    Job Info:

    STRANGE WEEDS

    Health: 100
    Mana: 100%

    Mana

Purple weeds that harmed those who touched them. A strange phenomena  that has been limited to a small area around Beanstalk village. A quick glance at the request board would let anyone know how frequently the area was attacked. An ample population combined with healthy doses of latent magic made the area a hot spot for wanna-be evil doers. Mana wondered if this event was the same. She doubted that mere weeds could be so harmful that they hospitalized civilians and couldn't be taken care of with a mere weed wacker.

As she got out of the carraige that had taken her to this location, she placed her hands in front of her forming a magic circle.

"Afkareru Style, Seafearer magic, Summon Undine."
    . [Summon: Undine used]

Out of the portal appeared a woman shaped spirit with a body of water a sword clenched tightly in her hand. Her gaze was stoic, and difficult to read. Mana often wondered if she sometimes hated having to help her out so much.

"What is it this time, Seafarer?"

To Mana, even though her style of speech was distant, it was vaguely reminiscent of the caretakers she used to have growing up. Or maybe it was just that using her for such a remedial task was making her feel dependent again. No, there is a possibility that this would be more than that. If she was right, and the disruption was caused by a trouble-making wizard, there was likely a bounty to be had by capturing him. There was no way she could amass her fortune without exercising proper caution.

"I need your help in taking care of these weeds, I believe that they have been magically altered by a wizard whose taken to hiding away."

The ease of the request seemed to slightly annoy Undine, but she brandished her blade striking at one of the surrounding purple plants regardless.

    UNDINE IS TIRED ALREADY?

    Health: 100
    Magic Energy: 90%

    Mana

Mana began searching the garden for the next weed. With Undine's help the task should finish soon, without much trouble. That said, she had not been able to see her for awhile. After hacking of a second small weed, Undine vanished behind a groove of trees. Likely resting, even though she had not done much work. This was fine however. Mana realized that Undine likely saw the task as beneath her skills, but recognized that there were faint traces of magic coming from the plants. This meant an enemy wizard could be nearby, and that Mana would need help in engaging in combat. Mana herself was determined to destroy the remaining plants. Utilizing her water hair as a powerful whip, she snapped a larger weed in half. As she did so however, a sudden shock was sent through her body, and she felt as if she had received some sort of damage. Mana howled in pain, as she recalled the warning that the lady gave about touching the weeds in the first place. In an instant Undine rushed to her side, but the look of concern melted into dissatisfaction when she realize Mana's error.

"Honestly child, don't scream in pain unless there's real danger. You're a wizard after all. "

A look of shame emerged on Mana's face, and she felt tears welling up at her failure. They did not, however, overflow. She turned her face away from Undine and ushered a few simple words.

"I won't make that mistake again."

She couldn't manifest her blade at this time. It was the day, the moon was not present to give her strength. Creativity would be necessary to gather the remaining weeds. At that moment, Undine had disappeared into the aether. The pull she had on Mana's magical energy was slowly vanishing, giving Mana time to think carefully on how best to destroy the remaining weeds.
