A thousand shadows loomed towards them, some on buildings, some on low ground. Lynn looked around frantically, now in a stance that was battle ready. Their enemies had appeared slower than she had wanted them to, but now that they were here, she was kind of shocked at how many of them were there. “This is bad,” she told Elyx in a slightly shaky voice. It was not the end of it. One of the shadows kind of somersaulted down one of the buildings and landed in front of all the other shadows, making some kind of an entrance move and raising his weapon before introducing himself as ‘Rhask’. He said something about meeting his crew that was going to beat Lynn and Elyx into a pulp for being nosy little bitches. That made Lynn burst out into a fit of untamable laughter. “Oh my god, that was funny,” she said through breaths she struggled to take. Clearing her throat she looked at Elyx. The man known as ‘Rhask’ was done with his introduction it seemed because he disappeared in some kind of smoke. “Hm, well, looks like he’ll come back later?” she asked Elyx, then turned to the shadows that got closer to them and became humans, a great number of them wearing dark cloaks and masks, the darkness mage getup, while about a second group with smaller numbers wearing lesser dark clothes as they approached more cautiously. “I’ll take the weaker ones,” Lynn told her partner.
