    Job description:

[Gold Rush used for 100% jewel increase]

Era was a large city, with a lot of ground to cover. Having received this job Casus would have expected the job to become more trouble. But apparently this man was more simple then he thought he would be. Deeming his family the best point to start asking question as to where he might be hiding he stumbled upon the man, seeing him through the mirror as he passed the house towards the job. The man seemed to enjoy himself, playing with his young daughter and his wife. They didn't seem distressed about having a criminal in their homes. Maybe they were just enjoying the limited time they knew they had. The streets were bustling with people as it was in the middle of the afternoon and Casus couldn't decide whether this was his goal or if his intentions are still to try and escape further prosecution. Not giving the man the benefit of the doubt Casus scouted out the back of the house, and noticed there was no way of escape out of there either.

So he walked up to the front of the door and knocked. Bracing himself for a possibly hostile response Casus kept himself at the height of his senses as out of all people the man himself opened the door. Ready to take the man down at a moment notice Casus became disarmed when the man began to sigh and declare his true intentions. He realized why Casus was here to begin with, and was willing to cooperate if Casus was willing to give him some more time. Believing solving the problem without resorting towards violence, and seeing that the man is rather muscled up close and maybe even too much to handle for an old man such as himself, Casus agreed on the term that he could keep a close watch on him.

The day then proceeded with Casus staying in the corner of their living room, even though he was offered a seat or refreshments. He of course couldn't accept, having his suspicions about the situations gaining the better of him. The convict seemingly forgot all about Casus though as he kept on playing and talking with both his wife and kids. And so the day proceeded until they finished their final dinner together. Casus again decided not to participate in that occasion, much to the dismay of his stomach.

Looking at the family going on with their daily business, forgetting the man in the house was a convicted criminal, Casus began to think about how this must have been for every man in his employ with a family. He began to think on how much his men would have given in a number of situations just to live this moment. And deep down he began to develop a bit of sympathy for the man, but with that also came the realization that having tasted the bliss of the life that had been taken from him the man might turn more dangerous than before. In preparation for that Casus asked the wife of the house for something to drink after all, and as expected from a family living in their state of wealth it was a cheap tin mug, and as soon as they weren't looking he emptied the coffee that was inside into a nearby plant.

At the end of the night Cases stood up, clenching the mug in his hand, and walked towards the man, asking for his compliance in heading together with him towards the Era Prison. The man stood up, towering above Casus, and as expected Casus saw the regret in his eyes. Casus had no choice but to be ruthless, and before the man could even speak a word a hard 'clunk' could be heard throughout the room, and the man fell out flat on the floor behind him with a red mark on his head. Puffing out of both exertion and relief Casus lifted the man over his shoulder and headed out of the house, even though the man's wife was begging something and his child was crying, Casus couldn't be bothered by further sentiment, a job was a job, and this man was about to become trouble.

The walk towards the prison was silent, and gave Casus some time to think about the whole issue. Sure the man had a family, and from what he saw he was a loving father and husband, but in the end in the eyes of the law he was nothing but a criminal, and he had definitely done something wrong to end up in his situation. Not to mention he displayed how he was not above trying to get out of his punishment when push came to shove. No. Casus wasn't going to lose a night of sleep about what he did this day, and only reasserted the fact that all men turn into animals in the face of desire, whether that desire is something honorable or awful. Something he already knew, but wished was different on this foreign continent.
