    Job Info:

    I am fighting
    For My Future

An irony. There was no other way to describe the job he had been given. He had always hated Chef WIlliam Dorvald. He thought that he represented the pinnacle of societies despicableness. Dorvald was well known, accomplished, but worst of all had a ridiculous amount of hubris. While he had never met the man, Blitz was sure he was a prideful pig whenever he read stories about him in the paper. “Chef William Dorvald wins again!”, bah what blasphemy! But now he could be sure of that pride. No one who was humble would ever stoop so low as to ask a dark guild to take his rivals fudge recipe. Poor Mrs. Chesterfield likely didn’t even think that she was a threat.
Dorvald disagreed though. That twisted brain of his somehow turned her sweet one story house into a witch’s den. Actually, the place was quite nice on the inside. Really, a shinning example of why the area is called “Peace Village”. It’s time to disturb that concept.

Blitz walked around her kitchen, scanning for any sign of a recipe anywhere in the room. There were ingredients strewn about, but no list of them. The client demanded that there be a list. He wondered if he should just write down what he say on the table when he heard a crashing sound. He spun his head around to see an elderly woman with her hands over her mouth, and a smashed plate with cookies all over the floor. At that moment an idea popped into Blitz’s head. ”Hey lady, give me your recipe for fudge.” Under normal circumstances, the woman might have tried to trick him. Maybe she’d give him the wrong recipe, maybe she would tell him to wait where he was and call the Rune Knights. But Blitz would never have this problem. He was able to change his words into the most pleasant things in other people's minds. The words melted into lyrics, and eventually the person who he was talking to could be made to perform any action he wanted them to, including handing over her precious recipe.

As she walked back into her room, and started to fiddle with something in her closet, Blitz started to play with a few ideas to make the mission more interesting. Sneaking into her home invisibly and charming the woman surely would not be enough fun. Maybe he would find some guy to torture on the way home? Or maybe he’d kill the woman after she gave him the recipe? If she died, then suspicion would arise about whether someone wanted to take her out. The winners could be investigated, and then Peace Village wouldn’t be so peaceful after all. What a pleasant thought, he could turn this job into something afterall.
The woman walked out of her room once more, stepping on the broken plate like it wasn’t even there, and handed him a small book with a picture of a snake on it. He began to flip through the pages rapidly. He only needed one recipe, the one assigned for fudge. But she had thirteen! Who needs thirteen different recipes for fudge? He looked up at the woman, but she had a look in her eyes like she was becoming conscious again. The enchantment was breaking, he likely had time for only one more command, so he phrased himself shortly and concisely. ”Which page is the fudge you were using for the contest this year on.”
The woman’s mouth seemed to resist saying the words. She deeply cared about this competition, and obviously spent time perfected her fudge. But to Blitz, all she was was another member of the damned society. She clearly was blessed by them, and loved by them for all of her faults. The image of a kindly grandmother, baking delicious home cooked meals. ”What a repulsive thought.” he thought as she mouthed the number seventy-six.

”Thank you for your cooperation,” he said with a satisfied grin on his face as he stabbed a kunai into her chest. The good Chef would not need to know about this. It would be a lovely surprise to all involved that the little miss Chesterfield had met such an unfortunate ending. Chef William Dorvuld would soon fall under chief suspicion of hiring an assassin when a kindly servant would step forward about him hiring a Dark guild for some sort of job. The details he did not know, but the connection would be a rampant one. No one would know that the very servant had met the same unfortunate ending just days prior. You see, after collecting payment from Dorvuld, he went into his manor, and assassinated one of his butlers. Using his perception magic, he posed as the very servant and went to file a report about Dorvuld to the Rune Knights. Latter, they would find he had turned up dead, and connect the dots very soon.

All of this amused Blitz very well, and he found himself sleeping very well that night in the home of Miss Chesterfields neighbor, her son. He had resolved to bed with the very child of who he just killed.
