Name: Marschal Leigh
Gender: Male
Age: Eighteen
Birthday: November 26th
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Special Characteristics: A single scar resides down the length of his spinal cord, starting at the base of the shoulders, down to the beginning of his tailbone. On his left cheek rests a scar that hooks from the corner of his mouth and stops at the outer corner of his eye. His left pectoral has a large burn mark that envelops most of the muscle and looks to be new, though has unknown origins. He is now missing most of his left arm, due to Lexa Grimoire ripping it off; however, half of the upper part remains. Most notable features are sharp, feline canines, sharp claws, and large, furry, catlike ears where a human's would be.
Personality: Marschal isn't much of one to talk, let alone be that one who's surrounded by a large group of friends. He would much rather sit in a room, by himself, and engorge himself in a book about something interesting. Always one to get lost in his daydreams or scramble around, looking for a new adventure to suffice his boredom. More specifically, he's the type of guy who just sits around observing people as they walk by: a people watcher. That person who sits in the back of the classroom because they have no friends or have no motivation to interact with people to make friends. This is, more than likely, talking about Marschal because he isn't one to find that motivation to make friends. Instead, he keeps to himself, stuffing his face into a book or drawing, and choosing to speak only when spoken to.
Once he starts talking though, he can't stop. It's like a curse was placed on him that he needs to spill out every possible detail. At the same time, his choice of words can make him a manipulative person, though irrational at best. He might say something that isn't true, but will sound true enough that people may just believe him. His words are like spreading butter on bread: smooth, gliding over the tongue, but never tasting quite right. Marschal's look is deceiving, his words captivating his audience; easy for him to weave stories that sound true, but aren't. That doesn't quite mean that he can talk his way out of fighting, though he can surely win himself a verbal fight. . . or so he hopes. His intellectual prowess happens to even baffle himself. How he can so easily manipulate people with just words?
Imagine looking around, seeing nothing there, and the next time around there's a person sitting there, watching you. That is Marschal, as creepy as that may sound. He finds enjoyment in observing people and learning about them. Sometimes, he can learn a lot about someone by just watching how they do things, how they walk and talk. The beauty of that is he never has to even get close to someone to learn their deepest, darkest secrets. Well, not necessarily their deepest, darkest secrets, but most of the basic information one can observe without interacting. Half of the time, he may be forced to involve himself with people, though he tends to keep his distance from them. If he does get himself involved with people, it's usually on mutual terms and doesn't last longer than needed.
In spite of his quietness, Marschal is known to be a sarcastic guy, especially if he's in a really bad mood. Once he's in that type of mood, there will be an onslaught of sarcastic words and phrases being thrown around. Most importantly, when he gets like this, he isn't much of a joy to be around, unless one is entertained by his sarcasm toward others. His sarcasm is mainly a defense against the stupidity of the people around, though they may not always be dumb. There will just be moments when he wishes they were smarter than they were, and choose to do the right things. In which, if they don't, he'll get sarcastic with them, throw a few meaningless sentences at them and be on his way. Better yet, his sarcasm might even start fights, in which he may not even be able to end himself and have to let someone else take care of.
If someone can get Marschal talking, they'll come to realize, that if he isn't a bad mood, he's quite friendly. He's talkative, and will likely start sharing as much information he finds intriguing as possible with someone. Not because he thinks they're daft, but because he finds the information useful and interesting and that they should know it. He thinks that the more one knows, the more it will help them in life, so he's just trying to be helpful. Sometimes, his friendliness can get him into trouble, either because he's taken advantage of or. . . no mostly because he's taken advantage of, that's it. His friendliness makes him really dumb at times, but luckily for him, he doesn't chat much during battles. He doesn't have a reason to show off and taunt, and he's really only friendly if he sees someone being ignored by others or his acquaintances manage to get him talking.
A majority of the time, Marschal's apathetic toward the situation, or a person that he doesn't really like. However, if something interests him, then that is a whole other story; one that's a bit harder to explain. For now though, we'll just say that if it doesn't interest him, he doesn't want to be concerned or bothered by it. An example of him being apathetic would be if a guild member of his was injured that he didn't like. He wouldn't care what happened to them, and definitely wouldn't be interested in getting them better. In fact, he would much rather leave them to rot and die than to help them out, unless he's bound by a contract. When it comes to that, then he'll be forced to help the person out, but still not necessarily care or be concerned with them.
Now, Marschal can tell a good joke here and there, but most of the time, they're cliche jokes or something very stupid. Why people find those jokes funny baffles him, but hey, if it gets him the gold, then he'll take what's given. When given the opportunity and his brain works right, he might actually come up with an original joke that's truly funny. Though his humorousness is really just teasing his close acquaintances and pulling pranks on unsuspecting people. That usually gets a crack out of people, which always puts a smile on the man's face, seeing people happy. But his pranks can also go a little too far; far in the sense that people might get angry at him and want revenge. That's where he has to drawn the line with his teasing and pranks, and making sure no one gets offended or hurt.
Decision making is extremely hard for Marschal because he doesn't want to choose the wrong choice and get his acquaintances hurt. More importantly, he has it ingrained in his head that he'll be forever made fun of if he does something wrong. This is why he's an indecisive guy, and tends to avoid having to choose between things unless it's something easy. For example, he'll happy choose between foods if he knows that it won't kill anyone with him or himself. But if it comes to choosing between life or death, he doesn't necessarily want to mess up in the decision making. That's why he leaves those hard decisions to others who are apparently smarter than him, and who he trusts. Because why would he put his trust into someone he doesn't know to make important decisions for him?
If he's given the chance, he will happily draw things; mainly for himself or for the aesthetic pleasure, but for others as well. Sometimes, he will draw or paint gifts for people, especially if he's tight on money and can't buy them a gift. What he enjoys the most, is going to places that have famous paintings and analyzing them for pure enjoyment. Most people might find him weird for liking art, but it doesn't bother him to be seen as strange for that. He loves how things can be captured artistically by others, and depicted in different ways because of their different minds. There is never a dull moment that passes by where Marschal isn't wondering what makes a painting so unique. And for one, he absolutely enjoys being able to paint important parts of his life's history to keep them forever.
Asocial doesn't necessarily mean Marschal is afraid of interacting with others, it just means he doesn't enjoy it. He can be hostile toward those he doesn't know because he's scared of what they might know about him and do with that information. It's a defense mechanism he has learned over the years, that if he's hostile enough to strangers, they'll leave him alone. It doesn't really work with his enemies, but when he's pushed to the limits and has nothing else to give, he'll try to intimidate them away. They might just laugh at his feeble attempts, but what else would he be able to do if he has nothing left? Hostility, for him, really only works if he doesn't like the person, or the person can be easily scared or intimidated. So, him being asocial is basically nonexistent, though pops up from time to time when the scenario calls for.

Teasing/Joking
Though he doesn't look like it, Marschal enjoys teasing people and even joking around with them, no matter how far it goes.
Dislikes:
Marshmallows
The fluffy, white puff balls come as a distaste for Marschal, and this may be due to his nickname of Marshmallow.
Sour Candy
Despite being sour, himself, Marschal is not one to like the tangy taste of sour candies. May be due to the fact he is allergic to them.
Motivations:
Sleep
Ah yes. . . sleep. The one thing that teenagers were deprived of in their teenage years, and now, this has become his motivation.
Obtaining knowledge
What's not a great motivation for a reader than to obtain as much knowledge as possible? Marschal is always searching for something more to learn.
Fears:
Deciding on things
Yes, this plays a huge factor in his personality, simply because he is scared of being forced to decide important things he knows he will mess up big time.
Death
Marschal has been terrified of dying ever since he was little and there is a long story behind why that is.
General Appearance
Height: 6'9"
Weight: 190 lbs
Hair: White and long, reaching down to the back of his knees, with bangs hanging close to his eyes.
Eyes: Gold
Skin Tone: Fair
Appearance: Marschal is a young, tall man with skin that isn't as near as white, like snow, but close to it, making him fair-skinned. He's muscular, very much like a jock in the typical high school movies, though without the lack of knowledge. A light pink scar runs down the center of his back, along his spine, like an incision a doctor would make on someone with scoliosis. Another scar hooks itself from the left corner of his mouth up to the outer corner of his eye, a much darker, older pink. Resting neatly on his left pectoral is a burn mark, a threatening, bright pink, like it was just freshly made upon him. No left arm either, ripped off by the infamous Lexa Grimoire, though half of the upper part still remains there. Though he's tall, he isn't much taller than the average male, standing around six feet, seven inches at the most.
The structure of his face befuddles most, as the way it was made makes him appear no younger than an adolescent boy, give or take that he still is one. He has a slightly chiseled jawline, squared out to look more broad than what it was naturally meant to look like. A nose that's thin at the end, but widens out toward the bridge of it, and thins back down at the very top. Eyes that are large in a sense they are long, but narrowed in a sense of their width, comparatively similar to an Asian's. But Marschal's eyes are a magnificent gold, glittering orbs with specks of lighter gold resting in the myriad of shades. His lips are thin and stretched out; however, are only contained in a relaxed, straight line of expressionless emotion. Thick, black eyebrows settle above his eyes and thin out at the edges, matching the knee-length, black hair he has.
As for clothing, he happens to wear a lot of skin-tight shirts, that act more like Underarmour than anything else. Those are typically overlaid with an unbuttoned tee-shirt of a darker or lighter color, unless he's wearing a white tee-shirt. The sleeves of the unbuttoned shirt are unrolled at times, though are more commonly seen rolled up to the elbow on him. Followed up with cargo trousers, usually in camouflage or darker colors, such as dark blue or even black. His outfit is then topped off with Adidas, most likely in a dark color as well, typically a deep blue to match his pants at least. Marschal will mostly only wear a watch or a band of some sort on his right wrist as an accessory, as he doesn't much like dressing up. This is what his normal outfit usually consists of, unless he's feeling up to having a completely different look altogether.

Likes:
- Painting
- This is simply because he enjoys capturing the moments in life that are important to him or the most beautiful. It's spontaneous, of course.
Dislikes:
- Seriousness
- With all due respect, he is serious, himself, but absolutely hates it when people are being serious while he's joking, or they simply don't understand his jokes.
Motivations:
- Keeping his distance from people
- Marschal is fearful of getting close to others, and this is due to the fact that he had lost his mother at a young age, who he held dearly to his heart.
Fears:
- Forgetting things
- Sadly, he's prone to easily forgetting things, though it might not be a massive part of his personality. Mainly, he just fears forgetting something important.
