It had been a few days since the original meeting between Aiyana and Advent had met. That had been an interesting day, leading up to her becoming a mentor to help him learn about himself and his magic so that he could do good for himself and others rather than the fate that he seemed to have currently. Her trip back to the Lamia Scale guild hall, located in Hargeon Town, had ended up a lesson in guilds and how they functioned in Fiore. After their arrival, she had talked to her ex-boyfriend, Thomas, about getting Advent a place to stay whenever he was in town. It had gone well, Thomas giving a free room for as long as needed, and after that Aiyana had taken Advent to the job board and gone over the system of it with him before finding a job that was a piece of cake for someone like her. It was to deal with a cult of murderous doppelgangers that seemed to be hiding in the Oak Inn's basement. It would be easy for Aiyana to take care of them, and because of that, it would be a good way to see just what Advent could do currently so that she could help him improve after.
The trip to Oak Town had been one of questions and answers about Fiore, the Magic Council, and anything else about guilds and ranks for mages and jobs that he may have had. If she was going to teach him he at least had to know the basics for the country they were in. It wasn't until they reached the entrance of the Oak Inn that she would finally have a more serious tone to her voice as she spoke. "All right, Advent, we have made it to the building we're supposed to find this cult of murderers in. Stay with me, and let me see what you can safely do while deal with the problem head on. They will likely already know we are here. What cult doesn't have lookouts, right? I'll walk in first, and stick close. We have no clue how many there are going to be, or what they can really do. I can keep us safe, but we still need to pay attention to what our normal senses are telling us." The woman would open the door to the basement complex from the side of the building. Upon hitting the ground of the complex she would silently wait for Advent before moving on. Any questions he had for her would be answered, and they would hopefully learn something about him before the job was through.
