Description: Originally unable to cast spells at all, Eli has pursued the ability to cast magic on his own for his own life. Born with an naturally high supply of MP, any time he tried to cast magic the sheer power that flowed out of him wouldn't allow it to work. However, after making contact and a contract with a parasite of unknown origin, Eli was finally given access to the magic he so long desired. He lives in a symbiotic relationship with the parasite now, making use of it's natural shadow magic as his own. Illusionary and not naturally from this plane of existence, the magic is adapt at dealing with other spellcasters. Eli now shares his MP with the parasite, each casting their own spells in tandem from separate MP pools. The magic, labeled "Shadow Strike" by Eli, is best used to take out individual targets as well as hide his presence.

He shows no regard for honor or fair combat, fighting dirty and employing any underhanded method necessary for victory. He prefers to go after other heavy spellcasters, since his spells often benefit from his opponent casting spells. He strikes quick and efficiently, not allowing anyone the chance to recover or gain ground. His magic isn't able to handle long drawn out fights, instead hoping to end the fights quickly.

Strengths:
- Versatile; A lot of Eli's spells prefer to be versatile over strong, allowing him to be reactive in most situations he finds himself in.
- Anti-Mage; Eli's magic is best at taking mage characters, allowing him to pick them off and try to take them out quickly. This helps him excel in one on one fights as well.
- Deception; Eli's magic is amazing at espionage and stealth jobs, allowing him to quickly eliminate single targets as well as go completely unnoticed during missions.
Weaknesses:
- Single Target; Almost all of Eli's magic is based around single targets, meaning when he has to deal with a group he is at a massive disadvantage.
- Physical Enemies; Eli's magic is based around dealing with mage characters, meaning he struggles against warrior like ones. Anyone with better physical combat skills or physical strength is difficult for him to deal with.
- Damage; Few of Eli's spells deal offensive damage, making him rely mostly on melee damage. This can be make dealing with long range characters difficult, as well as people who have resistance to physical attacks.
- Low Mana; Because of the shared MP between him and the parasite, Eli cannot use his MP easily, having to value each spell he casts carefully/
Lineage:
- Aspect of Terra:
Description: Terra was a goddess whose domain was over the earth. Hailed as "Mother Earth" Terra's influence was a fairly broad one with two major highlights: Earth, and Fertility. Terra's influence brings itself to bare within the host as an influence over the earth.
Ability: The aspect of Terra grants its host some of it's influence over ground and stone based magics. Their own earthen magic can only be consumed by god slayers. Earth magic costs 5% extra when targeting the host and they are 30% resistant to the element. The host can spend half of the magical energy a earth spell to nullify it(max S-rank).
Gains a user-ranked Earth-based signature spell. (S-rank Max) It must be made in the magic app as normal in addition to spells made.
Usage: Passive, 3 post cooldown on nullification. Can only be used three times per thread.
- Dual Nature; Because Eli share's his body with the parasite, they each have their own section of MP. Eli starts each thread with 80% MP, while the parasite feasts off Eli's excess and starts with 70%. Since the parasite gets it's MP from Eli, it does not regenerate naturally, instead of other effects or by taking 10% of Eli's, with a cooldown of 3 posts. Eli regenerates MP naturally however. When casting spells, Eli can only use his MP bar for spells he casts, while the parasite uses it's MP for it's own spells, with each spell being labeled as either Eli's or the parasites.
- Unique Bio-System; The parasites presence inside Eli's body has made some changes to how it functions on some levels, as well as how it reacts to magic. The parasite's other-wordly biology makes it immune to most debilitations experience, and that is shared with Eli. Eli is considered immune to negative status effects caused by spell. Eli still takes physical damage and suffers from physical effects, but magically induced effects on him are nullified. He will still take any damage they deal to him however. This passive can be overpowered by mages of a higher-rank.
- Combo Attack; Whenever Eli lands a physical attack on a target, all of his active buffs are extended by 1 post. This effect applies to all buffs currently on him, but will only apply on consecutive melee attacks. Should he go a post without landing on, the effect ends, and he can no longer benefit from this effect until all buffs on him expire.
- Aura Mastery; Eli is a master at controlling his own magical presence, able to completely erase it from people's detection. As such, to anyone who sees him he would appear as a simple, magicless person, without any hint of his power or MP. As well, any time that Eli casts a spell, there is no hint or magic or anything being amiss, making his casting undetectable by anyone. This effect only applies to passive magic detection. Using active detection is half effective at equal rank with him, and fully effective at higher ranks.

Description: Eli empowers his melee attacks with the power of Earth latent inside him, increasing his physical strength vastly. While active, Eli deals additional C Rank Earth damage on attack.

Strengths:- Physical Strength; Eli has very little physical strength, this spell allowing him to amplify it for more sturdy enemies.
- Weapon; This spell works on any melee attack Eli doesn't, regardless of weapon. This means if disarmed, it allows Eli to have some weight to his attacks regardless.
Weaknesses:- Duration; The spell has a fairly short duration, making it easy for enemies to simply to wait out it's duration.
- Melee; The buff only applies to Eli's melee attacks, meaning ranged enemies can easily avoid it's effects, or any who can dodge his melee attacks.
- Simple; This spell has very little extra effects or powers on it, making it less versatile than anything else he has.
Name Shadow Spikes

Description: Extending tendril's out from Eli's shadow, the parasite attempts to stab at an enemy. The tendrils are made up of solidified shadow, and can only extend up to 15m away from Eli. The shadows are strong and versatile, able to take any shape for the attack, but the thicker the tendrils the slower they are.

Strengths:- Versatility; The shadow spikes are able to take almost any form provided the correct lighting, and as such can be difficult to adapt to. So long as Eli uses this correctly, it can keep most opponents on their toes.
- Costless;The parasite struggles with casting spells since it only regenerates MP by stealing it from Eli. Having a spell it can cast without MP cost allows it to do things in rougher situations.
Weaknesses:- Light; The shadows are made from Eli's shadow, and are affected by the light of the area. They cannot stretch into very bright areas, nor can they be used without any light to make a shadow.
- Strength; The shadows don't hit very hard, favoring versatility instead of power. As such, they can almost be shrugged off by tougher opponents.
- Predictable; The shadows aren't very subtle, being deep black tendrils that extend from his shadow. This makes them particularly easy to spot and prepare for, as well as avoid or brace for.
- Physical Strength; Eli has very little physical strength, this spell allowing him to amplify it for more sturdy enemies.

Description: Eli steps through the shadows, disappearing and re-appearing behind a target. Eli must have direct line of sight of the target, and they cannot have anything blocking the area behind them. Eli can travel up to 15m with this spell.

Strengths:- Movement; When dealing with difficult enemies to keep under control, Eli can use this spell to close the distance to them, allowing him to gain control of the situation.
- Escape; Eli can also use this spell to duck behind an ally gaining cover from an attack or dodging someones attention.
Weaknesses:- Walls; Eli needs room to appear behind the target, meaning that if they have a wall or another object to their back, he can't cast the spell.
- Physical; This spell puts Eli into physical combat with an enemy, something he doesn't completely excel at. Using this against physically stronger enemies is very risky and could easily turn on him.
- Line of Sigght; Eli needs to be able to see the target to appear behind them, making getting behind enemies with cover difficult if not impossible.

Description: The parasite emits an illusionary spell, bending the shadows around him to prevent site. Within a 1m radius of Eli, all targets are protected from site, the light redirected by the shadows and making them invisible to normal sight. The targets can still be sensed by those with good magical perception, but their exactly location would remain hidden. A rank or higher mages can see through this spell.

Strengths:- Stealth; This spell allows both Eli and people around him stealth, meaning they can infiltrate enemy lines with detection easily.
- Concealment; This spell makes all people within range of Eli invisible to those outside, not just allies. This can be used to hide enemies from other enemies or conceal attacks Eli is making.
Weaknesses:- Rank; Higher level mages can see through the spell, rendering it essentially useless around them. As well, mages with apt magical power sensing can still notice Eli skulking around.
- Range; The spell only extends 1m around Eli, making it very difficult to hide more than a handful of people with him.
- Sound; The spell only conceals them visually, not in any other way. This means any sounds they make can still be heard by others, and means it requires utmost stealth from those involved.
Name Shadowblades

Description: The parasite releases 3 powerful bursts of energy from Eli's hand, zoning in and hitting up to 3 targets. The blast is small and black, shaping itself like a crescent. Each does 25% D rank damage, but also applies any extra effects to Eli's melee attacks. The blasts can track people up to 20m, but cannot go through walls and can be blocked.

Strengths:- Range; This spell is one of Eli's few ways to hurt an enemy at range, allowing him to deal with long range enemies.
- Melee Effects; This spell applies Eli's effects from his melee attacks, letting him get their bonus effects on targets as he's closing distance.
Weaknesses:- Block; The spell doesn't travel through walls, making it easy to dodge should someone duck behind cover.
- Low Damage; The spell hits for a very minimal amount of damage, especially if Eli doesn't have any extra effects on his melee attacks activated.
- Parasite; Since the spell is cast by the parasite, it drains it's limited mana pool, making it's casts limited.

Description: Eli empowers his melee attacks, causing them to deal minor shadow damage and amplify an enemies damage taken. Anyone hit by Elis melee attacks empowered by this spell takes 50% D rank shadow damage, and has their damage taken from Eli's spells increased by 5%, stacking up to 5 times. This debuff lasts for 3 Posts.

Strengths:- Curses; This spell combo's well with his other melee attack increases spells, amplifying their damage and making it much harder for people to take his physical attacks.
- Spells; Eli's few spells that do damage don't do a particularly high amount, making this spell more important to amplify their damage.
Weaknesses:- Melee; This spell requires Eli to be in physical range for effect, meaning if the enemy can keep distance it has no effect.
- Stacks; For the spell to truly be effective, Eli has to get multiple stacks on the enemy, which can be very difficult against most targets.
- Damage; Eli has very few spells that deal damage, meaning this spell has few synergies with most of his spells.
- Movement; When dealing with difficult enemies to keep under control, Eli can use this spell to close the distance to them, allowing him to gain control of the situation.

Name Mirror Image

Type: Shadow, Illusion, Parasite
Description: The parasite summons it's power to create a temporary clone of Eli. The clone is solid and can interact with things, but has a diminished power compared to Eli, as well as being unable to cast spells. For combat purposes the clone is considered a D rank mage with 50 max health. The clone is visually identical to Eli at the moment of casting, made up of solidified shadow. The clone moves according to Eli's will, acting just like him and following Eli's subconscious plans. The clone has any buff effects Eli has active, and gains a copy of his current weapon. It keeps any special effects the weapon has, but any damage caused by the weapon is treated as D rank physical damage. Anything the clone sees or experiences Eli knows as well. The parasite may also create a temporary clone any other character, but it's duration is halved in this case. The behavior of the clone is identical to the Eli clone; nothing more than a different outward appearance. Eli must have seen the target he wishes to clone at some point, and may only clone them as he has seen them. The parasite may take over one of these clones to communicate with Eli however. When this occurs, it loses all combat stats and goes down to 1 health but has infinite duration.

Strengths:- Two Bodies; Using this spell allows Eli access to the use of two bodies, enabling him to do things otherwise impossible without it.
- Deception; The clone is an incredibly useful tool for deceiving others, able to imitate many people's appearance and trick them.
Weaknesses:- Strength; The clone is a weak comparison to Eli physically, who is already below average in that category. As such, it is very easily defeated when coming to direct blows.
- No-Magic; The clone is unable to access any of Eli's spells or abilities, which is where most of Eli's power lies.
- Obvious; The clone appears directly beside Eli when summoned, manifesting out of thin air. This makes it very easy to tell which is him and which is the clone unless Eli casts it beforehand or behind cover.
Name Dark Bargain

Type: Shadow, Defensive, Eli
Description: Eli entraps and seals any spell cast by a mage in his direct line of sight, outside of take-over and summoning spells or holder magic. Upon cast, this spell cancels the opponents spell and seals it away, allowing Eli access to it later. Within 2 posts of sealing a spell, Eli may release it for himself, re-directing it at the enemy. The spell cannot be B rank or higher, and the target must be within 5m of Eli at the time of casting. If not recast within 2 posts the spell fades.

Strengths:- Cancelling; Eli can use this when he's caught in a tough situation to completely reverse it, turning an opponents spell into his own.
- Duration; Eli doesn't have to cast the spell immediately upon stealing it, instead able to wait a few moments for a better opportunity to employ it.
Weaknesses:- Defensive; The spell requires the opponent to cast a spell, meaning if they don't do that in his line of sight Eli cannot steal one.
- Range; Eli has to be within almost close quarters to use this spell on an enemy, meaning if he is unable to close that distance he can't steal the spell.
- Types; Eli cannot steal Holder, Summoning or Takeover magic, meaning people who employ them never have to worry about this attack.

Description: Eli empowers his melee attacks, causing them to debuff anyone affected by them. While debuffed, any time the target casts a spell, Eli gains 2% MP. This effect lasts for 2 Posts, and can be stacked up to 5 times.

Strengths:- Anti-Mage; This debuff is very effective against enemies who rely on spells, allowing Eli to limit their options and regain MP for the fight.
- Combo; This spell does very well with Eli's other curse spells, allowing him to increase his physical attacks to powerful threats.
Weaknesses:- Melee; The spell requires melee contact for Eli to gain any advantage off it, meaning if enemies can avoid melee combat it does nothing.
- Spells; The curse only affects the enemy if they cast spells while debuffed, meaning if they simply avoid casting spells nothing really happens from the spell.
- Damage; The spell doesn't deal any additional damage, simply debuffing the enemy. This ties in with Eli's weakness of a lack of direct offensive spells, instead favoring versatility.
- Two Bodies; Using this spell allows Eli access to the use of two bodies, enabling him to do things otherwise impossible without it.
