Slayers vs. Dopplegangers (Job - Jozuma|Kisame)

Jozuma made his way into Oak Town taking in the sites as he headed toward the designated meeting area for his new assignment. "Back in Oak Town again, I might stick around a little longer this time." The client requested to meet outside the Oak Inn where they will brief him in on the details. As far as Jozuma knew though, there had been a stream of murders taken place in Oak Town and the culprits have taken refuge within the Inn putting both citizens and students of Oak Town in grave danger, some have become too afraid to leave their homes. The guild was called to remedy the issue but many of the stronger mages at Hydra were too busy to take on the job so they decided to send their young demon slayer Jozuma to handle the murderers... with a little help. While Jozuma was very strong they didn't want to take any chances so another slayer, a god slayer, from Black Rose was sent to assist Jozuma in this job. Jozuma wasn't too sure about how he felt about this, up until now he only ever really trusted and went out on jobs with his own guildmates, he knew nothing about this person and it might take a little time before he felt comfortable fighting along side him/her. Jozuma is usually very kind to those he trusts and considers friends but gaining trust that tends to be an uphill battle. Still, he was willing to give this person a chance as taking this job in the first place means they at least have good intentions. 

Jozuma could now see the Oak Inn in view as well as a guard standing post a good distance away from the entrance. "He must be the one who's briefing us." As Jozuma walked towards the guard he could see another person across the way in the distance also making his way towards the guard, a young man looking slightly younger Jozuma wearing a black and white kimono. Jozuma continued making his way towards the guard.

Jozuma approached the guard, a familiar face as they had met before in previous jobs Jozuma had undertook in Oak Town. The guard, recognizing Jozuma's cloaked appearance instantly, waved and gave a warm greeting. "Jozuma! So they sent you, glad to see you in Oak Town again!" "Hi, well it didn't really take very long for me to have to come back this place is a goddamn magnet for trouble." "Haha yes but that's why we have you guild mages to clean up the mess." Jozuma let out a slight chuckle. "I guess so." Jozuma looked back across the way to see that there were now 2 people walking towards them in unison, the other was wearing jeans. Jozuma's tilted his head in a bit of confusion. The man in the jeans then punched the other man into an oak tree and then took his clothing. "Ok... That happened." Jozuma chose to just disregard what he just saw and let the day go on, the man with the pilfered clothes ran up to them. "Hi, sorry about about that."He spoke with a bright smile. "You must be from Black Rose, good you're both here, get yourselves acquainted and we'll begin the briefing." Jozuma took a very short moment to look at the young man before him. Besides the kimono he was barefoot and had silver hair, he was still holding a big smile.  Jozuma's nose perked a little as the young man gave off an odd scent, or rather a mixture of scents Jozuma couldn't exactly pin down but he chose to ignore this at least for the time being. Jozuma started with his greeting. "God Slayer huh, shall I recite the holy scripture? Hehe I'm joking, names Jozuma I'm Infinity Hydra's Demon Slayer." Jozuma held out his hand to the young man.

The young man chuckled a little bit at Jozuma's joke and shook his hand introducing himself as Kisame. Kisame punched his fist in his hand. "Alright, let's knock this shit out." "Sounds good." He definitely seemed like the energetic hopefully he won't get too ahead of himself. Kisame sat down on a nearby stone and and Jozuma turned towards the guard. "Alright man fill us in." "Okay, as of late there have been a stream of murders throughout Oak Town. We have come to refer the the perpetrators as "Dopplegangers" due to their unusual ability to copy the appearance of people, they can literally be anyone. We have located their hideout to be the Oak Inn behind us but our attempts to bring justice to these criminals have failed which is why we call on you guild mages. There is also another issue, the Dopplegangers have recently kidnapped a few young lords and are currently holding them hostage so we need you to rescue them." Jozuma gave a thumbs up. "Got it consider it done. Kisame let's go bash some heads in!" Kisame got up raring to fight and the two approached the front door of the Oak Inn, Jozuma turned to Kisame. "The code word is bacon." Jozuma saw that he had a confused look. "I'll repeat myself, the code word is bacon; it is likely the dopplegangers will try to copy both of us which will make things confusing so you take on the yous and I'll take on the mes when there is one of each of us left we say the code word so we know its actually us. Please do remember it or my fist will be placed firmly in your gut." Jozuma was serious about this too, he wasn't going to risk getting stabbed in the back by a fake. The two approached the front door. "Anyways, let the fun begin." Jozuma kicks open the door. "Knock knock ya bastards!" The main hall was completely empty, the guard spoke up from the distance. "They're hiding in the basement area!" "Oh, thanks!" Jozuma walked with Kisame to the basement door, his attempt at looking cool thwarted. On the way to the basement door Jozuma finally spoke up about the odd scent Kisame gave off as he finally started to pin it down. "You know you smell funny, like a demon but also not. How much of you is human?" Jozuma felt that this might be a sensitive question so he tried to lighten the mood a bit. "Don't be shy I'll start, between my magic and the little guy in my head I'm about 80 maybe 75% human." Jozuma listened to Kisame's reply as they approached the door to the basement. At this point voices could be heard from behind the old oak door. "Okay, let's try this again." Jozuma, making his second attempt at looking cool, kicked open the basement door. "Knock knock ya bastards!" What lied behind the door was a maze of doors and corridors along with a large group of dopplegangers staring at them. The battle between slayers and dopplegangers began.

Jozuma's saw Kisame wipe out a huge bunch of the doppelgangers with a blast of water, though a few few of them were still standing having blocked the brunt of the damage with their shields. As an Ice Demon Slayer, Jozuma was getting pumped finding out that their magics were perfectly compatible. "Water, oh this going to be awesome!" A chill blew through the room as Jozuma was built up his magic. "Now my turn." In an instant Jozuma shattered his body into shards of ice and reformed behind the dopplegangers with the shields, he then took a huge breath. "Ice Demon Rage!" Jozuma unleashed a huge blast of of bluish magical energy that hit the group shield wielding dopplegangers dead on before they could react. They were still standing but the water on their armor and shields from Kisame's last attack froze sticking them to the ground and making them unable to move. "Can't move eh? That's unfortunate." Jozuma formed jagged, curved blades all over his arms, legs, hands, and back. "Makes this easier though." Jozuma kicked into a burst of speed through the group of dopplegangers slashing them apart as went back and forth 5 times. All of the ice coated dopplegangers fell to the ground. Jozuma smiled and gave Kisame a thumbs up. "Haha that was awesome mate we're going to get along just fine! Now let's keep going we gotta clear this place out." The two walked through the maze of corridors and doors that was the basement, the scene they made at the entrance must have caused a lot of commotion as Jozuma could hear a lot of voices a footsteps through the walls. After a few empty rooms a door near them slammed open a they could hear someone yell out "Intruders, get them!"

Jozuma nodded in agreement with Kisame'sJozuma statement. "Mhm." Jozuma then  stomped the ground and then a small pillar of ice shot out diagonally from the ground of the ground and propelled him towards the dopplegangers. During his flight towards them he unleashed another Ice Demon Rage, the shieldless dopplegangers got the worst brunt of the blast. Jozuma was now above them and he then took out a sword of ice and swung it. "Icicle wave!" The sword swing shot out a wave of icicles that impailed many of the of the dopplegangers. The icicles did a good bit of damage and froze all of them solid, a few of them changed shape to look like Jozuma before they got hit but being frozen was a dead give away of who they actually were. Jozuma landed in the middle of the frozen group of dopplegangers and then ran out of the group punching a few of them down as he made his way out, only a few of the shield wielding dopplegangers remained. He got out of the pack, leaned against the wall and signaled Kisame. "They won't be going anywhere hit em hard." Almost as soon as he said that though more enemies came from the other side of the corridor behind Kisame. "Dammit."

Jozuma tried to call out the enemies behind Kisame but it was too late as the knife wielding dopplegangers landing a good punch on him and sending him against the wall. Luckily his tough partner recovered quickly and teleported away to make his counter attack. Kisame took in I big breath. "Oh no." Jozuma knew what was coming and he was dead center in it's range. Jozuma quickly jumped up as Kisame sent out a blast of water that flooded the corridor. The water went under Jozuma flowing like water rapids and washing away the dopplegangers on both sides of the corridor. The water was still flowing on Jozuma's descent so he froze it as his feet made contact making a nice and clean landing. The corridor now had a somewhat pretty looking frozen stream throughout. Kisame has proven to be a very strong partner, possibly the strongest Jozuma has teamed up with up to this point, and Jozuma knew he would do well to steer clear of his massive attacks. Jozuma knew Kisame didn't mean to attack in his direction but that didn't keep him from poking a little fun. "You know I'm still here, you know a person in this general location to whom it's advisable not to throw water at 15m/s." Jozuma heard footsteps coming down the hallway near him. "And they're still coming jeez these people don't know how to let up." A group of dopplegangers appeared near Jozuma in the exact same formation as the ones before them, a group of knife wielding dopplegangers accompanied by shield wielding ones behind them, they're stench filled the area. These dopplegangers seemed a little more prepared though as they all looked exactly like Jozuma or Kisame wielding knives and shields. Jozuma was starting to enjoy himself but wanted to end this quickly so he prepared a big attack but first he wanted Kisame to get into a safe area. Jozuma pointed at a door near the center of the corridor. "Kisame, I need you to go into that room and slam the door shut, trust me I'll meet with you in there shortly." Jozuma waited a short moment to give Kisame a head start but didn't look back to see if he actually did it. Jozuma stomped his foot on the ground as the dopplegangers approached him. "Lost Blizzard." A huge dense blizzard kicked up in the corridor and since the space was narrow rather than an open area the blizzard flooded into the most of the corridors and open rooms, if Kisame followed Jozuma's instructions he would be safe. Lost Blizzard is one of Jozuma's currently stronger spells, it's so powerful and dense that it cuts off all senses and perception while making those caught in it move at a snails pace as the cold slowly wears or even kills them. This spell is incredibly deadly and difficult to escape unless you're Jozuma who can just walk through it like a casual stroll with senses unhindered. Jozuma walked down the corridor over the small mounds of ice and towards the door. He quickly opened the door, some snow from the blizzard blew in, walked in and shut the door behind him as he said the code word. "Bacon. Hehe they are not getting out of that one."

Jozuma walked into the room to Kisame, thankfully he went into the room, as well as a group of dopplegangers splayed out across the floor. Their bodies as well as the beds in the room were soaked, apparently Kisame must have gave them a very rude awakening. "Well things seemed to have happened here." They were started to get up and looked very angry, at the same time more shield wielding dopplegangers were coming in from the door on the other side of the room, they looked tired and were covered in snow probably due to the blizzard still blowing strong outside. The room was staring to get a little cramped so Jozuma decided to attack before the ones on the floor decided to get their shields Jozuma fired another Ice Demon Rage across the room that finished off the ones on the floor and damaged some of the newcomers though some of them reacted quickly and absorbed it with their shields. Jozuma then shattered his body and reforming above them, after doing so he breathed out a gust of cold air that froze the air in front of him. "CRACK!" Jozuma then punched the air sending what looked liked a 2m wide crack in the air rippling through it at 15m/s. Upon contact with the dopplegangers the crack ruptured their body and shattered their armor. Jozuma landed and kicked a few of them down as he backed away from them. Now only 4 of them remained a victory seemed once again assured but judging how nonstop these dopplegangers have been it wasn't over just yet.

OOC: We're almost at bosses so I'm going to start keeping track of health and damage I didn't before because using my iPad made it difficult to properly post what I was doing and keeping track of stuff, we were also having a bit of fun with the minions, but I'm going to start as of now since we're approaching boss territory.
