It had been quite a long time since his last visit to the Serene Cliff; the last one he conducted was when he had been a lowly C rank mage, only capable of producing partials of his current full forms. Back when he was much weaker. Remembering the tranquility that the place brought him, a visit there couldn't have really hurt anyone, especially not himself, and his initial purpose for arriving had been to conduct a series of meditations for himself. As it stood, there wasn't really any training he could do that would prove beneficial. The only option he essentially had was to keep his mind clear of any troubles and doubts, both from the past and the future... so that's why he meditated often. Though upon arriving at the scene, he very soon found himself accompanied by someone else, a woman to be exact. Clad in armor, sounding quite mature, but also... apparently knowing his identity? And that he didn't change. His initial reaction was to narrow his eyes and tilt his head ever so slightly. He tried to run through memories and figure out how this woman was, but nothing prevailed at all; he didn't recognize her by sight or sound at all.

Was she an enemy? Should he summon Nidhogg? Black mist had already started to gather in his palm, which he kept facing away from her, but he also didn't bother doing anything reckless first. First he had to ask the obvious question: "Sure....I guess? Uhhh... who are you again?"

"Uhhh, wait, Lynn...?" Her tone wasn't that hostile at all, so he could easily just drop his guard and assume that she wasn't out to attack him. The name didn't really sound all too familiar at first, though... he heard it before. Someplace. Somewhere. Very shortly after she mentioned Sabertooth, all of it came back to him; the Ice Dragon Slayer, that job he had in "Heaven", and... of course... her foul mouth. Though it was astonishing to him that she hadn't said anything that was remotely foul. Not yet anyways. "Oh hey, I remember! Yeah... wow. Two transformations like that in not even half a lifetime? You've really got your work cut out for you. How the heck do you even manage to do that anyways? Not once, but twice." A small bit of laughter escaped him, until he turned away from her. He didn't have his back to her, but rather he just turned towards the sea that the Serene Cliff preceded over. He dropped himself down to a sitting position, his legs criss-crossed, and his eyes closed.

"I dunno' what you came here for, but... I'm here to meditate. I can't get any stronger, so the least I can do is help myself keep a cool head, a keen eye, and make sure my imagination never fails me. What about you?" His voice had significantly calmed itself, and though he spoke, his body didn't seem to be moving an inch from where he had planted himself.

Unlike most people who meditated, Deniel didn't do any of the humming nonsense, or put his hands in a certain position. They just remained on his own lap as he stood still, his eyes shut tight, and his body breathing very slowly, but without a single movement. "You might wanna' go see a doctor about that... or someone that knows about that stuff. Because I don't think that's healthy." That was in reference to her getting a total of three transformations. He knew someone who went through two, but three...? That was pushing it. In fact one transformation in general that was permanent was dangerous Magic taboo to him. Yet it still happened to people anyways, thankfully not him. Even through what he said, he still retained his meditative position, and didn't bother budging an inch either. And he didn't really know what to say about her training.... did she really have to train here? He was used to meditating with background noise, but it was a little irritating nonetheless.

"There's a whole world out there to train in, but if you have to do it here... that's fine. I've done it through worse noise and conditions." Since he was already talking, he decided one more thing could interrupt his meditation. He opened up his palms on his lap, and his signature katana was summoned right there, sheathed laterally on his lap. He placed both hands on to it, linking his mind to the blade, and began his quiet meditation.

All of his outside actions and controls had been let go of. His body made no moving aside from breath, and even then he did not shrug his shoulders up and down, or expand on any part of his body at all. The air merely flowed through and got out. There was virtually no movement on the outside, but within his mind, it had been racing. The entire point of meditation was typically to calm both the mind and the body, but his method of doing so was to cease motion in the body, race the mind, and then calm it. So while his body had nothing... his mind was scattering itself all over the place. He let it dig into the three sections that it had been divided in: Devil, Angel, and himself. Naturally the Devil was the first one to go into, and the hardest. The thoughts of violence crept through him and up his spine, almost whispering to his ear to cause mayhem and destruction.

Unfortunately, Lynn's actions had interrupted the meditation right at that part; not exactly the smartest move, though perhaps not intentional. With his thoughts interrupted right at the most violent part, it was only natural for his response. Though his mind had been disconnected from the outside world, his body was still fully aware of any kind of danger that came upon it. He raised his fist right up to the sky, punching the bolder's outside layer. The impact of his fist cracked it in several locations before being shattered and falling harmlessly to the ground all around him. He placed his hand right on his lap, and went back to his trail of thoughts: "Watch it, will ya'?"

Back to his own business. Luckily that didn't stir him much from his position at all. He just needed to put his hand back down to where it was, placed on the scabbard of his blade, and then continue with his meditation. Back to the thoughts once more... he continue where he had left off with the demonic side of his mind. Since he had already begun it, it didn't take long for him to complete it, and then move on to the angelic side of where his mind's thoughts lay. This is where the thoughts had become much more complex than before. He never quite understood whether it was intended for him to be silent, or to be proud of his power in proclaiming 'justice'. Though once again, his meditation had been interrupted. He could understand one time, but the second time was seriously just starting to push it and get annoying. He found himself trapped in the confined space of the boulder from earlier, this time not really having that many options to move.

There was no air in the cramped space, so he had to use his solution of getting out as soon as possible. Luckily this wasn't too hard, and he didn't even need to use a spell for it as a matter of a fact. All he had to do was focused a very small amount of his Magical Power, at least small in his terms, and once more the rock shattered into pieces. Though not only did it fall apart from the inside out, each of the pieces that scattered around were eventually completely erased from existence, with not even dust left from behind them. Deniel was on his feet now, and both of his arms crossed. "Alright, now you're seriously pushing your luck."

"It'd better not. You're on strike two." He had no idea what he would do on strike three, and he didn't really bother thinking about it. He hoped she would had the sense to not push her luck once more, and either go train somewhere else or.... go train somewhere else. He already expressed his desire for her to leave him alone, but apparently that wasn't enough, since she was still keen on doing whatever training she had been conducting--very poorly--in his presence. Not only did she hit strike three, however, he didn't even get the chance to return back to his meditation. When he turned around, he saw a shadow looming over his, one that was much more enormous, and could not have been his own. He didn't now what it was just by the shadow, but he didn't hesitate to take action already. His hand went to the hilt of his katana, and drew the blade abruptly. He turned around and raised the blade high up to the sky, for the shadow of the creature behind him gave him a rough estimate of the size. After the blade came down, the bear stood completely still before having its body split in half right down the center, and just like the fragments of the boulder, each half of the body was wiped from existence.

Deniel spun the blade around in his grip, and sheathed it right back in the scabbard. "Strike three." He said as the blade slid right back where it belonged, and once he clicked in the hilt, a circle of blades appeared right around Lynn's location. They were purple in color, six of them in total, and they each circled around her from the waist area rapidly with the tips pointed at her. The blades themselves looked like regular short swords, but there was no telling what they could do exactly. "You have a death wish or something....?"

After she answered 'no', he still kept the blades rotating around her, just in case she had anything else to say. Something stupid, perhaps. Regardless of what she said, he didn't really have any intentions of killing her at all. Harming her was the most he would do, but even then it would only be if she pushed him even further. The barrier she surrounded herself with got him scanning it with his Magical sensory capabilities, measuring its strength by the amount of Magic Power she expelled from her body, and the power that it carried within it. Just a few Summoned Swords would be able to go right through it. After she finished speaking, the swords only continued to rotate around her with only dead silence coming from him. He gave her a very blank stare in response, and then raised both of his eyebrows. As he did, the summoned swords stopped spinning, and they each pulled themselves back a few centimeters. He still didn't say any words, and the blades remained completely still in the air, not spinning or going towards her. "Fine, then," he said a little bit quietly.

The blades flew inwards towards Lynn's location, but each and every one of them missed the target and landed harmlessly on the ground all around her. Each of them disappeared a few moments after being launched, and Deniel was seen already walking away from the scene. "Train to your heart's content. I'm going home." In spite of the fact that he didn't really have a home to begin with.

When the wall came right up in front of him, he used his thumb that had been stationed near the guard of his katana to click the blade from its scabbard as his right hand prepared to draw it. His plan of action was to cut the wall in half, but before he could move his hand to draw the blade, she finally gave the actual reason for her annoyance. Training her.... of course. What else could someone like him be useful to people other than his power and knowledge? Nothing. It didn't really hurt him at all to 'train' her, though... and it wasn't hard to figure out what kind of Magic she had been training for. Arc of Embodiment. The things she created seemingly came out of no where, and bent to her will, which had meant it was some kind of Magic connected to some kind of imagination or higher will. It was the only thing he could deduce.

He clicked his katana blade right back in its scabbard, and turned around. "Fine then, but we're doing things my way or not at all... I'll go easy on you." He stood still with his katana in front of him, placed on the ground with two hands supporting it by the back of the hilt. Six summoned swords appeared right at Deniel's location, three of them on each side just above his shoulders. He launched all of them at her, one at a time in rapid succession, and any movements she made to dodge them would be met with a summoned sword following her position. He hadn't really anticipated any of them to hit, but at the very least that would get her on her toes, and would remain that way. Six more were summoned just like in the position before, but they seemingly vanished from where they were located. They each appeared right above Lynn, all of them dropping at the same. Once they had landed, Deniel launched five or so Summoned Swords one at a time in rapid succession, without summoning six at once. While those five launched, six of them appeared around Lynn just as they did before, and circled around her with every move and motion she made to avoid the other ones. Eventually they ceased their movements, backed up a few centimeters, and then shot inwards on her location.

Illusions? Hmph... how boring. He thought as his eyes glared and searched around for just a few moments, seeing if he could find any trace of her with his eyesight alone. Just as he expected, though, it didn't work, but he had plenty of other methods. "You can't hide from me." Plan B to track her down was a flawless one, and always worked. People used Illusions to mask their appearance and location in space, but they almost never erased things such as scent or sound... or in this case: Magic Power. All Deniel had to do was close his eyes, and he was able to sense her Magic Power in a flash, and track her every movement there. A smirk spread itself across his face as he conjured six summoned swords once more. These ones circled around the position Lynn was hiding at, and would continue to follow her and circle around her position, unless she dared to try and destroy them. Which was impossible. He opened his eyes, and now had a visual location as to where she was, and where she was going. Now it was time for more swords to come out.

He summoned six at a time, until he had about twenty four of them, and let them loose. Each and every sword roamed around seemingly aimlessly in the air, shifting to random locations, but all of them were pointed at Lynn's location, and followed her everywhere she went, which is where the circle of six swords had been going. Eventually the blades fired themselves, one at a time, and in very quick succession, to keep her on her toes.
