A heavy storm was still battering against the landscape of Mysterious Canyon trying it’s very best to destroy everything in its path but yet seeming to lack something it required to do so because not a single rock had fallen yet. Everything living that might have been residing in or near the ravine’s? Had since taken cover from the torrential rains and occasional lightning flashes. Conditions where not fit for any man or beast. Anyone who decided to go out with the current risky weather conditions? Could easily be called an idiot because the more it rained the greater the risk of rocks falling, a landslide crushing someone was becoming a real possibility. The skies seemed to have no concern for the danger they were creating, continuing to sob hysterically and drown the earth below, one could easily see how the walls of the chasm had begun to get water logged and maybe lose some of the integrity. If one were to be dramatic? They would say this storm had made Mysterious Canyon a domino ready to be knocked over, an old building ready to grumble if a fly landed on it. Yet in this downpour, in this perilous area two existed were out and about, walking side by side in the never ending sheets pouring from the skies. However it was hard to make our who the figures were due to the pitch blackness induced by the storm, visibility was basically nothing. The sound of the rain drops falling into impact with the ground surrounding the two who trudged through the storm, it was just so deafening! For anyone to be out in this storm, even if they were not enduring it all on there own, it was just the definition of depressing. Nothing could survive long in such drastic conditions, yet two lone figures decided to try it anyways, against any better judgement they may have.
If one could break through the rain enough to see the shadowy figures walking through the gulf? It would be quickly noted that neither existence was in itself too shadowy, in fact both living beings were quite brightly pastel colored. The first figure was a wolf far taller than most and built enough to pull heavy loads, golden eyes without pupils contrasting against his light icy blue pelt. The second figure looked even less sinister considering her long hair was colored in a shade associated with gentleness and love, made in the imagine of pink to match her light rose optics. However the real reason the second figure walking through the rain could be no threat to anyone? Would be the fact she was actually only an eight year old child! Yet this begged the question of what the little girl was doing out in this storm alone with only her pet wolf for company. What kind of human being let a little child wander off on her helpless lonesome into a fierce storm? If the child was human she would no doubt become seriously ill from this adventure, if it was even an adventure in the first place. The wolf was large enough to protect her from predators but it would be unable to shield her from the elements to prevent the flu or hypothermia from setting in. Luckily the child was actually unlikely to ever catch either of those things in her life time, due to the constitution of her body. Yet her body made from the earth itself presented another much more serious risk when she was subjected to water for so long like this, drown beneath the tempest.
Frey’s body was comprised entirely of soil except for the black blood that flowed through it and when dirt became too water logged, it started to fall apart. Anyone who was wise? Would know this weather could eventually be the death of her due to her body's inability to remain intact when subject to this sort of condition. However right now the little girls serious expression suggested something much more pressing than the rain was corrupting her small delicate head, sneaking its way into every crevice and crack that it could gain access to, trying to tear her apart from the inside. Maybe it was because she knew someone else was suffering right now and if anyone in the entire world held the power to end their tears, it was her, but she didn’t know how she could do it just that he was upset over her for no reason. Raijin thought she was dead, that something had happened between mongolia and when she got to Savage Skull, he thought she was lying about being Frey, but there was no way either of those things were true! Rune knew who she was, looking down at her manicured claws the child knew it was still her hands that those things were attached to. Inhaling her own changed scent? She still knew it was her own, because she had been in her own body when the purification energy her father had passed onto her finally ran out and vanished, releasing her truer form, this one. Yet the one person she wished that she was able to convince of this, had not been there at the time and Frey knew she would not believe someone if they told her story back to her. If she was in someone else’s shoes? The child would think herself a cruel fibber as well. She was in her own black combat boots though, dressed in her own dress and she held some sort of power in this situation, power she was still not quite sure how to wield.
Eventually the turmoil in her head became too much and upon finding a crevice in the side of the canyon she told Silver to stay here, forming her wings and taking off before he could protest. Flying while waterlogged? Was true misery, her body was in agony as if the ashes that made her where trying to pull apart at the seams but were unable to do so for some reason. She was incapable of staying out in this storm for much longer, but she had already decided what she was going to do so she couldn’t go back now it would be a shame on her name! Rune had to find Raijin and convince him of who she was, stop the green eyed male from thinking he had failed her when she was perfectly alright. After about an hour of flying she had managed to pick up faint traces of his scent through the downpour and spotted the opening of a cave dimly through the curtain of rain. If he was going to anywhere, it might as well be in the cavern, and even if it would be a wrong guess, she would be given a few seconds to dry off before she went back out.
The child struck gold when she landed on her tip toes at the mouth of the cave, her large grey wings tucking into her back. One look at the girl told the story of her having been out in the rain this whole time, her dress had become see through and her hair was matted to her body. Frey’s pink optics looked kind of upset as she stared at the male she had spent hours in this storm searching for. “You Can’t Tell Frey That She Isn’t Frey!” she shouted it, so if he had not known she was there right away, he did now, her head shaking as she spoke, a tiny glare looking back up. “Frey knows who Frey is, and she will make you believe it……. Somehow.” the second shout sounded a lot weaker, especially near the end where she had both fists near her mouth and was looking off to the side, as if she had no idea how she was going to convince him. The truth was? She really did have no clue how she was going to do this, she had just been so, she felt something for the fact he was so torn up over her and felt like she should be able to help somehow, but she had no idea how she could help. Returning to her purified form to proof it? Was not something she was capable of on her own, and she didn’t even really know if it could happen to begin with. “Somehow.” the world echoed once more as she glanced at the ground, eyes fixating on her boots, realizing she had just put herself in danger. Distressed people? Could become violent ones, and she was not in front of one, offering a fixation point for any anger he held. The child only wanted to help him, but the girl was beginning to realize that it might not as simple as she originally plotted. How was she supposed to convince him that she was Frey when she could barely even speak past the weight of emotion now. She needed some sort of miracle, she needed her purified form somehow.
