Aian was relieved when Ember released the men into the theater. He walked around the hole to the stage, sitting down on the edge after he hoisted himself up. Finally having a break, he was exhausted with the threat now removed. But it wasn't his physical stamina, it was his mental stress. With the constant threat and worry of hostages being injured, the threat of his partners dying out on him, and what had happened in the basement threw his mind into a overlaying loop. As much as he was now relieved that everything would be okay; he was four times more confused about himself wondering what had actually caused him to change for a few moments in the basement. He looked up to watch the men help pull Ryan from the rubble, who had lost consciousness and was in serious need of repair with damages being done to him from the burns, the stab wounds, and his mental damage from the Dark Mage's pharamone magic. Aian hoped he would be okay, till a dark whisper whisked into his ears:
"Look at all the damage you had done. Think about how that could have been re-established to your enemies...You were BORN to destroy." Aian looked around to see all the damage that was done to the theater: The broken balcony which was caused by his destroying of the support beams to cause it to topple down. He glanced at the whole that he caused by knocking the golem onto the weakened ground. And then he remembered his earlier roar that had caused foundation damage to the theater. It was then he new this theater would have to be torn down, and rebuilt back up. This would cause the town and probably the guild a lot of money. He would have to offer to help rebuild the theater to the best of his abilities.
It was then that he noticed Mari had walked up to him, covered in bandages; but at least she was safe and on her road to recovery. "Looks like you finished him off." She spoke in a happy tone before her face saddened a bit and turned away trying not to look him directly in the eye. He knew what she was going to say simply by looking at her face. It was the same one he would give Reiki, his guild partner, whenever Kamuy was unleashed.
"About what happened before....I didn't mean to go that far. I guess I could sense that I was a little under yours and the rest of the teams league so I thought a little push would help better the odds in fighting, but it kinda got out of control. Please don't think anything bad of me, nor my guild for my decision."She stated apologetically scratching the back of her head, before looking around the room again trying to get rid of her nervousness of her "gift". Scratching at one of her bandages on her ribs she looked back toward Aian, feeling a bit better then before.
"I won't..." Aian responded, looking at Mari with her same saddened look. "I spent my time training strictly. I am more physically built than most others...But you are not out of my league. You are indeed strong Mari, you simply have not found out how yet...But do not undermine yourself; both of us are in a league beyond the others that we worked with...You took out one of the Dark Mages on your own...I almost died as well against mine...We both went to extreme lengths. You are indeed in my level, I just got lucky and was able to rejuvenate some energy. If I had not done that, I would have been stuck in the same mess...we might have both died if I did not get that lucky by that dark mage..." Aian looked to his palm, noticing the impalement still there when he caught the beast's blade. He looked to her again and smiled. "If we ever get the chance, I am sure training is not out of the question for us both. I only know of my partner's Dragon Slayer power, I don't know how to judge yours yet. It might help you unlock your potential." he stated, before looking back out to the teams continuing to wrap up the situation.
"I hope we can work together again some time soon. I'ma go and wait for the boat in the towns port that heads back to Hargeon Town and head to Mangolia from there. If you ever need any help you know where to find me." She said holding out her right hand, bandaged to the tip of her elbow, and with a smile on her face.
"Yeah, I wish you good luck with your guild; and hope we can work together again someday." He responded. He then watched as she left the theater to go back to her guild. It was nice to knew he had someone in the guild to count on as a friend.
After she had left, he walked out to the commander, hoping she had obtained her reward. "The Dark Mages have been neutralized and the hostages are safe." He stated.
"Good. We will send your guild your reward upon completion of our own tasks. You can expect them soon."
Aian nodded, he turned toward the theater again. "Do you happen to know where the owner of this establishment is?" Aian had the intention of helping to rebuild the Theater before returning to the guild; figuring out when the date for reconstruction was. This, of course, he would suggest to do free of charge.
