Mashyuu in: King of the Pirates!

The wind picked up hard while Mashyuu traveled to the Ace of Spades, instead of flying he and Rocky decided it best to simply travel on foot for a day. He tugged his grey jacket over one of his arms to try and fight off the cold from the night air that was blowing hard from left to right. The worst part was the sand that was kicking up all over the place. Mashyuu was starting to be unable to see through the stinging fog, and could hear a sharp wind coming up all around the Wizard. Only a few feet away was the mouth to a small cave where Mashyuu and Rocky sprinted into the tight space and glanced behind them to see a massive sandstorm kicking up hard. Mashyuu's strong face twisted in worry and he bolted down the mouth of the cave at a steep angle.

Together with Rocky Mashyuu traveled ten meters, until he saw a soft fires glow in the distance. The pair stepped into a massive room that held a single set of double doors made of iron. He let his blue eyes dart around at the gold lining the walls and he whispered something under his breath. In all of the Wizards travels he had heard of a tomb belonging to Gold Rodger, the man who robbed the gods and brought magic into the world. The Earth Wizard gasped and walked towards the massive doors, looking them over once he gently pushed the doors, letting them open to reveal what lied beyond the large chamber.

"Rocky, this could be amazing. Whatever we find beyond this door could lead to one of the greatest discoveries in the world." The Earth Wizard whispered. The brown haired man could feel his heart racing with joy, if he found the right kind of treasure he might be able to retire from selling it. Sure he wanted to be the Sabertooth Guild Master but taking care of his family was even more important.

Mashyuu pushed on the door hard, dust rumbled and fell from the doors frame and creaked open loudly. If Mashyuu was paying attention he would have noticed that the other door was clean of dust, he was just to excited to see what was actually happening. Others had beat him to the tomb and were looking for Rodgers Treasure.

With a heavy grunt Mashyuu pushed the massive iron door open and looked at the halls before him. Every seven feet or so was a casket set into the walls of the halls that moved down before the Earthen Wizard in various random directions. The Earth Wizard couldn't help but wonder if this was made as a way to confused people or if there was a way to actually navigate the tombs. Just as he was about to start moving to his left Rocky trotted up in front of him and started to growl angerly. Mashyuu looked down at the creature and patted it's head. "Hey buddy, come on, relax. No need to worry now we aren't in any more danger than we normally are." Mashyuu said while trying to relax the Golem. But Rocky wouldn't calm down, if it had fur Mashyuu was sure that the fur would have stood up on edge. The Earth using Wizard took a sniff of the air a few times and found he could only smell death, but he could hear something rattling. Maybe Rocky could sense it before Mashyuu could?

Rocky slowly moved forward to stand between two halls and a blade came down at Rocky from Mashyuu's left. Rocky side stepped then glanced over his shoulder to see a second blade coming down at him. Mashyuu swiftly ran and blocked the blade with his armored jacket and snarled. He glanced at the foes and grumbled as three dark skeletal soldiers with swords and shields crept upon the duo of Mashyuu and Rocky. "Rocky, blunt strikes, avoid the shield!" Mashyuu shouted and slammed his fist into the side of one of the skeleton's head hard. The Wizard grinned ear to ear and pulled his arm back for a second strike when he found Rocky was giving ground against the single Skeleton the golem was in combat with. Rocky had no way to deal bludgeoning strikes to the Skeleton since at best Rocky could grow spikes and try to impale the soldiers. Once Rocky had some space between it and the fighter Mashyuu raised a wall up between the fighters and listened as a sword slashed into the stone wall, catching but breaking part of Mashyuu's newly formed wall.

Now that Mashyuu had one of the skeletal creatures trapped behind a wall he could fully focus on taking down the two that were standing before him and basically taunting the wizard. He was still on a knee but didn't bother to get up just yet. "Earth Gauntlets!" He shouted and held his fists out, letting stone rocket up and clamp to his arms like bracers. The Wizard brought his arm up and spun on his heel, slamming his left forearm into the skeleton's rib cage. It rattled, hard as the creature stumbled over to the right. Mashyuu stepped with it in time to narrowly avoid a glancing strike from the second Skeleton that was behind the one Mashyuu was fighting at the moment. The Skeleton Mashyuu was engaged with growled and pinned the Earth Wizard to the wall with it's shield while it's blade took aim at Mashyuu's face. Pinned, Mashyuu pointed to the ground next to him and summoned the dark one. Just before the Skeleton's blade slipped into Mashyuu's skull he vanished into a puff of smoke and appeared next to the monster. With rapid fire strikes Mashyuu slammed his fists into the confused skeleton's face repeatedly. After the tenth strike the creature fell to bones at Mashyuu's feet while it's blade and shield clattered to the ground.

In the mean time Rocky had jumped up onto it's back legs and slammed into the Skeleton that would have been striking at Mashyuu. The creature fell back into the hall that it was in and dropped it's shield from the force of how hard Rocky had struck the Skeleton. Rocky growled and took in a deep breath then released a massive amount of blunt stones against the undead creatures body, the blast cracked bones hard then shattered into thousands of pieces when Rocky tackled the monster and took the undead's place where it was standing.

The wall Mashyuu put up came tumbling down with the Skeleton stepping through. Before it could charge Mashyuu was slamming his shoulder into the bones, rattling the beast. Mashyuu drew a deep breath and stood up hard, flipping the monster hard and causing it to roll legs over head. The monster clattered to the ground and started to pull itself up only to find Mashyuu's stone covered hand ripping at the monster's face, pulling it to it's knees. Mashyuu's free hand came back then slammed into the ribs of the undead. As Mashyuu slammed his fist into the beast for a second time Rocky had slammed into the front of the monster forcing the beasts ribs to snap and fall apart.

All three Skeletons were downed and Mashyuu and Rocky needed to figure out where they were going from here to find Gold Rodgers treasure. "Well buddy, where to now?"

Softly Mashyuu and Rocky padded down a random hall, their soft foot falls digging into the natural terrain of the sand covered hard stone below their feet. A soft fire's warmth hit Mashyuu in the face and lit up a set of stairs that went up some fifteen feet. Mashyuu looked at the stairs carefully and pointed his fingers at them. The Dark One, who had been following them made his way forward and up the steps, allowing for Mashyuu to see through the dark eyes of the creature.

The Dark One looked about for a moment at a large open field that looked like a camp sight under ground. Archers milled about in the camp sight, the Dark One figured they were standing guard for one reason or another. A single door rested cracked open off behind one of the Archers. The Dark One could feel it's time in the realm of the living coming to and end and vanished in a cloud of light smoke. Mashyuu furrowed his brow and shook his head, then without saying a word scooped Rocky up so his heavy stone feet wouldn't clack on the ground while he carried the animal up the steps as silently as he could muster his body to do.

Mashyuu came to the top of the steps, placing Rocky down and keeping low to the ground himself. The Wizard took stock of the things going on. One archer on each side of the door ahead but he couldn't smell anyone else. Ten sleeping bags and a single fire. Mashyuu wondered if there were more camp sights around but he couldn't tell for sure.

Just as he was about to stand up an arrow came flying in and pegged Mashyuu in the shoulder hard, drawing a dark line of blood and keeping his left arm kept in place. Mashyuu groaned in pain and looked at the men who each had a shot lined up to take Mashuu down. "Rocky, go." He ordered the Golem. Rocky rushed forward first, darting between a series of shots that narrowly missed the dog like guardian. Rocky jumped up and grew spikes, hitting a man in the gut, knocking him out in a single strike.

In the time it took Rocky to draw upon the archer and take him down, the second archer managed to jump back and fire an arrow straight into Rocky's ribs, digging deep between stones and causing the dog like creature to yelp in pain. Mashyuu bolted at the Archer, a fist balled up and slammed his fist into the Archers head as hard as he could. The Archer bounced hard off the wall at his left, right into Mashyuu's body as Mashyuu swept his leg out and took the man with the bow down in a single motion. The knocked out man hit the ground hard and groaned even while being effectively dead to the world. Mashyuu twisted his head and looked at him, then to Rocky, who was already at work tugging at the arrow and ripping it out of his body. Mashyuu walked to pick up both bows and unworked the bowstrings, then used them to hog tie the archers by the arms and legs to one another. Even if it didn't hold them forever it would hold them long enough for Mashyuu to find the tomb and get out.

Mashyuu walked to the center of the room and took a look around, tools had been buried in the dirt, it looked like they were digging tools. Mashyuu couldn't help but wonder how long the men had been here and digging. Maybe they thought they would need to dig but found enough room and passages that they decided to drop the tools off and continue on while these men watched the camp site in case those skeletons made their way to the site. From what Mashyuu had seen the Archers were fast on the draw and the undead didn't move very fast. Mashyuu took a deep breath and looked at Rocky who seemed like he was doing fine for the most part and then headed over to the door that the archers were standing by. "Think we are too late?" Mashyuu asked in an off handed tone as if it were an afterthought.

Blue eyes examined the door and looked at how it opened. It actually seemed to be lifted up and moved inside the top of the stone work. Interesting design choice if Mashyuu could say. He dropped low and grasped the frame of the door and lifted his legs high, bringing the door sailing up to lock into place above him. "Ya know Rocky, we should learn some fire magic if even to just guide our way through dark places. Luckily this isn't so dark we can't see in front of us."

Mashyuu pushed the door open and slipped through a passage with Rock, he could feel his magic not really recovering at the rate that his inner strength normally did. He felt his eyes water as he yawned and stretched out his body. Rocky whined at Mashyuu and nudged Mashyuu's right leg softly then ran off down the narrow hall they were in. The Slayer rounded the corner of the hall, moving to the right and found himself in a grand chamber that looked like it was once filled with treasure but now had been converted into a campsite. Rocky rested near small well that had been turned into a campfire. Slowly Mashyuu walked up to the fire and looked at it. There was a small sparker inside the pit and he picked it up, squeezing it once to light the fire.

With the fire blazed Mashyuu sat down next to Rocky and rested his head on his jean covered knees. His blue eyes shut tight and his mind wandered to what life had brought before him. Less than a year ago he had joined Sabertooth and since joining he had done a lot. Found out about who killed his mother and first love, saved his home town, met Rocky, learned Dragon Slayer Magic, killed dragons, met the love of his life and found out he would be a dad. Now he was searching for a dead man's treasure... If there even was one. Mashyuu opened his eyes and felt his magical power restored, Rocky seemed to be doing just as well as he was and the Wizard sprang up swiftly. "I don't know how long I was out but we really gotta get this treasure and get on the move again." Mashyuu said to Rocky, who was already flying through the air and around the Wizard.

Rocky buzzed around the room that seemingly had no exit and sniffed about for a long while. Eventually stopping at a black coffin and barking loudly at it. Mashyuu walked over to Rocky and yanked the coffin open, seeing that it lead to a long set of stairs that led down into darkness.

The steps led down a dark path until a blast of fire lit the room Mashyuu and Rocky were in up, torches lit all around and revealed a narrow hall with five coffins, Two Archers fired arrow after arrow at a set of three Skeletons while two fire red dogs glared at Mashyuu. The Earth Wizard paused at the bottom of the steps and glanced about the narrow hall. Not much room to move about and the dogs looked terribly angry. One Hell Hound took a deep breath and started to lite up with fire, Mashyuu took a half step back and lifted his right arm up at a sharp angle, erecting a wall of stone that absorbed the blast of fire, keeping Mashyuu from becoming burned in the wake of the massive blast. When the fire cleared Mashyuu took a step backwards until his heel pressed to the step behind him. The wall he created continued to burn while he could hear the dogs barking and growling behind the structure. Rocky stepped in front of Mashyuu and dropped into a protective stance, it's rocks sprouting slightly as if it's fur were standing on end.

Mashyuu looked at Rocky just in time for the wall he created to melt away. Before the Hell Hounds could act Rocky howled and launched a line of stones at the beasts, cutting them wide open with jagged rocks. The Hounds howled in rage and pain then launched themselves forwards. Mashyuu pulled his right arm back and let it spark with golden electricity. Both dogs jumped up to bite at Rocky but Mashyuu tossed a bolt of thunder through the air, hitting not only the hounds but the skeletons and the archers in the process. Both Archers fell, the Skeletons didn't seem to mind the blast that much and the hounds fell to their sides before getting back up. Mashyuu jumped up and backwards landing three steps up and then jumped forward, straight over Rocky. "Earth Dragon's Tremor Stomp!" He called out and landed on the ground, sending a shock wave through the floor, keeping the Hounds down while rocks came out and cut at the Dogs legs. The strike wasn't powerful but it was enough to give Mashyuu the time he needed to call upon his blade and fire off a blast from the barrels on the blade into each of the Hounds, causing them to smoke and go up in flames, leaving only a pile of ash in Mashyuu's wake.

Smoke and Ash rose up in the wake of Mashyuu and Rocky's attacks that left the Hell Hounds defenseless. If not for Mashyuu's earth wall the Hounds would have melted the flesh off of Mashyuu's bones, leaving him a dead slayer though. Running his hand over his head Mashyuu waved his right hand and dismissed his silvered blade. "Earth Gauntlets!" He called out and let stones rise up around his arms and lock into place. The three Skeletons rushed Mashyuu and were met with a Slayer slamming a balled up stone fist into the face of one Skeleton, crushing it's bones from the force of Mashyuu's blow. It wasn't enough to drop the beast though and Mashyuu found for his efforts a sword had came down on his left shoulder and almost ripped through his armored jacket. He let his eyes roll in relief of not losing an arm. He drew a sharp breath and reached his right arm back, then swang it forward an a wide arc, dropping the Skeleton in one mighty blow, causing it to rattle and fall to a pile at Mashyuu's feet.

He jumped at the next one in the line and sent a superman punch at it, this fighter was smarter than the last however (If that was even possible) The blow was caught by the undead's shield. It rang out loudly and Mashyuu snarled at the monster. He lifted his foot and slammed it hard into the shield, forcing the Skeleton to fall backwards into it's ally. Rocky jumped right over Mashyuu and crashed into the Skeleton's arm, knocking the shield out of the creatures arm. Mashyuu followed up the strike from Rocky with his own swift strike using both his gauntlet covered arms to crack the undead's skull right open. With it's skull split Mashyuu spun on his feet and reversed his swing, striking the opposite side of the monsters skull and knocking if off the monsters neck. With two of the monsters down Mashyuu raised his hand and called out. "Earth Dragons Stone Fist." Before him a large fist of stone rose up and moved the bones out of the way, then sailed straight into the last skeleton, shattering it in one large blast.

Mashyuu's gauntlets crumbled to the ground in a pile of sand and dirt, rocks falling apart and cracking into the bones and dirt at Mashyuu's feet. The Wizard took a few steps forward when the roof above him slid open and three more of the Skeletons dropped down atop him. "Damn it, how many of you are there?" Just back the hell off!" Mashyuu ordered the creatures and slammed a balled up fist into one of the monsters ribs. His hand passed right between the bones and hit nothing as the creature moved deftly and avoided a heavy handed blow from Mashyuu. "Ughh you guys are gonna make me use up more magic aren't you? I really don't want to either... Earth Dragons War Hammer." Mashyuu called out and let stones float up to form a hammer of magical energy. With hammer in hand Mashyuu smashed the heavy end of it down on the skeleton's shield, making it to heavy to hold and forcing it out of the monsters hand. Again he struck, this time swinging backwards and smashing a Skeleton's blade, destroying it from the sheer force of Mashyuu's attack.

Swiftly Mashyuu dropped low and spun around, cracking both Skeletons around him in the legs and taking the bones out from under them. The monsters fell and found Mashyuu was already attacking both when his hammer smashed into the shield of the one still holding it while his bare fist cracked into the jaw of the unarmed Skeleton. Both monsters rolled up to a seated position while Mashyuu jumped up and over a swipe of a sword. He landed on his feet, kicked out and dislodged the sword out of the Skeleton's hand, sending it skidding down the hall. Mashyuu didn't waste any time and smashed both monsters skulls in with his hammer, the magic of his ring making the blows heavier than they should have been. Both creatures fell lifeless and hit the ground in a thump. By the time Mashyuu had ended the two, Rocky had taken the head off of another and turned it to stone with his magical claws, taking the thread down by himself.

Mashyuu was about to let his hammer crumble to dust when a blast of fire hit his back. The Earth Wizard hit the ground and rolled on his back, looking at a pair of Hell Hounds came rushing from around a corner at Mashyuu and Rocky. One jumped high over Mashyuu and slammed into the Stone Dog, biting down on the Golem while the other Hound grabbed Mashyuu by the ankle. digging deep through his leather boot and dragging him backwards a few feet. He could heel his body still burning from the fire breath the Hound unleashed just a moment ago. He pulled his hammer back and swang it forward, crashing it into the top of the Hounds back, making it whimper and release Mashyuu's leg. Swiftly as possible Mashyuu pulled his legs in and sprang up on his injured legs. His blue eyes darted about from side to side to make sure that he wasn't about to get any more surprises from the hall. This had easily been the worst room he had been in since he joined Sabertooth. Mashyuu let his fangs snake past his lips and he jumped forward. His injured leg came up and slammed into the Hound's mouth while his hammer swept in and grazed the beasts side.

The Hell Hound stumbled to the side from Mashyuu's glancing blow and caught his fist in the nose for it's motion. Mashyuu spun around on his good heel and slammed his hammers hilt into the side of the Hound's head, cracking bone and causing it to cry out in shocked pain. Mashyuu pulled his arm up and dropped his elbow hard into the Hell Hound's neck then followed that up with a solid strike from the heavy end of the hammer, smashing it in the ground in one easy strike. The Wizard twisted around to face the other Hound that was fighting Rocky.

With the Hound and Rocky battling it out Mashyuu was easily able to come up on the Hound and wrap his arms around the torso of the beast. Harshly Mashyuu yanked and took a step back with his inured leg and fell backwards. He tossed the animal through the air and picked his hammer up off the ground. Rocky rolled to it's feet and howled with anger. The Hound bounced and recovered only to find Mashyuu slamming his hammer so hard into the snout of the Hound it caved in and died on impact.

The Hounds dropped at Mashyuu and Rocky's feet then exploded in a blaze of fire, leaving onl ash as evidence they had ever lived to begin with. "Ya know, I've never seen anything like this before Rocky. I'd really rather not fight more of these things if I don't have to. Lets get the heck outta here." Mashyuu said while stepping over the piles do ash and keeping his hammer in hand to assure he had some way to defend himself against either the hounds our skeletal soldiers. Together with Rocky Mashyuu rounded a corner and found himself face to face with a barricade made of ebony coffins. Mashyuu dropped down low and looked at the door way the coffins were blocking off. There was a small opening up top, just enough for someone to snipe through with a well placed arrow or pistol shot.

Without a word Mashyuu extended his hand to show Rocky to hold it's position. His other hand pressed his hand to the wall and sank inside of it, leaving a stone fake in his place. He swam through the wall and shot out of the other side. He rolled to the ground and sprang up on his booted feet. The posture he fell into hid the annoyance in his eyes with his head slanted down, as if he were looking at the floor but he knew the two archers by the blocked off door were waiting for something to come through, just not the way Mashyuu had.

"Hey guys, waiting for your friends? They had bows too right? Yeah they aren't coming back any time soon. I already knocked them out." Mashyuu said casually while straightening out his body. Mashyuu lifted his hammer and hurled it hard, aiming right for one of the archers but it exploded mid air from a shot made by an archer. "Not bad, lets see how ya deal with this one though." Mashyuu called out while he rushed the two men and stood to their left. He raised his hand and from the ground under his palm a spray of stones erupted and knocked both men out. Mashyuu grasped the coffins and dragged them back to their original resting place, clearing the way for Rocky in the process.
