The New Arrival

Rubbing his head ever so slightly, Ardere stopped mid step atop the grand staircase that led up the mountain to his guild hall, Infinity Hydra. As of late, he had found himself in an inescapable myriad of dark mage or beast related problems. While the Fire King was one of the more involved guild masters, as of late he had been quite occupied. Yare yare daze...it's only been a couple of weeks and I feel like I've been gone a year. Loosening the straps on his extravagant red and gold trimmed armor, he stretched his arms a bit. Groaning slightly, it wasn't until now that he could rest up and relax his muscles. Constantly roaming the country and fighting got exhausting even for someone with his enhanced stamina. But now, he was home. I suppose it's time I say hi. I wonder if they even noticed I was gone. Tossing his pack over his broad shoulder, the fire mage finished ascending the seemingly endless staircase to reach the guild hall, surrounded by the city of Terra Ignis. Entering the hall, he looked around at the scattered guild members. Good to be back. He wondered how his Ace and daughter had handled the situation. He left them in charge while he was gone. But knowing them, they had run off somewhere as well. 

Tossing his bag to the side, Ardere rushed to the bar, passing the people standing in the middle of the guild hall. Pouring himself a large cup of sake, he gulped it down. After pouring another cup, he noticed two of the men standing in the hall were newbies. One of them looked like the description he had received of Kyrin, the other, he did not recognize. Perhaps this person had just wandered into the hall. Unstrapping his sword from his waist and removing his white cloak, only armor was left. Walking over to the two young mages slowly, he gave a casual bow. Welcome to the guild friend. Kyrin, is it? Nice to meet you. Turning to the one he had not heard of, the guild master stroked his own chin for a moment. And how might I help you? His voice was powerful, but there was a calm, laid back demeanor about him, accompanied by his slightly faded Midian (japanese) accent. Ardere's flickering orange eyes were fixed on this newcomer, a humbled friendly smile backing it up.
