Neutral Grounds, a special place where magic meant nothing and technology ruled over. Given Sakura's taste and way of thinking, she mostly avoided this place, unsure of it's ways and traditions. Technology mostly seemed completely alien to her, with exception of few commonly known things that were affecting the whole world. And yet, here she was! Standing in the industrial city with her blue eyes set on the prize. A big factory that was towering over the other buildings, proudly displaying several giant pipes that were spewing out nearly black smoke.
"That must be the place!" Sakura would speak to herself, clenching one of her fists in surprising excitement. Few people walking around would give her odd glances, but she did not care for then in the slightest. Right now, all she was seeing was that one goal in front of her and nothing else. It took but a moment for her to start walking towards the factory, the black scarf covering her neck waving in the slight wind that was blowing through the streets.
Her entire attire was rather different from what the folk around here were wearing, which did cause more than just few stares. But just as before, Sakura would completely ignore then until she found herself in front of the gate leading into the industrial zone. And she was hardly alone, a whole bunch of other people, mages and commoners together, were all around, seemingly waiting for the grand iron gate to be opened. And it didn't take too long before a man in black uniform came, unlocking it and opening for everyone. Everyone who wants to see the insides of the factory and receive our brand new product for free, please come in this way!
His shouts signaled to everyone. Some of the visitors were trying to get inside as fast as they could while others formed an orderly line. But Sakura didn't really need to do either, as people were getting out of her way as soon as they saw her katana which was always at the ready. It would appear that no one wanted to get in the way of armed girl who had a precise look of an experienced fighter. Thanks to that, she was at the window where they were handing out those devices in no time at all. "Would you like an iLac, our newest device?" Those were the words of a lovely looking woman on the other side of the protective glass, holding one as she spoke to show off it's design. "Ah, yes! That is the goal of my mission!" The excited tone and strange phrasing clearly confused the woman a little, but she just did her job and handed Sakura the product.
The walk throughout our factory will begin shortly, please gather at the green door over there! The man from before shouted once more, pointing at the door he mentioned where several visitors already stood. It was obvious that handing out iLacs wasn't the only thing that was happening here. But Sakura had zero interest in how they were actually made and quickly turned 180 degrees, walking outside at rather fast pace. The employees were simply left with unimpressed looks on their face, possibly asking themselves why are the young people so rude these days, just taking what is for free and then leaving immediately. But what really mattered was that the girl obtained her own communications device!
