Job Title: Cosplay Café (Neutral Job)

    Rank: D

Player Requirements: Up to five people are allowed, preferably females but males are allowed as well. 15 posts minimum, at least 150 words per post.

Job Requirements: Must choose a suitable cosplay costume for either being a waitress, waiter, or chef. This can range from anything like maids, to bunnies, to butlers, to cat-girls/guys, whichever your character feels most appropriate for them. You are then to serve the customers that come in to the café for the rest of the day. The hours are from 6am to 10pm. If you harm any of the customers however, you are docked five hundred jewels from the reward for each one. And remember, the customer is always right. Even if they are wrong.

    Job Location: Crocus

Job Description: “Ah, please, help. I have recently opened a lovely little café here in the Capital of Fiore, the lovely city of Crocus. It has fine food, fine drink, and has a prime location to draw in plenty of customers! But alas… all of my staff have taken ill, or gone off on holiday! I plead, I beg of anyone, please come help my café! If I lose even one day of business, I may not be able to pay the bank who owns the building at the end of the month! And then my café would be ruined and would have to close! Uniforms will be provided of course, and you will be well paid for your troubles. Travel expenses included!”

    Enemies:
Weak: Three teenagers who have hit that “hit on everything” stage in life. Expect plenty of very cheesy pick-up lines.

Normal: Four school-children about five to ten years old, with no parental supervision. They may change their minds several times before finally getting around to ordering, and watch out, they may try to slip away without paying afterwards.

Strong: Two cosplay fans who will want to take pictures of anything, everything and everyone in a variety of poses. Depending on your costume, you may be asked to do certain things or hold certain poses.

Boss:The Ultimate Pervert! He cares not for your personal space, believing that you chose to work here and dress as such because you want the attention he gives you.

This customer will take any opportunity to “accidentally” brush against you, or touch your backside, or touch you in any way that could be construed as just short of harassment.

They will ogle, they will make innuendoes, they will drop stuff solely to watch you bend over and pick it up, they may even try to “date” you for the course of their meal, or command you like a master does their servants, taking the roleplaying to the test of your patience.

However, these usually tend to be the big tippers. So do try to restrain yourselves from lashing out at them hmm?

Reward: 2000 Jewels + Tip (Tip cannot exceed 100 jewels) plus the cosplay you chose to do this job. The manager has a surprising surplus.

Riding on Kazuno seemed rather refreshing if the girl that owned the mount was going to be honest, The female riding the turtle could feel the breeze caress her face, letting her hair dance with the air's currents, she just hoped that her companion that was also riding the turtle felt the same. On the bright side, it wasn’t a bumpy ride so far to say the least…

The reason why Aino brought along a buddy and riding on her turtle mount is because the both of them decided to do a certain job at a cafe, while Aino was pretty nervous that she would have to deal with strangers, it is the mixture of experience of being a waitress of sorts and attempting to bond with someone that made her go for it in the first.

It took a short time thanks to Kazuno, but the two of them finally stopped at their destination, and Aino had to halt the cute turtle so she could hop down. She didn’t go in the building immediately however, she went straight over to the turtle's mouth and took out a treat for the cutie, to which, they accepted gratefully.

“Here you go…” Aino mumbled to Kazuno, before petting the mount. “Okay. Here we are… haha… I am quite nervous…” Aino stated before looking at her turtle once more. “According the job thing, the owner will have some costumes for us though, how exciting! I am sure you will look adorable in yours!”

It was clear that Aino was trying to be as positive as possible, even though she was struggling on the inside. She won’t let her heart give way though, she needed to do this, she needed to fight her fear of strangers and she needed to appreciate that all strangers aren’t bad, in fact, some can be helpful.

    “Shall we go inside??”

The magic of Teamwork Empty Re: The magic of Teamwork

Post by Samira Nassar 12th September 2017, 5:20 am

It was a rather pleasant journey to the capital city of Fiore as the Lamia Scale duo rode on the back of a rather oversized turtle. Samira's last ride on the back of an animal mount was rather chaotic and swift in comparison, and made her queasy afterwards. With the turtle's pace she came to enjoy herself as she took in the sights of the journey. The owner of the mount, Aino, was a new member of her guild. Their meeting each other had been delayed due to Samira having been elsewhere on the other woman's first day but eventually the two had crossed paths and somehow ended up taking a job together. It was a simple one; be a waitress for a day. However, simplicity was often varied from person to person. Samira knew she likely would have little effort remaining calm and patient, but her companion was likely to have some issues. She seemed to be a shy girl that had little experience dealing with people. There were even rumors concerning her having had some sort of panic attack the moment she stepped within the entrance to the guild hall.

"You will do fine," Samira said reassuringly as she hopped off the turtle and gave it a pat as if to say thank you for the ride. "Yes, costumes. What type of costumes are they exactly?" Truthfully, Samira was in over her head. The thought that it was a cafe that may of had cute and skimpy maid outfits and the like never dawned on her beforehand. Paying attention to such businesses never made it onto her agenda. Regardless of the answer, the summoner reached for the knob of the door to open it but as she did the door opened from the other side and before them appeared a middle aged woman in a type of business suit. "Oh! You're here! Come come! We have to get you two dressed before the owner arrives. He had to go get a replacement chef for the day." The woman was cheerful and rather excited to have two new employees to dress. She did not allow them time for much of a response and just went behind them and began to push the two women to the back of the cafe where the costume dressing room was located.

The room was rather large and contained several racks of different costumes, as well as alternate coloration of each. The woman took a deep breath and turned towards the girls. "Oh, you both are so lovely. Any of these will likely work. I will make some suggestions though." The woman went towards a rack along the back wall and pulled out a costume that made Samira almost fall over. The dress was rather skimpy and would show way too much leg if worn. Its style was that of what would typically be found on a princess that came from ancient desert civilizations. "You, my dear, have an exotic look about you. I think dressing as a bold and desirable princess from a land in the desert country would suit you." She handed the outfit to Samira, who had a look of absolute horror on her face.

The woman then turned to Aino and placed a gentle hand on her cheek. "You, sweetie, I get the impression that you are the timid sort of person. Very attractive for our customers. I think after today we will have many returning just to see you. A shame you will only be here for one day." She turned and then went for a costume rack at left side of the room. "I have two suggestions for you." Two outfits were then pulled out. "I suggest a fairy type of outfit. Just imagine it. You walking to a customer that is ready to order and them falling out of their seats when you act all timid and want to hide. Or the classic maid outfit. It may be a bit overdone but I think you will pull it off very nicely. The customers will so thrilled when you shyly call them master. Or or!"

"That is enough...suggestions. We ask to be left alone to decide and change," Samira interrupted the woman, not so much as being rude as she was wanting to save Aino's life. Too much suggestion and imagery could probably lead the girl to run out the door at any moment. Not to mention she didn't want the woman to get any more ideas for her own costumes.

Aino wasn’t even able to answer Samira’s question in time before the door opened right up in front of Samira. It gave the new Lamia Scale member a heart attack, she didn’t expect such a thing. She didn’t expect the woman to be rather cheerful either. She wondered what Samira was thinking about this whole confrontation, because Aino certainly didn’t like it. She was trembling in fact, not knowing what to do at all. The moment the woman mentioned the costumes, Aino turned behind her and waved to Kazuno goodbye. That was when she was rudely pushed into the cafe, that was when Aino’s chest became tighter.

Inside the cafe, Aino was keeping one of her hands on her chest whilst she looked around, it was decorated nice and kept clean to say the least. Maybe it wasn’t going to be so bad here after all. She just had to keep her cool and handle herself well and she will do fine… or so she hoped anyway.

After being pushed into the costume room, Aino looked around. While all the costumes were extremely pretty, Aino wasn’t exactly sure what to pick. It probably didn’t help with the fact that the woman was pushing suggestions to the lovely ladies that decided to help out at the cafe. Her heart because to beat faster, her breathing became that much harder. While she appreciated the comments, she just couldn’t handle it anymore. The pain quickly became unbearable… Luckily, the woman smiled and left, she seemed quite excited for someone who had to be told to halt what she was suggesting.

The moment she left and closed the door behind her, Aino dropped herself onto the floor in order to give herself a few minutes to breathe.

“I… apologise.” The female started. “I am not used to these kind of environments, while I am trying to be brave, it is sometimes too much for me. Nobody else can help it though.”

Unusually, the panic attack was taking longer than usual. This worried Aino, and so prolonged the effects of the panic attack. Her chest would only continue to writhe in pain. She had to calm down somehow, but unusually, she didn’t know how to calm down, even as she was taking deep breaths in a bid to regulate her breathing cycle.

“S-Sorry… c-can you find a maid costume for me??” Aino asked, her soft voice mixing in with some stuttering. “I would myself, b-but I can’t…”

The magic of Teamwork Empty Re: The magic of Teamwork

Post by Samira Nassar 17th September 2017, 12:23 pm

Samira had let out a sigh of relief as soon as the dressing lady had left the room. No more silly suggestions that would be considered embarrassing. Her fellow guild member seemed to not be able to handle it though as she fell to the floor, having one of her infamous panic attacks she had heard about. Putting the awful choice of clothing back on the rack, Samira turned and walked over to Aino before kneeling down. She wasn't used to giving someone comfort, but she understood having a fear and the results that came from it. Aino's just happened to be the fear of being in such social environments where strangers existed as well as unexpected outcomes. Luckily for the other woman Samira was the patient sort and allowed her time to recover herself as she began to gently run her hand along Aino's back in a soothing manner. "You are doing well," Samira said honestly, somewhat impressed that Aino had made it that far without running away. "Take your time. There is no need to rush yourself. If I must, I will cover for you if any problems transpire while we are here."

As soon as she spoke those words the summoner stood and walked over to a rack in search of a main outfit for her companion. It was an easy pick since it was suggested earlier but Samira had her doubts on it being the best choice. Would Aino be able to get through the day calling everyone master whenever she spoke to them? Who really knew. She didn't particularly know her well but perhaps after the first customer the girl would find it easier. Her hands skimmed through the many costume outfits, moving each one over along the rack so she could see what was behind it. Eventually she found a more traditional black and white maid outfit that looked to be Aino's size. It was a much safer choice than some of the more...creative maid outfits. She was uncertain if some of them were even supposed to be there for they seemed more appropriate for the bedroom. "How is this one?" Samira pulled the outfit off the rack and held it up Aino to see. "It is not a very creative design, but trust me when I say that you do not want to see the other choices."

While her panic attacks can be rather common, she knew that it wouldn’t be so bad if someone had the ability to comfort and help her during the difficult times. It helped that Samira said that she was doing well. It eased her worries and anxiety, even if it was only going to be a short while. Saying that though, her chest still didn’t hold out. “S-samira, you’re so sweet, but I will be fine.” Aino bit her lower lip as she smiled softly towards her. Even with all the pain she felt, she also felt comforted, something she hasn’t felt properly in a long time.

While Samira helped out with the outfits, the female stood up, she was still slightly crouched, her back giving way slightly. Upon seeing the dress, Aino grinned at the dress and tried her best to walk over to it, albeit slowly.

“It’s so pretty, yet so simple…” The female nodded to her companion. She didn’t want to overcomplicate herself with skimpy outfits, she felt this one was best. “This is perfect.”

Slowly, but surely, her chest pain was slowly going away, her chest was loosening and her heart wasn’t beating as if was a drum being beaten on by a drummer. She felt calmer, much more secure, and it was clear that when she finally stood up straight and took the costume politely from Samira before bowing in thanks, that she was completely okay now. “The other outfits the woman pulled out really worried me.” She stated before chuckling lightly.

Looking around, the female saw a little soft spot where she could get changed and snuggled her outfit close to her stomach, as if she was hugging a hot water bottle for example. “I am going to get changed in that corner over there.” Aino explained as she toddled over to the corner and began the process of switching outfits.

Post by Samira Nassar 18th October 2017, 11:46 pm

"They certainly were a bit questionable," Samira replied with a nervous smile after she had handed the costume over to Aino. Considering there was already one Lamia Scale mage on the brink of breaking down, Samira really did not want to state that she also had some major concerns. If the costumes were stylized in such a way there was no telling what sorts of costumers the two of them were going to have to deal with. It was probably best not to bring that up for the moment. When Aino said she would go change in a different part of the room Samira gave a nod of her head to acknowledge the statement. "I will be doing the same shortly. My own costume is still undecided." She then turned and went back to focusing on the clothing racks to pick an outfit of her own.

'Hey! Turn back around! I can't see anything!'

"What could there possibly be to see? I am in a changing room, not a battlefield." Although the connection with her spirits allowed them to communicate mentally with Samira, her own replies came out vocally and could be heard by whoever was near her, making it seem as if she were talking to herself or an imaginary friend she was too old to have. She could have used mental communication as well, but using her actual voice came more natural to her and was a hard habit to kill. The consequence was looking as if she were some sort of crazy lady.

'Exactly! I want to see how hot she is under all of those clothes!'

Samira's eyebrows twitched at hearing the perverted words. Naturally she ignored the demand to turn around. Aino wouldn't have known such a spirit would have been able to see what Samira saw so there was little worry of that sort of freak out, but it was a rather sneaky thing to do and certainly not appropriate. Not to mention she doubted her current companion wanted to be stared at even by another woman. The desert princess idea was decided on since Samira did like the theme, she was just surprised at the lack of covering the costume that was originally pointed out had. One that was less horribly designed was found hidden deep within the racks, although it was still a bit skimpier than she normally would wear. At the very least it would not be as if she were wearing nothing but a bikini, and her outfit being a bit more...obvious would help Aino stand out a bit less and therefore draw less unwanted attention. The green haired woman sighed at making herself the sacrifice. She found her own corner and began to change into the costume and even added on its accessories.

Once both women were changed, the woman from before flew the door open right on queue. It was time to get the job started!

Getting changed, Aino will have a small recap about the outcome of events so far, which wasn’t a major issue. In fact, it made her focus a bit more on the task at hand. She and her partner for the day rode in on Kazuno, her turtle mount, only to feel immediately uncomfortable by the lady almost forcing her to choose slutty stuff. Luckily, Samira helped out and she was very glad for that. Helping her through her panic attack.

The moment Aino was changed, she walked over to the centre of the room and smiled softly. She was sitting comfortably in what she was wearing, she even wore a maid headband and a white ribbon to compensate for that maid look. She just hoped… that it was going to be enough for the guests to appreciate.

Once the doors began, their shifts began, and this made Aino nervous. However, Aino wanted to be brave, she inhaled and exhaled, starting to mentally prepare herself for what was to come. Biting her lower lip, she nodded.

“I’m ready… Okay… keep yourself calm Aino, all in the name of the job… everything will be okay… keep your cool…”

She would mumble them same words on repeat before looking to Samira, smiling softly and nodding. “Good luck to us!” She chuckled as she walked through. “I wonder who our first customers will be… I hope they are nice, considering what could or could not possibly happen…” She didn’t want anything extra lewd or cheesy to happen. Of course though, in the land of Fiore, nothing was as simple as Aino would like.
