Words written: #445 Total written: #445 #f433ff Keade's speech #a74ac7 Keade's thought | _____Helping was something the woman was very adment about trying to do. So when Alice mentioned some of her friends over in rose garden needed a hand with something Kaede sort of leaped to help without getting the full details. So when she arrived at the warehouse and looked over the job paper that was sitting on a table she felt a rock sink in her gut as she sighed. No doubt they would try to get her into a dress if they found out she was female so with a heavy and rather set mind she decided today Kaede would be 'male'. _____It pained her heart to lie like she was going to, however to avoid wearing a dress that could reveal her scars or spark her to have a traumatic episode it was a white lie she had to add to her list of wrongs since turning a new leaf. Coughing some as she tried to get her vocals deeper like she did for work before she approached. Part of her was glad she was not overly feminine at times like this as she wore her suit and jacket open over the white dress shirt and atop black dress pants and formal black boots. 'I just need to find a partner that hopefully won't feel offended I tried to play it off as a male... and hopefully they are female... and maybe someone who also has a sort of tom boy look to avoid me getting a nose bleed again... or rather as bad...' _____Sadly the truth about the woman who still had a hard time hiding or dealing with her growing desire to have a partner of the same gender. She partly blamed it on Alice for always teasing her about it, and the other on how she never exactly was taught by her mother on how to hide she liked someone. The fact her mother was not around most her life because she was murdered and the memory of it causing the girl to frown slightly before slapping her cheeks with her white gloves and steeled herself. _____Today was not going to be her brooding over the past or her training to make sure she could stop things like what happen to her from happening to others. She was here to help deliver some chocolate to people who needed it, and whatever 'temporary marriage' thing was. To be honest the who thing was hard to wrap her head around but hopefully it would not effect how things went overall with the task at hand as the fe'male' looked for someone who needed a partner also or anyone that stood out really. Re: Golden duo (Private)
Kloria was flying her shuttle low, so low that it was on par with the traffic of the city, from what she understood this was a relatively simple job. She left the autopilot on, so she could read from the green holographic screen displaying information about the Valentine traditions, trying to get an understanding. "A holiday celebrating love I get, but showing affection through Chocolate? Eugh, honestly that is one of the most disgusting flavors I've tasted on Earth-Land. Work is work though."
However when she was speaking with her elders, there was a great deal of concern regarding the marriage of Earth-Land. Exdraxians have no qualms with shared power, but whether it would work is another story, and if humans could handle it. Her capabilities at the moment being the Exo-Armos made the situation worse, as even if someone else could summon it from within Kloria's body, the sheer concentration requirements could overwhelm an unprepared human. She was told so long as she made it clear that the individual she paired with for the job she could undertake it given how simple the situation of the request.
Finding the factory, she raised the shuttle to about twelve feet above the ground before she walked to the middle of the shuttle, and moved the elevator aside so she could jump out the hatch landing on her left foot and right knee. She stood up and looked at the basic Exdraxian vessel, and instructed Syba, the on board AI. "Syba, go park at the predetermined area and park under I call." Kloria start to walk away as the ship elevated high into the sky before heading north.
Kloria looked around, she could smell chocolate in the air as it was in overproduction, Kloria assumed that was because this was the high time that it is desired. However she knew that this job required someone to experience the marriage system, so she began to look around for a wizard. She figured that there was only one fair way to determine if there was one nearby.
Closing her eyes, she honed her senses for a brief moment as she was able to sense the magical energy coming from all beings, slowly picking off individuals until her path was left with a single ember in sight. She focused on that and looked in the direction to see the casually dressed blonde barely over a foot shorter then her.
Kloria then proceeded to walk over, unable to determine the gender from a glance so far away, but she made several notes. "From the frame of shoulders, the height, and the posture, either a girl or the most feminine man in the universe." Kloria approached the figure, her left hand on her hip as she decided that it would be best to have a bit of a cavalier approach. No use trying to make anyone nervous or uneasy. "Hey there cutie, I am Kloria Xicor. I suppose you're also here for the job?"

So it came as slightly a shock when someone spoke and it seemed to be in her general direction. Eyes slowly moving up from the ground to see the smooth legs of another figure, the perfectly toned muscle that was not overkill but still showcasing the equality of beauty and strength. _____What looked to be skin tight blue fabric caused her to lose it more as her face already started turning red before she even reached the stomach of the figure. The sporty attire seemed a perfect fit for the body and it was even better contrast color to the skin. Even the upper body kept the balance overall and the golden hair with blue eyes broke the mind of the woman into internal screaming of way out of her league as her nose started to feel runny and her face to red to really tell if she was bleeding. _____What would only make it more comical was how her hand rose from her pocket to point at herself with a trembling hand. 'there is no WAY someone that divine is talking to me... She has to be a marriage... damn it Kaede pull yourself together...' The inner battle she was suffering as she closed her eyes tightly and reopened to still see the woman only made it harder to keep her focus. If she seemed to hint she was in fact talking to Kaede the smaller girl's face would turn one shade deeper red. "ye... yes..." - the voice faint but holding true to her attempt to sound like a male. as she coughed slightly to try and regain more composure before the goddess of a woman. She had to make a good impression, even if it was deceit of being a male she did not want to mess things up. "From that, one might assume you are also? If it is not imposing might I ask who is graced to be paired with one such as beautiful as you?~" Kaede wanted to slam her head against the nearest wall. Of all the things she could have said to try and break the ice she pick a line she used at work for guest?! This woman was a league beyond any girl she should have come up with something unique and she blew it bad. Prince Princess |

Re: Golden duo (Private)
Kloria noted the reaction of the the girl and unfortunately was not surprised. In her time she had dealt with people being nervous to make a move on her, but she had to admit none were as cute as the individual before her. She could sense the nervousness, however what bothered Kloria was the voice. She heard the coughs, she could tell the girl was grasping at straws to hold some form of act. She did not want to scare away the young maiden, but she had her own issues with liars.
However the question did bother her slightly as there were no other wizards around, Kloria decided to have a bit of fun with the girl. She placed her left foot against the wall behind Kaede and leaned in a bit. She summoned a rag from within her right hand, she keeps loose cloths dematerialized for times like this. She gently grabbed the girl by the chin with her left index finger and thumb before she wiped off the blood from the girl's face, and the bone structure reassured her this was a girl. She figured she might as well answer in kind to the girl. "Who you ask? do your eyes not meet mine, you are the one in my sight and the one I'm asking. I've only been on this planet for a few weeks but I must say, I never met a girl as cute as you... It would be a pleasure to work with you."
The honed instincts of the hunter noticed the footsteps of the approaching horse wagon with a middle aged man driver, and walking beside it was a elderly man carrying a black book. The wagon stopped as the man walked up to the two wizards. "Ah, you two must be the wizards undertaking this job. I am also ordained as a minister. Are you ready for this, temporary marriage?"
Kloria stood up and nodded. "Yes, but if they're ready is the question. Also my magic is incompatible with the marriage magic. It is summoned from something fused with my body, and might be incompatible with human physiology even if it works with marriage magic." The man nodded "A generous warning."

Well up until she caught on to the rest of what the woman had said and thus re-sparking her blushed state as she nervously fiddled her thumbs and tried not to break her focus from the goddess before her. When the old man spoke Kaede gave up trying her voice since the cat was out of the bag already. "I'm fine... ...I tend to get like this... erm... not as bad but... in this sort of situation rather often..." _____Her voice was faint, but not entirely to the point it would be unheard. Kaede always had a rather timid and quiet voice compared to most and it was why she often used her attempted masculine voice to make sure others could hear her. Trying to move slightly from the taller woman, though blushing more if her attempt was noticed since she had to get closer before she could get away and did not wish to be seen as making unwanted moves on the woman. Her head stinging after she got away as part of her felt something was off but fought to keep it from showing. "Would... you like to wear the dress... or would you... prefer I did...?" _____A timid laugh following her question, though her eyes clearly showed she was not exactly behind the idea of wearing a dress. Sure she would if the woman asked because she wanted to stay in the good grace of her, but as her head shot off another spark she held it and tried to block it out. Something in her requip space was acting up over everything she she partly assumed it was Camelot refusing the idea of others possibly calling it out. Little did Kaede know it was the other old item her father and mother had given her that was acting out actually. Prince Princess |

Re: Golden duo (Private)
After Kaede admitted she was ready indirectly, Kloria was glad that there seemed to be no immediate issue aside from the confidence of the youngest party. Kloria had turned out the man, not caring as he was reading some dragged out scripture that she presumed parts were the spell, but she started to pay attention as two translucent silver rings appeared on the two girls left ring fingers. The old man closed his book with a single hand. "Alright. Neither of you ladies appear religious so I skipped to the bare basics. Especially you Miss Xicor, how can you be that shamelessly walk around like that?
All that's left is the kiss to seal the deal."
Kloria disregarded the remark as she looked down at the smaller woman. She could tell the girl was nervous but there was little time for her to adjust since the cargo load was already prepared and out. Kloria slowly reached her hands down and grabbed Kaede by her hips before gently lifting her up to close to eye level for a moment before she leaned a bit as she pulled Kaede in closely, closing her eyes before her lips gently touched the soft lips of the young maiden. The rings generated by magic slowly solidified into silver rings.
Afterwards, she put down Kaede at the back of the the cart nearly filled with crates of chocolate, before she walked around, grabbing the edge of the cart on the opposite side before jumping up and sat on the back of the cart balancing herself out with ease as one leg was hanging out. She nodded to the client before she slapped the side of the cart twice, the driver started pull the reigns as he started to drive the carriage through the city. Kloria kept her eyes eyes peeled, she clenched her fist as green particles started to leak out before conforming into her Axo-Canon. "You don't have to answer this, but why did a girl like you take this job?"
Kloria did not want to pry, but the allure of a mystery was too great to overcome as she already had a lot of ideas in mind about the girl. Kloria knew she was over four times the girl's age, old enough to be dating her great grandmother, luckily at the moment they were at least at a similar stage physically. "You seem like you've got quite a bit to hide, I've been around the block a few times. I am an alien myself, from next galaxy galaxy over, but no matter how you word it a flower is still a flower, the names change but the game stays the same. It seems as though you want to hide your femininity but don't want to discard it, given that I am a hunter/warrior/repairer/etc, the term doesn't translate into a single word here but I know the struggles. But you dress too casually for it to be a warrior's pride..."
Kloria moved her gaze to shift occasionally to behind the cart or in front, making sure she could hear or see any threat coming to the cart. She knew that she would have to watch the girl she was working with as well. For now, she was wondering if they were stable enough to work, and decided that it would be better to assume a lead point since that the girl seemed to have some social stuff to work through. However internally she had her own speculations.
"In all honesty, I feel like it involves some sick Betacho. Stories like this always do..."

Words written: #520 Total written: #1700 #f433ff Keade's speech #a74ac7 Keade's thought | _____If the woman was intent on making Kaede have to start up a mental reboot she achieved just that. Getting lifted into a kiss seemed to crash every system the girl had as she just looked shocked when she was set down and her brain tried to recover from an earlier point. As the Cart started moving she still seemed to be regaining motor functions as she blinked slowly after the time spent wide eyed. Sadly her system did not spare her as her hand raised to her lips and she noticed the ring and felt the warmth of her lips as her face went scarlet again. "wha... my... first... kiss..." _____Kaede seemed fine with the idea the woman was the first, but just shocked she shut down from it and could not recall much more from the fact it had happen. Hearing the questions Kaede looked down at her right hand for a moment. Left holding her head as she grumbled and reached at the air as her hand vanished into her pocket dimension and after a moment dragging out what was causing the issue as a small Lacrima seemed to pulse as it was set on her lap while she took the right glove off her hand slowly. "My friend said some of her friends needed help with something... so I jumped the gun and offered to help... I sort of owe her a lot..." Kaede would show the black burn on her right hand, the symbol of a known dark guild mark used on their slaves if the woman kept tabs on such things before Kaede covered it back up. "After I escaped... she gave me a place to call home and even risked her life to protect me from the man who enslaved me in the first place..." _____Kaede's frame started to tremble recalling the man, but holding the Lacrima close to her chest she eased out of her terror before moving to place it back in the pocket space now that it seemed to have calmed down. Looking to the woman she could not help but blush badly and think about asking for a redo of the kiss so she would have a better memory of it. The idea sending a bolt up and down her spine and another shade of red to take her over as she quickly looked away mumbling to herself. "They had be dress up alot... or undress so... Wearing cloths nothing like the things a wore back then help me relax some... the same for acting like a guy... but more to hide in case they are still serching... and i know that man... won't stop... not until he has what I'm protecting... But I won't... I can't break the promise..." Great Kaede, scare her away with your troubled past, right after you marry the woman... The fact hitting her like a train as she looked on the verge of another system restore as she heated up and her ears got redder as she kept her focus from the woman to try and relax as she took deep breaths slowly. "Sick Betachos... Sounds like even here 'cleaning' needs to be done."
Kloria listened intently to the story of the damaged maiden, and made a note to memorize the mark branded by the wicked men, and make sure if she ever found them that they need to pay. But the Lacrima the girl was holding seemed to innate a reaction from her Axo-Canon, the brief two flashes let her know that there was a deeper level scan in place. However she remained focused on the girl and her problems for now. "I'm sorry, that's a fate no one deserves... I swear nothing infuriates me more then scum like that. If I ever met one of them, let's just say they'd still be breathing, but never able to harm a woman again."
Kloria could tell there was something about the girl that made her a target, she sympathized with the younger woman as she too knows what it's like to be targeted. After she first acquired the Exo-Armos she was a target of jealousy, true she was well accomplished, but it was only until her late 60's that she appeared to have earned the respect of most. "Personally I can understand your plight, but if it helps, you don't need to hide yourself or pretend to be anything around me, an act can hide you, but sometimes being exposed to the right person can heal you."
Kloria was suspicious that she was being watched, she looked in all directions until she could see what appeared to be an average young adult male who was suspiciously close to the edge before she noticed his quick motion as he tried to reach inside, however he made a gross miscalculation in speed of the card and reflexes of Kloria as she grabbed the man by the arm and tossed him up into the air behind her before she jumped behind her, landing on her feet as her Axo-canon seemed to spark in a orange light as she calculated her aim as she jammed the man in the gut when he was coming close to the ground, sending him flying into a hedge halfway before falling onto the ground, coughing out a bit of blood.
He grabbed some form of heart shaped throwing star from his pocket that he tried to throw at Kloria, who simply stood still as she knew it was going to miss, when all it did was hit a random tree before falling down. "You crazy bitch! What was that for, harming an innocent defenseless man like that! Rune Knights! Help!"
Kloria sighed, in her eyes this man was just pure stupid, he should not have tried to throw a weapon at her and try the horrible act. "You're an idiot, you tried to steal from a cart guarded by two wizards. You really can't expect to win that way. Besides I broke 6 bones at worst, you'll live."

Just what she needed, not only was her wife amazing in appearance but personality and willing to offer help to the partner she barely knew. What stirred her from her dazed embarrassment was the loud shouting of a man. Turning to see the man looking at Kloira who spoke back about him having tried something and getting just karma. Hands lifting as she tried to speak up some. "Calm down Kloira... I'm sure he is just venting... maybe nobody he knows got him any candy... or maybe he could not afford it and was just trying to make someone's day a bit brighter..." _____Kaede tried to be the voice of good for the man. She wanted to see the brightness of the world, and it often cast a delusion over her eyes. If Kloira seemed angry about her words she would look to her feet as if she had just gotten a full scolding and braced to be hit as her body tensed up. If she was spared the hit her eye would open slowly before she seemed to uncoil but kept her focus down. A small voice taking over the air around her. "I know that might not have been the case... but breaking bones of people is not a sort of 'at worse' thing... Bones take a long time to heal... and they never heal the same way... always a phantom or slight shell of the past and a constant reminder of what caused it lurks... Ah... Sorry...." Balling herself up again as she reached her hand outward as a staff formed in her hand and a pink light traveled to the male to help heal some of the wounds and remove part of the pain. Sure it was a bad idea, but Kaede felt bad after hearing he might have suffered broken bones. It was a very paining if left untreated quickly. Prince Princess |

Re: Golden duo (Private)
Kloria was slightly disappointed when Kaede healed the thief. This was possibly the first instance of culture clash that was going to result in a negative impact. While on Earth-Land, thievery wasn't as large of a deal as it was on Exdrax. Kloria especially held those ideals, she found stealing unjustly to be a heinous act as to her, if someone wanted something they had to earn it. However she did she the naivety in Kaede, no doubt in her mind that it was a coping mechanism. She walked over to the girl, breaking her own rule of professionalism first for an instant given that it would conflict with another to not break it. Exdraxians have a custom that hunters always look after their husbands/wives first, and even in a temporary marriage rules are rules.
Kloria approached Kaede from behind, and leaned in as she wrapped her left arm around Kaede and tried to comfort the younger woman. She held the girl close as she softly whispered to the woman "It's okay, I'm not mad at you and you are safe, relatively speaking. Just breathe, as long as I can see you, nothing will hurt. This is just a bit of culture clash. I'll explain later." Kloria slowly removed her arm and lifted herself off of the smaller woman as she walked around and grabbed the man by the collar and lifted him. "Keep yourself alert, I'm going to send this man on his way once a distance away. He's not Mr. Innocent. I would be more forgiving if he didn't try to throw a weapon at me."
Kloria then proceeded to lightly job away, dragging the body of the thief with her until she walked away, only to have an ominous feeling until she looked back only to see yet again, another thief trying to steal from the cart. She was glad she wasn't alone, but she kept checking every few seconds, making sure he was within range at all times until she picked the man up onto his feet, giving him a light shove and a glare that suggested he should not try to argue before she jogged back towards the cart.
Since all there was to face was lowlife scum, Kloria had faith that Kaede could handle herself, it was a simple situation of protecting the cart, shouldn't be a major problem.

Words written: #460 Total written: #2490 #f433ff Keade's speech #a74ac7 Keade's thought | _____Being comforted by Kloria was the second time Kaede's mind reset. While this time she seemed to snap back quicker as she watched the woman walk away and her nose started to trail again as she covered it with her sleeve. Ear catching the sound of someone approaching the side of the cart as her free arm moved outward to grab his wrist before it reached the content they had been tasked with moving along. A flicker in Kaede's eyes as she gently smiled to the figure. "I would not try stealing friend... It is a bad thing and as I have been tasked to guard it I will give chase... or rather... IT would..." _____Kaede would move her glove that was covered in her blood to point upward, the large two handed sword she often used floating at the ready to slam into the ground. Sure it was only staying where it was because Kaede had yet to fully call it from her pocket dimension but the fact the blade was the size of the girl and was seemingly ready to fall if she let go or needed it to was enough for the man to back away slowly. Letting his hand go as she tried to smile and was going to say he made the wise choice or even ask the driver if she could give him some and pay when they arrived. _____Sadly as the broken heart shape object flew at Kaede her words stopped before starting and her sword vanished and appeared in her hand as the two metals sparked off each other. Kaede wanted to see the good, the reason behind the attack but simply could not. Blade vanishing as she waved her hand and a black shield emerged from her pocket space. A ray of teal light rushing forward encasing the man in Ice as Kaede bowed her head and spoke up not fully sure he could hear her or not. "Please take a moment to cool down sir... Attacking others is never good... no matter the reason even in self defense..." _____One who took her own words to heart as she often fought back now when the thought she would be dragged back into her past life. Looking to where she had last seen Kloria as her heart sank for a moment thinking the girl had ran off. But as quickly as it sank it would race and skip a few beats at the idea Kloria might be in trouble. Looking to the cart and back a few times and she honestly weighed the options. To rush to help Kloria, or to guard the cart. Her mind a war zone as the shield and staff she held vanished due to her clouded mind. Prince Princess |

Re: Golden duo (Private)
After the man Kloria took care off had left the vicinity, she returned her focus back to the cart as she started to jog back. She figured that Kaede would be fine if left alone for barely two minutes, only to learn that it was extremely the opposite as she saw that Kaede was visibly panicking. To make matters worse it would seem the thief that Kaede had just taken down was not working alone as she saw the man approach Kaede with his shuriken aimed. "Crapbaskets, Syba! Do I have Cho-Armos?" The yellow parts of her Axo-Canon lit up again as the artificial intelligence system responded. "Affirmative, but only with Limit barrier 3" Kloria hated having to go through the whole Fiore legal system to use even a shred of her arsenal, but unfortunately she had to play by all the rules. "It's gonna have to be enough."
An array of particles shot out of her skin quickly before shooting back towards her as the true form of Exo-Armos came piece by piece. As soon as every piece formed the green lights around her knees and breast plate lit up and her visor flashed for a moment. Her speed seemed to increase drastically from her already superhuman speed. She proceeded to jump as she tucked her legs in, holding them with her free arm as she rolled through the air just as the the man was about to grab Kaede from behind. "You god damn bitch, I'll cut you for what you did to my broth-"
Before he could finish his sentence, Kloria was coming in for a landing in which she carefully timed her responses so that she would reach out her Axo-Canon and hit the man in the neck with the side of it, bringing him down with her as she landed on a her left foot and right knee. The man coughed blood before looking over to the red helmet, unable to see any eyes through the green visor that slowly turned to him. He looked over, fear in his eyes. Kloria's voice shot through to his core. "Don't you dare lay your filthy hands on her."
Kloria stood up only to notice more relatives of the two were shouting from an alley. Kloria ignored them as she turned to face Kaede. "Always stay focused on the objective, I was just tossing out some trash." The relatives began throwing stones at Kloria, which just bounced off her armor clearly not doing anything. She rested a hand on Kaede's shoulder. "You think scum like these guys could do anything to me? This is nothing, I killed beasts four times their size with sixteen times their power." The relatives began to start throwing knives, hammers, or other assorted tools. "You don't have to worry, I am not going to fall anytime to-" Kloria noticed that this time the relatives were steaming as they through what appeared to be a kitchen sink. Kloria aimed her Axo-Canon to the side as the end of the barrel spit into four as it opened, in the Axo-Canon a missile was quickly formed and it shot at the kitchen sink, causing an explosion near the side walk. Kloria looked over to the bunch. "You may wanna stop that before you see what happens when you actually have my attention."
The group scurried to grab the two thieves and drag them away, albeit one frozen. Kloria sighed and figured it best to return to the job at hand. "Let's get back to work." She then proceeded to lift Kaede and carry her under her arm back to the cart as she jogged back to catch up with it, before putting Kaede back in and she would just walk beside at this point. She kept her Axo-Canon down with a hand over it, just waiting for the next robber.

Getting picked up again however was, while less nerve destorying more of an annoyance. She could walk fine herself and did not want to be seen as someone who always needed Kloria's help with things. When she was set down her focus shifted from the goddess to notice some kids to the left of the cart taking notice to the content of the cart. Moving to climb the cart to whisper to the person at the reins as they exchanged a few words before she moved back to take a box and hopped over the side of the cart. _____A nervous hand reaching the box out with a faint smile towards the kids who seemed more then eager to take it and run off without so much as a thank you. Kaede did not mind it, while sure it did sting a small amount to have agreed to pay triple the value of the chocolates so the kids could get them for free she was simply content with helping prevent any harm or danger to the kids. Hand moving back as she adjusted her sleeve and hopped back to the cart while reaching into her pocket dimension. Arm moving out to reveal a fairly large bag she set on her lap to start counting out the jewels. "...Sorry... it was the closest bag... My dad and mom had... a... well used to be pirates to other pirates and they never exactly gave what they stole from them back... before... well guess I can say I've been left with it all..." _____Kaede did not like to admit it, but she also did not want to hide the fact her family had done some bad things and she kept the spoils from it. To her she knew it was very wrong, but at the same token it was one of the few ways she recalled them in good memory. Flashes of the dead bodies causing her to start tearing up as she counted the last of the jewels and tossed the bag back within the pocket space before looking up to Kloria with a blush as she wiped the tears from her eyes. "Seems you know a lot more about me then I do you now ha ha... Not like I want to pry... or mind if you know... I... well..." _____Kaede would quiet back down when she noticed what she was starting to employ with her words. She did not want to guilt trip the other woman to learn more about her, she would prefer to just sit down and chat with her to ease into the girl's life. Face going crimson as she face glowed for a moment before a large scarf covered her blushed face out of embarrassment. 'Gosh darn it Kaede... get your mind on strait...' Moving to pull the scarf up some more before moving to ball up. Prince Princess |

Re: Golden duo (Private)
Kloria sighed as kids came running up to the cart. Although after three grown men trying to steal from it, she supposed that seeing kids try to steal wouldn't be surprising. Her Axo-Canon seemed to light up for a moment before it shifted. The center raised as the barrel extended, before the air suddenly got colder around Kloria as she switched to the Froize-Axo. She was ready to freeze the kids if she had to, or at least look intimidating. However before she could do anything she noticed the kindness of Kaede, how she was willing to give the kids the chocolate for free at triple the price to herself. She figured that was the only fair way for everyone to be happy, the recipient of the delivery was not there so if his property was sold without his knowledge, tripling the price was fair.
"While that was quite generous, remember that we are delivering someone else's property. It's not entirely right to try and sell it to yourself and give it away."
Kloria noticed that Kaede admitted that her storage of jewels had come from a less then credible source. She could've guessed that Kaede was born to horrid parents, but she chose not to act on that suspicion. However she was glad that even if she was a shy wreck, she did not turn out like her parents, but Kloria was suspicious, it made sense but not complete sense. The sight of Kaede crying created tension in Kloria's mind, leaving her wondering exactly how bad of a life did this girl suffer.
After her Cho-Armos and Axo-Canon dispelled back into light particles that retracted into her body, she climbed back into the cart. She sat next to Kaede. "It's only natural I'd know, I got a lot of experience reading you. I am not human, I'm actually an alien from a different galaxy, a race called Exdraxian. While visually similar, wee have a slower aging process and longer lifespan then humans. To put it lightly, I'm old enough to be playing bingo with your great grandmother."
Kloria reached under her right wristband and pulled out what appeared to be a golden crest with some alien writing engraved. "On Exdrax, I was known as the Champion of Exdrax, as I was chosen to receive the Exo-Armos, essentially it's like a religious and military figure in one. While not the head of either, I had weight to throw around. Which is why I warned you about it incompatibility with humans.
Kloria hid the badge back underneath her right wristband. "Before that, I was pretty much the golden prodigy child, always trying to live up to expectations. Basically becoming the champion was like adding a brick house on my shoulders. So I had to get better at everything."
Kloria looked at the road, and it seemed like smooth sailing from here to get the job finished. "I got no secrets though. You can ask anything you want."

Words written: #530 Total written: #3528 #f433ff Keade's speech #a74ac7 Keade's thought | _____Hearing more about the woman before Kaede only drew her to feel sort of depressed. Knowing the age difference she quickly wrote the kindness as simply her seeing her as nothing but a young child who suffered to much and sank some more in her spot. Sure she wanted to think it was just her being over-analytical but so far the facts all lined up to match her thoughts. Moving to lower her scarf as she looked away from Kloria to try and hid her embarrassment she thought the woman was into her. "That... explains why kissing was so 'ok' with you I guess... I don't want to pry into your life... if you want to share I'll try to listen..." _____The air from Kaede just seemed to vanish back into her, her shyness taking hold again as she focused more on the other things happening around them rather then the other woman. Noticing when the cart came to a halt Kaede wasted no time to get some distance from the other woman. Her right hand holding her left as she moved to give the man the jewels and explain it before she bowed her head and started to leave the area. Kaede never stuck around to get paid, partly because she did not need more jewels and it helped her 'pay back' the money she had. _____'Kaede... you know it was going to be something like that... Just like how Alice sees you only as a friend... Kloria likely has someone else no doubt... Just walk away and don't let your heart get chipped away more...' Her pacing picking up before Kaede started to sprint away, a slow tear tracing the air behind her as she rushed away hoping she could just be left alone. She would have to get her head on strait again before she left the house for anything but work. _____Her frame getting tugged from behind, part of her wanted to shout at Kloria thinking it was the woman before she noticed a cloth over her mouth and her gaze being forced to turn to see the black symbol she feared. Frame fighting to try and get free before her tie dropped and she fell limp in the figure's arms and was dragged away into a cart and taken away. Kaede woke in her mind, sitting across from a figure who was overlooking what she would be seeing if she was still awake. a golden eye shifting to focus on the woman as the words echoed. "For her daughter you seem to be caught so easily... your mother is likely rolling in her grave over this..." _____As the figure fully turned Kaede could recall the man, or rather creature that was often near her mother up until the day she died. He was always there to protect, but when he was needed he had up and vanished. Balling her fist she marched over to try and punch him for being part of the reason her mother and father had died only to have it pass through him. Grumbling the two had a few words to exchange and seemingly plenty of time until Kaede woke up. ~~Thread Exit~~ Prince Princess |

Re: Golden duo (Private)
Kloria could tell that the girl was getting antsy and nervous, but she figured that the girl was naturally this way towards people she only met recently, let alone get married to strangers. However Kloria had a gut feeling something was wrong but saw no reason to act on her instincts. When the cart stopped and she received payment, she offered to help the cart unload, which seemed to make the store clerks happy but nervous shortly after when Kloria was able to carry half the load into the store at once. The staff had no problems with carrying the rest back into the shop. When the Exdraxian walked out barely a minute after she got off the cart, she noticed that Kaede was not around. She knelled down and noticed faint traces of foot prints.
"Anxious, she wanted to get away. Perhaps she is going to blow. I should probably tail her, make sure she doesn't get abducted or cornered or something. Otherwise given suspicion on me generated by Nessa I will be seen as the prime suspect either way if something happens."
While following the path of the petite human, Kloria backtracked the entire conversation she had with Kaede during the course of the mission, and double checked which information she disclosed. She hated lying, but there were things about her past that she had to keep hidden under lock and key, to protect life outside the reach of the devils blood that forced the Exdraxians to leave their galaxy. Assured that it was something that wasn't purely racial or Kloria revealed something she shouldn't have, she followed the trail down to it's end.
When she found a loose tie on the ground, she knelled down to pick it up before she picked up on the scent, sniffing it closer to be sure. It was indeed the same scent Kaede wore, and if it was discarded, something was wrong. On closer inspection she saw that where Kaede's footsteps ended, there were marks left behind from someone being dragged. "Damn it, what happened here?"
Kloria looked around, there were no clear strong indicators of a struggle, however the markings on the ground and the tie are proof that something happened. Kloria looked around and noticed a rather short man wearing pants and a undershirt, with stubble smoking a cigar. "You lookin' for that shorty that got snatched up?" Kloria looked over, blinking for a moment before she caught onto the lingo and translated it. She walked over to the man. "What did you see?"
The man looked up and down Kloria, before getting a devilish smirk. "Make it worth my while blondie and I'll sing like a bird." Kloria sighed, and with her knee bashed him against the pole, causing him to cough and spit out his cigar. "You can't handle me, nor want me angry, I am in a rush so talk." The man got sweaty and nervous as he spoke rather quickly. "Some strange man used a wet rag to subdue the flat broad and dragged her off, some schmucks tried to follow but the man disappeared in an alley."
Kloria quickly ran into the alley mentioned and noticed the lukewarm trail she was following grow incredibly colder. Once she realized there was nothing that can be done, she punched the dumpster. "Is there anyone I can protect in this world?!"
"In your place I'd be more worried about your social life, still single. Gotta admit, even I liked the girl. She was good in all the right places." Kloria turned around immediately at the sound of the familiar voice as she saw out of a puddle of blue energy stood someone wearing a similar armor to her Cho-Armos, but with slight variations such as the black and blue colors and how the armor almost seemed organic. In the free hand seemed to be a rather large black rose with a red stem, giving off an odd vibe. Kloria knew who was underneath the suit. "Nessa! Why are you here...?"
Before Kloria could draw out her weaponry, Nessa seemed to fall through the puddle she was standing on and appeared in top of a building. "You weren't actually following me here this time? Damn, I'm lucky." Kloria quickly scaled the building, but she was too late as Nessa had already disappeared. She sighed, closing her eyes for a moment before she thought about the situation. "Both are long gone, Phaz jumping is hard to track with short range capabilities, and I don't know who took Kaed- No, those sons of bitches came back for her. Whoever they are, that girl, as much as I don't like intruding, this may not be my planet, but I don't want to join the list of people that gave up on her without a fight..." Kloria took off her left wrist band, and wrapped the tie around her wrist before she put the wristband back on.
"That girl, deserves better... Better then someone like me."
