Personality: Rayner is nobility, and as such had has great tutelage in every form of of education. However, one would never guess this from his demeanor and personality. Rayner prefers the simple and plain to the extravagant and bold, not a common trait for one raised in nobility such as Rayner. Rayner can normally be caught with a smile on his face and an easy going presence about him. He loves to talk to people and play around as often as he can. Rayner tries to enjoy everything he can, and it shows in his easy going demeanor. Rayner is always up for a game of any type and loves to play them with anyone that will play with him.
Despite his easy going Demeanor he is always making sure to train each day and overcome any challenge presented to him, regardless of what it is. He takes his training seriously as he hopes and strives to perfect both his sword play and his magic. Rayner is also loyal to a fault, which is something he is proud of. Once he makes a promise or a vow he will do anything needed to fulfill it at any cost. He hates liers and refuses to be one. Rayner tries to enjoy all the little things in life. As he was raised in nobility he noticed how his sister and parents managed to miss the small things and refused to do the same. The fact that he was burdened with the demon only makes this more important as he tries to counter the darkness it has with the light of trying to do what he feels is right.
All of this however, does not mean he is a push over. Rayner has a dark side just like anyone, and his is driven by a darker force then most. The demon sealed in him means that taking a dark turn gets really dark. He has a huge well of anger and hate to draw from and those who do gain his ire feel the full wrath of this well of darkness. However, it is this darkness that he tries to contain with his easy going demeanor and personality, and only lets the darkness out on those who truly deserve it.
Rayner in battle is very different to the one outside of battle. He is very dedicated, focused, and driven while in battle. The well of anger and hate he normally fights to keep down he releases in combat. He doesn't let it control him or his actions, but he uses it as a driving factor and as strength as he combats his opponents. Rayner uses a combination of speed, skill, and swordplay in combat using his magic to bring it all together in a deadly mix. Rayner despite being nobility has never been in a leadership position and has no training as a leader, so it would be unfair to assume he would make a good leader or not. However, he knows how to try and inspire those he fights with, which is a good start. As a member of a team he knows each person has a place and a purpose and that each person has to play their part or else the team fails, and failure can lead to death, and he refuses to fail.
Likes:
*Sword Fighting: Rayner is a sword fighter and loves what he does. He uses his magic and bases around his sword play, taking something he has loved since childhood and creating a destiny with it.
*Music: Rayner loves music. He can play multiple intrusments and fins music to bring peace and serentiy to his soul. However, like anything, he knows music can be used to increase any situation. He loves to listen to music before a good fight if he can.
*Games: Rayner loves games of any type. He feels that any game, no matter the content, can teach you something. Games help build puzzle solving skills, hand eye coordination, memory and many other useful traits and skills.
Dislikes:
*Injustice: Rayner dislikes injustice of any kind and will not stand for it. Plain and simple.
*Demons: Due to his family history, and destiny. As well as the demon inside of him, he hates the idea of demons and would love to wipe them out.
*Liers: Rayner hates people who lie. He feels the truth, no matter how rough or bad is always better then telling a lie.
Motivations:
*Strength: Rayner desires to grow stronger. This mean personally and mentally. He wants to increase his physical strength as well as his magic and become a strong symbol for anyone to fall back on.
*Mastery: Rayner desires not only strength, but the mastery of everything he does. He wants to master not only his sword play, but his magic as well. This will lead to him becoming the man he wants to be. One that can protect that which he desires.
*Adventure: Rayner loves adventure and traveling to see new things and meet new people. Each new experience is something you can learn from, and he loves to continue to broaden his mind and knowledge. These adventures also give him the chance to test his skills and improve, which is extremely important to him.

*Failure: Rayner fears failure. This means that can mean many things to him. Failure to contain the demon, failure to gain power, failure to become the man he desires, and needs to be if he ever wants to return and take his place.
*Losing Control: Rayner is afraid of losing control of the demon inside of him. There have been other's in his family history that have lost control to it and they lost their minds and even worse in some cases.
*Did i mention Demons?!: Rayner realllllllly hates demons, and he has one inside of him. So he fears that it might one day get the better of him and either break the seal that keeps him contained within his soul, or worse yet, he might end up the cause of Rayner's death one day to get released.
