Job Location: Cursed Lands - Fat Monsterland
Job Description:
The Titan has awoken. It had been sleeping for over 10 years, when the job requested, but no one found the Titan. Though now, it has awoken and it want's to walk... . It really has no bad intentions, but at the same time, the Titan doesn't care for anything he steps on, be it people, buildings or animals.
It has to be stopped, or it's mindless walking will only leave destruction in it's wake. The being seems to be followed by multiple smaller creatures that pose a threat as well. Though they seem to be interested in food more than attacking you, just like the Titan. But if gotten too close they will attack you.
The Titan was last seen in the Cursed Lands, in Fat Monsterland. The Titan will be visible to everyone in a mile radius, as it's size is staggering. But just a reminder, the Titan is so massive, it may just ignore your attacks in the beginning. Do not let it fool you, it isn't a dumb mindless thing, it may be even smarter than you.
Though there is another way. If you can talk to him, you may be able to convince him of stopping. This can only be done with getting close to his ears, as otherwise he won't be able to hear you. If you do talk to it and say the right words, it will consider you it's friends and will do as you ask, but before, it will offer you a special drink.
This gives you two choices, to either do as asked and kill it or befriend it. The choice is yours.
Enemies:
Weak: Fat Zombie x10. The size of a regular human, though completely obese. They were only shorts and walk slowly. They are fairly easy for an S or A ranked mage. The only thing that they really do is try to grab you and bite you. They always move in a group, so if you do get caught, they can do some damage. They go down in 4 hits of B-rank damage or 2 hits of A-rank damage. Though they may be ignored, considering how slow they are. But defeating them is still useful.
Normal: Abomination x6. They are 10 feet tall and incredibly wide, almost 5 feet. They have a very special characteristic. Their body seems to have been sown together of various body parts, a few specimens seem to even have 2 heads or 3 arms. They run as fast as a regular human, though they don't seem to look where they are going and usually hit trees or rocks or the Titan. They consistently say: '' We do! '' No one seems to know why. They go down in 4 A-rank hits.
Strong: The Fat Werewolves x4. They were regular Werewolves once, but after getting a lot of easy food, they did turn a little obese. This has made them slow mowing, but at the same time they are still dangerous. If they catch you, which they may easily do, as to even being slower than regular werewolves they move faster than humans still. They don't use anything special, but will just try to bite and claw you. They go down in 6 A-rank hits.
Boss: The Titan. A massive being, reaching heights of over 9000 feet, well exactly 9001 feet. The Titan is fairly fat to the point of weighing at 100 tons or 220000 pounds. It is extremely slow moving but due to it's size it still travels a fair amount in a single step. It has massive arms and legs. It can't use any magic, but just a swat from the hands of the Titan, will deal triple S-rank damage. If he manages to step on you it does triple S-rank damage as well. And if you get close to the face he may sound out a huge gust of wind, sending you flying. The gust is so powerful that just the push does S-rank damage.
Now there is two ways to defeat this boss. It is to either take it down, with 30 A-rank hits or 15 S-rank hits. With this method the first 5 S-rank hits seem to do nothing, he won't even pull his attention towards you. But when he has received enough damage of 5 S-rank hits he will try to attack you. When only 5 S-rank hits are remaining he will enter a rage state, causing him to move faster and to precisely target you.
The other way to defeat him is to talk him out of waking up and walking around. This can only be done when getting close to the ear of the Titan, as then he can hear you. But if any damage has been done to him, this way won't work. After you have befriended the titan and made him calm down, he will bring you to the place he slept and give you a gift of sorts, a special brew. The Titan Brew.
To encounter the Titan, the thread must have lasted for 25 posts or you have to have rolled the dice.

Today was a fast moving sort of day. Elyx had to do inventory for his guild meaning he had to check up on all of the items to make sure that they were where they were to be. It was a boring task, but then Ignite came and tried to take some jewels. The both of them ended up fighting for a little bit about it before he eventually just locked down her flames and forced her to leave the scene before he actually does something. And so she gave in, knowing that there was no way she could raid anything without having her body torn up in the process. Seems like she was the general, but still the jewel loving being that she was. He was not going to have her steal things for herself though… Not from his guild. They came first before anything else. With that, he would then get a letter from the army that they were going out to gather some materials to get weapons, and if Elyx would allow them to do that. The Guild Master had no problem with that, but he had to guard the borders to make sure that nothing would happen to Phoenix Island in the process. With that done, he ended up getting in a bit of trouble with some who wanted to try to find the guild vault of his guild. More thieves, and they were reliant on weapons since they had no mana to use. Therefore, he had to make sure to use Quatros armor. They tried to pierce him in the heart, only for their blades to slip off as if they were laced with oil at the tip. How nice. But they were not going to go too far with that sort of attitude and reliance on such petty things. Therefore, he had to blow them away using bellows, which nearly ripped them open from the inside out. That would have left a bad message if he had done that, but he had to hold back a lot to make sure they were left on stretchers rather than lacrima that put them six feet under. The last thing that the council needed to hear was how he ended up putting people in their graves because they were trespassing. They were starting a fight, but they had no evidence of that, and they were not able to believe it, even if they wanted to. What a nice judging system there was in Fiore, Elyx could have not been any more proud. While he did have some influence, it did bother him that there was not enough to prevent something like that and still be able to explain his way out of it. Without evidence though, words were hollow, that was just how things worked in the lands. Could he try to change that? Well considering the king had the final word, it would definitely be a successful idea… But he would need a reason. Not even favor would make the king just go along with his wishes. At the end of the day, Elyx was just a servant, he was not the king himself. It was fine, serving him, so there was no real reason to complain anyways. The next thing that the Reiaki needed to do was check out the mail. And he did just that, to get a 10 year job request. Not a 100 year one, just a 10 year one, which meant he probably will have it done within a few hours. It was true, considering the 100 year ones tend to not take too much of his time. It was beautiful, since they paid so many jewels. In this case though, it seemed to offer something more than that. As he would continue to read the rest of the job, he would notice that it was not all that it was meant to be. First, the jewels were at an all time low for the type of job that it was. But it did have an easy opponent as well. Well, that was not too easy to claim, since it was all on paper. And he had enough chaos for today. It was about as much as he could handle before feeling a vein pop in his head. It was getting annoying, all of the big enemies. He had to take care of a storm king, by eating it up. How nice, and what a heartwarming message that the Reiaki was sending out to his fellow guild members by doing such a thing. It was not really killing, but that did not mean it was the best idea either. Plus, he did feel a little bit stronger when he took out the power like the pulp of the honey suckle taste that it left behind. Him eating up the wind was weird to others, because they did not know the true taste. Breathing it and eating it were different things. And honestly, every meal was a finer one than real food in his opinion. But his lerale conscious would tell him to eat real food for real events rather than the air. He can’t make himself look sloppy in front of others, he did not want to pull a rude manner from others to himself. While not many people in Fiore that he met seemed to care about that sort of thing… It seemed like he needed to do it so that same conscious would just shut up. It was depressing, he even felt himself whimper one time because he was unable to do it. But he met some good people in the process, and so it was worth it in the end. But he was also able to understand Ven’s hunger for fire. And it was more than just understandable, he was able to use the flames to fuel the wind he had, and amplify Ignite’s flames before sending them over to her. She had not been around for a while though, so he was unable to do it. Being an S rank back at Black Rose, he was able to understand her. It was a much better idea to get away from his guild and make a living at the time. He was feeling like the other guild members were able to give him a fun time, and despite getting in a lot of trouble with them, they were all able to laugh it off. If given the chance to redo it, he would not take it back. They were all so valueable to him, and he would still hang out with them today. There were few in his own that he hung around a lot, but the ones that he did hang around were very nice. One of them ended up being his girlfriend while he was there, and soon, marriage. What a beautiful time tha would be. So Ven can meet anyone that she wanted to, he did not want to hold her in chains and force her to interact with those that she can claim to be hers. While they were a family, they were also free to do what they want whenever they wanted. Mostly. Just as long as they did not murder without any real reason, they should all be good. Then again, he has seen surprises in the past, and he can’t just let them go by. They were unwritten rules, and things that just made sense. If someone tried to steal from him before then taking away business from the guild, they are likely going to get kicked out. Why? They were doing a lot of damage by trying to harm the trading of the guild. Trying being the keyword. All of it had to be done on purpose before the heavy infliction of punishment can be executed. Either being exile or Virgo, they were both going to be brutal, in equal weight to what they might have done to other beings in the process of their sins. Was it a bad mentality? Getting even? It depends, but the Lerale’s did not think of it to be wrong. If anything, that was how they were able to execute justice, which is why he thought no differently.
What did that have to do with anything? Well the taks was to take down a titan, a giant being that was able to destroy walls of the cities with just simply a few hits. Melee attacks only as far as he was concerned, meaning he was not going to be taking any damage for the fight. But that did not mean that he was going to just roll around and watch all of the destruction in the city occur. The goal was to protect before the titan can actually enter the area. This sounded surprisingly familiar, but that did not mean that he understood what was going on. First off, he was going to have to bring the Golden Phoenix army to make sure that nothing reckless were to happen. Next, he needed to consider another thing that was going to make things annoying. There were those on the dark side that were tyring to lead them towards the next targets. Basically, the titan is not alone, and it is being lead like a puppet to destroy anything in it’s path. Those unfortunate enough to face it end up in a damning path of destruction as the dark mages are going to try to take it down as well. They have been doing well, meaning that the jewels being offered were strong. According to the job… They would rather have it dead. It can be alive, but many attempts have been tried, and it was not going to calm down. It was better to have it dead and the dark mages that are controlling it would flee. They have noticed that without the giant, they were useless on their own until they could find another being that they would like to use as a puppet. That was good news, because all he would have to do is find the source of the chaos and make sure to put an end to it. That sounded easy enough… sounding being the keyword though. In all honesty, it must have been harder. The Rune Knights seemed to be on the scene already, but they could merely stall, hence why he got the letter in the first place. None of his guild members need to come. Only the army and himself are needed. Ignite was most likely not going to come for obviously petty reasons, and he was not going to bother her for such. And so he would continue to press forward with a half smile as he began to pace towards the tube of his private office. This was a waterslide sort of tube, though there was no water in it. It travelled through the ocean as it launched the body of the Guild Master into the air and on the top of the mountain.
