Time stood still for most, the water and fish even held their movements. Very little moved in the city, with the execption of a few people whom were for some reason spared. But among those whom had their time some used their power to conqure, to control, they were your enemies. But they held the faces of those you loved, and held dear, why?

"HUNT THEM DOWN ALL OF THEM!"

This voice was coming from a badly dressed woman with cat traits, she held a commanding presence and felt Familar.

    The woman:

"I want them all dead so i can look at their numbers!."

The woman was talking about the strange numbers that had appeared on everyones necks, but instead of working as a team this woman had turned to violence to get what she wanted. One of her own soldiers said something to her, clearly it displeased her and she struck him down without much explanation.

OCC - Right so i have given you hints in my posts, once you make your first posts i would like you to break up into groups and post somewhere in the Lavantiri port city area. You will all post in this thread mainly cause its such a small group, please be aware i can see the imbalance of rank and power, this has prompted me to assign Cassie at S rank to the Bounty hunters side, agree who is controling her and lets get this going!!! So first off Assassin please act like evil people, you want those numbers off the Bounty hunters necks, how you get them... i don't care :P. Bounty hunters you also want those numbers but.... well yeah good guys and stuffs. so post people, i will give more hints as we go on. So lets get going and have fun, remember while this is a contest it is also just a game.... Shall we play a game:P.  Posting order will be set by who posts first, 48 hour rule will be in effect with a 2 skips possiable if your skipped a third time you will  be removed from the event. I will throw stuff at both side, little challenges, for now just start.

And while you are sitting indoors
waiting for the storm to pass
I will be outside dancing in the rain

    Numbers.
They were doing this for numbers. Well, more like their leader was doing this for the numbers. Why? She didn't know, could care less actually. If she had explained to them the reason Astrid hadn't been listening. All that mattered to her was that she got to beat people up. Ooh, maybe murder someone too. That'd be nice.

At Kakuma's order the assassin placed her arms behind her head lazily, red eyes blinking dully as she cast a glance towards the cat woman, muttering a "whatever" before beginning to walk towards the center of the city.
She wasn't doing this for some numbers. She was doing this for sport. Killing off these impostors would be like hunting deer in the middle of a field full of flowers. If she got numbers while doing it, good. Maybe she could cash them in for little prizes later on.
Now that she thought about it, maybe it as more like on of those little arcade games instead of hunting. Get enough heads, win a bear plush or something. Though in the end she was hoping for much more than a useless stuffed toy to hang on her wall.
Besides, the concept of getting to kill herself was pretty fun. There could only be one Astrid Foss after all, and that was her.
She just hoped the alternate her wasn't a weak crybaby, otherwise that'd just ruin the fun. Fighting someone equal to you proved so much more than making a stupid baby bleed.

The mage chose a decent spot atop of one of the many houses inside the city, climbing her way up the bricked wall steadily before shuffling herself on to the side of the roof, sitting up in a crouched position, centering her weight on both legs to hold her up. Her hard look studied the gray, motionless city, lips pursed in a frown.
    The game began.

A man stood silently in a kitchen twirling a knife that was covered in blood. With a swift motion he held the knife to his lips and licked the blood from it. Immediately, he spat it out on the corpse that rested at his feet. "Horrible vintage." he said and then kicked the man away sending him face first into a wall. "You call yourself a man of fine of taste? A chef? You are no chef. You are...a mere cook and not even a good one at that." He picked up a bit of roast chicken and tore a strip off with his teeth. "Mint? On Chicken? What were you thinking?" He extended his hand towards the body and from it streamed what appeared to be a white, semi-translucent liquid. It flowed straight into his mouth. "At least your spirit wasn't too tainted I guess. I'd say try harder next time, but there isn't a next time for you" He picked up the body and began to head towards the exit.

He walked past an oven flicking some of the hobs to let gas flow into the room and then stepped towards the door. A match formed in his hand and he struck it against the stubble of his beard and flicked it over his shoulder towards the gas. As it hit the gas ignited causing a massive explosion. The crimson haired man just smiled and closed the door behind him. He'd been ordered to find 'numbers' for Kakuma and he would do that. But he would also look for ingredients. Unlike the Magna, that was normally seen in this world anyway, this man had a favourite type of ingredient. That was humans and he was quite the connoisseur. Normally, his preferred one was chefs. That is why he'd gone to the nearest kitchen. Sadly, he'd not found anything worth it in the first kitchen.

A Mirror and incipid reflectshons 229759

He tossed the body at Kakuma's feet. "A number for you. Hopefully, dead and spiritless isn't an issue for you." he said calmly stretching. He was quite unlike the Magna of the real world. He was older for one thing and more muscular. His hair was a bit longer and his eyes were constantly red with seriousness. Why not be serious in everything you do after all.

”I need you to find out if my husband’s cheating on me and who the hussy is!”

’What a boooooring request.’ The age-old “mistress on the side” bit hardly entertained the girl currently scrounging around through drawers. Utensils clinked and clanked as she mushed them about, gloves on her hands so she didn’t accidentally poke herself – and maybe something about fingerprints. Truth be told she wasn’t quite sure what to look for even if she really tried, more poking around out of vague curiosity. The woman managed to shuffle her husband out on errands, much to his dismay, and leave her the opportunity to snoop around.

Instead she ended up in one of their underwear drawers.

The kitchen held too many normal things so she’d shifted to a new room, a more personal room, and one that…may or may not prove more insight. ’Doubtful unless there’s something he forgot to hide. Probably easier to go to a hotel though…this woman’s way too nitpicky so he’d have to pay attention to far too many details.’ His boxers were somewhat interesting, a few plaid prints and even a smiley face and a heart set. She chucked them right back in though and moved onto one filled with far more lacy things. ’Oh my, who knew someone who acted so snooty and prudish could have such a collection! Oooh la la~

The summoner amused herself going through them, holding them up and making similar comments until she hit something more solid and pulled it out. Blinking a few times curiosity got the best of her and she hit a button, watching the man dance like some Santa Claus statues at Christmas. It offered her a lovely fit of giggles – easily the most amusement she’d had all day – before plopping it back into the bottom of the drawer and moving onto the brazier one. One of the lovely lace, black bras might’ve been temporarily used as a pair of ears while she raised her voice.

Tossing into the drawer without a care and forgetting to close it entirely something caught her eye on the ground. A particular pair of panties just barely jutted out from beneath the bed’s long comforter, the thing nearly reaching the ground. This pair stood out though as something classier and as she picked them up – careful to hold them at the sides – she determined that they must’ve gone on a far more important butt than her client’s.

    He was cheating.

    With someone better.

’Well I guess that solves that. I should probably just tell her to start looking for someone new, something tells me she’s not going to win this one.’ Shade whistled a little tune as she placed the important items into a plastic bag as the person may or may not want them back. She supposed her next job would be finding the owner before breaking the news to the wife. ’To be fair though, whoever these belong to could also probably do better. Well maybe the woman slighted her somehow?’

Ruminal just stared at the cat women with blank glazed over eyes. It was as if all emotion had left him long ago, but he was listening very carefully to what Kakuma had to say. Ruminal's outfit was black as night and his hair was a dark gray color complete with cat ears and a cat tail. The women that spoke to everyone was non other than Ruminal's own mother. It was then he heard Astrid mutter a word under her breath. He slowly turned his head over into her direction and saw her walk away towards town. He heard what it was she said, it was a comment of disappointment. Ruminal thought to himself that she might have her own agenda in mind and decided to follow her and keep and eye on her.  Ruminal wanted to get Kakuma these numbers she spoke of but had no means of doing so if a fight were to break out, not without help.

It seemed like Astrid was making her way towards the center of town. Ruminal followed a bit behind her walking slowly. He was in no hurry to find the first of those with these numbers, he knew they would reveal themselves in time. His main  concern right now was Astrid, she had to have known he was following her by this point but she hasn't said a word yet. Ruminal made no effort to hid his presence cause he didn't care, if she decided to attack him he wouldn't care. It would only prove that she truly did have an alternate agenda then the rest of us. But as it stands right now, Ruminal was following her to where ever she was going without saying a word.

Izayuki Hyoujin ♦ Black Rose ♦ B Rank

The argument was a simple one at that. Which was better? There could only be one winner! There could only be one loser! There was no such thing as a draw or a tie in this case! Never!

    She would not allow it.

Waffles were better than pancakes! There was no question or doubt about it! Yet the person before her, long pink hair, pigtails, and a pink dress, obviously felt the need to admit otherwise. So the challenge continued, with both sides making their points as logical as possible. The tanuki yokai ate waffles on a regular basis, preferring frozen toaster waffles, namely eggos. She would go as far as raiding her guildmates' freezers just to find the amazing delicacies! If there was one thing on par with red velvet cake, it was definitely the amazing breakfast food: the waffle.

Pancakes had cake in their name, and as such, were a lie. Izayuki was going on to explain that, and while red velvet cake was also cake, it was not a lie. That was a different subject for debate though, and both parties were getting rather heated and passionate about their beliefs in their favorite breakfast food. Only one thing stopped it, and that was the general feeling of foreboding and the shift in the types of scents in the vicinity. Suddenly, a tinge of blood had been added to the atmosphere, and usually Lavantir only smelled of fish and seasalt. Human blood was rare to sense in the town she now knew so well, unless the obvious had been committed. Suddenly angry that she was unable to continue on with her discussion, pink eyes narrowed at the pancake-lover and spoke in a low, intimidating, daring voice. "This isn't over," she vowed, before leaping up high into the air and onto the top of a building at extremely fast speeds.

Closing her eyes for a moment, the Ace of Stigma kept her silver ears and sense of smell alert. Pinpointing a general direction where blood had been shed, Izayuki re-opened her pink eyes and dashed off. Why had she not noticed this before with the girl from before? Some people around them in the city were frozen in place... just what in the world was going on? Leaping from roof to roof, the tanuki yokai unsheathed her claws, feeling suddenly wary and uncertain. Whatever was going on was not natural, and as an Ace of Black Rose, it was simply one of her duties to figure out what the hell was happening and to put a stop to it.

Stepping off the ferry that was now in Laventir port, a brown spikey haired boy carrying a duffle bag and a sword, dressed in a red jacket andd some tan khakis walked out and looked around, he recieved a correspondance saying he needed to be there to be able to get ready for him and a few others to get hired on some jobs.

He sighed and looked around for anyone looking like him, lost and confused as all hell in the world. Reason why he was confused, nothing was right..it was all...still, no motion no nothing he barely got to port when he saw it all stop which sorta shocked him immensely, Kaisto didnt trust it and drew his sword and walked more slowly and cautiously around, something was admist here and it wasnt settling good with his stomach...maybe that was the fish he had early...naaaaah it was this here that was churning his stomach.

Kaisto was really much of a fan of all this right now and was getting more and more ticked off not knowing what was happening all around him, maybe the someone was at least not stuck, so he took off rushing into the port city to try and just find someone...someone like him.

    ❊ Hiraeth ❊
Perched upon one of the many rooftops, a frilly-haired mage rest, a bottle in one hand and a brush in the other. He took a long swig from the jar of alcohol, downing nearly half of it in a single go, and looking slightly disappointed. Setting the bottle down, he'd shakily move the brush, combing his fingers through his hair with his empty had and pulling it over his shoulder. Despite how grungy and beggar-ish he looked, Marschal was a man who knew how to keep himself well groomed in spite. The brush raggedly drew through his hair, tearing out the snarls that had once laid claim to his hair as it being their home. Occasionally, a growl emitted from his throat as he ran the brush through an especially hard snarl, working it out slowly. Marschy breathed in deeply, then set the brush down at his side and took another swig of the bottle of alcohol resting next to him.

As he went to pick the brush up again, he barely noticed the stench of blood reach his nostrils, and when he did, he set the brush back down. Curiously, the young man slid down from his place on the rooftop, landing harshly, but on his two feet, when he hit. Pursing his lips, he flicked his hair back over his shoulder and sauntered down the streets of Lavintir Port City. Closing his eyes, the felinistic male breathed in deeply, taking in the luxurious scent of blood that he had come accustom to. His eyes cracked open, the pupils showing to be dilated to slits, and he followed the smell like a hound chasing a rabbit. Things here appeared to be much more different than when he had last seen them. . . if he could recall last seeing them. Unfortunately, a knock to the head and a bit of unfamiliar alcohol had caused Marschal to lose most of his memories.

Falling to all fours now, the mage picked up his pace and reached the chaotic destination in which the smell had brought him. His upper half drew upward, his nose reaching outward, once again drawing in the tainted scent of blood on the air. He ran his tongue over his lips and for a moment, he craved the taste of it on his tongue, only to realize that this was human blood. As much as he loved the taste and smell of it, humans were not creatures that he was capable of eating without remorse. In fact, he would much rather fuck one of them than eat them. . . or perhaps fuck them first, then eat them depending on how he felt. For the most part though, he simply liked leaving people in a state of ecstasy whenever he happened to be around them. Flicking his ears forward, Marschal listened intently for what would be the sound of the next victim, though nothing seemed to come.

Moaning could be heard from the closed in room, loud moans from two people; one male and one female. The moan of the woman was clearly of pleasure, while the man's had a pained sound alongside sobbing to it. Inside that room, to the surprise of anyone that might have opened the door, was a woman that looked just like Aiyana but in a very different style of clothing; one that was not quite passable for being in the public eye. The mask on her face was painted with a third eye, no holes in it to allow vision, and had the form of a fox. A choker that seemed to be stabbing into her throat while also being sharp on the outside had a single charm attached to it; the glowing jewelry glowing steadily brighter as blood dripped from her mouth to touch it.

"Mmm, your blood is delicious. It's sad I don't have time to have more fun with you, there was so much we could have done. But my god says not to tarry upon one person for too long. There is much pleasure to give and receive, and the mark upon your neck will provide me rewards beyond your wildest dreams." The words were spoken as he mouth drew ever closer to the man's neck, who continued to sob as blood left his closed mouth; his tongue gone from a previous kiss with the mistress before him. The chains on her shoulders would jingle lightly as she bit the soft skin of the one before her, the numbers tattooed there being peeled off and put into her hand afterwards. "For the god of pleasure, may your death bring even more to them!" The choker was pushed into his throat as she forced a kiss upon him, killing him with it as the final strike, before she stepped back with a laugh before leaving the building entirely. There was more to collect, more to do, more to bring pleasure to the one that only thought of that single word.

    Aiyana for this event~:

The woman looked at the body deposited at her feet, she smiled and knelt down and used her claws to remove the number from its neck. She freed the number and licked the back, cleaning the blood from it.

"good... thank you for bring me lunch..."

The woman jabbed her claws into the mans chest and pulled back the rib cage, which broke as she pulled, which she tossed aside. She ripped the heart from the open chest cavity and stood, taking a bite of it as she did. She looked at the number as while she chewed, after a moment she cast the bloody piece aside.

"Good job now get the rest of them"

With that she walked out into the city alone, she didn't make it far before she was accosted by some men in strange armor. Six men ran out of a alleyway and pointed what the woman figured was a weapon at her.

    "Hand up now!"

The woman raised a eyebrow and smiled, more food, she started laughing. The men looked at each other, only to scream out as on was jumped on by the woman, his pained cry becoming a griggle as she ripped out his throat. She spit the piece out as the other recovered quickly, they opened fire as she jumped backwards. She was to fast for them and all six ended up dead in less then a few minutes and then she feed, her face and body covered in blood and gore. she finished her meal quickly taking a piece with her as she talked to herself.

"So the first guy was wearing some kind of police uniform he had a 9 the other 6 had 2's... hmmm"

And while you are sitting indoors
waiting for the storm to pass
I will be outside dancing in the rain

Of course she had known Ruminal was following her. Since he had no means of hiding his presence whatsoever he stuck out like a sore thumb against the gray, dull city. Did she care? Not really, obvious by her not calling him out or attacking him by now. She wasn’t stupid. She knew doing anything to their leader’s one and only son would lead to some very undesirable consequences. No matter how much it annoyed her to have a little creature following her everywhere she went, she couldn’t do anything about it. He was there to stay, for whatever reason.
As she dug her shoes more into the tiled roof Astrid cast her crimson gaze backwards, blinking at the feline boy. He hadn’t said a word to her yet, nothing like what she imagined a normal child to be like. Shouldn’t he be yelling at the top of his lungs and drooling everywhere? He wasn’t normal.
What was his deal anyway? Why did he have to specifically follow her and act creepy? Why not someone else? The more she thought about it, the more it irritated her. She wanted to be left alone, to go about killing people by herself. She didn’t want extra baggage to worry about. Kakuma should really put him on a leash… Or whatever cats used.
Astrid let out a huff through her nose. “Oi, pipsqueak” she called over to him, her tone lazy. “I don’t give a shit why you’re so persistent on following me. Just don’t get in my way.” If she wasn’t going to get rid of him, the least she could do was warn him. If he made a wrong move on her she wasn’t afraid to cut him in half, no matter what Kakuma would end up doing to her as punishment. Just following her was fine, however if he planned on snatching up her catch or trying to kill her she would risk anything to stay alive, even if it was just for a little longer. Though with his size she doubted he could really do anything to her. Maybe bite at her ankles a bit.

“Help! My baby!” A high pitched shrill caught the assassin’s attention, making her flick her gaze back to the town. The calls continued as they echoed throughout the city, confusing Astrid slightly. Because of the echos she couldn’t get a direct location on where it was coming from. She would have to wait.
The calls stopped suddenly, the only sound being light footsteps.
After a moment of silence the woman appeared in the open space below her, tripping over herself as her shouts continued.
“My baby! She won’t move! Please help! Anyone!”
It was her chance. A smirk overtook her features as she climbed over the edge and jumped down, landing on her feet daintily right before the hysterical woman. The woman froze at first, like she was studying the assassin to make sure she was actually there before she spoke again.
“You!” she gasped, holding her hands over her mouth in surprised, realization laced in her eyes. “You’re that sweet violinist from the guild!”
Violinist? Sweet? She wasn’t any of those things… Astrid paused, tilting her head in confusion before it dawned on her. Ah, she was mistaking her for the alternative her. Oh man, how rich. She inwardly laughed. Her alternate self was a damn musician. And on top of that she was kind. Pathetic. She was probably frail too in that case. What a shame. It looked like if they ever did meet she could win with a single slice before the other her could even slide that little bow across the strings. A little disappointing but it couldn’t be helped.

Without letting her get a word in the woman grabbed both of Astrid’s shoulders tightly, staring into her eyes widely.
“Please you must help! My child she cannot move! In fact many people can’t move! This must be the work of ma-”
She was cut off by a hand stabbing through her stomach. Astrid’s dull expression brightened as she stared down at the woman, feeling her grip upon her shoulders loosen as her arms dropped back to her sides. Letting out weak chokes and cries before they became small gurgles the woman looked up to the mage, expression shocked.
A disgruntled hum emitting from Astrid’s lips she forcefully removed her arm from the lady’s body, causing it to fall to the ground with a small thud, red blood dripping from the wound quickly, pooling around the corpse. All life had left it.
Now she didn’t put much much of a fight, did she? It was her own fault. You didn’t touch someone so roughly, it could cause ‘accidents’. Blame it on human instincts, assassin training, or whatever you wanted.
Using a foot to force the neck to turn as she looked over her kill she spotted a number upon it. Ah yes, right, the mission. She had almost forgotten about it. Now, to carry this back somehow…
She could easily carry something like this back with no problem, but well, the blood traveling up her entire arm was getting quite messy, and it would be a shame if the blood somehow got on the number. An excuse for being lazy in all honesty… But she had someone else here. So she would take advantage of him however she could.
A bloodied hand resting on her jaw Astrid looked to Ruminal, offering a sickly sweet smile.

“Kitty? Would you be a dear and fetch that body? I’m afraid it’s awfully heavy for a delicate flower like me.” Since he didn’t do any of the killing, he could be her personal body wagon. It was only fair after all. He wasn’t following her just to look pretty. If he was going to stick by her he had to do his part.
