Earlier in the morning, Taehyung had awoken to the morning sun beaming through his window. It was relatively bright and seemed to shine directly on his eyes. At first he was going to attempt going back to sleep by rolling over, pulling the pillow over his face and drifting back into pleasant relaxation, but a bustling sound of yelling could be heard from the main guild hall. It was at this point he knew, there was no more sleep for him. The boy sat up in his bed and rubbed his eyes to remove the sleep from them and swung his legs around and onto the floor. He sat there, continuing to rub them for a moment longer until he let out a long yawn, stretching at the same time by extending his arms outward and over his head. He proceeded to pull the sheet off of himself and climbed to his feet, scatching an itch on his bare chest and then another on his right bare butt cheek. "Morning." The boy stated softly to the demon residing inside his head. Adramelech did not respond and instead, the boy was greeted with a resounding silence. It shouldn’t have been a surprise though, the demon was a cruel being that despised all human lives, even the one who he shared this body with. The only reason why Taehyung wasn’t dead was because if the boy died, so would the demon. Taehyung waited a short moment longer for the demon to respond but instead all he could hear was the yelling and bustling noise from the main hall down stairs. He walked over to his nearby wardrobe and opened the old cabinet up, taking out a pair of long pants and a grey tank top. He quickly slipped the pants on and then slipped his feet into the nearby flip flops on the floor, walking out the door as he put his arms, then the rest of his body into the tank top, the door closing behind him.
Taehyung had been a member of the Sabertooth guild for a little over three weeks now and he still had not managed to find his way around the large building. It always took him at least one hour to get from his bedroom to the kitchen and from the kitchen to the main hall took him less than ten minutes. After this time spent looking for the main hall, Taehyung grabbed something to eat before taking a look at the job postings. He stood there in front of the board with a slice of plain toast in his mouth as he looked over the board for a job that seemed remotely interesting. It was at this moment that Adramelech decided to speak, indicating to a job on the far right of the board that seemed to stand out more than all the others. We are taking that one… Taehyung looked at the job and instantly frowned. “This is a request to kill someone…” The boy stated with anger in his voice. “We are not going to kill someone, I told you that if you kill someone, I will kill myself and then we both die.” The other guild members nearby heard what was said and they all looked at him in silence, a little surprised by his words. Taehyung took notice of this and quickly reached up, taking the job off of the board and walking out of the main guild hall. We are doing it… Read it…
Taehyung looked at the piece of paper in his hand with a frown, this frown however lessened as he continued to read the information provided. It stated that an elderly man wished to die an honorable death, a death by battle. He didn’t want to live any longer and the Magic Counsel had already authorized his request for his death. Those who do kill him will be free of legal ramifications. I know you don’t want me to kill anyone and I have kept myself from doing so. But I need to release some steam and this would aid me in doing so. More importantly, it is for a good cause so to speak. Why not allow me to give this man his wish and allow me to do something I haven’t been able to do for a long time. I will also promise to not threaten to kill someone for three months. Essentially we are kill three birds with one stone. Taehyung listened to the demons words and although he didn’t want to kill anyone, it would be the demon that would be doing the kill and it would be fulfilling the man’s request. The fact that Adramelech stated that he wouldn’t threaten to kill anyone for three months was also a nice idea considering that it was something he would do often and the boy was sick and tired of hearing it.
Finally agreeing to do it, Taehyung caught the next available train to Oshibana. When he arrived, the sun was already beginning to set and a lot of people were returning to their homes. Taehyung looked at the piece of paper with the job information on it and quickly read over it again, it indicating for them to meet at a nearby park. When they arrived, a man knelt in the middle of the park, his sword had its blade stuck in the ground and a shield laying against it. "Have you come to fulfill my request?" The elderly man climbed to his feet, time had been very unpleasant to him as he looked more than a hundred years old. Taehyung closed his eyes, allowing the demon inside him to take over. Black runes formed upon his body that moved all over his body and when his eyes opened again, the had changed to a red color. "I have." Adramelech responded, the old man already grinning at the display. He quickly took hold of both his sword and shield, rushing in at the demon with unexpected speed. Lech was caught off-guard and although the blade missed him, it was only less than an inch from his face. A surprised expression held on the demon's face for a moment before twisting around, using his elbow to butt the man in the stomach, whipping around again and kicking with his leg. The elderly man managed to bring his shield up just in time to protect himself against the kick, the demon's foot hitting the center of the shield and sending the man skidding back several feet. "This is exactly what I wanted." The man smiled.
I know it is something stupid to say to you, but could you please give him a nice death? Taehyung asked, concerned as he watched the fight go on. Adramelech didn't answer him but he understood what Taehyung was talking about. Taehyung didn't want the man to be killed in a mess of blood and horror, he wanted him to die peacefully. To Adramelech, death was all the same and would do as requested. The elderly man charged in just one last time, blade held forward and with one swift movement, Adramelech took hold of the man's hilt, twisting the man's wrist and bringing the sword around to slice at the man's stomach. The man dropped to his knees, blood spilling from his stomach. The man reached into the inner pocket of his coat and took out a small bag of jewels, placing it into the demon's hand. "T-thank you." He stated, shaking as his life came to an end. Although Taehyung was the soul inside right now, mentally he closed his eyes, not wanting to watch the man die. Later that night, Adramelech made a burial site just outside of town per Taehyung's request where the demon buried the old man and Taehyung laid the man to rest.
