Description:
Atsu manifests Himiko as a temporary summon. Being a former master swordsman, Himiko manifests with her own version of Shisutamagiri, but it cannot change its blade like the real version in Atsu's possession nor does it give a weapon damage bonus to her attacks. Her vitals are all similar to a summon spell of the same rank and she can use one passive and one active ability, the latter of which can only be used twice per thread. Unlike with his normal summons, however, Atsu cannot allow Himiko to share his vessel since she was not originally a spirit trapped in purgatory.

Himiko's personality is quite cold towards most people. The only exception is her little brother Atsu who she babies and coddles over. Otherwise, she is every bit the war hero she was in life.

As she finds her place in Purgatory, Himiko has found that she has slight control over the element of umbral ice. Not truly natural ice, but a frigid, hard, dark substance comprised of crystallized spiritual energy.

Himiko can move at a speed rank equal to the rank of the weapon.

Passive Ability:
Sisterly Love - Himiko, while fully manifested, protects her little brother with a haze of umbral ice. This barrier slows incoming attacks, reducing damage that Atsu takes by 15% (+5% every rank).

Active Ability:
Biting Cold - Himiko holds her sword towards the sky and a sheet of cold grows outward from her feet, covering the ground in a 10 meter (+5 meters every rank) radius in dark umbral ice. While inside the area, anyone who isn't Himiko (including Atsu and his other summons) will find it more difficult to keep their footing while she enjoys a 15% (+5% every rank) speed boost while inside the area. The area lasts until she returns to the sword. Since Himiko isn't a proper Purgatory spirit, she has limited control over her element and this ability can only be used twice per thread.

At B Rank and higher Himiko can meld into the floor of umbral ice and move about it freely without worry of being damaged.

Strengths:

• Her abilities not actually being ice, cannot be affected by ice-based magic and does not have the weaknesses or resistances of ice.
  

Weaknesses:

• Since Himiko IS the blade of Shisutamagiri, any damage she suffers while manifested is translated as damage done to the sword. If she loses all her HP before returning to the sword, the sword's blade cannot be manifested for 2 posts as she recovers from the damage.
  
  
• Her umbral ice is actually dark spiritual energy, as such, it suffers from the weaknesses of the darkness element and can be affected by dark-based magic.
  
  
• The second ability of the sword cannot be used while Himiko is manifested.

Description:
Atsu transforms the blade into a dark haze of umbral ice. The haze is comprised of thousands of tiny floating motes of umbral energy that, like the blade itself, can harden and soften at will. Atsu can control this haze at will and can use it to attack (hardening the motes into tiny shards for an assault of minuscule cuts) or to obscure (cover his opponent in the cloud of haze to obscure their vision). The collection of motes is amorphous and when collected reaches 5 meters (+1 meter per rank) in diameter, but can stretch out to up to 15 (+3 meters per rank) feet in length and can travel in a 15 meter (+3 meters per rank) radius around Atsu.

Strengths:

• The ability is an extension of the sword's versatility and essentially turns it into a long-ranged weapon.
  

Weaknesses:

• Despite being in a different form, the haze is still the sword's blade. As such, any sort of area attack or spell of the light element will damage it and be counted as damage against the sword.
  
  
• While active, Himiko cannot enter her fully manifested form until the ability is over.
