This should be far enough(Private - Mashyuu)

After escaping Raiza, and that ice woman whom Chloe refered to as the 'ugly cold fluffy' she found herself no longer looking back once she had escaped passed the forests near phoenix mountains. However, she didn't stop there, but instead continued on through the desert until she eventually reached her first sight of civilization. That civilization was the Desert Village. Approaching the village, a smell in the air tingled Chloe's nose. Instinctively her body lowered as she was getting closer and closer as if she was stalking out the village rather than calmly entering it like a normal person. Then again, she wasn't exactly a normal person either.

Though she circled the village at least twice over, she eventually found herself entering the village quietly and hopefully unnoticed. The feline woman finally making her way to a nearby well. The scent of water filled her nose like fresh food. Though it compared nothing to meat or flesh, she was still far too skittish to try anything. Though the nearby children, unattended, did look like a fresh meal. Ignoring that fact, she would find herself pawing at the water trying to drink some before running away into an alleyway the moment she heard a crack of a twig near her. Her movements were fluid enough it could be mistaken as if she did this all her life. Right down to her waiting in the alleyway to see if the 'thing' that caused the twig snap would be following her or not, if they didn't appear to be a threat then it would be free food - Delivery style.

Sleep, it's all Mashyuu wanted after the past five or six adventures he had been on. He was fairly sure he was going to be a father, stopped an entire masked guild from killing the Magic Council, Trapped some Werewolves, Fought his Guild Master just to see where he stood in line of power, among other things. Mashyuu slipped to a small well and placed his back to it, slumping and hanging his head while he softly dozed off. The smell and sound of children filled his senses but shortly after his tired body fell he smelled a cat coming closer and heard the sound of water moving. A strange sense of possible danger filled Mashyuu and a magical aura gently pushed against his.

The Slayer twisted and shot around to her flank, cracking a twig with his swift motions. He glared around seeing that she was already gone but he had her scent. Casually his eyes turned to look down the alley. He bent over and put his back to the woman, letting a small shadow in front of him rise up. The Earth Slayer instructed his small dark companion to vanish and re appear in the alley behind the woman and watch her carefully. Gleefully the monster nodded up and down and vanished in a dark shadow, only to re appear behind the Cat lady some seven feet away from her.

At first, Chloe thought she escaped the possible fight yet her instincts told her to stay hidden. He own sense of smell and hearing was only equivalent to that of a feline, and with this desert weather it became harder to try and even use those senses. Yet she did, and could tell what ever it was, was drawing closer. Was it someone small?? A curious little child? Yes?! maybe! Easy food? The thought of a fresh quick meal filled her mind as she looked forward still hunched over unaware if the creature was going to come towards her. She couldn't see him yet after all. In fact, she was still hiding behind a pile of trash and boxes, waiting to spring when they were closer.

Completely unaware of the thing that had actually gotten behind her, even more so because it refused to make a sound as her body still tensed up. A low growl could be heard coming from the young woman as if she was still primal in some ways. Her nails began to extend out two whole inches from her finger tips. The razor sharp blade like nails began to dig into the dirt just by her pressing into it as she kept up the growl. The moment she finally snapped, her mind felt too cornered at this moment and she would leap past the boxes and onto the wall, only to kick off from the wall towards the approaching threat. Her nails clearly longer than normal, and one hand reaching out forward to swipe towards the man with a growl to accompany it. Though if it missed or hit was moot. She would stand idly by to see the reaction first before anything else was developed.

The Dark one had the power to let Mashyuu see what it saw so as it crept up upon the cat lady it's red eyes flashed for a moment and allowed Mashyuu to see. He grinned and headed for the alley until suddenly a figure jumped from the darkness and slashed at Mashyuu's chest with razor sharp claws. Mashyuu took a half step back and through his arm up in a sharp angle, raising a stone wall to protect himself from the woman.

"Hey kitten, those look sharp, how about you put those away and we talk like adults instead of trying to kill one another." Mashyuu reasoned. The last thing he wanted to do was get wounded before he had the chance to meet his child. The Wizard smiled ear to ear and slowly looked around the wall at the woman and raised a brow, ready to defend himself if needed but not wanting to hurt her either.

Each step she had taken let off less and less of a killer's instinct, allowing her to shine more as being protective of one's self. Even slicing a large gash into the wall just inches from the man's chest. Had she perhaps been faster, the kill would have been hers. No... that'd be the wrong kind of thinking, more like she was trying to slash and lash out in defense. Wound the enemy to get away. Though her attack had failed, it still yielded results. Her nails were razor sharp, in fact sharper than she even gave them credit for. Able to cut into the stone as if metal daggers with practically no effort. Though it would have taken effort definitely to break that stone wall. That was the obvious gap in power between the two.

The next thing was this person wanted to talk? Foolish... who talks to the one they're hunting down? Even despite the name she was called. 'Kitten' hmm, Chloe actually didn't mind that name, and began to think about it. He nails were already retracted as she was idly pondering the nickname given to her 'kitten...' she kept thinking. It was as if that nickname itself had just put Chloe on a bunny trail as she seemed to lean against the allyway wall. 'kitten?...' she thought again looking towards the sky.

"Kitten huh? I suppose i'll go with that. However, what about you? I like that name, how about you?" obviously, Chloe was obviously... very tied up on this and forgot to keep a hostile guard, yet she was still skittish as hell, and very much aware, as well as on guard. "By the way, I was only trying to defend myself... you crept up on me earlier. " During her statement, it was clear she was still thinking of the word kitten being used as a nickname for her. Then again, that was perhaps because she did not have a name yet.

Mashyuu smiled softly at the woman he had called Kitten. Seemingly based on the word alone she had let down her guard and started to talk. "Me? I'm Mashyuu. I'm a hero in most parts of the world. So I'm gonna come come out from behind the wall now okay." Mashyuu stated calmly.

Slowly and with his hands up Mashyuu came out from behind the wall then pointed to his sharp ears. "Actually I was sleeping behind the well and heard you come up to it and I freaked out. I've been fighting for a week straight. So I was on edge. I'm sorry about that. So Kitten are you in danger of something? Anything I can do to help you?" Mashyuu asked while coming out from behind the wall.

Still listening to the man talk, Chloe began to subconsciously groom herself, plucking dirt from her nails until clean, even so to the point of wiping her nails on her clothes. "Meo-kay" she spoke, without hesitation, nor meaning to add the start of a meow to. Which... actually annoyed her when it happened. That was a habbit she'd break, and fast.

Though what really perked Chloe's attention was how Mashyuu spoke to her in the next statement by saying the word 'actually'. Which Chloe translated it into 'no, you are wrong, this is how it really happened'. While it annoyed her to be told no, and that she was wrong, she kept listening anyways. The man seemed to have good intentions so Chloe decided to not verbally lash at how wrong they were about Chloe being wrong, which was a wrong thing to do at the wrong time, cause no, its just wrong to tell Chloe no.

"I...In danger? I don't know" Her words full of hesitation as she thought of Raiza and Yuki at the Phoenix mountains. Her mind raced, and she didn't know how to explain her own existence. Knowledge was yes, something she sought out, but at that same token, she had very little understanding. Many things, she only just accepted. Other things, some common things she adapted from creation. She had even subconciously looked towards the said mountains many miles away.

While currently, nothing really came to mind until she heard the voices of children, her head turned as she seemed to move slowly keeping her back to the wall. Far off in the distance were a few children. "Yeah...can you help me catch one of those little things? they're loud but I'm hungry"

Mashyuu almost chuckled at the Kitten who was grooming herself. The woman seemed odd to Mashyuu and his ring even had something to say about it, of course in Mashyuu's mind. She is new to this world Young Slayer. Be careful what you say to her. Teach her if you can. Mashyuu absently shook Ux on his hand and licked his dry lips. "Okay, you don't know if your in any danger. That's a good thing. It usually means your not... So where are you from then sweetie?" Mashyuu continued on.

It wasn't until she asked if he could help her catch a child to eat that the Wizard went wide eyed with confusion. "What!? No you can't eat kids. They are like smaller versions of me and you. We have to keep them safe and let them grow up. I can help you find some fish though. How does that sound?" Masyuu asked and stepped in front of the woman to block her view of the kids.

His sharp blue eyes glinted happily while he glanced around to make sure that nothing was going to get to close to him or his new... Friend. The last thing he needed was to see someone else get hurt because they scared the cat lady.

If you don't know you're in danger, it usually means you're not?! The concept confused Chloe, yet it also made her curious. What about sneaking? Sneaky fluffies always killed the softer and weaker fluffies, and they didn't know they were in danger at first... While the concept confused Chloe, she wasn't as bothered by it as she was the next statement. Once again...she was told no... this Mashyuu person was really getting on her nerves. How dare someone tell her no not to eat a food she clearly would defiantly like! Hell, it bothered her so much she forgot to even answer the question about where she came from.

"They're a smaller version of me? What? So I was once a food?" Chloe was also confused by that statement enough to actually ask about it. So all these smaller foods that made annoying noises were once created by someone? Why did they look so helpless then? Were they not meant to be a predator and not a food? Despite that, Chloe sulked a bit and knew she was out classed, so not to piss the one off, she decided to go about it. Though her mind was wandering at such a pace that despite being blocked from seeing the kids, the woman still side stepped to do such any ways, at least until she caught wind of a b...oh god no!

"ooh nummie fluffy" her only words before she darted past Mashyuu with such speed it was as if she was based off of a cheetah. Her hand reached out and snagged the small butterfly from the air and well... yup... into the mouth it went. "so.. where fish?". Oblivious as to where they were, and oblivious to the fact what she just did might have seemed weird.

"...No, people aren't food. How would you feel if someone tried to eat you?" Mashyuu asked while pinching the bridge of his nose and trying to remain calm enough to not sound frustrated with the woman. His heart lifted though when she reacted to the idea of getting fish, the act of keeping the children safe was Masyuu's only goal at this moment. "Alright, come on I know a place we can fish." Mashyuu suggested and motioned for the woman to follow him.

While walking out of the village the blue eyed Wizard looked the woman up and down and offered her a friendly smile. She was clearly not used to the world at large, maybe not even more than few days old if Mack was involved. The pair walked for nearly an hour until about a mile out there was a small oasis. Tall trees of rich and vibrant greens cast a welcome shade on a sandy location a little more than fifty meters in radius. Greenish blue water rocked in the wind and the scent wafted over the area, running into Chloe and Mashyuu. "Alright, go to town." Mashyuu suggested and motioned towards the oasis for his new friend to explore.

People are not food? This statement confused Chloe, as she did not view people as above animals, nor animals above humans. They were all equal forms of substance and meat any ways. Despite that fact, she went along with what Mashyuu told her, even though she disagreed with him on that fact. It only further proved her twisted persona and the fact she did not like being told no. Though when asked how would she feel if she was eaten only made her giggle. Someone wants to eat Chloe? Well thats another topic for another time, and even then, Chloe actually took the question in a weird literal sense. "I mean... I suppose you can eat me if you'd like. Don't expect me to just lay there though, I'll be rather rough". What she meant by that though, was if Mashyuu tried to attack to cook/eat her, she'd bring her claws out again.

After about an hour had passed, the pair arrived at an oasis. The smells that flooded Chloe's nose were strange, new smells, new flavors, and a new sensation. While she ultimately went into stalker mode the moment they reached. Her entire body lowered in posture, and her eyes gazed at a near by bird. Luckily her mind was not even on what Mashyuu had said, or she'd of been confused. After all.. why go back to the town just after reaching here? Her eyes squinted slightly as she used larger rocks around the area as cover, her body carefully treading closer and closer to the water until she actually finally reached there. Instinctively, a hand went towards the water to tap at it, slowly grazing an extended nail out which by now were two inches long like sharp razor blades. The fish seemed to be bothered by this but lured by her patting of the water. Defiantly an instinctive hunter, yet despite this, she did not have one trait most cat/felines do, and thats the hatred of water. Once a fish was close, not just her hand, but rather she dove in to grab it.

Which after but a few seconds, Chloe would come out of the water holding a rather larger fish in her hand, it was squirming but a nail dug into it's head, killing it. Clothes and all were soaking wet, and she would violently shake her body to get the water off of her. Thought that didn't work as well as she had planned. So, feeling annoyed her clothes were only holding her back from getting dry at the moment, she would take them off all while holding the fish in one hand. "I'm sure you want to eat. So I'll catch another if you want." she spoke, placing her clothes on a near by rock to dry as if it was instinct to her. Though she remained walking around naked unaware that was abnormal.

Silently Mashyuu stalked along behind Chloe while she drew closer to the small body of water amidst the sand and rocks. His blue eyes noticed the hunter in her but didn't say a word. Instead he propped himself upon a large flat stone and watched while Chloe patted at the water. He could taste the fish in the air and smell the strange odor that they produced.

A cool summer breeze came through the sky, pushing Mashyuu's hair aside until suddenly a soft splash drew his attention. Mashyuu watched Chloe kill a fish and shake dry. The moment she started to strip he swallowed hard and turned around on his rear to give the woman some space. "No, not hungry please eat and get dressed." Mashyuu ordered the Cat creature while gazing down at the sand below the rock he sat upon.

Well that was fun! At least that was Chloe's response as she ignored the order to go put on clothes. "why?" she demanded a response right back. Walking over to get a rather bulky enough stick. Once an adaquite stick was found, she would use one hand to break it off and drive one end into the ground, and then put the fish on the other end as if it was used to hold the food for her. "If you're gonna demand things from me, then you're going to eat. Don't worry, I ensured it would be very tasty to eat!" Driving home a point, she smiled walking back into the water, but this time still no clothes, and went back to looking for a second fish. No need to put clothes on for this one, as she kneeled down, patting the water with her face really close to the water, looking for her next prey.

Once she found it another splash would be heard, except this time the fish was already dead when she stepped out of the water. She had learned prior to dig a nail into the head so less time to squirm around. Though she didn't think of the idea she may need to cook the fish for them to taste any good to a human. For her however, raw was okay. She had the taste buds and the digestive system as a feral large mountain cat. Though she decided to take a seat on a near by rock and stare at her catch. "Do you mind if I not cook mine? I learned before humans tend to cook their food. Though if it makes you eat, I'll cook it... Theres two now"

Mashyuu kept his back to the woman, refusing to look at her until she dressed. He could hear the woman refuse to get dressed and ask why she should. He cleared his throat as a series of birds flew over head. "You should dress because...." His voice trailed off when he heard the sound of water breaking and he swiftly turned around. Mashyuu rolled his blue eyes in annoyance and thought about leaving her on her own but something wouldn't let him.

His eyes remained on the ground while she came out with the dead fish and offered it to him "No thanks. I don't eat fish. I eat rock." He said and picked up a fist sized stone and took a bite like it was an apple. After swallowing he went back to speaking. "Seriously you should get dressed because while you might be a Cat lady you are a lady. You need to act as one. My heart belongs to a woman and I would feel bad about looking at any other in the way I look at her. It's a human thing." Mashyuu explained then took a second bite out of the rock.

Chloe tilted her head strangely when Mashyuu mentioned he ate rocks. Wait... ate rocks? What kind of human ate a rock? Strange things humans were, yet Chloe ignored that fact and stuck the second fish on the stick. "You call me a cat lady, yet refer me to the human side of nature? I also possess traits of a plant, yet do not stand still forever until chopped down, now do I? To me, clothes are because I was created with them. I only wore them for the warmth. I'll put them back on in a few minutes when the desert sun has dried them off more. Till then, you can either look at me as another species, which I am. Or not look at all." Still rather annoyed, Chloe was new to the world, but her knowledge was gaining at such a rapid rate, it was in fact dangerous. The fact was, she already classified herself as a non-human being. Meaning, she did not see humans as anything more than another species of animal in the world. Just like she was just another species. "If anything, I'm just a magical creature"

Deciding after a few minutes, she was unsure what was supposed to be 'covered' to the bare minimum, and decided things related to mating was the bare minimum, and would simply put her bottom half of clothes back on and nothing more. "good? Clothes good now?"

When Chloe explained herself to Mashyuu he rolled his eyes and decided to simply look at her head directly. Swiftly he finished the rock and shook his head side to side. "No. Human's don't eat rocks. Slayers eat the element they are related to. I am the Dragon Slayer of earth. So as a result I eat stones and dirt like a human would eat plants or meat." He explained and watched to make sure she understood what he was saying.

The fact that she said she was part plant went over his head for a moment. "Only a small group of people on the planet are magical in nature so it's our job to either harm or protect the rest. I chose to protect them because the ones that want to harm them will harm others too. You should consider that. If you really are magical that is." Soon enough Chloe placed her bottoms back on and Mashyuu accepted the small win. "Yeah it's fine. Are you full? Ready to leave?"

Being asked if she was full was sort of... redundant of a question. Chloe had not even taken a bite yet, tho she did impale two fish which meant it would be an easy on the go snack. Something told her that her appatite would only ruin the mood for Mashyuu. Which made Chloe, sort of sulk. Looking around tho, she noticed a few circling desert birds. They didn't earn that kill, yet Chloe felt compassion for the circling hunters. "Slayers? So, you're supposed to kill dragons? By using the same sort of element they use? isn't that redundant? Would you not use something stronger?" While she was new, she wasn't dumb, and learning such things already was just part of her.

Finally grabbing her shirt, she would drape it over a shoulder still remaining topless but she wasn't going to leave the shirt there at least..walking towards the stick with fish on it, and removing one before clawing into it and breaking them into pieces to scatter where the birds would easily smell and see them. "I'll eat one on the road. other one can be eaten by the flying fluffies". The remaining fish on a stick would be clawed into to remove the skin effortlessly. The head would come off without much problem, and using her extended nail like a razor sharp knife, she would slice into it cutting it from the bone without much trouble, leaving only the insides of the fish and the bone to remain. What was left in her hand was the actual editable and delicious meat.

"sure I'm ready to go. Where to though?" she spoke before taking a bite into the raw fish meat. Her cheeks would blush from the savory taste, indicating she really enjoyed it. Though she was like a wild animal after all.

"Dragon Slayers learn Dragon Magic from Dragons and use it to slay other Dragons. It doesn't mean that I would use an Earth Spell against an Earth Dragon. But I would use it on a thunder Dragon." Mashyuu explained. Once she was ready Mashyuu looked off towards where the city known as the Ace of spades would be located then back towards town. "I'm taking you back to town. You know where you can eat fish now and I don't want to see you harming any people unless they are for sure trying to do you harm. That means not eating anyone." Mashyuu stated.

After taking a deep breath he smirked at the attractive neko and started off towards town. "If you need anything find me at the Ace of Spades, it's close by. I'm happy to help." Mashyuu offered to the woman and reached out to pet behind her ears softly. Once they were in town Mashyuu took her back to the well and looked up. "Well this is where we part ways. You going to be okay out here?"

Listening to the explanation on how dragon slayer magic should be used, Chloe had already dictated Mashyuu used it both right and wrong. If Mashyuu could eat the earth, then an earth dragon would be powerless against them. Which made Chloe understand that it might be used to slay the type of dragon they're trained by - yet at the same time, perhaps trained that way to take out the ones that were using their magic for ill purposes. Which the thought made Chloe ponder it enough to end up getting lost in thought most of the way to the town. Which was good, since she didn't particularly care for part of the conversation. Yet, she did pick up on one thing, although maybe not in the context that Mashyuu meant it. So... to harm those that harm her, okay, that means she may eat anyone she kills, as so long as they tried to harm her. Interesting, perhaps this would be a suitable thing. Though Chloe didn't open her mouth to question it, but rather left it up to best guess.

Smiling when Mashyuu reached behind her ear to pet her. Her eyes flickered as she enjoyed the touch, as if very sensative there. Her natural reaction pushed her body closer to Mashyuu, whom if they didn't forget by now, she was still partially naked, now pressed up against him as her arms reached around him. It was something she learned from observation of humans, they called this a 'hug'? At least thats what she assumed it was called.

"I'll be fine. I also eat sunlight too... " she spoke up, releasing the hug and smiled towards Mashyuu. "I wish I had a place to tell you where to find me. However I do not. No matter where I end up though. Be it for the good or for the bad. I'll always consider you a friend. " her words were far beyond much of her comprehension of the world, yet once she spoke them she nodded once before running off back into the sandy desert. No doubt on a new found quest of her own design.

The body of Mashyuu locked up when the Neko pressed her naked top into Mashyuu and hugged him tight. It took everything he had to not nosebleed about the situation. He drew a sharp breath and licked his lips while thinking about how he would never tell anyone about this. He lifted his arm up and waved at the Neko while he walked off. "Be safe, I'll catch ya around."
