it's p o k e r, you can't
see it in my face
but i'm about to
play my a c eThe Blue Pegasus guild symbol blared at her on the banner that hung on the huge building, in the shade of a clear, blue sky. Narrowing her eyes at it, the Ice Dragon Slayer dropped the cigarette that she had just finished onto the ground and stepped on it before setting her feet in the guildhall as two long lines of smoke escaped her nostrils. It was a large space, like the Sabertooth guildhall, but it was not floating in the air. For a moment, she just stood still, taking in the interior of the establishment as she breathed the scent of it deeply. She would walk further in, paying no heed to what might happen to her for intruding into private property. The building was still an asset owned by the guild, which means she could be sued for stepping into it without permission. Footfalls ceased at the end of a long and wide corridor, an opening to another large spacious section of the guild. “Hm.”
Sanguine optics bounced around said section, once again examining its contents carefully and keeping her guard up for anyone who might pull a sneak attack on her for invading the guild, which wasn’t what she was trying to do anyway. Lynn was here in the first place because she was in search of a place that could be her new home, since she had left the Sabertooth guild, and there was no going back now. She had put up with the others long enough, but since they could not give her the homey feeling that Raven gave her, she couldn’t call it a home anymore. It felt empty, and annoying, knowing that not only Raven was gone, but also Hikari. Lynn needed a reset button to her life, and here she was, already inside the guild building of Blue Pegasus because she never learned to knock.
If anyone were to show up at this point, she would say to them, “I seek the guildmaster of Blue Pegasus.” Quite bluntly. She would have to apologize about the cigarette breath though. Lynn had left her guardian, Zlatan, outside, because she didn’t want to scare anyone in the guild with the monstrosity there. More importantly, she didn’t want to seem like she was attacking the guild, and bringing in the ferocious lion didn’t appeal as the best idea to avoid that. If nobody showed up, she would probably just turn around and leave and travel to another guild’s location.
