    The Flora Empty The Flora

    the flora
    Secondary Magic: N/a
    Caster or Holder: Caster
Plant demons are an uncommon species of demon that are well-known for their ability to manipulate the flora of the planets they live on. Because they are so attuned to nature, they are often not very limited in what their magic is capable of allowing them to do. In some cases, these demons become so attuned to their environment that they become one with the nature, itself, and even gain aspects of the nature. If this becomes true to the plant demon, they are no longer considered a creature able to manipulate flora, but are the embodiment of the nature, itself. Since they have then become the embodiment of the natural world, the plant demon’s ability to manipulate plants extends to everything about the planet. They are not at all limited in what they are capable of doing in this state and are a considerable foe to go up against in battle. However, this is considerably rare and it is more common for these plant demons to appear humanoid in nature rather than floral.

Ahmoria was a plant demon that was birthed on Earthland in the hope that she would be able to restore nature back to its natural self. She grew up living in a forest off the coast of the Calm Sea, near Akane Beach, which was yet to be untouched by the human civilization. The plants there were considered her caretakers and raised her in life, showing her the ways of their living and how the ecosystem work. Slowly, she became attuned to the world around her and gained the ability to manipulate small portions of the plants around her. Her caretakers were proud of her growth as a newly birthed plant demon and believed that she would come far in life. They continued to teach her how to expand on her new-found abilities, going as far as to tell her how to utilize separate aspects of certain plants. These plants would allow for her to train with them or use them in ways that she could learn to control her abilities better.

As she grew older, her magic grew stronger and before long, she was able to not only manipulate parts of plants, but create them as well. Slowly, her attunement to nature became stronger as well and her physical self began to change and contort to that of a true plant demon. She took on aspects of the natural world around her, but more specifically aspects of the Toxicodendron radicans, or Poison Ivy. Day by day, she became more and more like the poisonous plant, itself, receiving immunity to poisons and even a poisonous excretion, herself. However, she didn’t embody the natural world as a whole, rather she focused her attention solely on the plants of nature. She became so engrossed in their lives and how they worked that she wanted nothing to do with the rest of the natural world. Her sole objective was to assure that the plants of the natural world maintained and lived happy lives until they passed on, on their own.

Over time, her abilities to manipulate plants changed from the manipulation of flowers to that of vines, wood, moss, leaves, seeds, et cetera. She can cause them to grow in size, fully mature, push them through the ground to get them to move and attack, and so on and so forth. More so, she can mutate the DNA of a plant and cause it to become more monstrous and volatile than what it had been before. In some cases, she can even revive the withered and dead plants that she comes across, restoring them to what they had been before. Neither is she limited in what she’s allowed to utilize them for, able to use them as a means of defense, offense, or support. When not in combat, her magic is bountiful, allowing for her to do as she please as long as it is not in the means of hurting another. Her magic has become known as The Flora, in which she has able to utilize the plants of the natural world to her digression.
    Strengths:

    • Versatility: The user is capable of creating, shaping, and manipulating any type of plant, so long as it is a flora known to the user. For instance, any undiscovered plants cannot be manipulated because the plant was not known to the people of Earthland or the user.
    • Utility: With the creation and manipulation of the plants, the user is given complete control over the aspects of the flora. So, if a plant were to have a poisonous effect to it, the user would be able to utilize that part of the planet individually.
    • Offensive, Defensive, and Supportive: This magic is not limited to simply being offensive, defensive, or supportive only, the user is capable of using all aspects of utility. An array of both defensive and offensive spells come with the magic, with supportive aspects mixed in as well.

    Weaknesses:

    • Opposites: Every aspect of the plants that the user manipulates will have some sort of opposite to the element that is has. For example, if the user were to utilize a plant that had a healing aspect, it can be negated by the opposite effect.
    • Plants: Unfortunately, the magic does not extend out to the manipulation of animals, so the user is stuck with only manipulating plants. However, this does not prevent them from controlling the animals through the use of the plants or effects of the plants.
    • Infertility: Areas that do not have fertile amounts of plants will cause issues for the user, as the user cannot simply pull the plant into existence. The user must have some sort of piece of the plant with them in order for them to be able to create the plant.
    • Radiation: Things that are considered harmful to the plants will, essentially, not only harm the plants, but the user as well. The only thing that the user cannot be harmed by are things that are created from the poison or venom of other things.

    soldier of chaos

    Soldier of Chaos:
Description: There was once a general whose skill in battle was unsurpassed, and his leadership demanded the respect of all his soldiers. However he craved longingly for a warrior to match his skill. Slowly, this craving turned to a corrupting desire until he was lost in his search. He challenged everyone and everything that came across his path, slaughtering his king-his soldiers- fellow generals- and soon started a massive war that spread across the continent. One by one, kingdoms fell to his might. Finally, his desire turned his men against him, where they tricked their general to being entombed and to rot for eternity. The general finally died, but his spirit lived on to possess other soldiers to finally end his craving. Every so often; a Soldier is consumed by unquestionable blood-thirst, and an immeasurable desire for carnage and war until they meet their true rival in a battle to the death.
Ability: Upon activating the lineage, the user's strength is increased (75%), as well as his endurance (50% HP) and speed (50%). They obtain a cleaving passive for their physical attacks, with a blood red aura wave emitting from whatever they are using for a weapon or hands and adds 50% more damage to their melee damage. During the duration the user falls into a complete craze attacking everything around them without any sort of mercy. There only goal is to hurt and destroy all and everything around them.
Usage: 5 posts duration with a 8 post cooldown.

    Asepsis

Due to the user's affinity with poisonous plants, the user cannot be poisoned in any way, shape, or form. Status effects, such as poison, paralysis, et cetera cannot harm the user as their body is immune to the toxins. Spells that have a poisonous effect to them or are made entirely from poison have a reduced damage against her of 25% (+5% per rank, up to H-rank). However, as she is made entirely from poison, herself, slayers of the same element as her are capable of consuming her pure poison attacks. They do not gain any boost from consuming her magic, but as a result are immune to her as she is immune to them. Things like alcohol, chemicals, venom, and poison do not affect her on a daily basis, as does radiation have no affect on her. Illnesses, such as viruses or bacterial infections, or anything related to allergens, bacteria, and toxins, do not affect her either.

    Aromatherapy

Having an affinity to the manipulation of plants allows for the user to not only control the plants, themselves, but the fragrances they emit as well. As a result, the user can generate and manipulate any type of fragrance that they so choose, so long as the fragrance is made from a plant. They are capable of utilizing the fragrance as a means of crowd control, where they can emit calming smells to induce peace in others. Different types of smells induce different types of thoughts into those that are around the user, resulting in different outcomes. The fragrance can be emitted in a diameter of fifteen (15) meters all around the user (+15 meters per rank, up to H-rank). When emitting fragrances from themselves, the user is able to manipulate the fragrance at any give time (e.g reducing the range, extending the range, et cetera). Any effects of the fragrances must have OOC permission from other played characters in order for it to affect them.

    Regrowth

As the user is not only someone who controls aspects of plants and plants, themselves, they are also a mimic of plants. Because of this, the user is capable of regenerating their health at a rate of 5% extra per two posts alongside their natural health regen. Likewise, they are also capable of regrowing parts of their body, such as if they were to lose an arm or a leg. Not only that, but alongside being able to regrow parts of their body, they're also able to restore parts of their organs. In any case, the user cannot be completely annihilated or killed off, but still receive damage as any normal being would. It takes time in order to regrow parts of their body, but the user is still able to nonetheless compared to other magi. Some cases can result in the user being able to transfer over this passive to someone else if said person is an ally and in severe danger of death.

    Dokujutsu

Due to the user’s affinity with poisonous plants, their very touch has succumbed to the effects of these wanton plants. As a result, melee hand-to-hand combat results in the user being able to deal an extra 50% in damage to any target. Everyone will receive the extra 50% in damage the user is able to deal so long as the user is using a weapon or their hands to fight. On a social level, their very touch can cause a person to feel nausea or vomiting, hindering their ability to do daily tasks. This can also affect a player's pet if the pet is in the social, but can be prevented if the user doesn't touch them. Death from the poisonous touch must be agreed upon by both parties; though NPCs and weak monsters can easily be killed by the touch. Most of this is cosmetic and does not have to affect the player unless it was agreed upon by the player of the character.

Post by Guest 2nd October 2016, 8:24 pm

    d rank
    urtica dioica

    Name: Urtica dioica: Cutting Edge
    Rank: D
    Type: Instant, Plant, Poisonous, Unholy
    Duration: Instant
    Cooldown: 2 posts
Description: Being one with nature, the user is able to summon a single given plant three (3) meters away from where they stand and manipulate one aspect of the summoned plant. The plant that the user has summoned for this spell is called Urtica dioica, typically known as Common or Stinging Nettle to the populace. They are then able to utilize the nettles that are found on the plant’s stem, pulling them off the plant and gathering them into a torrent. Once gathered, the user can fire off the nettles one by one or as a whole in order to deal 100% D-rank damage to a single target. If the nettles are fired off one by one, the user can only gather a total of twenty (20) nettles that all deal 1 HP per hit. However, each nettle is capable of supplying a paralysis effect to an opponent that deals an extra 10% in damage to the person over three (3) posts, can stack up to five (5) times, and paralyzes them for one (1) turn (stun only occurs on those of equal to or lower in rank than the spell). These nettles can only reach a distance of fifteen (15) meters from where the user stands or twelve (12) meters from where the plant rests.
    Strengths:

    • Instantaneous: An instantaneous spell that results in the cutting edge of thorns being blasted in the direction of an opponent. Effects of this spell occur on contact and it can be used shortly after having just been cast (i.e. after a two-post cooldown).
    • Paper-Thin: Leaves paper-thin cuts over a person's body that mimic the feel of a paper cut: unseen, but hurts like hell. This may cause the person to bleed or not, but while it has a tendency to hurt like a motherfucker, it doesn't add bonus damage.
    • Paralysis: One slice of a thorn can have the added effect of paralysis to a person, resulting in immunity of movement for one turn. Anyone can be affected by the paralysis and the status effect occurs the moment a thorn has pierced the opponent's skin.

    Weaknesses:

    • Immunity: Not everyone is entirely affected by the poisonous effects of this plant, rather some may have reduced damage or immunity to it. People who are either Lightning, Poison, or Plant Slayers or have magic of similar elements will always have some sort of reduced damage to the user (i.e. damage reduced by 25%).
    • Consumption: Hybrid slayers are capable of consuming the magic so long as they are both Plant and Poison slayers. So, at any given time, these type of slayers can consume the effects of the user's spell, negating any damage done to them.
    • Ineffective Paralysis: Those with an affinity to paralysis will not be affected by the status effect, resulting in not gaining the paralysis. Players that are well attuned to plant manipulation, lightning, or poison to name a few are the few who cannot be affected.
    • Plant Users: Anyone who is capable of manipulating plants are also capable of manipulating this plant and negating or redirecting its effects. So, players who are attuned to the manipulation of plants or otherwise can easily stop the effects of this spell.

    cicuta douglasii

    Name: Cicuta douglasii: Liquid Burst
    Rank: D
Type: Area of Effect, Plant, Poisonous, Unholy
    Duration: Instant
    Cooldown: 2 posts
Description: Calling forth the energy of nature around the user, the user can summon a single given plant for the duration of this spell. This plant is called Cicuta douglasii, or Water Hemlock, and is one of the most poisonous plants that scientists have run across on Earthland. Upon summoning this plant, the user is given the option to manipulate the liquid of the plant in order to poison and hurt their opponents. The flowers of the plant will begin to emit a strange aroma, alerting the opponents that something it either about to happen or is happening. Slowly, the aroma will change from simply a smell to a liquid that begins to ooze out of the plant’s stem and across the ground. Once the liquid has encompassed a fifteen (15) meter diameter around both the user and it the plant, the effects of the spell take place. A 7.5 meter diameter encompassing the user and plant is considered the epicenter of the spell and all caught inside receive 100% D-rank damage; 7.5 meters out from where the first diameter ends is considered outside of the epicenter and all those caught inside of it receive 75% of D-rank damage.
    Strengths:

    • Poisonous: This spell is purely the result of a poisonous liquid excreted from a part of the plant that results in damage. The poison's effects are instantaneous, causing excessive salivation, frothing at the mouth, nervousness, uncoordinated movements, tremors, muscular weakness, seizures, and respiratory failure.
    • Instantaneous: It happens almost instantly, blasting from a portion of the plant in the direction of a target in hope of hitting it. As a result, the opponent may not be quick enough to easily dodge the effects of the spell, receiving some sort of damage.
    • Area of Effect: Because the spell has such a large range of effect, it doesn't only affect one person at a time, but a series of people. Anyone who is caught within the aura of the plants blast will automatically receive some sort of damage, regardless of who they are.

    Weaknesses:

    • Poison Slayers: Any slayer that has the capability of consuming poison can eat the poisonous liquid that this plant exudes for extra MP regen. While it does not give a boost to their consumption ability, it does end up negating the effects of the spell.
    • Short Range: The spell only has a range of fifteen (15) meters, encompassing a small portion around where the user stands. As a result, not everyone in the area may be affected by the spell, such as if they are standing outside of the total range.
    • No Extra Damage: Not in any does the poison of the liquid deal extra damage to a target, rather it deals basic D-rank damage at all times. Because of this, the spell can be considered weak in nature and not as effective as the user may want it to be.
    • One Direction: No, the band is not being referenced here in anyway, rather it is referencing the fact that the blast only goes in one direction. It cannot extend outward anymore than fifteen (15) meters, but can extend an upwards range of fifteen (15) meters as well.

    pereskia grandifolia

    Name: Pereskia grandifolia: Spike Bomb
    Rank: D
    Type: Instant, Plant, Poisonous, Unholy
    Duration: Instant
    Cooldown: 2 posts
Description: The user is capable of calling upon the energy of nature and summoning a single given plant three (3) meters from where they stand. This plant is called Pereskia grandifolia, or Rose Cactus, and is exceptionally known for its spiked bulbs attached to its stem. When summoning this plant, the user is granted the ability to take the spiked bulbs from off of the plant and throw them at their selected target. By throwing them, the user can either throw them all at once to deal 100% D-rank damage or throw them one-by-one in which each one deals 1 HP in damage, and the user can throw twenty (20) in total. Each bulb is highly poisonous, however, and as a result, they can induce a 10% poisonous effect on an opponent for three (3) posts that can stack up to five (5) times. These bulbs can only be thrown at a distance of fifteen (15) meters from where the user stands or twelve (12) meters from where the plant rests. Because the bombs are considerably small, not all damage may be dealt to the selected target or an ally can potentially be hit.
    Strengths:

    • Small: These little spike bombs are small and come in a multitude, resulting in being able to do damage over a long range. They have sharp spikes all over their spherical shape and as a result, can stick to anything they are thrown at.
    • Long Range: Referenced earlier, because the spike bombs are small and easy to throw, they can be thrown for longer distances. Not to mention, the user can also shoot them out in a series like bullets, making landing targets much easier to hit.
    • Poisonous: Like all the other plants that the user can manipulate, these spike bombs also excrete a type of poison that deals damage. This poison is capable of dealing an extra 10% of damage over three (3 posts), resulting in 30% extra damage being dealt.

    Weaknesses:

    • Tiny: Despite being able to be thrown at a longer range, this also means that the tiny spike bombs are capable of missing. Meaning, not all damage of the spell may be dealt when these spike bombs are thrown because they can miss their target.
    • Spokes: The spokes of these spike bombs will attach to anything and at times, they may not even unhitch from what they're attached to. Because of this, they may remain stuck where they are and cannot be reused during the duration of the spell.
    • Manipulation: These spike bombs are just part of plants and can be manipulated by other plant magi in order to stop or redirect them. As a result, not all damage may be dealt as the spell is intended to deal because either a few spikes hit or didn't hit.
    • Allies: Unfortunately, the spike bombs can go all willynilly and unintentionally hurt one of the user's allies when they didn't want them to. The spike bombs will cause the ally any damage that it was intended to deal, including any status effects that it comes with.

    hippomane mancinella

    Name: Hippomane mancinella: Liquid Blast
    Rank: D
    Type: Instant, Plant, Poisonous, Unholy
    Duration: Instant
    Cooldown: 2 posts
Description: By utilizing the gift nature blessed upon the user, they can summon a single given plant three (3) meters from where they stand. As a result, the plant that is summoned is called Hippomane mancinella, or Manchineel, in whose fruit it bears is considerably poisonous. This plant allows the user to manipulate the juice of the fruit it bears to send out a blast of liquid poison in the direction of a selected target. The liquid blast is one (1) meter long and .5 meters in width and can be thrown to a range of fifteen (15) meters where the user stands or twelve (12) meters from where the plant rests. Its blast can cause 100% D-rank damage to a single given target, as well as can melt cloths off and burn the skin of the target. Because the liquid is so highly toxic, the blast alone can add a poisonous effect to the target that deals 10% of D-rank damage over five (5) posts. A splash effect can also occur, in which droplets of the liquid can bounce off of the target and induce the poison effect on other people, including allies.
    Strengths:

    • Poisonous: Most of the user's spells will contain some sort of poisonous aspect to it and as such, this spell is one of the few purely poisonous spells. When struck by this spell's effects, an opponent will receive an additional 10% of damage over five (5) posts.
    • Instantaneous: Like the rest of the user's spells, this spell is also instantaneous; its effects happening almost immediately after its cast. The liquid blast is a straightforward attack that hits a single given target, allowing for little time to execute an escape.
    • Liquid Blast: Yes, as the name foretells, this is a liquid blast. . . a blast of liquid from the mouth of the plant that is oh-so-very-poisonous. It's liquid: malleable, squishy, something that probably shouldn't be touched, and thus, something that splashes everywhere.

    Weaknesses:

    • Poison Slayers: The spell may state that it is a "plant" type spell, but in reality, the user simply summons a plant that spews out poisonous liquid. This liquid is able to be consumed by Poison Slayers of all times, as it is a pure form of poison, but do not gain any sort of boost.
    • One Directional: Again, this is not the band being referenced, rather the spell is only capable of going in one direction for a certain amount of distance. The blast cannot be manipulated in anyway to have it's direction changed; so, it is stuck going in a straight line.
    • Allies: Unfortunately, yes, this spell is capable of hurting the allies of the user because the user could potentially misfire and hit an ally instead. Allies will receive full intended damage of the spell, including the poisonous status effect that is applied after it.
    • Splatter Effect: Truly, this can be seen as both a curse and a blessing; a blessing in that it can hit more than one person with the poisonous effect. It's considered a curse in that because it splatters everywhere, chances are, it's going to hit an ally or two.

The Flora Empty Re: The Flora

Post by Guest 2nd October 2016, 8:25 pm

    c rank
    narcissus poeticus

    Name: Narcissus poeticus: Noxious Gas
    Rank: C
Type: Area of Effect, Plant, Poisonous, Unholy
    Duration: 5 posts
    Cooldown: 6 posts
Description: Blessed with the ability to summon and use any plant they so wish, the user can call forth a Narcissus poeticus three (3) meters from where they stand. With this plant now in the vicinity of where the user is, the user can manipulate the plant to let out a fragrance in the air. This fragrance can be considered extremely toxic to humans, as well as animals, inducing nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. In some cases, the fragrance can be so toxic that it causes death in whoever consumes parts of the plants or inhales too much of the smell. Those who are within thirty (30) meters of the plant will find themselves with the described side effects, as well as 75% of C-rank damage. Anyone who is within fifteen (15) meters of the plant will find themselves with the described side effects, but 100% C-rank damage. The fumes of the plant will remain for the entire duration of the spell or until the user decides to desummon the plant.
    Strengths:

    • Strange Smell: The fragrance of the plant is told to be very sweet smelling, leaving targets unsuspecting of the deadly effects of the smell. As such, the targets may believe that this plant is harmless and may even enjoy the sweet scent it expels.
    • Varied Damage: Targets will receive varying damage on where they stand in location to the plant, either receiving 75% or 100% C-rank damage. While this may seem like a hindrance, all magi receive rather large amounts of damage, making it less of a loss.
    • Everyone Is the Same: Everyone within the vicinity of the fragrance will find themselves with side effects of nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea. Yes, the unfortunate diarrhea can occur when introduced to the effects of the spell, and these side effects can affect anyone.

    Weaknesses:

    • The Higher the Rank: Higher ranked magi will not feel the effects of the spell as much as a magus that is of lower rank to the spell. For instance, higher ranking magi may not feeling nausea as much as the next one, compared to lower ranked magi.
    • Varying Damage: Damage varies on where the targets stand; some may receive full damage of the spell, others may not receive as much. Because of this spell being an area of effect, not all magi will receive the same amount of damage as the next.
    • Negation: The fragrance can easily be cleared out of the area by magi who yield wind-like spells that can blow away the smell. Likewise, any damage reversal can occur if a player can heal or reflect the spell's damage to somewhere else.
    • No Side Effects: In some cases, none of the side effects may occur while the targets take damage, leaving them unhindered for the spell’s duration. As everyone is made differently, their bodies may be prone to less side effects than what others bodies may be prone to.

    nerium oleander

    Name: Nerium oleander: Adrenaline Rush
    Rank: C
    Type: Instant Plant, Poisonous, Unholy
    Duration: Instant
    Cooldown: 2 posts
Description: The simple fragrance of this summoned plant can cause a person to feel a headrush and like they drank too much coffee. Their heart will begin to flutter at a rate faster than normal, causing dizziness, lightheadedness, et cetera from the plant’s effects. By simply breathing in this plant’s aroma causes a target to be dealt 175% C-rank damage as long as they are within thirty (30) meters of the plant. Its extra 75% damage is caused from the intoxicating aroma that is spread out from the plant’s center, which can be overly unbearable.  Users of the Flora magic are able to summon the Nerium oleander plant three (3) meters from where they stand. Allies can be affected by the fragrance of the plant, succumbing to the same effects and damage as an enemy would. In the cause of this noxious gas, poison slayers will be able to consume the gaseous creation in order to regenerate MP.
    Strengths:

    • All Are Affected: Anyone that is within thirty (30) meters of where the plant is will be affected by the strong odor that emits from the plant. It doesn't matter who is within the vicinity of the aroma, they will be affected by the deadly fragrance than not.
    • Side Effects May Last: This odor can induce an “adrenaline rush” into a person, though this adrenaline rush is far deadlier than normal. Adrenaline rushes are normally felt only when the flight or fight mode is activated, but when they appear from nowhere, they are considerably deadly.
    • Powerful: Unlike it’s other companions, this plant is capable of dealing 175% C-rank damage from the intoxicating scent alone. This scent is one not to be messed with, as dealing damage is only a small part to what this fragrance can do.

    Weaknesses:

    • Uncommon Allies: Undoubtedly, this fragrance is able to injure the user’s allies if they are caught within the aura of the plant’s odor. As the plant cannot recognize the allies from the foes of the user, it won't know who to hurt and who not to hurt.
    • Higher Ranks: Higher ranking magi may not feel the effects of plant’s aroma as much as a magus who is lower ranked than the spell. For instance, a higher ranking magi may feel less of an adrenaline rush or headache than someone of lower rank.
    • Damage Reversal: Damage from the plant’s aroma can easily be reversed by magi who are capable of healing the same amount of damage. Likewise, magi are capable of simply sidestepping outside of the plant's range of effect or reflecting or negating the spell entirely to avoid damage.
    • Lessened Side Effects: In some cases, the side effects of the plant’s aroma may not be felt at all, but opponents will still receive full damage. So, a magi who is affected by the spell not be affected by all of the side effects, such as receiving one or none.

    angraecum sesquipedale

    Name: Angraecum sesquipedale: Seeing Stars
    Rank: C
    Type: Instant, Plant, Poisonous, Unholy
    Duration: Instant
    Cooldown: 2 posts
Description: The user can call forth one of the many plants in their arsenal and summon it three (3) meters from where they stand. An Angraecum sesquipedale will appear on the grounds in front of the user can fire off a single bolt of toxic liquid. This liquid, like all other poisonous plants, are able to be consumed by Poison Slayers of any rank in order to regenerate MP. However, on any natural magus, this spell is capable of dealing 175% C-rank damage to any target within thirty (30) meters of where it stands. Targets that are struck at this fast-flying bolt will find themselves feeling rather nausea and, in some cases, vomit, as well as feeling a nervous excitement. Its bolt is able to travel at speeds of 30 m/s or lower and has devastating effects on those that it is able to strike. Unfortunately, allies are capable of being hurt by this spell if they get in the way of the bolt and do not quickly move out of the way.
    Strengths:

    • Side Effects: Magi that are affected by this spell will find themselves feeling a nervous excitement as well as vomiting or nausea. These common side effects can be a lot more devastating to magus who is caught in the midst of battle and suddenly needs to puke.
    • Regardless the Rank: Any single magi that is located within thirty (30) meters of where the plant rests will be dealt 175% C-rank damage from the bolt. Literally, any magi, it doesn't matter the rank that they are, so long as they are within the plant's limited range.
    • Limitless Side Effects: Side effects may vary from magi to magi, causing one to be more hindered than the other when struck by the bolt. The side effects, such as nausea and vomiting, are only two of the few things than can be caused by toxin poisoning.

    Weaknesses:

    • Less Effective: Higher ranking magi may not feel the effects of the spell as much as a magi who is lower ranked than the spell or at all. For instance, a higher ranking magi may only feel slight nausea and no cases of vomiting compared to a lower rank magi, who feels it all.
    • Less Damaging: Not all damage may be dealt from the bolt, as magi can heal themselves from the damage that is dealt to them. Likewise, there are those who can easily negate the spell's effects, avoiding damage that would have been caused by the spell.
    • One Directional: As the bolt only goes in a straight line, it is easy to be able to dodge the spell and avoid all damage in the end. The spell is also capable of missing its target, such as the user having a little bit of an off aim when firing the bolt.
    • No Side Effects: In some cases, the side effects may not always be felt by a magi, allowing for them to be unhindered from the spell. Take for instance the nausea side effect, people are different compared to other people, some may feel nausea, some may not.

Some cases can result in the user being able to transfer over this passive to someone else if said person is an ally and in severe danger of death.

    urtica dioica

However, each nettle is capable of supplying a paralysis effect to an opponent that deals an extra 10% in damage to the person over three (3) posts, can stack up to five (5) times, and paralyzes them for one (1) turn. These nettles can only reach a distance of fifteen (15) meters from where the user stands or twelve (12) meters from where the plant rests. Note that this spell will not paralyze anyone above this summons rank.

If this splash hits multiple people, the poison effect will be reduced to 7% per person.

Targets will also receive a 5% poison status effect on themselves that occurs for three (3) posts and cools down for five (5) posts. This can only be applied to one person at a time; so if the user is attacking more than one person, only one of them will receive the status effect. Whereas, everyone will be dealt an extra 50% in damage so long as the user is using a weapon or their hands to fight. That's a lot of HP reduction in one ability for melee. How about the 50% extra damage be applied onto opponents applies to those with the poisoned status effect. And to make sure that the poison effect stays up, the duration refreshes whenever struck by a melee attack. This would support the fact that this does a lot of damage, but that is the punishment one gets for taking the melee damage. On a social level, their very touch can cause a person to feel nausea or vomiting, hindering their ability to do daily tasks. Death from the poisonous touch must be agreed upon by both parties; though NPCs and weak monsters can easily be killed by the touch.

    c rank
    narcissus poeticus

Targets that are struck at this fast-flying bolt will find themselves feeling rather nausea and, in some cases, vomit, as well as feeling a nervous excitement Those of higher ranking than this spell can avoid this effect.. Its bolt is able to travel at speeds of 30 m/s or lower and has devastating effects on those that it is able to strike. Unfortunately, allies are capable of being hurt by this spell if they get in the way of the bolt and do not quickly move out of the way.
    Strengths:

    • Side Effects: Magi that are affected by this spell will find themselves feeling a nervous excitement as well as vomiting or nausea provided the enemy is of equal or less ranking to this spell.

    Weaknesses:

    • Less Effective: Higher ranking magi may not feel the effects of the spell as much as a magi who is lower ranked than the spell.

The 50% in damage is a damage boost to the user... I don't see what's wrong with that. The comment you made on the spell is already a part of the weakness in saying that higher ranks will have little to no feeling of the side effects, but these are just cosmetic feelings. I swear you're out to get me.

Don't overreact. I'm just grading your magic, not putting a bounty over your head. Don't make this difficult, all right? Thanks.

Anyways, let's take this step by step. Passive UA's tend to have one ability and one effect only. Yours has two, the 50% damage boost and the Poison effect. What I offered was simply you being able to put the two in one ability if you read over it again. Or if you want to hear an alternative in a much more blunt way, take off the poison effect, or take off the 50% damage.

The second part, it often makes things easier if they are put in the description. Eh, I could ask you to do it, but if you really feel it's that obvious, then okay.
