. Calling on the elements that love him? That... did that count as a skill when he was only doing half of the work? Was he even able to use his own element when it wasn't used as a base of connection that combined itself with other things? Thinking about what that may suggest about him wasn't something he felt there was time for. Lets see, what was his experience with listening to people as a bartender when it came to broken hearts? ...The ones most feared had their own lackies for one, but wouldn't one of them have told the people they hired about that? Then again, they didn't even have a name or face.

So, what did he hear from people who spoke about their scary boyfriends 'friends'? They would be coming around to peek at the front entrance. They wouldn't go in, but they would be carrying something to hide their face in the smarter cases, in other cases they would just be twitchy and spying from a nearby area. "...Looking at how spooked the couple is over the ex boyfriend, they very likely have some 'friends' of sorts that they can use for spying. If that's the case, there should be a suspiciously nervous looking person on a street near the entrance." He... didn't actually think that would be useful. Being a bartender just felt like part of it was mixing drinks, part serving them, and part being a weird therapist that involved people that shouldn't be drinking so much. Ruvels comment on beauty seemed weird. Such a beauty shouldn't be seen upset? Well, that was a matter of opinion. Physical appearance comes and goes... Okay, it normally comes and goes, he's a freak exception to that rule. It is something more temporary than life, brief. Then again, even when he was young, it was always the heart wasn't it? Not even gender mattered in his eyes, though maybe it was harder to care about gender when you could switch between them? Well, being weird about one thing wasn't exactly something new for the demon. His life was full of events that lead him to realize that he would never be normal. Even in this current age, somethings it felt like constant reminders.

The current reminder was the person that they would work with on a mission. "Though I suppose my idea has a huge flaw, how would we get information from a lackey without making a fuss if there is one nearby watching the front?" Yes... that, that was something he would have trouble with. Then again, Haraka wasn't exactly good at scaring people on purpose, or getting them to talk outside of a bar serving drinks. Maybe his ides was very very stupid, maybe none of this information was helpful and he wasn't good at any of this and he would just end up slowing everyone down. Why did Omaras ever think that he was up for the challenge of trying to be part of the flow of history again? Well, he couldn't back out now. He was already here, already gave a wave to the third person, was already with Ruvel. One way or another, they were going to succeed. No matter how terrifying it all was, there was no backing up now. At the least, his face didn't express any of the worries buried in him.

Post by Masha 5th March 2018, 5:16 pm

Masha wasn't quite sure what to make of this mage. Either mage really. One of them seemed to have bought into the image she projected to the world. The one in charge, Ruvel, had called him Haraka. She had a feeling he thought there wasn't much more to her than what was on the surface. Ruvel, on the other hand, pierced through the veil with his duel colored eyes. She shivered listening to him speak. She was trying to be good because it was a wedding but damn if his voice didn't caress her skin.

Masha smiled slowly at the other mage. She turned her body entirely toward him, ignoring Haraka. "Its hard to see there are other kinds of men when many act like he did. It's good to know there are at least a few with manners. Masha flipped her hair, unable to keep herself from flirting. Stupid scientists. "You are as unexpected to me as I was to you. I feel they are quite desperate to make sure everything goes off without a hitch. It may also be the parents sticking their noses where they don't belong. Who knows? Her shoulders lifted in a delicate shrug. Masha was a little surprised to hear Ruvel didn't like to be touched. Didn't the goody goody mages hug everyone? Weren't they all rainbows, friendship and sunshine? These two were throwing off everything she had learned over the past few years.

Ruvel's fingers upon her chin when she cried, shocked Masha to her very core. He had sounded adamant that he did not like being touched. Now here he was turning her face to him. She could also feel the scars. That shocked her. Why would he have such intense scars? The shock rippled through her body. For the briefest moment, white scars wrapped about her entire body. There was scarce an inch that didn't hold some kind of scar. It was evident magic had been used to flatten some of the scars, leaving those wider than the others. It was as if her body was responding to his touch on a primal level. Masha couldn't see the scars, didn't know about them. She was lost in Ruvel's eyes. His perusal of her body sent heat shooting through her core. What was this mystery of a mage? Why did he have such an effect on her? It was probably the wedding. Yeah, the wedding.

"I only wish the world thought as you did, Mr. Mizune... Ruvel if you'll allow me to call you that. Masha whispered, rubbing her hands on her dress. "In my experience, the world takes advantage of sorrow or uses it to hurt you." She wasn't sure what beauty he was referring to. Something made her think it wasn't physical beauty but rather inner beauty. A light blush spread across her cheeks. "I've never had anyone to cherish or nurture my beauty, Ruvel but thank you for thinking so..." Masha leaned down to air kiss Ruvel's cheek. She didn't want to offend him and she wanted to show her thanks in a more intimate way. Unfortunately the moment was ruined when someone roughly patted her butt. The motion forced her into Ruvel, accidentally pressing her lips against his cheek and the corner of his mouth. She quickly stepped away.

"I'm sorry Ruvel. That wasn't on purpose, I swear. I don't know why people are being so handsy today..." Masha looked around for the culprit. Then she pursed her lips as something came to her. Haraka might be wrong in his thinking. The ex could already gotten lackeys inside. Just a few to disrupt the ceremony until he got there. Since Masha had caused a commotion earlier, they might try to cause another one using her. It was probably clear from how easily she broke the groomsman's jaw that she was a mage of some kind. "I'm sorry but I think you're wrong, blue boy...uh I mean Haraka." Masha winced. It might be hard to play nice with that one. He didn't exactly help it since he had berated her for defending herself. Yeah so she had gone a little overboard. He hadn't been the one to have his ass grabbed. He couldn't judge her.

"Anyways...I think the ex may have already gotten a few people into the wedding or was already friends with a few that were invited. Usually people don't touch me so much at weddings and that's the only reason I can think of." Masha took a deep breath. It might be a little far fetched but she loved weddings. Most men or women backed off if you didn't look like you wanted company. Provided they weren't drunk anyways. "They'll probably be trying to disrupt the ceremony long enough to allow him to make it. If we look for people that are being purposefully disruptive, we might find them. I could also be dangled as bait. They seem to like going after me, if they really are here that is." She hoped she was right. There would be no way to tell until they actually had one in their grasp. "If Haraka is right and they're outside waiting, we can always go grab one for information. Its unlikely they'll move from their spot outside until the ex arrives... if they are outside that is."

They would have to be careful in grabbing one of the ex's lackeys. Masha did not want to disrupt the wedding any more than necessary. Nodding to her partners, she began to stride across the room. She wasn't going to ask their permission before acting as bait. This was where she excelled. What the scientists had twisted her body for. Seduction. Performance. Social warfare. She would be damned if she didn't put those skills to use. Her walk took on that of a haughty noble. Her nose tilted towards the ceiling, giving her the appearance she was looking down on everyone. It limited her view of her surroundings but that was the cost of appearing to be above it all or at least believing such. She got a few glances, some scowls, one overt perusal of her chest and probably a few secretive ones too. Nothing to suggest her theory was correct. Masha almost deflated. Was she so far off the mark? She made it to the other side of the room before relaxing. Time to see if her partners had found anything. Her eyes swept the crowd, searching them out. Hope burned in her heart that they had seen or found something she hadn't. She wanted to impress the handsome one, Ruvel. She shook her head. No, she didn't want to be wrong in front of goody goodies. Ugh what was wrong with her?

Ruvel looked to his colleague as he spoke and sighed he couldn't help but think how the other sounded rather pathetic as he spoke, he knew there where horrible things out there. He knew some of those horrible things still hunted himself and his elder adopted brother Cirven but they hadn't hidden from them, in fact they tried to have a somewhat normal life and dealt with the threats as they came; he was told that was the best way to handle things and he agreed but still refused to go near the place he had been raised out of sheer fear of the place. "My demons will never be gone Mr. Omaras as much as I would love them to be, but I don't have the luxury of hiding and watching as the world turns within my own little bubble. The world doesn't work this way and besides it doesn't solve the problem it just continues the cycle and that is no life at all." he said in a matter of fact kind of way "Believing that you are the only one who has things in your past that have hurt, hunted or are otherwise dark is just childish..." he closed his eyes for a moment centring himself once more "We all have darkness following us, just some is darker than others and some are further away but if we hide away from that kind of thing then the darkness has won as we lose the precious gift of life." he continued opening his eyes "Live for the now and worry about your darkness if it arises, you are no longer alone and we will support you." he hated giving pep talks but he knew every now and then it was needed.

Ruvel lent in so he could whisper into the other male's ear and not cause issue "Mr Omaras, you realise she did indeed break the groomsman's jaw, as a doctor I would have suspected you would have seen it if I an untrained person could have picked it up." he whispered calmly, he had originally played it down as there was so many people around and he really didn't want to get Masha into trouble for doing what any woman would but had little choice given that Haraka hadn't noticed the issue. He had lent back with a sigh shaking his head as the scolding seemingly came to an end "Mr. Omaras, please don't scold the young lady; where it is true this is a wedding and not a brawl you did not witness what happened to cause her to react in such a way so please do not jump to assumptions or conclusions unless you know all the facts." he said scolding the other quietly in return "She was indeed justified in what she had done to him, if I, myself had been in her shoes I would have broken the offending hand wedding or not." he said his tone showing he hadn't been impressed with how the female of the trio had been treated.

Hearing how the other seemingly continued the conversation from earlier all of a sudden he shook his head "No, hiding one's glow is quite simple with the right magic item, spell or training and one of these things will have to be done with or for you as you would in fact not only be a huge disadvantage if we wished to hide but a liability to other members on jobs." it was as simple as that as far as the youth was concerned and it was also the end of that conversation, if the other wanted to argue he'd have to take it up with one of the others but he knew they would agree with his outlook on the matter, he was a danger to anyone he went on a job with. "I just need to wait a little longer and I can tell if the threat is already here or not, so I ask both of you please have a little more patience." he said in a soft tone, this job was meant to be easy but so far all it had been was a headache to the young summoner but still he wore a polite smile all the same. 'I think I've been around Rasparov to much...' he thought to himself suspecting the other acted quite close to how he was at current.

Ruvel nodded to what Masha had said to him a smile on his face "Indeed, many see a beautiful face and judge on that alone nothing more, which is shallow minded ignorance as there is still a person below that beauty." he said in response to her before sighing "As a male I am ashamed of how my gender act in general but I assure you we aren't all like that." he affirmed his tone showing that he was indeed ashamed of how she had been treated. "Manners? I was raised a... certain strict way; it was better to just submit than fight the rules." he said not really wanting to go into it, he hadn't even noticed he was gripping at his sleeves tightly as he thought back to the facility once was forced to call home. "You'd have though that they would have informed both parties in advance, I swear some people aren't born with etiquette, manners or a brain for that matter." he said sighing once more "Oh well, what is done is done and can't be changed at least we know of each others presence." most people would believe it was better late than never but in such a situation not knowing of the others presence could have made this far more messy that it should have been.

"It was the grooms grandmother in this case but again you'd think one of them would have had the common sense to inform both parties there would have been others; on this occasion I'm putting it down to the wedding but it is rather annoying." he didn't mean that she was annoying just that this situation was. Ruvel knew that his glamour hid his abuse and bright glow he knew that touch revealed the former but still he had seen enough pain in his life and couldn't bare to see more if he could help ease it. 'What the hell is going on with me?' he thought to himself bringing his hand back a softened expression seen on his face and within his eyes. He had taken note of her own subtle scars something deep within him told him those hadn't been of her choosing thus his eyes closed 'What is it with people trying to mess with things they have no right to... people aren't their damn dolls!' this both upset and angered him but there was nothing that he or any like him could do to those who tormented them, they smiled pretending everything was fine hiding the tears, fear and sorrow; he guessed this is why he didn't understand emotions but could fake them convincingly.

Hearing Masha speak once more he opened his eyes "Yes, it's fine to call me Ruvel." he said to her smiling once more, the last thing he wanted was questions to be asked given that he was unable to lie on things, he hated that aspect of himself but it seemed to be something he was born with as he couldn't lie even when he had been ordered to within the facility causing him to be hurt even worse due to something he couldn't help. "I would prefer it if I can be honest with you." his voice was soft almost tender towards the other, he had noted it but had no idea as to why it confused it. "Oh I completely agree with your statement but it's a rarity if you can do anything to stop it." he said his eyes showing and voice wouldn't show his pain but for someone whom had to wear a mask similar to his own would be able to see and hear the subtle tones of pain that was otherwise hidden from the cruel and unfeeling world that had caused them to be how they were. "That is indeed a dark and very sad statement as roses and butterflies tend to wilt and die before their time if not loved and cherished properly Miss Dymonrel." he said softly making direct eye contact with her, this was something that he always struggled with, even with Cirven he had only ever managed it once and that was the day he had received his mark.

Ruvel seen Masha lean in and it made him very uneasy at first as he didn't like his personal space invaded for any reason but he had remained calm, as he realised she wasn't going to harm him nor did he have any intention of touching him. He had no idea what had happened at first as he felt the others delicate form being pushed against his own fragile one as a male went passed, his arms going around Masha as the two fell backwards making sure she didn't get harmed but winced "A-are you alright Miss Dymonrel?" he asked seemingly more worried about her than the fact he had been hurt a slight blush had appeared on his cheeks as the realisation sunk in that she had kissed the corner of his cheek. "You aren't at fault, please there's no reason to apologise. I do think we should get up off the ground however." he said with a nervous chuckle. Hearing it was another person touching her inappropriately didn't sit well with the youth but right now his hands where tied 'I swear idiots like that need to be shot.' he thought sighing starting to get up helping Masha up with a little bit of effort, this wasn't because she was heavy but the fact he was unnaturally weaker than what he should be.

"As I said I just need a few more moments and I can get information." he could still hear Maera's delicate bell ringing as she listened and gathered information, he could ask the twins but at the same time unless it was an immediate threat to him they wouldn't tell him anything. He knew the reason behind this and respected their boundaries so never pushed them on such things. He couldn't fault her logic so nodded watching people to see if he could see anything abnormal, things had caught his attention but not so much when it came to the guests but more the waiting staff; both made him suspicious but he wouldn't mention anything until he heard back from the summon he called his big sister as he believed it was better than jumping to assumptions and accusing potentially innocent people thus ruining their reputations and his own.

Hearing the small jingle of the bell get closer and feeling Maera taking her normal spot under his hair his eyes looked back "Any news big sister?" he asked the small knowledge fairy whom nodded "There are six within, but there are more outside. The ones inside won't do anything until the ceremony is about to start but they have something really bad planned." she said her voice showing fear "Did you hear what?" he asked the other "Yes, they're going to teleport the groom out, make the wedding dress of the bride vanish and poison people within the food... they also may or may not burn down the church." she said making Ruvel sigh nodding "Thank you for the help big sister, please rest." she said feeling the fairy fade as he walked over to Masha hoping that Haraka would follow giving them the information that he had just been given "So, what shall we do?" he said after letting them know but didn't say how he gained the information.

Post by Haraka Omaras 13th March 2018, 8:58 am

It was almost strange to Haraka, the amount of offense someone could take to how he felt about something. "I know everyone has a darkness of sorts, but not everyone can handle it the same way. Sometimes the only way one can doesn't seem the most practical, but it doesn't necessarily make it childish, nor that it means they think they are the only one with problems. I don't know anything about yours, but with mine... for reasons, it actually makes me uncomfortable when someone says things like they are here for me, or there are people I can rely on."'Too many died saying those same things.' His voice had been as softened as ever, nothing in it's tone or his body posture showed a sign of offense taken. People had different opinions, it's just a fact of life. The comment about a broken bone had caught the demon off guard. This was what happened when you didn't listen enough to the sounds and watched the action rather than the result. For the first time since they were here, the man looked at the one that had been struck in the first place. 'It really is broken..' "Sorry, even as a medical student, I should have thought to actually... look." This time, he felt disappointed in himself, it leaked in his voice to an extent and how he held his body. He didn't understand being weird about touch, but the young looking man did recognize that looking should have been something obvious for him to do. It was definitely a sign to himself that he was focusing too much on trying to not mess up things.

'How do I keep frayed nerves from impairing basic knowledge? I suppose just try harder.' His mind hadn't exactly echoed the perfect answer, but he was still going to run with it. Over stressing was likely the exact reason he hadn't thought to look, why he had focused more on polite than the damage, stressing more wouldn't solve anything besides finding a way to possibly make him miss more important details. As for the touching? He still didn't understand it, how could he? 'What could help you understand how they both express about touch? Maybe all I can do is just take their word for it.' "I will trust your words on that subject." It didn't seem like Ruvel trusted his word on the glow, but he didn't blame them. It wasn't important at the moment to talk about, though it likely would be at a later point. When asked to be patient, Omaras tried to do so. His body stilled, though breaths were as erratic as ever. Being patient didn't require that he relax. Right, wrong, it didn't matter what he was, so long as they found out the true situation. What was unexpected was for Masha to stride off. 'She seems so confident, maybe a reflection of knowledge?' He tensed up a bit more, over thinking as possibilities bounced around in their mind, expression on the face looking the same as ever. The body relaxed a bit, as the sound of something different came.

Eyes left from looking Mashas direction to looking back at Ruvels. What was that sound? A bell? Though, looking just made him feel a little more confused. It was like a conversation where one of the persons didn't exist, yet the voice continued. While these emotions didn't show on his face, it did in his posture. What was said though... 'They're planning that? So many people too.' The female side in Haraka tried to push, that part of his heart feeling an insult to the sacredness that was love was being plotted out. It was him, so he could not deny these feelings, but shifting gender wouldn't be appropriate right now! 'Think something less- this isn't the time to argue with myself. Over stressing perfections already likely caused me to miss multiple important details.' He followed ruvel, physical features softening a bit, though shoulders and frame still held sturdy. As a woman, her chest wasn't was big enough for the gender to be clear, but not much bigger than that. The stomach area was a slight bit more thin, but hips remained the same good size. What could they do? "It seemed like Masha already had a good first step idea, lure them out. We need them out of the church."  What after that though? "How far do you think we could get the people inside and outside from the church? Because all of them need a good thrashing that doesn't involve interrupting the wedding."

Post by Masha 14th March 2018, 12:21 pm

Masha tried to hide her shock at the tenderness in Ruvel's voice. Was that for her? She tried to clamp down on the happy glow that wanted to emerge. No surely not. That was the tone he must use for everyone. "Are you not honest with everyone?" She teased her eyelashes fluttering. Oh gods what was wrong with her? She couldn't be flirting with a goody goody could she? She wanted to cup his cheek when she saw the pain in his eyes with his next statement. That pain resonated with something deep inside her. Something she had buried long ago and never wanted to unearth again. As she struggled with her memories, Masha looked over Ruvel's shoulder to hide the darkness, the pain in her gaze. No one needed to see that and she didn't want to add to the burden that was already clearly upon Ruvel's shoulders. Wait what? Why did she care if some rainbow mage was hurt by her past? She was Masha, living only for herself. She didn't need any man. Hearing his poetic statement and having Ruvel look directly into her eyes shattered any thoughts of living for herself. She wanted to melt into this man. To have him hold and cherish her, have his careful care make her bloom into a gorgeous flower. It was a weird feeling since Masha hated anyone touching her. She could put up with it, even initiate contact but she didn't like it. Her cheeks became a rosy pink color from looking into his eyes. They were so dreamy.

Masha was grateful for the slit in her dress when they fell. It prevented her dress from ripping. However, it was a little bit unsettling when she realized she was pressed against Ruvel's chest...and she liked it. He had put his arms around her, protecting her when they fell. Something that rarely happened for Masha. She wanted to stay pressed against him for as long as possible. Her only worry was her giant chest was crushing him. Hearing him speak, Masha slowly pushed herself up to look into his face. A dawning came across her face and the dark mage went brilliantly red. "I-I'm o-okay. Thank y-you for catching me." She said shifting to sit up. That made things worse. Now he was pressed intimately against her and his hands were sheering through the thin material of her dress. She was lucky her dress hadn't thrown her breasts out on top of all this. "R-regardless, I want to apologize. I like to stand on my own two feet and you keep coming to my rescue today. I swear I'm not usually this incompetent." She accepted his hand, getting unsteadily to her feet.

Masha couldn't stop the blush that came over her face when Ruvel approached her. Was it hot in here? And how was Ruvel getting more handsome every time she saw him? She couldn't like like him. He was a legal mage! Or close enough to one anyway. She knew a relationship wasn't even in the cards for them. Mmmm but those eyes. It would be worth it to have a forbidden romance just to see the tenderness in his eyes again. To feel cherished, not for her appearance, but for who she was on the inside. Ruvel spoke and his voice was like the sweetest music washing over her skin. She could bath in that voice for days. "I noticed the waitstaff looking me over but none of the guests. I'm not sure if I was correct in my assumption. Did you two see anything?" Ugh why was her voice so sickly sweet? He probably hated the sound of it now. Ruvel informed them of the current situation and Masha wanted to leap for joy. She had been right. Was Ruvel impressed? Haraka spoke up and Masha frowned her attention drawn to the other mage. Was there something different about the mage? His appearance was slightly more feminine now. Part of his magic?

"Well they seem to be focused on me. I'm the most volatile person in here from their point of view. They'll either want to keep me in here or follow me outside to try and use me as a good distraction. I can act as the bait. You two just need to make sure all of them get out or are taken care of before following me." She almost looked for Ruvel's approval. That ticked her off. Masha did not need the approval of any man. This had been her job til they showed up. Masha spun on her heel, her red hair fanning out over her shoulder. It had come partially undone in her fall with Ruvel. She didn't care if it whipped her fellow mages in the face. Masha marched straight out the doors. "Come on stupid friend of the ex." Masha muttered as she slowed to a gentle walk. She was walking toward a wide ally that would work well as an ambush site. For her or the thugs. "I want this job to be over..." So she could dance with Ruvel. Masha felt a light blush come across her cheeks. No she wanted the job over so she could enjoy the wedding. Ruvel had nothing to do with it.

Masha checked behind her as she entered the alley. There were a few people following her but was this all of them? She turned back to the front only to be roughly grabbed. Masha gasped, trying not to break the man's neck. Drawing the MC down upon her at a wedding was a bad idea. It would give the ex exactly what he wanted. The man tried to push her against the wall but found that Masha was stronger than him. Masha flashed him her sweetest smile. "If you would so kindly remove your hands from my chest, it would be greatly appreciated!" Fuck did she sound peppy. It had a disgusting feeling to it. The man sneered at her, his grip tightening. Masha wanted to put her fist through his stomach. "And why would I do that? You have such a nice body, don't you want to share? Besides there are ten of us and only one of you. I think I can do anything I want with you." He licked his lips. Masha's smile sharpened. Maybe she would rip off this one's dick. Just to prove how little this group could really do against her. Instead she grabbed his wrists and applied enough force to break them. The man howled falling to the ground, his hands cradled against his chest. Masha turned her deadly smile on the men gathered around. They were watching her warily. "Who wants to go next?" She asked deceptively calm and cool.

Post by Ruvel 24th March 2018, 5:54 pm

Ruvel sighed as Haraka tried to rationalise and explain his point of view on the subject in honesty he just wanted him to shut up but remained quiet letting his rant continue, that was until his demonic summon gave him some information. "True, not everyone takes things the same but I wouldn't expect one as old as you to be a coward and hide like a child from the monsters in their closet or under the bed." he said with a low cold voice his dual coloured eyes looking at the other, though eye contact wasn't made it was clear he was far from impressed "This is nothing to do with rationality, you hide they win it is that simple." he said bluntly with a shrug that was until his last sentence where his eyes seemingly flashed with anger, everything else had remained the same in his demenor not wanting to cause the issue on such happy occasion. Moving forward he leaned up to the others ear "If such things make you uncomfortable then perhaps being in a guild isn't for you; we are a family, we support and rely on each other so get use to it." he was just plainly ticked off and couldn't play nice with people who didn't trust the guild, sure he had issues on trust but he would support the guild and had a few he relied on.

Eventually he backed away "If you couldn't catch that, then perhaps you need more training or look into another profession than doctor. I have absolutely no medical training yet I could tell that..." he said with sigh, he wasn't normally so agitated but given what he had been told not only by Maera but also his guild mates view on things and the goings on with the third member of the mismatched group he was about ready to ruin the wedding himself just so he could go home sooner. He still wore a smile knowing that no matter how he personally felt that he had the reputation of the company to think of. 'This isn't me but the amount of incompetency he has makes me question if he was a medical student or a child playing doctor.' he thought to himself before looking to Haraka once more "I apologise, large groups are never good especially when some within it are homicidal" he said calmly following slightly.

He listened to Masha chuckling a little at her question "I am unable to be anything but honest." he said his eyes showing that he was being completely honest with her, seeing her turn away from him seemed to hurt him and it was seen in his facial expression, after biting his lip for a quick moment he took his wrist spinning around almost as if it was some sort of dance his hand moving quickly to clasp her; his other hand cupping her cheek "Please don't hide from me, such things would make me wilt and fade away as I watched you wilt without the correct light and love." his voice tender, his eyes ever locked on hers. "What burdens you isn't yours alone, understand?" he said knowing she would understand due to feeling the scars on his hand. "You're petal colour is very sweet, I want to see it more." he said soft almost serene as he spoke to her.

He smiled standing "You're welcome again." he said finding it strange that he had someone so close, the last person was Demi but that was different somehow to now, he just had no idea as to how or why. "I never believed you to be incompetent or I would have said as much." he said honestly to her letting go of her hand when he was sure she was steady once more pulling his hand from her face. "It seems your intuition was correct, I'm sure you know how to get them outside." he chuckled knowing they would only see her for a few things and none of them was the same as how she had seen him. Ruvel stepped back as Masha turned but before she could leave he fixed her hair "I would love to play with your hair one day." he said to her as she walked off. After Masha seeing people following her from the hall. 'Seems we've found some of the culprits.' he thought to himself allowing them to follow before following them knowing Masha could handle herself or she wouldn't be on this job.

As he walked out he seen the last of the group falling to the ground, tilting his head 'Amuul, are any of these men the one we are looking for?' he asked to the void prince through their bond 'Yes, the one wearing the red waistcoat.' he sent back making Ruvel nod watching as the local police came upon the scene moving forward he spoke to the one in charge telling what he had seen also telling him the information he had gained from his summon. With that the group was cuffed and marched off, Ruvel smiled "I've heard of a haunted fairground if you want to come with me." he offered the other thinking the two could do something more personal.
