8 p.m.
The manager was thinking of closing early, saying that it remains empty most of the time and he does close early but stays in to see if anyone would still wish to buy anything. He told Haia she could claim her reward now but just as he finished his sentence. A man came in.
The wind seemed to die.
He was huge, not in muscle, but in fat. His chest sagged over his pot belly and the shirt seemed to be a bit too small. He picked his pig nose and wiped it on his shirt. He looks at Haia and the manager and glares at them with his beady eyes. He sat down, the seat making an audible groan. The manager gulped and whispered into Haia's ear.
"He is what cosplay café calls the King!" He said, hiding his despair. "Just do what he wants, I'll stop him from getting too far without offending him!" The manager then rushes to the kitchen. Haia braveky approaches the King and bows in greeting. The King snorts, his eyes fixed on Haia's bust. Haia then hands him the menu and his hand touches Haia's. If it was not the fact she had nerves of steel, she would immediately back off and slap the man. But she smiles and waits. Then she heard the menu drop on the floor. She looks at the King and bends her knees and picks it up and brushes it with her sleeves before handing it back.
8:15 p.m.
Time seems to move slowly, the King had ordered alot, the manager said he ordered more than the shop's rental. He puts a white cloth around his greasy neck and picked his acne. He started chewing down on his food. He then looks at Haia.
"What are you suppose to be?" He asked, food scraps flying about as he talks.
"An archer," Haia answered. The King snorted and his belly seems to jiggle like jelly.
"Then shoot this strawberry, while it is on your manager's head!" The King laughed, it sounded like a hog chortling with a vulcan doing fart jokes. He tossed Haia a strawberry, she grabs it and sees he just plucked one out from the strawberry shortcake. The manager was shaking, but Haia gives him a wink and looks at the King.
"How about I shoot this while the lights are closed and it is in mid air?" Haia suggested, and the King was pleased with the idea. The manager turned off the lights as Haia grabs Orion and an arrow. She takes the arrow head off. Light seems to come in around Haia, trails of light gathering at her feet as she throws the strawberry into the air, she listened. And the arrow flies.
The wind whistle and it was over. The strawberry's leaf was stuck to the wall, by a long arrow, the red berry hanging unscathed. The King and the manager looked shocked as Haia picked the strawberry and throws it back on to the cake where it belonged. The King then gropes Haia's and Haia looks at with the King.
"Sir... that was not the nicest thing to do..." She said innocently and the King chortled.
