A rainy day it was that evening, while Void traveled through the Ace of Spades. She had caught word that there was a bandit infestation somewhere in the area and felt the need to kill something. Why did she feel that way? It was simply because she wanted to. Her impulse to destroy constantly urged her to kill whatever human was in her line of sight, though she denied that impulse simply because she did not desire it. Even for someone like her, it was necessary to have a justifiable reason for killing a human. Perhaps that was the divinity within her which kept her impulses in check. Meanwhile, on the outside of her thoughts, the rain was relatively calm though there was certainly a downpour. It was enough to make seeing through it rather difficult without some kind of umbrella or other object to keep the rain away from one's eyes. Void was not so skilled yet with her Magic that she could destroy every single water droplet that was to come into contact with her body, so she did not bother to waste energy keeping herself dry. Eventually, clothes became pointless to wear despite still keeping them on; her clothes were of simple fabric, so they became see-through. To her, it was more normal to be naked than to wear clothes so she was not embarrassed about being exposed. The woman spent most of the day traveling through this area in search of the supposed bandit infestation and had thus far found nothing.
Some more time passed and she eventually caught sight of a light dug into one of the tall cliffs she was walking by. Considering it was out in the middle of nowhere, it likely was not a run-of-the-mill human so she decided to go investigate. Chances were, it was either going to be the bandits or someone unfortunately stuck out here. Either way, it would have been a smart idea to get into some form of shelter before her physical body grew sick or caught a fever. Being human, even if only slightly, was very annoying.

Leila was on her way to the castle that they called Ace of Spades. She didn't have any contracts there, it was to be a simple visit out of curiosity, since she had chance to go through several cities before. And exploring places like these would only benefit her with new possibilities for work. Not to mention that the sun was already setting and she needed a roof above her head. However, before she arrived, it started raining relentlessly. Not wanting to get too wet, Leila quickly gestured Ori to start running, as she saw a small opening in the mountain nearby. It looked like a small cave, but she had no interest in actually exploring it. She simply sat down on the rocky floor and grabbed Ori into her embrace. With a sigh, she looked at the rain outside that was growing stronger by the minute. There was a good chance she would be stuck in this little shelter for a while. To pass time, she started humming an old melody that she learned from her father while travelling through the wilderness. Her hands were stroking her companion's fur as he laid in her lap, falling asleep with her humming as a lullaby. It was a cute scene of a lonely girl that was accompanied by a little furry creature.
Eventually, the sun hid behind the mountains and the rain became so dense that Leila had to light a lantern in order to see around her. Ori was long asleep and slightly preventing her from getting up, as he made pillow out of her lap. She sighed with a smile on her face and closed eyes as well. Thinking that she would have to spend the entire night in this place, she grew uneasy. It wouldn't be the first time she had to sleep on a piece of rock instead of bed, but she had no idea what manner of creatures lived around these parts. If something was to attack her in the sleep, it would be rather troublesome. Looking through her bag, she grabbed a small bottle filled with water. And suddenly, she heard steps. Or at least, she though she heard steps. Her senses became wary of her surroundings, waiting and scanning every new movement. But in the end, she heard or saw nothing but the rain outside, and so she proceeded to drink from her bottle. It was at that moment she suddenly saw a frame of a women in the corner of her eyes. A pale-skinned woman who appeared to be naked, until Leila realized that her clothes were simply soaked to the point of being completely see-through. Her immediate reaction was to spit out the water in panic, waking up Ori and flinging him to the side as Leila quickly jumped backwards, flailing her hands in front of her and screaming: W..w..WHO?! Rudely awoken Ori noticed the girl as well and started hissing to aid Leila's voice.

She looks human but she does not feel human. I suppose I will let this body rest here for a time. By human standards, the young girl in front of Void was fairly attractive. Definitely her type. More importantly, she took a position that said she was defending herself. Did the woman startle her somehow? That was when she noticed that the girl's face was a little flushed. Void did not really understand why but she did admit that it was likely due to her current appearance, which was less than modest. The girl uttered a single word which was unintelligible at first. The woman determined that she meant to say "who's there" or "who are you". To that, Void remained expressionless while walking a few feet into the cave and responded. "Move to the side."
At the moment she said that, an arrow each flew at the two women and she increased her focus to that of the objects and destroyed them a few meters away from their position. Stray arrows. There must be some fighting going on further ahead. But first. The woman pulled off her top and set it down on the ground to the opposite side of the lantern which was on the ground before addressing the young girl. "My name is Void. There is something going on further within this cave and I feel the need to eliminate the disturbance there. You may join me, if it pleases you." Her breasts were completely bare in front of the girl's eyes as Void spoke, and then she began to walk casually ahead. She was not worried about whether or not the girl wanted to follow along. She wanted to destroy something or someone, so that was what she was going to do. Why did she not destroy the girl? Simple; for two reasons. First, she was attractive enough to keep alive for later. Second, and more importantly, she was not entirely human and that was worth investigating further.

This situation was very odd and Leila had no idea as to what she should do right now. Both her and Ori were on her guard as that girls just kinda stood there in front of them. Her skin was snow white, completely unnatural for a human. Though her eyes were a beautiful green. Still, that didn't much change the fact that she looked like a ghost that suddenly appeared to haunt Leila. And to make matters worse, she started waking right towards her without as much as a word to reply to Leila's question. In instinctive response, Leila started moving away from her rather clumsily, as she was still pretty much sitting on the cave's floor. Ori quickly moved in front of his owner as well, threateningly hissing at the approaching girl who completely ignored him before and now as well. Finally, she spoke. Though she said something that no one present expected. She only wanted Leila to move to the side... but why? Before she managed to process her words and all that was going on, that girl did something. Leila wasn't sure what, but she felt a magic working. And only then she noticed broken arrows falling to the ground. "W..what..?" She asked, mainly herself as she didn't expect any answers from that ghostly girl. Although, she did just save her.
And again, without any warning, the girl started undressing herself. It actually seemed like this night couldn't get any weirder. Leila yelped loudly and quickly covered her eyes, turning her head to face to wall. "W..what in the world are you doing?!" She asked, her voice unnecessarily loud and frantic. And finally, she spoke. She introduced herself, stated her business and started marching off, like it was no big deal. Utterly confused, Leila jumped up and quickly cough Void's hand from behind, hopefully stopping her. "Hold up! A..are you planning to go there like that?" No matter how you looked at it, that attire was unacceptable. She let go of the snowy hand and swiftly removed her shirt, handing it towards Void. "Here... please, don't damage it..." She said in a low, uncertain voice. She still had her undershirt so it was fine. The only question was, how will this Void react? Not to mention, she said something about eliminating and those were arrows earlier, seemingly aimed at them. Or at least it looked like they were aimed, hardly a coincidence. "W..would you care to explain yourself? And all of this?" Leila finally spoke again, wanting to know more. All of this was interesting and confusing at the same time.

Humans were so very strange. Why did they act in such a way about one's body? Was it insecurity? The woman was not certain. The young girl still had not introduced herself, though it was not important at the current moment. She offered Void a shirt to wear and she looked it over a bit. It was clearly too small for the woman's frame and it was not necessary for her to wear a top. "A shirt is unnecessary. Besides, it will come undone anyway so there is no point. Besides, you're a woman yourself. Why are you so embarrassed about seeing another woman half naked?" It was not very often that Void spoke that much and that was likely due to the fact that the girl did not feel human. Leaving behind her curiosity for the time being, Void took a few more steps forward before the girl spoke again, asking her what was going on. What was going on? Ah. She must have wondered why a naked woman suddenly came into the cave and pursued something further in. That was simple enough to answer. "The downpour outside made these clothes see-through, and this body would have attained a fever had the clothing remained on. I should remove my pants as well, now that it comes to mind." The woman began to bend down in front of the girl and pull her pants down as she spoke some more, continuing her explanation. "I heard rumors of a bandit infestation in this area. The arrows that flew toward us a moment ago were enough justification for me to head further in. Beyond that, it does not matter if you join me or not. I cannot guarantee a human's safety."

What in the world was with this girl? She refused Leila's help, provided some strange explanation and then undressed herself completely. Leila only widened her eyes in surprise at that act and turned around so she wouldn't be looking. "H..how is it unnecessary? Of course it is unnecessary! And pants are too, that's why you wear them! If they were unnecessary, you wouldn't bother with them and would just walk around in your birthday suit at all times, right?" She tried to explain but probably did a poor job. But whatever the case, she was not about to lend her a skirt, unlike her top, she had only one article of clothing protecting her underwear in those parts. At this point, Ori was calmed too, as he jumped at Leila's shoulder, facing Void and staring at her with curious eyes. Regarding the question about Leila getting embarrassed wasn't answered on purpose, since it was clearly distracting her. Anyone would react like that if a beautifully developed body like that would be displayed in front of them. Leila coughed few times and turned her head slightly to see if Void was still undressed. She indeed was. Still blushing, she tried to look past her body and into the cave. It certainly seemed like there was some kind of dim light coming from there, and those arrows were certainly real, too. Bandits? She thought. She didn't hear anything of the sort, possibly because she didn't reach the fort yet. This whole situation suddenly seemed really dangerous. And that was exactly why Leila couldn't leave. "Aaah, fine! I can't possibly let a naked girl go against a horde of bandits alone..." As she said that, she turned completely to face Void. And because of her... lack of attire... she had to cover her eyes slightly. "Are you absolutely positive that you don't want to wear anything?" She asked one more time, just to be sure.

"Are you embarrassed because you do not like what you see? And I wear clothing out of convenience for you humans. Being arrested for something like that is not a bothersome thing I would do willingly. Besides, police know harsh realities better than most humans, so I don't want to kill them too soon. Does that make sense?" Her voice conveyed neither tone, nor emotion as she spoke. Time was being wasted going back and forth about the concept of wearing clothing rather than killing the bandits that likely swarmed the inside of this cave. Void did not care regardless what choice the girl was going to make, though right around that thought, the girl said she would follow along. It seemed she was going to have to remain a bit more focused if she didn't want to end up killing a young human needlessly. Void had a powerful impulse to destroy, but she was not going to allow it to run rampant without just cause.
For a long time, Void did not actually care about such things. It was only within the last fifty years that she made these mental locks. The reason she did this? Simple. It was unnecessary to destroy everything in sight when there was so much to destroy; even after a century and a half, Void did not regain much of her former divine strength. Perhaps this was how some of the other gods in that place felt as well, not that was she was interested in the thoughts of those who removed her. In the end, all it came down to was the woman eventually gained the ability to choose whether to destroy or leave alive. That was one of few necessary things she had come across in the last 150 years.
The girl whom was behind Void asked if she was certain about being fine naked. Void turned around and walked directly in front of her. "If I am the one choosing to strip naked, does it not make sense that I am fine with it? Besides. I don't see you stating that you yourself don't like it. Lets move on."

She started talking on the topic of her attire again, countering what Leila had said earlier. And the more she talked, the more unusual she seemed. Which was not a bad thing at all, however, in this situation it wasn't exactly a good thing either. It also seemed that she had absolutely no chance of convincing her to wear some clothes. "It makes sense... I guess. And of course I'm embarrassed, just not really because I would dislike what I see... err... what I mean is... it's really distracting!" She shouted a bit. It was true and nothing more, nothing less. If they were to face bandits, well, it will be kinda hard to focus on fighting if there will be those two pieces of feminine meat hanging in front of her. And the fact that Void positioned herself right in front of Leila didn't exactly help either. "Yeah, you're comfortable with it... and the bandits will be too, I bet..." She replied in a really low voice, almost as if she was trying to hide those words from Void.
She wanted to move on and so they did. Leila returned her shirt to it's proper place, on her chest and walked behind her new companion. Since they were going to engage someone in battle, she quickly winked at Ori who transformed himself into a small crystal ball that Leila easily hid in her little bag. "Hey..." Leila suddenly said towards Void and stopped walking for a moment. "Sorry about before. And, well... name's Leila Vergious, a travelling mage, currently without a contract. Nice to meet you... um... Void? Is that really your name?" She introduced herself and asked a question at the same time, starting to walk again. This girl was different from everyone else. Even the way she spoke, it seemed as if she wasn't... human. But what was she? Was she really some sort of ghost, hence the white skin? Questions like that raced through Leila's mind as she waited for Void's response to the question.

"Interesting. It's embarrassing, but you don't mind. Are you a pervert? Not that I would mind." It was true that she really did not care if the girl were a pervert. On rare occasions, Void too was a perverted woman. Distracting. Did that mean she was going to stare? The woman was interested in the thought but she did not pursue it. Then was not the right time. Her breasts and bottom bounced slightly every time she took a step forward to where the arrows came from. She was about to wipe some scum from the planet and thus make it just a little bit cleaner. Though in hindsight, Void did not know it was a larger cave than she initially thought, and it contained more than bandits.
After some moments of walking, the girl tried to get her attention with a "hey". Typical human. She introduced herself as Leila Vergious, which had an earthen ring to it. She also stated that she was a traveling mage not under contracts and then asked if "Void" was the woman's real name. At that, she stopped without turning around and spoke. "A human gave me that name. Their inspiration was the black hole here at the base of my neck. My last memory before then about names was Yondaime, which means 'Fourth'. It was my rank once. Far from here." She stood silent for a moment after that and then began walking again. It was not so simple a thing to discuss with one whom was born from this plane.

"No, I'm not a pervert!!" Leila blurred out, clearly angry and embarrassed even further. First she had to do jobs where she would pose suggestively as others took pictures, now random strangers thought of her as some spineless pervert. Things were not improving on that note. But at least she managed to get something out of her with that next question of hers. After hearing all that, she went silent for a moment, thinking. She tried to formulate another question in her mind, but planning forward like this was never for her. In the end, she asked directly. "So you really aren't a human, Yon-chan." Only after those words escaped her mouth she realized how personal that question actually was and immediately closed her mouth. "Sorry, I shouldn't have..." She apologized with a sad tone and tried to make the distance between their walking bodies a bit bigger.
If she was not human, it was none of her business. Even though she was immensely interested in this girl, she had no permission to ask questions like that. Her body seemed unique, different from anything she's ever seen, only feeding her desire to explore it. But from the way she acted, it was clear that she was more of a loner, someone who wouldn't interact with others much. Sighing, she fiddled her fingers a bit before the light in front of them grew bigger. It looked like they were getting close to the place where those arrows were fired from. And since they weren't attacked yet, it actually seemed that they could have an element of surprise on their side.
Void stopped walking again. The human had a brain after all if she were that inquisitive. At that moment, it became more and more necessary to keep her memories to herself. The woman's existence was not something that could have been comprehended by a human. It was not so simple a thing she could share. The woman lived her "life" alone just fine up to now and this likely was not going to change anything. If Void told her, what would happen? Most likely the human would have laughed it off like most humans did decades before. Was it so impossible for gods to exist in human form? Many of them believed in such things, so why was it impossible for those gods they worshiped to legitimately exist? There was truly no point in trying to explain something that she already knew was not going to be believed. The woman turned around a third time to stare at the young girl, Leila, without speaking this time. It was important to note however that there was a chance she was not entirely human either. Perhaps there was some chance that Leila would find some way to believe it. But where would that have gone then? Surely something would have changed if it was known that Void was a god. So what was she to do? Tell her, or not tell her? Or perhaps... that was a good idea. A slightly more interesting way of going about this would have been better. Void walked to Leila and then leaned down into her ear, her voice ever so slightly changed. "If you manage to make it through to the end of this with me, I'll tell you something good." Then she continued walking on and eventually came to an open area, which was of a medium size.
I see. Bandits aren't the only things that inhabit this cave. Undead. In particular, living skeletons. Without waiting for the girl, Void walked right in and headed straight for the two skeletons. They caught notice of the footsteps and began to fire arrows. Unfortunately, those arrows were aged and decrepit so it took little effort to destroy them without having to use her left hand. Once she got close enough, the woman moved her right hand to the side as though she were slapping something with the back of her hand and the two skeletons instantly became shards of lifeless bone. As far as the woman was aware, Leila was not in front of her, so she would not get hit by the attack. "It seems we also have a skeleton infestation here. This should be at least slightly amusing."

Leila was worrying a lot and when Void turned to face her, it made her froze on the spot. As the naked girl approached Leila, she felt tingly along her spine and a sense of fear. She was simply afraid that the question offended Void to the point where she decided to dispose of her. Of course, she was prepared to not go down without a fight! But instead of magic that she was expecting, Void simply leaned in and whispered something. Surprise! Leila liked surprises, no, loved them! Though the surprise of Void walking towards her just to whisper that was a tad bit mean. In any case, they had to move forward. Finally they entered something that looked like a camp site. Void took action first, rushing on ahead while Leila was distracted by the interesting shape of the cave. Before she even noticed, the thread was completely neutralized. She noticed only the bones that were rolling around Void. "O..oh. Skeletons? Is necromancy at play here?" She finally started paying attention. "Were they the ones that shot those arrows before?" She asked as well, not really expecting any answer.
She looked around some and then waved at Void. "Hey, since you took care of... whatever that once was, this camp is now safe. And completely usable. I guess it was used by the bandits who entered the same was as we did." With those words, she ran around exploring every nook and cranny, hoping that she would find some manner of treasure. Unfortunately, it seemed that the bandits took everything with them. That bummed Leila out slightly as she sat down near a campfire. Though they just entered and required no rest. "I... I'm slowing you down, aren't I? Sorry, don't leave without me!" She quickly jumped back onto her feet and ran towards Void. This was the first time she would be in a real combat and she needed someone on her side, if she was left alone, it wouldn't end very well.

The woman sighed and took a moment to think about the situation. Having someone else join her would have been more bothersome to juggle among the fighting that was to ensue. It was not that she had any particular resentment toward the girl, Leila, but it was realistic. This was ultimately unnecessary for someone else to join her in this endeavor, so she spoke simply to the girl whom was nearby.
"Leila, I have decided that your willingness to join me is unnecessary at this point. I suggest leaving this cave for the time being. I am going on ahead."
Even as Amaterasu spoke, she was walking away, to where the cave went further in. She did not wave and she did not care what that girl decided to do; it was for the best that the woman be alone. After all, she was not the type who could be reasoned with. With that, the woman left the camp area in search of more things to eliminate.

As the woman walked down further into the cavern, bones were scattered on the ground in every which way and there were signs of struggling along the walls. She did not care but it was worth noting that whatever triumphed there was stronger than the rabble she took care of a little bit earlier. After some minutes spent walking forward, Void began to catch the scent of a human that seemed to be just ahead and determined that the victor was in fact that species. That very species the woman felt necessary to annihilate completely. Her face remained unchanging as she casually walked into a tomb-like area, where a tall man was standing over a casket made of solid stone. Noticing the engravings along its sides, Amaterasu came to the conclusion that this was the tomb of a pirate from a few centuries ago. This sort of thing was not common in current times but back then it was normal to bury a person of importance somewhere that could preserve the bones and treasures from harsh weather conditions. Then, as the woman drew closer, the large man who held a pole-arm in his hands swung it around to the left though it clearly missed as the Goddess stepped calmly back and just out of its range. Humans were so very predictable. Turned around now, the man spoke with a rough and slightly angered tone.
"Oi! I found this tomb first so what's here is mine! Back off, bitch!"
She sighed once again and moved her head from side to side to show that she was not amused. The woman responded simply and to the point then, "I'm not here for the treasure, trash. I'm here to rid the planet of you." As she spoke, a hand was raised to the center of her body and a few inches away; then she showed her left palm to the large man and hit him straight in the chest. The man did not know what happened but he did get more angry. Void did not let him get close, though, as she continued to hit him directly in the chest and push him back. The man was really not worth the time but she wanted him to understand that fighting was a futile effort. Eventually, the man ran with all his might toward her though she still did not bat an eye. In response to the pole-arm being swung at her, the woman stepped inward quickly and caught the stick portion of the weapon with her bare hand. That will be all, trash. She then threw a solid punch with her right and blew a large hole through the man's torso. The man being dead, she pushed him over to the side of the room against the wall and looked into the casket. It was the body of a pirate known as Gold Roger whom was quite famous back in the day. The pirate's coat and hat were in the side next to his body, along with a fist-sized rock on top of the coat. The rock may have meant something, so she placed it in a pocket and then grabbed the coat and hat. I won't wear it but I'm sure someone will buy it at one of the port towns. With the three things in hand, she left the cave casually and unscathed. The things in this cave did not live up to Void's expectations. She wanted something more.
