Shade was muttering softly to himself as he walked. The requip mage was in the middle of a horde of people as he tried to get to the library that was in Oak town. Too many people... all crowding around him like a swarm of bees, a busy, humming crowd. People... they tended to annoy him. Doing such stupid, meaningless things all the time... Causing outbursts because of meaningless emotions... He hated it. But with a sigh he kept walking, fixing the scarf about his neck as he did so. He had come here to Oak town because he had heard it had an amazing library, full of lore of all kinds.

Nova was exhausted. The journey from Golden Phoenix to Oak Town was filled with more human interaction than they would have liked- plus it was entirely too loud for their tastes-, and their supply of books had failed to last the duration. It wasn’t that Nova hated people, just that extended communication tended to become draining, and they had no book to bury their nose in and avoid the overly enthusiastic passerby who wanted to engage them in conversation. Thankfully, it was this lack of reading material that brought the mage to Oak Town in the first place; they intended to purchase a good number of writings on astronomy and mythology, in hopes of discovering more about their magic. But first, the enby had to pay a visit to the local library- where was that again? Pulling a small pouch of dried fruits from their bag, the green-haired mage absently munched on the sweets as they searched for the library, unwilling to ask directions, but completely lost in the unfamiliar territory. |

Shade nearly bumped into the enby as he continued walking through Oak Town, causing him to look up in annoyance. But then he saw that the person that he had nearly bumped into looked rather lost and confused. He supposed he could help somebody, just this once.
"You seem lost. What's the matter?" Asked the young man as he looked at them. He remained nearly expressionless, obviously he couldn't care less one way or the other. But, this person seemed lost so he may as well help.
