Primary Magic: Rose Make Magic
Secondary Magic: (None)
Caster or Holder: Caster
Description:
In using Rose Make, a caster creates objects out of roses and their thorny bushes. The spells, depending on the emotion of the caster, change color, creating a large diversity of appearances for Rose Make spells. All spells of this magic, as they are being cast, cause the space the creations will take up to glow bright red, regardless of the caster's emotions. As a maker magic, the types of spells vary depending on the mage. All spells of this magic are cast by saying "Rose Make: (name of spell)"
Corliss uses her magic excessively, creating large, sprawling plants in elaborate shapes. Taking after her wild nature, the blooms are large and the thorns are sharp. As she doesn't normally think ahead, most of her spells are short and offensive in nature. Most of the time, Corliss's roses are blood red. Rose slayers may eat the plants created, since they are just magic roses.
Strengths:
- Diversity- Despite Corliss primarily focusing on offensive spells, Rose Make Magic has a wide variety of spells, ranging from tools, weapons, defenses, to direct attacks on opponents.
- Water Magic- The plant creations soak up water naturally.
- Unpredictable- As a maker magic, Rose Make is characterized by the imagination of the user, and is hard to predict as a result.
Weaknesses:
- Lightning Magic- Electricity has a tendency to fry the plant.
- Poison Magic- Toxins trump living things.
- Time- Once the duration of a spell has ended, the plant withers and dies, leaving it open to being burned or otherwise harming caster.
Lineage: Marksman's Aim
Unique Abilities:
- Petal Fall- Corliss can temporarily disperse herself into rose petals. While in this state Corliss is incapable of casting spells or communicating.
- Rose Hips- By touching a natural rosebush, Corliss can heal herself (MINOR healing, 5% per post at C rank)
- Perfume Bloom- Corliss can manipulate the thoughts of weak and normal level NPCs within three meters of her for three posts, thanks to the scent of roses that surrounds her. This does not automatically guarantee that an NPC will do whatever she says, merely that they are highly suggestible thanks to her roses.
- Reminiscence- Any flower she touches transforms into a rose. (Note that this doesn't make a natural rosebush, so they cannot be used to heal.)
