The journey to Era was long and irritating for the boy as the island he traveled from gave him a one man paddle boat with an all inclusive paddle. So one can imagine the annoyance handed by this especially since the young mage had an antipathy towards water. Above him the clouds slowly drifted on, some clumping into each other and leaving faces or objects in the sky for passersby to gawp at whilst some just moved on careless. Remus had paddled and paddled away before stopping off at a few villages here and there to acquire provisions for the trip, in actuality Era was about two or three miles away from the village was last at and this came as a surprise to the swashing boy. Mere moments passed before he had arrived at the glorious town known to wizards and civilians alike: Era.

Magic. Council. Two words that should never be put together, but in this sense it was feasible considering that magic as a whole did need some rules and containment. This in fact was where the MC was housed, Remus wasn't for nor against the magic council. All in all he simply didn't care as long as it didn't involve himself or his guild mates. Looking at the crumpled sheet in his hand it was jotted down that another mage had taken up this job as well and Remus would have to meet that person within Era and set off to end the reign of hogs that occupied the area. Yes. Hogs. He wondered who the mysterious mage might be as he strolled through the town and eventually made his way to the farm's entrance, perhaps a big burling man who was adept in fire magic or a slender swift woman who used speed magic and gun magic oh what a twist that would be. The lad's eyes moved across the farm a while as he took in the luscious scenery that was given, the gate itself looked worn and eroded which didn't help to compliment the amazing healthy looking grass alongside the happy animals that either galloped, trotted or bounded along the earthen floor. "Would never catch me working in a farm" He muttered grimacing at the smell once it hit him as he silently prayed that his ally would hurry his or her ass up. The stench was damn near unbearable even for Remus who was somewhat used to bad smells, blame this on his guild members.

Lillias wanted to cry. Not really, but if she were one to shed tears so easily she was sure would've. She'd listened to her inner workaholic urging her to take on a request, despite pleas from her little brother to spend the day playing with him. Please, who would have the time to waste playing? Plus, she had spent a whole day with him just last... well, three weeks back. Or was it a little over a month ago? She figured that should be enough to sate his need for intimacy for now. She'd left the house two days back, having taken up a hog-hunting request in Era, only to realize a little while later whilst journeying to the specified rendezvous point that it was by a farm.

She had nothing against farms. Truly. They were pleasant to look at, and played a huge role in her daily meals, she knew. However, she wasn't quite sure she was ready to near them anytime soon, with one of her most recent jobs had involved cleaning an entire stable herself, and it hadn't been a simple, ordinary clean up job. The stables had been in such a bad condition, one could, quite literally, sink shin or ankle-deep into horse manure. The blonde shuddered at the memory, and wondered if the mentioned partner of hers was already there. She had hurried over as quickly as she could, but it was hard when one had a whiny little shit literally clinging to them.

She cursed mentally when she saw someone whom she assumed to be her partner waiting by the gate. Had he been waiting long? He was rather young looking, but Lillias knew better than to judge someone for their appearance. Clearing her throat, she walked up to him, smoothly extending a hand.

"Hello, you're the other one who answered the request, correct? My apologies, I came here as soon as I could - I hope you've not been waiting long. You may call me Noel." She gave a pleasant smile, though it did not reach her eyes.

[Classing the three normal posts as the strong set of Dire Boars]

Moving from his previous position Remus sat upon the dirty gate and swung his feet slowly as he sighed. Here and there the boy would hear a faint snort or neigh from the various farm animals but would think none of it and resume to his thoughts, within that a hour a fairly delicate voice made itself known as an interesting looking girl wandered up to him. The girl identified herself as Noel and brought out her hand to him, Remus smiled and pulled her hand into a hug instead. "No need for formalities, I'm Remus. Remus Aquila" The young pirate pulled away and scratched the back of his head as he looked back at the farm beside the two. "I did answer the job request yeah, but now that I'm here it's a major deterrence. I hate farm animals, and now we have to deal with some rogue Hogs. Sounds like something out of a fairy tale" He smirked and hopped over the wooden gate ushering her to follow on, with his hands in their respective pockets Remus glanced around as they walked deeper into the compound. A few broken fences, vegetable patches that were taken large chunks out of and even the cottage seemed desolate.

Another voice seemingly appeared out of nowhere from the side of the cottage, upon further inspection it belonged to a elderly male who looked like he ran the place. Equipped with dungarees, worn out boots, a farmers hat and a piece of straw. This guy was the real stereotypical deal. "I s'pose you two are here for the Hog extermination, if that's so then ya'll can get on with it. They should be here any minute now the damned scoundrels" He moved his eyes from Remus to Noel suspiciously. Behind them there were sounds of movement and loud screeches. The Dire Boars were here already?

[1 set has 5x baby boars - does that mean we have 15?]

Lillias' nose wrinkled in distaste at the sight and smell of the area, but nonetheless remained professional as her partner took her hand - until he decided to pull her in for a hug of course. It had been so unexpected that by the time the girl realised that oh god someone was touching her, he'd already let her go before she could repel him off herself. The moment she was free however, she took a great step back, a mild scowl on her face.

If it was one thing she hated more than losing, it was hugs.

"Watch yourself, Aquila," she started off in a dangerously low tone - a stark contrast to her silky smooth voice before her voice became pleasant again. "In case it slipped your mind, this is a job, not a playdate. I'll make this clear now - we are not on close terms - merely partners. I'm sure we're all capable of self-restraint, yes?" she finished slyly, smiling pleasantly with half-crescent eyes that shimmered with mirth. Satisfied with the warning she had bestowed, she carried on as if nothing had happened, her attention no longer on the boy. She eyed the surrounding farmland, taking in the damage that had likely been caused by the board and faded hints of dried blood.

Lillias resisted the urge to roll her eyes. How impudent of the farmer. They were here to help after all, a little respect would be appreciated. "Oh yes, I already see one!" she replied in an earnest manner, her gaze trained on the farmer himself. Her sarcasm went unnoticed by him, his focus having been drawn to the hoard of baby Dire Boars charging towards them from behind. She paused briefly and waited, turning on her heel to face them just as a spell circle flared to life in front of her just as the boars were just a mere few feet away from her. Cobalt eyes narrowed, and the boars were thrown backwards and barreled into each other with just as much force as they had come charging at, squealing in surprise and likely pain.

[10x of the babies and the other normal roll can be set as their momma]

The farmer's whole demeanor irritated Remus by a large degree, because of how short his fuse was the boy was debating whether or not to 'exterminate' him as well as those pesky boars. But ultimately decided against it as it would most probably cause him to lose face when he returned back to the guild. It was the creeping sound coupled with Noel's alarm that drew Remus' attention to the lot behind them, once they were sighted Remus' hands began to seep off purple wisps of void. Surprisingly one half of the group were thrown all the way off guard by cause of the girl's magic, she had barely moved and the boars had flown feet away. Questions rolled about in his mind about what kind of magic this girl possessed, was it gravitational? Air magic perhaps?

With a grin Remus waved his hands in opposite directions and within seconds a crystalline purple shaft started to form and then a three foot spiked mallet formed to create a hammer. Just then one of the dire boars jumped at Remus which subsequently caused the boy to smash the hammer in the boars' head downwards splattering a bloody mess, his eyes hungry now he chuckled slightly and leaped away from his previous position swinging the battle hammer around with perfect precision. A pair of boars attacked this time but in a two-pronged attack, the ground bounced along with them due to there mere weight. Remus looked to his left and his right weighing up a few options then came to a decision. Once the two were in close enough proximity the mage slammed the spiked weapon into the jaw of the left boar from it's jaw upwards, the right one was milliseconds away before Remus flipped up on the air still holding onto the shaft of the hammer whilst the mallet was stuck in the goop of the boar. Gravity held him there for a moment before the right boar snorted loudly hitting it's dead brethren and then Remus slowly descended putting all his body weight on the above average creature removing the sticky hammer from the deceased boar and driving it once again into the head of the one he was atop ceasing its very existence right there and then.

Hopping off cleanly Remus' eyes showed pure rage here as his chest heaved up and down surveying the area that lay before him. Two more boars still stood, wary of what became of their sisters and brothers. Both of those that were still alive and kicking screeched out in unison which didn't seem all that good, they could've been calling more. "Noel! The one on the left, quickly!" He shouted out as he clenched the shaft tightly before swinging it in a circular motion and then hurling it at the big boar on the right, surprisingly this one didn't move and was crumpled by the heavy and fast moving object.

Something was off however, there was galloping in the distance but this sounded much louder. More powerful than those prior. This had to be...Momma Boar.

Lillias smiled amusedly, having knocked down 5 boars alone with her first try, and said boars currently disorientated and climbing off one another. The runt of the group had been pinned between two of its siblings and stabbed through the sides by a set of painfully sharp tusks, whereas the remaining four got back onto their feet snorting and stamping with indignance.

As the four readied themselves and charged for another attempt, Lillias briefly glanced over out of pure curiosity (no concern at all, she assured herself) to the blue-haired male fighting alongside her, smirking when she saw that he'd dealt with the boars just as smoothly. He was holding some sort off... mass, that took the shape of a hammer. Her gaze didn't dwell long however, and her mind slid over to her own battle once more.

Pale, gossamer locks billowed out behind her as she drove her foot hard into the ground, splitting it in multiple directions with the newly altered force of her foot, cracks extending outwards around her in it as chunks and fragments of hard earth were projected into the surrounding air in a semi-circular range (she would've just let them fly everywhere in a full 360 degree round had there not been someone else around), flung in the direction of the boars. Dust was displaced and thrown into the air, momentarily providing a natural smokescreen. The boars were thrown backwards, squeaking and grunting in pain as the pieces pierced through their flesh. Combined with the impact of being club backwards, the three who had been closest to her were either killed the moment they reached the ground or dying and rendered immobile. Only one remained standing, but not unhurt. It had wounds decorating it's back and sides, with small, non-fatal fragments stuck in its flesh, but it was still mobile. And angry, if not angrier now that she had killed four of its siblings.

"Come dance with the devil, little piggy." she chortled, bending her knees and leaning forward, thrusting her arms out. The boar reared its yellows tasks, tips coated with faded, dried blood - likely from the deceased farmers - and bolted towards her, lightning fast. Lillias inhaled deeply, face set in grim determination as it trotted towards her. This would likely hurt her badly if she failed, and she hoped this would work. They had yet to find the mother - she would have to save her strength for later if she wanted to be able to take her on. Magic flowed into her hands, wide open to catch the boar's tusks. At the slightest touch of smooth bone, she tightened her grip around them, redirected the boar's charging force and flipped it backwards, grunting at the impact it made with her hands and the strength she had to use alongside the force. She could've sworn she felt her bones shatter.

Giving a final shrill cry, the boar was thrown onto its back, and it was with surprise that Lillias noticed a sixth boar charging at her back, right as she heard Remus yell for her to get it. She slammed the boar she had in her grip onto the newcomer, and heard the unmistakable sound of bones cracking - but it wasn't hers. The boars' backs collided with each other, snapping spines and bashing in each other's skulls, and with gritted teeth she allowed the momentum of the flip to pull her along, still holding on to the boar's tusks before she did a flip and let herself fall, landing with a roll to the ground behind the dead boars.

Panting from the physical exertion, she got up to her feet and dusted off dirt, noticing with well-hidden discomfort that her hands hurt whenever she tried to clench her fists. A fracture, perhaps. She had miscalculated the timing a little, but it was nothing serious.

Striding over to Remus, a smug, triumphant smirk lit her face, but the pounding of her heart from the andrenaline was soon matched by loud, heavy footsteps thundering through the forest. She looked up, in the general direction of it, pupils shrinking as a large shadowed figure burst through the thicket of trees with a deafening roar, sending birds flocking away from the nearby trees

    "Oh my god..."
