Aeon had woken up relatively early in the morning so that she could get a spot of training in before she took on any requests. The sun was still rising, many of the local stores were still in the process of opening and a majority of the Lamia Scale guild members were still sleeping. The training she had planned wasn't her usual vigorous training that took a couple of hours of intense combat and requiping but instead was just a light cardio work out around the town of Hargeon. She started off by doing a single jog around the outskirts of the town, shifting into a full sprint for her second lap. She proceeded to do several stretches and various other cardio exercises before finally deciding to head back to the guild hall. When she arrived, she noticed that new jobs had been posted on the request board and decided to inspect them before taking a shower. She wanted to make sure she got a good one before someone else got it before her. It was then that she noticed a job that an elderly man had posted, basically requesting for someone to kill him. She couldn't help but arch an eyebrow as she continued to read it and when she had finished reading it, it was then that she realized and understood the request. Aeon took the piece of paper off of the job board and walked off, immediately heading for the showers. After cleaning herself and of course dressing herself, Aeon left the guild hall and made her way to the train station where she caught the next available train to Oshibana.

By the time Aeon had arrived in Oshibana, it was already late in the evening, roughly 11pm at night and everything including the reception desks of the inn had been closed for the day. It wasn't much of a bother however as Aeon was used to camping out on a regular basis, in fact it was kind of strange for her to be sleeping in the Lamia Scale guild dorms. She looked at the piece of paper that had the job information on it and had another thorough read as she exited the train onto the platform. There was a small, detailed map on the back of the piece of paper where the man wanted to meet and proceeded to follow the directions. Soon after, Aeon found herself in an open field just outside of town and in the center of this open field knelt an elderly man wielding a kite shield in one hand and a double-edged sword in the other. "Ior Valiir!?" Aeon called as she approached, the man looking up at her and rising to his feet as she drew closer. "Have you taken on my request to kill me?" The woman looked the elderly man over, it was evident that he was in the late stages of his life and in response to him, she simply gave him a serious nod. "Do you not ask why?" He asked, curiously as he twirled his blade within his hand for amusement. Aeon had thought about this while on the train in great depth and folded her arms as she began to spoke. "Although I have never met you in person, I have heard your name. You trained my father thirty years ago for three months." The elderly man looked at the young woman with a great sorrow in his eyes. "I am sorry young miss, but I am afraid I do not remember. Age has unfortunately taken its toll upon me." Aeon simply shook her head and closed her eyes lightly. "I wouldn't expect you to. You are a great and noble warrior and have trained many people in your time. The reason I took on this request was many. Your name is one that many look up to. In fact I don't know many warriors who don't know your name. You trained my father and then he trained me, therefore I have respect for you, my father's sensei. I also chose to do this request because I know you are terminally ill and you deserve to die a noble death."

The elderly man smiled, water forming within his eyes with memories of his past as he pushed forward with blade held forward, for a man in his eighties, he was definitely fast and caught Aeon off guard. At the last minute, Aeon ducked backwards, bending and missing the slash of the blade by less than an inch. She tumbled backwards, hand springing until there was a further distance between them. "Requip!" She called, a glittering light formed over her body and within her right hand. As soon as the light disappeared, Aeon was now standing there in a new outfit and a mechanical weapon in her right hand.

    Guardian Armor & Blazefire Saber:

The knight was a little surprised at her sudden transformation but quickly put two and two together. "Ah I see, I remember your father now. He was the only requip mage I had ever trained. A good man. A noble man. Then I will be glad to die by the hands of his noble daughter." He pushed off again with a smile on his face, glad that he had not only met someone worthy, but someone who on some level had a connection with. He swung down with his blade, ready to strike the woman but Aeon was already too fast, bringing her own blade upward to strike against his, using her right leg with a wide side kick when he was left open, though unfortunately it was a failure. The elderly man brought up his kite shield to block it, though it did send him backwards which gave them some distance in between. Aeon could hav easily ended this fight already, her blade being capable of turning into a gun would have been a simple defeat but not a noble one, this man deserved to die by bladed combat, none other.

The two of the struck at each other repeatedly, matching sword against sword and physical hits against shield but neither one seemed to get a hit in. The man couldn't help but continue his smile, please that someone so young was on his level and Aeon couldn't help but smile, something she didn't do often and it was for the simple fact that she was fighting someone that she had respect for. Her father would want to end his life in a noble way and considering her couldn't be here for that, Aeon would have to fulfill his place. "Allow me to end this with honor." Aeon stated, pushing forward. The man nodded, also pushing forward so that they would meet in the center of the battlefield, blades pulled back and prepared to strike, slashing at each other at the last minute very much like samurai. Only both of them fell to their knees. Both warriors had been slashed with their blades, but when Aeon rose to her feet, the noble warrior fell to the ground. Aeon's wound wasn't very deep and nothing really to be overly concerned about, she had worse. She walked over to the warrior who had now rolled onto his back and when she knelt beside him, it was evident that his wound was more fatal. "T-thank you." The warrior whispered as he took Aeon's hand in his placing it on his chest to which Aeon closed her eyes and hung her head out of respect, a bow if you will. She continued to wait there until he had finally drifted away to which she would then notify the authorities.
