Jiyu was a mage who had plenty of jewel burning holes in pockets she did not even have, that was kind of hard to keep a secret. When someone went on missions as often as Jiyu did, they were bound to have a few extra thousand jewel to throw around. However? The wind user actually lived very modestly, rarely using the money she managed to make from her tasks, in part because she never really wanted for much anyways and in part because she never had time to use the currency anyways. Kazehime typically went off one job and rested no more than twenty-four hours at most before going on to the next task she could pick up; Which meant that this week was an oddity. The sorceress had been home for several days this time, returning from one of her more recent tasks, suddenly not heading back out once she heard of the wedding. Even if she was very work oriented, dead set on climbing the world of magic, she knew when it was required to take a break and enjoy something! So she had been around to hear when Ruminal mentioned not having any tuxedo’s and without hesitation gotten him one alongside the dress, erm outfit, that she was wearing today. Pale diamond shaded earrings shone in her elfin ears, drawing attention to her face that lacked makeup, chin drawing down to the black choker she wore, arm bands matching it right beneath her shoulders her arms being finished off by wrist long black gloves. Jiyu had clearly taken time getting ready today, it was evident from two things. Firstly? Her dress did not appear to be an easily applied one despite only going down to her mid-thigh, corset like top clearly requiring her to tie it by hand, black-blue ruffles that would have required smoothing out after she got dressed. Second was her hair, straightened out and groomed neatly, it now went nearly to her knees and covered her green eye completely, allowing her outfit to highlight the single lube optic she possessed. Although most people would not understand what she had done to her locks and it might make her hard to recognize for people who were used to looking for her based on her eyes? Anyone who grew up with her, could pick it out right away, until she really started falling out with her father she had always wore her hair like this, respecting her partner's wishes she hide at least one of her eyes at all times. However today it was simply because it the only formal hair style she had in her arsenal and she wanted to look her best for the wedding.
If she retained one thing from the time she was just some mild mannered village girl trying to grow up however her parents wanted her to? It was the fact that marriage was an important thing. Yet this ideal of her’s was likely due to the fact she knew her parents had put off getting married to raise her, and never gotten married due to her mother dying. Thus she never wanted another couple to go through the same experience, wedding’s were so sweet and entertaining, even if she had never been to one before, the mage just knew. Thinking like this did no good as she stood in the hotel lobby though, nervously playing with her styled hair, wondering absently if Marschal would like it. She could still remember heading out to seven with him, and it made her happy to be getting this experience, scolding the part of herself that wished she could have worked up the nerve to stay in the same hotel room as him, it wasn’t like she didn’t regularly think of sneaking into his room anyways. However in the end she had her own room and was now waiting in the lobby for him anxiously, red dusted across her down-turned face. Jiyu lifted her head with a smile the second his scent entered her nose, large grin covering her pale pink lips as she moved forward to meet him. Marschal was met with no resistance as he grabbed her much smaller hand into his large appendage, red dusting across her face once more as the smile she wore lightened, softened with joy. Now she finally took time to look at him, drool nearly pouring from the side of her gaping mouth as she took in the man's appearance, squirming slightly from her place beside him. Normally? The feline looked nearly homeless, but today he was truly stunning, a mix of groomed and wild thanks to his hair.
Jiyu approached the temple swiftly, with a smile on her face, humming this soft little tune as she went along, tail swaying from side to side. She was in no rush to get the building within her twenty foot clear vision range, sure she could see the blurry line of it, but she was afraid when they’d arrived he’d let go of her. Once she got the chance to do it more than once? Kazehime had found she was really upset every time she had to let go of marschal’s hand, because she didn’t ever actually want to let go, if it was up to her, Jiyu would never let go. The love of the male magic user’s life, didn’t suffer the same bombardment to her senses, it would likely happen to her soon, but for now she was busy burying her nose into his arm, tuning her ears into the sound of his heart. Ever since their last few missions, she’d done less to conceal how much she wanted to stay close to him, less to prevent herself from taking him in when she had the chance. What she really wanted the nerve to do thought? Was crawl into his bed, that would certainly cure the nightmares she suffered from, there was no way someone could have bad dreams, not feeling safe as he made her feel. Yet she was still unable to do something like that, despite rising suspicion he would not mind if she did, but rather would enjoy it.
Her mind wandered off as she blindly followed her love around the wedding, eyes paling as something came back to her mind. Despite her best efforts to fight it off? Somehow this brought up the image of two young girl’s, one of them clearly Jiyu herself sitting in someone’s window, the other maybe slightly younger, playing the violin. A small sigh emitted from her as she snuggled closer to Marschal in order to chase away the past, not knowing it may very well catch up to her today, smiling when his presence saved her once more. “Hey Marschal, I smell Leila, gonna look for her come on-” she cut off at the end, finally letting her senses unfocus, being slammed by the sudden over-stimulation, likely stumbling back into her bodyguard like boyfriend, proving once more why he needed to behave the way he did with her. “Damn that was more sensory info that I thought it would be, let’s go~” once she recovered the wind user aimed to drag him behind her, using the fact she could see further than him to track down Leila in the small space.
“Leila” she would finally make it over to her friend, aiming to touch her shoulder to grab attention, glancing once to see if Marschal was still with her, praying he hadn’t let go of her. Of course it was very unlikely he'd release her hand until there was actually reason, logic and neccisity seemed to be the reason their hands separated most of the time. Most times Jiyu quickly attached herself to one of his arms thought.
