Name: Marschal Leigh
Rank: Legendary +
Species: Half Panther Demon
Type: Combat Pet
Description: Marschal stands at six foot seven to six foot eight (Cause footwear), he isn’t exactly the most lightly built man and is clearly a fighter shown by some of the scars on his body. Most of the time this long white haired, cat-eared, golden eyed man is dressed in black pants and a red jacket, if his girlfriend has not stolen said jacket. Marschal treats Jiyu like the world, but he is very possessive of her and entirely not worried about killing for her if he must. Unless you're close to him? It’s hard to get even a few words out of this man, but one might want to be wary if they can get him to talk because he’ll give you every detail of what he speaks to you of. In spite of his quiet observant nature, when it’s called for he can be just as snarky and fiery as his girlfriend is, if not worse than Jiyu is. Most of the time however? Marschal is simply sitting somewhere reading a good book or drinking, and likely Jiyu curled up against him.
Non Combat Abilities:
Purrfect Treatment: Features in the saliva of animals contain chemicals that promote the process of wounds clotting and scabbing. Considering Marschal is a half breed and those have increased healing capabilities as well? If he licks someone’s wounds especially while purring he can cause the wound to close completely in rather quick fashion depending on the size of it. However, this clearly isn’t usable in combat as no one if going to give you the time to utilize this. Thus it’s only usable to seal someone’s wounds after combat and not in combat healing. (The most this does hp wise is if there is some sort of bleeding DOT going on AFTER combat is over it’s shut down if it’s from wounds reasonably sized because clearly, this ability stops bleeding.) This is pretty much exclusively for fluff scene’s because it can be incredibly cute.

Abilities:
- Spoiler:
Name: Feline Hook
Rank: A
Type: Melee Enhancement/Buff
Duration: 4 posts
Cooldown: 5 posts
Description: Marschal is a demon cat, well half demon but the fact still remains he is not human and thus has inhuman traits. This spell is less of a spell and more of controlling his demonic strength more finely than normal causing it to deal melee damage that is equal to the “spells” rank in damage instead of normal melee damage. However since this is still melee damage and thus subject to the same weakness, etc, it also benefits from whatever strength buffs he may have or such. After the first strike, he simply gains 45% to his normal melee strikes for the remaining duration since he may still be focusing his energy for stronger strikes.
Strengths:
♠ In the hands of someone skilled Melee strikes can be devastating to an enemy.
♠ Greatly increases the strength of Marschal’s first strike.
Weaknesses:
♠ Can not affect immaterial things like ghosts since the damage type caused by this move is still melee/physical damage.
♠ If his opponent is swifter he might well miss striking them and thus do no damage.
♠ Being in close combat as spells like this require puts the user at additional risk compared to ranged spells or such.
♠ If Marschal’s strike is dodged then it opens the possibility for an enemy to land a devastating counter attack.
♠ Since this is melee if he accidently hits his allies with the strike then they would receive the damage from it.
- Spoiler:
Name: Sucker Slash
Rank: B
Type: Melee Enhancement/Buff
Duration: 3 posts
Cooldown: 4 posts
Description: Cats are full of tricks and tend to strike whatever prey they happened to be hunting when its back is turned, entirely unsuspecting. This move is Marschal utilizing the natural fleet and light-footed nature of his part feline blood to take an enemy entirely by surprise thus largely increasing the damage of his first melee strike to spell ranked damage for this ability. Afterward he gains a passive 35% buff to each melee strike he lands within 3 posts since the enemy will likely have a hard time collecting themselves after being taken by surprise.
Strengths:
♠ If one manages to take an enemy by surprise it’s likely that afterward it will be easier to land normal strikes since the enemies brain needs to process what happened.
♠ Gives a decent boost to the damage of Marschal’s melee strikes after the initial hit allowing him to take down enemies easier.
♠ The initial hit also does a decent amount of damage.
Weaknesses:
♠ Since this one relies largely on taking an enemy by surprise if that doesn’t happen it really isn’t any more than a normal melee strike.
♠ Close combat fighting opens the user up to more bodily damage as opposed to range combat.
♠ An enemy may start fighting back harder realizing the user tried to take them by surprise out of rage or caution.
♠ It’s possible to miss one’s aim and do no damage whatsoever, or accidently hit someone you did not intend to.
♠ Being melee damage type this does not affect things not affected by physical damage.
