Personality: Personality: Yoshi is a very superstitious who usually likes to be with (ahem)a few different lucky items. Yoshi is always convinced that he is cursed to be unlucky because of his birthday and usually ties to stay secluded when it comes around. He is under the idea that luck does everything in life. His Philosophy to life is, You are either born lucky or unlucky, He does believe nobody is born powerful or skill full that you have to train in order to be the best you can. Yoshi is constantly fascinated by the idea of fortune telling and goes to one almost every day. He has been fascinated with it because he believes ‘if I know what’s coming I can prepare ahead’.
Yoshi is also a helpless romantic and constantly in search for “the one” as he has been known to go after all kinds of girls and guys he’s come across. He has trouble with rejection as he will fall into a state of depression and start mumbling stuff if he is refused. It’s easy to get him out of it once he’s in it, if you point him to a fortune teller’s shop or something that might interest him he will instantly perk up and go to there.
In battle Yoshi is a very calm and relaxed person believing the only place where luck doesn’t apply is on the battle field that it’s only skill that applies. Yoshi usually gives a battle all he’s got, which can leave him tired fast. Usually resorting his magic he has been trained in hand to hand combat as he has never wanted to be good at just one thing but delve into different ways of fighting.
As a leader(which is rare) he will usually start off pretty strong, as he has a “THIS IS GOING TO BE A BREEZE” at the beginning, if things go wrong he always is complaining about his lousy luck getting the team lost. Yoshi is usually very fast to failure usually forgetting he has maps and other supplies to help them find their way. He’s not a horrible leader but do to the fact that he is quick to depression and accepting defeat makes it difficult for him and the team he is leading to finish their job quickly. His bags for traveling are usually just full of items but no organization to them making it difficult for him to find stuff.
As a team member he will usually listen to orders but usually be holding onto lucky items not wanting anything to go wrong. He will usually try to stay in the middle of a group thinking that is where accidents are least likely to happen or that he will be able to be helped better. He has always tried to be close to team and try to become friends with them as he hates being lonely. • Casinos, Yoshi has a bit of a gambling problem and hates going into casinos as with him believing in being unlucky will usually end up gambling almost all of his money away.
• Most alcohol, this brings up bad memories for him as his father was a heavy alcoholic and would be known to beat him when drunk
• Seeing abuse, Because of his younger life being abused by his father he hates seeing people abuse each other as that will get him mad and at times will attack the person who is abusing someone.
