She had woken up rather early today, in nothing but her birthday suit once more, and this time she was not even on her bed, Maka was sprawled across that, while she was curled fetal in her fluffy blanket, on her floor in the corner of the room. With sunlight draped across her reclining body? The wind user did not really mind waking up in such a state, she hated the dark so waking up in the sunniest spot within her room was glorious, the basking heat from it helping to get her body temperature rising once more, and chasing sleep away. However she did not really feel like she had slept at all, which was weird because normally she had some image of a nightmare that almost broke through, or some fantasy she had to fight through upon waking up. This new start to the day was different, nothing entered her brain and she had no images in her head upon waking, something that had not happened since Marschal rescued her from being kidnapped. Each day since those fateful and terrible years? She had been plagued by them in her sleep, it was the whole reason she’d nearly been killed for a super fluffy blanket, all in the hopes she’d get a good night’s sleep without waking up drenched in cold sweat. While it had not brought back pleasant dreams, it had chased away the nightmares, rendering her slumber blackened. Had something brought back pleasant dreams to the wind sorceress thought? Yes, thought she wasn’t going to think about any of that, lest she start playing with her tail again, she didn’t want Maka waking up to that sight. Suddenly the thought of how her parents ever got any adult time when she was young entered into her mind, considering she often woke up in their room, nestled between them. Jiyu chuckled at her own silliness, wiping her hand across her forehead as she begun over to her dresser to pick out clothes for the day.
Normally Jiyu dressed in the same outfit day after day, some bikini top barely large enough to stuff her chest into, and daisy duke shorts. For some odd reason today, she’d made a different selection, one that might actually be worse than her normal clothing! Jiyu honestly had no idea where she had gotten the outfit in her drawer, but before long she was tying a necktie around the collar of a sleeveless dress, nimble fingers securing the detached sleeves, slipping her fan into one and her knife into the other. “Well I AM The Ace of Hearts.” she hummed it out slightly, swirling in a circle, before deciding she could afford to fix the hair piece into her hair as well, laying it right behind her bang’s and tying her hair into low pig tails with the ribbons used for securing it, some of her hair still left down her back so that it was in three parks. “This isn’t half bad, I suppose.” she blushed at her own image, laughing slightly , it wasn’t flat out suggestive like her normal way of dress, but it was adorable in it’s own right and not too suffocating.
Since she had decided that her ‘new’ outfit worked for the day, Jiyu picked up night hunt and her quiver from beside the dresser, swinging the sac of arrows over one shoulder and sliding the bow over the other. Closing her curtains, she exited the room, making her way groggily downstairs in order to get back breakfast from the silver moon cafe, so she could officially start her working day. Kazehime settled down for some cherry cured bacon, a single fish and fluffy eggs with orange juice. Balance breakfast right? Well for someone who was actually a carnivore, it was pretty close to one very healthy breakfast. Of course when the puppy sat down to eat her meal, tail wagging, was when the dream from her prior sleep started to come back to her, the request made to her by something she couldn’t see. Had she agreed to that request? Hmm she couldn’t remember, might as well go after she finished eating thought, it was about a time for a visit to the portals.

“This is the place right?” she spoke to herself mostly, looking around the large span of portals surrounding her, she had been here once before, when one of the other guilds moved locations. Since than though? She had not visited this place, so it was refreshing to have the change in scenery. “Now which one is the right portal?” a ball of white light danced around her, trying to draw her towards the portal it desired and she guessed that since she came this far, she had nothing to lose from following a random ball of glowing. “I guess it’s this way.” she hummed it out, following the glowing orb as it lead her deeper into the portals, until she came to one that pulsed a soft green and emitted powerful magic. “This one than?” she was curious and needed something to do, curiosity could only kill cats, not dogs, so she was safe to sate her need for adventure. “Guess there isn’t really a way I can do research on what is beyond, unless I want to take forever, not happening.” since she had another tempting mission sprawled out right in front of her? Jiyu wanted to complete it swiftly! This time she was going in without research, which reminded her of the last time she just jumped into a portal, the fact she’d nearly been killed by angel’s. Oh well, heaven couldn’t be on the other side of this portal, the energy was different.
