Snake amoung the Roses(Jiyu/Social)

Sol glanced around as he moved thru the city of rose garden, he had decided to revisit the city and snag a few things for his castle that he did not have, while he walked he drank some Poison Lemonade he got from a shop, most places did not have poison ingredients since most people could not eat them but here in Rose Garden he found a few places that did. Taking a sip of his lemonade and sighing a bit the slayer glanced around for any wandering mages, he was in his normal outfit with his cloak that he wore instead of his coat and fedora and kept an eye out for Black Rose Mages.

He knew that they called this place home but as long as he avoided causing trouble he might stay under their radar which was good since from what his intel told him they owned most of the town. This had been the hardest spot to plant spys in but it was well worth it.

It was very difficult for anyone to stay beyond her radar, besides for being an extremely powerful mage by this point, she was also a somewhat cautious and alert woman. Sol did not draw her interest due to any sort of suspicious towards his alignment or such. Instead? It was her nose that started leading the demoness towards the male from her place in the crowd, the heavy scent of poison invading it and beckoning to her. Bare feet scraped the ground, eyes looking around for the source of the poison she was detecting, flicking one elfin ear as she remembered once more her eye shit was basically shit and she shouldn't be using it to begin with. In the end she didn't need to see the toxin anyways, her nose was sensitive to lead her directly to it's holder, her nose saying it was in the drink, but her logic protesting the fact her sense provided.

"Hey~" there was only one thing for the mage to do in this case, talk to the man and see if she could figure out the truth. So much for him avoiding Black Rose, he'd drawn one of it's aces straight to him, because he couldn't refuse a poison punch.

Sol blinked as he took another drink of his toxic drink and heard a voice call out to him and he turned to face the woman while he kept drinking, he stared at the woman for a moment noting her scars and her scent that was a lot like a dogs and he finally spoke after a moment.”Can I help you?” he asked not trying to be rude, he wondered if she was gonna give him flack for drinking poison but he Also was on guard just in case she was a mage and would try to attack him, even if she did get close Sol hoped that he could use his curse to make her think twice but he wasn’t sure.

As he waited for her answer someone from behind the slayer bumped him by accident and cause him to spill a bit of his Lemonade and as the small splash hit a plant it caused the plant to rapidly die”Well there goes that plant” Sol mumbled as he took another drink from his cup.

Her voice was sweet as it drifted through the air, enchanting and bewitching, her gaze mischievous as she closed the distance between them. In spite of her bold, curious behavior's? This man actually secretly frightened her, just like any man if he were to attempt to further their socialization by touching her first, or even touching her after she made contact, she would change her entire attitude, men touching her just wasn't okay. Yet for now, everything was alright and she gazed at him with her eyes glinting towards the new oddity she had discovered, or the enigma she was trying unravel. Watching what happened as he spilled his beverage onto a nearby plant? She noticed her nose had been correct about the poison being in his beverage, head turning to the side slightly as her ears twitched and she righted herself. Now that she was standing straight up, her exposed midriff showed it clearly, the mark of Black Rose branded in ebony on her stomach.

"It's not everyday you find someone drinking poison." her voice was velvet as she crouched down near him, but instead of anything weird, she simply used her claws to snip the dead plant from the ground, utilizing the sharp talons to drop it into a nearby trash can. This motion? Would leave a few seconds were her canine tail was clearly visible to him, swaying lightly from side to side, not mistakable for her hair since that was pulled into two loose pony tails hanging down her back. Jiyu turned once more, shaking her hand to make sure the toxin was no longer on it. "So what kind of mage are you, or is that ability to consume something so toxic from being a poison demon or something?" he might try to escape her, but she found a new toy, a new game, if he walked away she would follow and if he tried to run she would track him.

"Also please be careful, we don't need a child accidentally consuming that or such." she laughed it slightly, puttingher hand on her left hip, finger's brushing her own jeans.

Sols eyes instantly caught the Black Rose symbol on the womans stomach and he had to fight back the urge to narrow his eyes, she was a legal mage and she was poking her nose into something she really shouldn’t be messing with but since she had not completely come out and attacked him he decided he wouldn’t provoke her but he wouldn’t give her any useful information as well.”its not everyday you find vendors that sell such a treat “ he said as he caught sight of her tail and relized she wasn’t human like him but he still was on guard incase something came up.

When she asked what kind of mage he was he froze mid drink but then he relized that his own poison eating habits were what tipped her off, he wouldn’t give her any hit about his magic but he didn’t feel any worry about revealing what he was. He took a sip of his drink calmly before he grinned at her revealing instead of normal teeth razor sharp fangs with enhanced canine teeth as well since he was a dragon slayer.”a good mage never reveals his secrets but I’m not human if that’s what your wondering” he told her keeping a bit of mystery to himself. At the mention of kids getting a hold of his drink the man shrugged “ no child is going to drink this the smell would drive them away rather quickly” he said taking another drink of the toxic liquid, to be honest to him the drink smelled delicious but he ate poison daily.

It was a very good thing he fought the urge to narrow his eyes at her stomach, because that would have instantly suggested something against black rose or legal guilds, which would mean someone who owed a debt or a dark mage. Her last encounter with a dark mage? Still left room for revenge, she needed to get back at Vlad for harming her while he fought the last time, sure he hadn't done tons of damage, but he could have warned her first, damn bastard. Oh well, she had yet to see him after they went fishing that time, so she could only slowly plot her revenge until she encountered him once more and could enact it, plus to truly make an artful revenge she would have to meet him again so she could learn more about him. Truly? She could be a frightening woman sometimes, her spite knew virtually no limits, even her own guild-mates were not safe from it, even her own boyfriend wasn't safe. Jiyu never cared if her nose belonged somewhere or not, she would place herself in whatever business she wanted involved in, strut first and ask questions later so to speak! "Well this town is an activity hub, we have to provide lots of services~" she snickered slightly, and shrugged the whole thing off with a mere flick of her ears. That was not the conversation, such part of the exchange was merely comment trading.

Her eyes were glued to the freeze, sharp canines glinting dangerously beneath her smirk as she discovered one spot she might be able to play at more if she did it right. Using the sight of his own sharp teeth, she deduced further on what type of mage or existence he had to be. one of the possibilities haunted her, demon slayer, she would have to find some way to eliminate that. A demon couldn't just walk around with something that slayed them. "Duh your not human mister toxic, mortals could never consume that amount of poison." it was a small chuckle as she took a single step closer, hands behind her back as she looked up at him. "So you want to find out what else this town has? Your word's tell your not from here, won't a local guide be so much better than wandering around getting lost?" she spoke playfully and cocked her hips as she spoke.

Jiyu was clearly a woman who knew what she was doing, every movement made to show something about her, and yet giving nothing too vital away. "What are you here for today besides poison lemonade." and she seemed able to pull back quickly, seemingly no longer interested expect for her continued presence by him. At this point she figured that if she played right, she could get the day to toy with him.

“well poison is a demons favorite treat and I’m not exception, and this place is a good place to find poison ingredients” he said telling her what he was as he finished off his drink before tossing it into a trash can before the trash in it started to smoke from the poison touching it. if the woman saw his eyes she would see they were slitted like a snakes or a dragons As the prospect of a guide sol just shrugged but smirked as she took a step and got closer.” I know a fair amount about this town but I guess a guide is ok” he said as his body gained a teal aura for a fraction of a second and the curse reached out to the dog demon and amped up her sense of pleasure, for just a second just the air around her would feel like the caresses of a hundred lovers on her body before it returned to normal.

“oh i’m sorry I’m still learning to control that” he lied smoothly with a apologetic look on his face, Sol loved to mess with people and depending on his mood depended on how he would use the curse for either pain or pleasure both could make for some fun results.”hmm well I was considering coming her for a few things I don’t have at home such as a few rare tomes and maybe a lacrima or two if you know where to find some” he asked when she questioned what he was here for. So far the slayers allegience was still hidden and he wanted to keep it that way.

He admitted it even if his confession was slightly late, compared to the speed she would have preferred, moment she initially asked the question. So he was that sort of man? Whether he knew it or not, everything he did gave the sorceress another hint as to how to interact with him to get her own way, something she was beyond used to obtaining. Eyes with large pupil for seeing well in the dark, met one's with slits, two different structures, neither of them human in almost anyway, expect for the faces they were plastered on. "Well it's two demon's than." considering she was before another demonic presence, there was no reason to hide her own 'species' so to speak. So long as the man before her was no demon slayer, she had no reason to fear him, short of him actually touching her. Touch.

       It was good she had not given him an excess of info about herself, he didn't know to surround her tail in addition to her body, so she was able to remain standing. Jiyu felt the touches, but they were less than what Sol might have expected, revealing the fact that the Mage in front of the curse user was higher rank, highly likely to be stronger than he had first taken her for. Kazehime narrowed her eyes slightly "Why do I doubt that?" how could someone be unable to control an ability like that? It could bring people to their knee's so easily! Yet she had no proof, so she clearly shrugged things off with a bell like laugh. "Just be careful with that little ability of yours." She was so nonchalant about it, despite a slight paling in her skin, considering it was a male's ability, at least he had not touched her himself. Jiyu would not give him free reign to do that again thought, if he happened to catch her tail in it the next time, that would end up damning. "i won't be so kind the next time you screw up~" it didn't bother her, Jiyu seemed entirely undisturbed by what he had done to her, despite the flush on her face and darkening in her eyes, she was able to speak clearly, smiling softly.

       "Tomes could be slightly harder, but Lacrima should be easy enough." she seemed dazed a second as she looked around, focusing more towards the ground than street signs. Even if she lived in this town for some time now? She still not a single street name, she never needed to know those sorts of things. "This way." she was confident, despite not looking up, or even really looking around. Clearly she was using some alternative to the way's people normally found their way around. "What exact types of tomes and lacrima's are you most interested in?" get the shopping started first, than she could bother him more.

Sol was surprised as how resilient the woman was to his curse but he did not show it on his face, if she was like that then she must be higher ranked then he thought still he knew if he just avoided her finding out his allegiance then he was fine.”I’ll be careful” he said simply as he made a mental note to have some of his spys learn about this woman.”as far as books go I’m looking for ones about rare plants and the dragon king festival and I’m hunting for a few communication lacrima and anything else that strikes my eye” he explained as he walked with her even though she seemed to not even focus on the street signs.

The slayer wondered just how much information he could get from the woman, he was trying to keep information from her but if he could get any useful info he would jump at the chance. Though Sol did know of another way to get the info he wanted and it involved a small red headed girl in pharoahs call but that would have to wait.

The fragile and porcelain made looking woman often shocked people with her ability to bounce back, or not be effect by magic. If he had actually touched her? Sol would not have found so much to be impressed by, but Jiyu was a specialist in magic, it was the one thing she excelled in besides for intelligence and speed. Honestly even if she found out about him being a dark mage, Sol might still be fine, Kazehime didn't so harshly care about alliances for the time being. One day it would change, likely, but for now it was what she thought of a person that mattered, what they did around her. Good." one finger twirled in her waist long hair before vanishing back to her side as she looked at the shops near her, seeming to avoid staring anywhere far from her current standing.

All of that stuff is stuff that can be found normally right? Not like a weapon or something you'd have to buy OOC? Lol.

Sol just blinked at Jiyu before he caught sight of a Lacrima shop close by and started to walk in that direction as he assumed that the dog demon would follow her, he had to be careful since he knew Basilisk Fang worked in the shadows so if any guilds knew of their movement it would be bad for the guild in general.” looks like they have a decent selection here” Sol muttered as he looked thru all the different types of lacrima. The shop had all kinds from light lacrima to communication lacrima. Sol grabbed a few communication lacrima while also snagging a vision lacrima and two light lacrima just for quick getaways.

“so how many non humans are here in Rose Garden” he asked the demon girl as he brought his items up to the register, judging by what he had learned he knew he couldn’t use his guilds dark influence to get a discount so he grumbled and pullled out a stack of jewels and slid them to the owner before he took the bag and waited for Jiyu if she was buying anything as well.

He found the lacrima seemingly quicker than the wind user did, but this was in fact not true, Jiyu knew exactly where it was sitting, she simply had to weave through people and it was much harder for her than it was for Sol! Tall people could be such jerks , he didn't even wait up as he nearly got drown by a flood of people, dipping, ducking and dancing through the crowd to avoid her small frame becoming injured. No matter how much walking annoyed her? She was not about to let the man know she could fly, if he wanted to know he could look it up later and likely find out because she often did it inside the silver moon to make things easier. However she wasn't just going to fly in front of a stranger, not so soon at least. So she had to deal with the troubles those stuck on the ground typically did.

"Most shops here tend to have a wide selection, we're a very large town and also a bit of a tourist spot." and now it even had Black Rose within it, which meant extra in flow from people who wanted to see the guild for whatever reason. Honestly it was all kinda nice. "Oh, I actually needed one of these." he went for a normal vision lacrima, however her hand went for the small cube shaped portable one's, rolling it from one hand to other, before she picked up a new light lacrima. Honestly Jiyu bought more than normal people of those, she wanted to make sure the light in her room never went out, so she changed them at least monthly. It helped with her fear of the dark should the moon and stars be blocked out for whatever reason.

"Well if it isn't miss Ace Of Hearts, seriously Jiyu how many light lacrima's does it take to light your room!" The wind user had clearly been here before, because he didn't even bother telling her the price, they exchanged an amount of jewels, which was actually significantly less than what Sol had given the man. Rather the mage had some payment plan or the shop owner was giving her deals hopping it would earn him favor with the guild, or it could be due to her at least modestly impressive rack. "I don't want to have to make midnight runs so I like having my own spare." she explained it laughing. "That guy is with you?" when she nodded, the man suddenly gave her back about half of what Sol had given him, grinning at Jiyu who laughed softly and walked away.

With her bag in tow, she aimed to give Sol back what had been given to her. Lucky boy, did get a discount after all, just not how he thought to get it. "A lot actually, but most of us are centered around the guild, thought I do a few non humans who just live normal non magical lives." she knew lots of people in passing and due to how often she needed to replace items of equipment. "Book store next right? There's a really good one beside this old fabric shop." not that she read much, but she knew which stores were good, mostly due to another interest of hers.

“that’s good places like Magnolia have pitiful selections I might have to return here again in the future” the poison dragon said as he sorted thru a few of his lacrima, he had snagged a few others but he would look at them later. At the mention of most non humans in Rose Garden being in Black Rose Sol nodded as they turned into the book store.”I only run into a few non humans from time to time and I prefer their company to humans” he explained, Sol knew something was happening to him as well, he could feel extremely powerful dragon instinct clawing its way to the surface but he kept it down. Little did he know he wouldn’t be able to hold it down forever.

As he looked about the store Sol grabbed a few books on poisons and psychology before his eyes caught one book out of the rest, it was a very dusty and old looking tome but it was still in good enough condition to be read. The son of Ballom quickly grabbed the book before he dusted it off and his eyes widens as it was not written in human tounge but in the language of the dragons which he could read very clearly.”Oi Shopkeep how much do you want for this book?” he demanded before the shopkeep thought for a moment.” 100 jewels since no one can read it its sat their for ages” he said before sol quickly passed him the money for it and the other books.

So she would be able to play around with him again, push it further sometime in the future.. That? Was kind of refreshing considering she had trouble playing her normal games right off the bat, due to the mostly well hidden fear of the  male gender, developed when she was brutalized while imprisoned for two years. Jiyu was pleased by the fact she might be able to see him again, maybe the next time she would have more of her guts, bravery and general reckless yet calculated ruthless  taunting back into it's place. Only time would reveal if that did or did not end up as the case. "Well you can swing by next time you come to see if I'm in town, but I am often gone on work." it was actually a rare day today, normally she would be off on another mission already; Fulfilling a promise she'd made, and drowning the pain she ignored.

      Jiyu really did love the scent of old book's, but at the moment being in the store seemed to unsettle her slightly. The last memories she had of reading anything that was not her mother's magic book? Such images were too closely tied to the woman's death for the child to truly enjoy reading anymore, just as she did not wear shoes and did not eat with silverware, she didn't read anything beyond that single book. "Human or non-human, doesn't really matter to me." she had been raised thinking she was human, only to find out she wasn't, why should species matter to such a woman! Plus her half sister was human, her father was and her step mother, despite running away it didn't erase the fact she had just as many paws in the human world as she did in the demonic one.

“Since I was raised by someone not human I don’t have a very good view of them even though I used to be one” Sol explained, he was being very loose when he said he didn’t have a good view of humans considering he wanted to wipe them out but he wouldn’t tell this woman that. He flipped his book open and started to read some of the contents and was surprised at what was inside. It had information on all kinds of dragons and even some dragonslayer secret techniques. Though the one thing it did have that made Sol grin was the location of rare elements that each slayer could eat that could grant them insane strength or even the ability to enter Dragon Force for a small time.

The source of Poison the book told him he could eat was a liquid called ATOM which was born from the earth and shot high into the sky gather toxins from the air before coming down, in its raw state even poison eating demons had trouble with it but it said that Poison dragons loved the stuff and would drink it raw. With a small note on the location of said liquid the slayer smirked before he closed the book.” it would appear I have a little mission I need to go on so we must part ways sadly” the green haired man said as he pocketed the book before he bowed a bit.”perhaps we will meet again miss till then please stay out of trouble” he chuckled a bit as he turned to walk away from her and waved to her as he want to find the legendary poison.
