She had woken up rather early today, in nothing but her birthday suit once more, and this time she was not even on her bed, Maka was sprawled across that, while she was curled fetal in her fluffy blanket, on her floor in the corner of the room. With sunlight draped across her reclining body? The wind user did not really mind waking up in such a state, she hated the dark so waking up in the sunniest spot within her room was glorious, the basking heat from it helping to get her body temperature rising once more, and chasing sleep away. However she did not really feel like she had slept at all, which was weird because normally she had some image of a nightmare that almost broke through, or some fantasy she had to fight through upon waking up. This new start to the day was different, nothing entered her brain and she had no images in her head upon waking, something that had not happened since Marschal rescued her from being kidnapped. Each day since those fateful and terrible years? She had been plagued by them in her sleep, it was the whole reason she’d nearly been killed for a super fluffy blanket, all in the hopes she’d get a good night’s sleep without waking up drenched in cold sweat. While it had not brought back pleasant dreams, it had chased away the nightmares, rendering her slumber blackened. Had something brought back pleasant dreams to the wind sorceress thought? Yes, thought she wasn’t going to think about any of that, lest she start playing with her tail again, she didn’t want Maka waking up to that sight. Suddenly the thought of how her parents ever got any adult time when she was young entered into her mind, considering she often woke up in their room, nestled between them. Jiyu chuckled at her own silliness, wiping her hand across her forehead as she begun over to her dresser to pick out clothes for the day.

Normally Jiyu dressed in the same outfit day after day, some bikini top barely large enough to stuff her chest into, and daisy duke shorts. For some odd reason today, she’d made a different selection, one that might actually be worse than her normal clothing! Jiyu honestly had no idea where she had gotten the outfit in her drawer, but before long she was tying a necktie around the collar of a sleeveless dress, nimble fingers securing the detached sleeves, slipping her fan into one and her knife into the other. “Well I AM The Ace of Hearts.” she hummed it out slightly, swirling in a circle, before deciding she could afford to fix the hair piece into her hair as well, laying it right behind her bang’s and tying her hair into low pig tails with the ribbons used for securing it, some of her hair still left down her back so that it was in three parks. “This isn’t half bad, I suppose.” she blushed at her own image, laughing slightly , it wasn’t flat out suggestive like her normal way of dress, but it was adorable in it’s own right and not too suffocating.

Since she had decided that her ‘new’ outfit worked for the day, Jiyu picked up night hunt and her quiver from beside the dresser, swinging the sac of arrows over one shoulder and sliding the bow over the other. Closing her curtains, she exited the room, making her way groggily downstairs in order to get back breakfast from the silver moon cafe, so she could officially start her working day. Kazehime settled down for some cherry cured bacon, a single fish and fluffy eggs with orange juice. Balance breakfast right? Well for someone who was actually a carnivore, it was pretty close to one very healthy breakfast. Of course when the puppy sat down to eat her meal, tail wagging, was when the dream from her prior sleep started to come back to her, the request made to her by something she couldn’t see. Had she agreed to that request? Hmm she couldn’t remember, might as well go after she finished eating thought, it was about a time for a visit to the portals.
    953 of
“This is the place right?” she spoke to herself mostly, looking around the large span of portals surrounding her, she had been here once before, when one of the other guilds moved locations. Since than though? She had not visited this place, so it was refreshing to have the change in scenery. “Now which one is the right portal?” a ball of white light danced around her, trying to draw her towards the portal it desired and she guessed that since she came this far, she had nothing to lose from following a random ball of glowing. “I guess it’s this way.” she hummed it out, following the glowing orb as it lead her deeper into the portals, until she came to one that pulsed a soft green and emitted powerful magic. “This one than?” she was curious and needed something to do, curiosity could only kill cats, not dogs, so she was safe to sate her need for adventure. “Guess there isn’t really a way I can do research on what is beyond, unless I want to take forever, not happening.” since she had another tempting mission sprawled out right in front of her? Jiyu wanted to complete it swiftly! This time she was going in without research, which reminded her of the last time she just jumped into a portal, the fact she’d nearly been killed by angel’s. Oh well, heaven couldn’t be on the other side of this portal, the energy was different.

Leila always treasured her status as a seasoned traveler that had seen most of the continent where Fiore was. Even after becoming part of a guild and technically becoming a citizen of the said nation, she was still proud on her prior experiences. Not to mention how many fond memories they carried, of her and her father together. Those times were long gone now, however. And a promise went on, unfulfilled... a promise that Leila gave to the nameless golem who had adopted her all those years ago. That she would become the greatest wizard ever, and then she would return to him. So that they would travel together once more through the land, discovering everything that was both new and old. Yes, even after good 18 years spent on the path, there was still so much left to see. The fact that she could not go back in time and make sure that promise would come true was truly sad, almost making poor Leila cry from time to time. But there was one thing that she could do. Traveling on her own, exploring the unknowns of this magical world for both her and her deceased foster father. With that, she would also keep on being the great traveler she once was. Not to mention that actually going places alone was a great exercise in panic and solving unexpected problems. Some would view that as a bad thing, but gaining that experience was actually extremely useful. The last case of Leila actually doing that was when she accepted that little adventure into three different nations where she was able to participate in some rather exciting festivals. And what experience came from that? Well, she most certainly became closer with her friend Jiyu. And something like that, well, it was always worth it! But that was in the past now. For present was much different. A morning slowly came, the sun creeping up from behind the great mountains that towered in the distance. And with that, it was Leila's time to finally wake up after snoring the entire night. She wasn't bothered by it at all, but others were.

"Come... on! Wake up! Wake up already! How long do you plan on sleeping... you were making noises the whole night and now you plan on being annoying even throughout the day?"

The voice of a small girl that was kneeling next to the bed with her hands on the blanked echoed slightly. She was trying to wake her master up, but she was a heavy sleeper. At least when she was in her own bed and after fighting an army of murderous angels. That sure was a story she would eventually tell to her children, if she ever has any. Ant the hybrid dragon wasn't the only one who was tugging on that blanked in hopes of faking up owner. Ori was jumping on it as well. Though his body was much smaller and didn't offer nearly any strength that could actually woke her up. It was still pretty cute sight,  however. If Leila had a creepy stalker that would be looking into her room through the window, they would probably be in awe right now. It really was incredible how large tolerance that girl had. Until she eventually turned over, one of her hands flying through the air and landing on the white-haired loli who was already in her snowy short yukata. And where that hand landed? On her chest, of course... the universe had a thing for accidents like these, making them happen rather often in lives of many people. Though it was mostly just boys who were attending highschool, from time to time it happened to a magical girl as well. And as that hand rested in place, she squeezed it too, feeling the softness and wanting more. Although it felt somewhat disappointing... almost as if she was expecting mountains with snow on top of them, but got flowery fields and plains instead. Not exactly a bad thing, but not what you wanted either.

    "Uuuu... flat as a board..."

And that was enough to invoke the wrath no one has ever seen before. The poor dragon girl jumped up, shaking that hand off her body as her face turned dark, only the terrifying gleam of her crimson red eyes going through. It was almost like flipping a switch, the room had a pleasant temperature until now, but as of this moment, it was absolutely freezing. Even Ori had to jump away from the bed, quickly slipping underneath his own blanked that was inside of a fairly big basket that served as his home whenever they weren't on a travel.

    "H..h..how dare youuuuuuuuu!!"

That scream was probably capable of waking up even the dead. And with a frozen blanked, it wasn't very good sleeping either. So Leila was finally awake, quickly jumping out of the bed and right on top of Yuki, throwing their bodies to the ground with little effort. An act that surprised the angry girl who suddenly received a hug from her owner, perhaps a sign of an apology. In moments like these, she would quickly change her mind and start liking her owner again. So she would hug her back, as tightly as she possibly could, letting their bodies make proper contact. Of course, that only lasted until Leila opened her mouth again.

"Aww, your body is so warm... I was right when I chose to use you as a body pillow that would make me feel warm again. Hehe, Yuki is simply the best~."

It was no surprise that those words managed to send her into rage once more, making the entire room explode in ice. That was how most mornings went for this trio... it was fair to say that Leila's life became way more interesting and active than it was only few months ago. Back then, she only had Ori. He was a great friend who always managed to cheer her up, but without the ability to actually talk, it was hard doing much with him. When she found Yuki, it was something else entirely. She knew from the very start that they were destined to remain together through all good and bad. And while it was sometimes kinda uncomfortable and inappropriate to call her 'pet' or when she called Leila 'owner' their relationship was still most unique. After that whole ordeal, Leila started preparing herself some healthy breakfast. And by preparing she meant taking a banana out of basket and peeling it. She was never the one too eat all that much. Perhaps that was another reason that she had such a great figure. Things were finally starting to calm down after the morning's incident. Right now, it was just the Eden's mage standing in her room, still clothed in her nightdress and nothing more. As far as her wardrobe went, it was actually pretty decent. In fact, most of her clothes were actually surprisingly friendly to everyone around. Nothing that would expose too much skin, safe for the super short skirt of her actual battle outfit. But that was completely covered from behind by the coat, so it was all fine. Maybe just her first attire when she came to Fiore, that one had many more places where skin was shown. But that was long gone, forgotten in the closet for good. That was how it went with Leila while Yuki was fully prepared before she even woke up. It was pretty clear that the young dragon was excited for today's plan. With how much pride Leila put into her being a traveler that went through most of this continent, well, there was another level waiting just for her. How about a traveler that was walking between worlds? It was certainly possible. After all, there were these gates that she heard so much about. And actually, she already traveled through one before. Back when she didn't even know that there was magic inside of her body, she and her father went through a great gate that was shining with green magical light. After that, they found themselves in a place where magical energy held much power, making any creature that had ethernano inside of it at least ten times more potent. It was so long ago that she barely remembered it now. But today, she wanted to enter that gate again, see that world with her matured eyes. It took a great deal of preparing, but she was finally ready! Ori was the only one who wasn't going, as it could be somewhat dangerous in the other world. Not to mention that he liked sleeping in his own bed more than anything these days. It was just Leila and Yuki then. After cladding herself in the usual midnight blue outfit, the duo went out and straight to their location, not being distracted or stopped by anything along the way. It took a bit, but they eventually arrived. Looking at the various gates from the distance, it really did look majestic. Portals that were leading to completely different worlds, it was almost unimaginable! Compared to this, the portal leading from phoenix mountains into the great underwater city of her guild was nothing at all. Leila was always excited when there was something new to explore, like a new place or even nation. But a whole new world? That truly took the cake. Almost beaming with anticipation, the two girls would get closer before stopping. Oddly enough, there was a semi-familiar figure standing near the gate that they wanted to go through as well! Of course, she knew who it was right away... there was something off, somehow making Leila a bit uncertain. Well, the girl went through the green portal without any problems. So the infamous duo went after her, eventually finding themselves in a beautiful green world. But there was no time to be amazed by that right now!

"Jiyu... right? What are you doing here of all places?!"

Trying to make sure that the one in front of her was indeed her friend, she now knew why she was so uncertain. It was what she was wearing and even the way her hairstyle was now. It was completely, or just very different from what she was used to. Even the animal features that she suddenly showed last time they met had less impact than this. In all honestly, it was making Leila a little bit bothered... after all, anyone could judge by her own costume that she loved this type of clothing. And the fact that her best friend was wearing something like this, not to mention that she looked extremely good? It was nothing more than a great recipe for disaster waiting to happen any moment! But at least there was Yuki who had the ability to cool her owner down, at least to a certain level... and very literally. In fact, she was already trying to do so. After all, the way Leila's jaw was dropping down was looking kinda gross to her, and she had no desire to be watching that the entire time they were on this little adventure of theirs. Not that Yuki would dislike Jiyu or anything, but the fact that she had this much of an effect on her owner was speaking for itself. Any pet would be wary of danger such as this one... not to mention that she was a dog, while Yuki was a dragon and fox combined. Thank goodness that they both had their human sides as well, else some wards about territory would probably start happening right about now. And as much as Leila would want to see two pretty girls in a cat fight, this was not the place, nor the time for something like that. Surely they could leave the suggestive parts for later when everything was already explained. There was also the matter of a white pixie ball that was floating about, but that was hardly important in the face of Jiyu's new outfit!

Could Jiyu be considered a seasoned traveler in any sort of way? Well that was really an unknown sort of statement. On one hand she’d likely been to almost every country there was, at least once, on the other hand she’d also spent no actual time in places besides Rose Garden and Peace Village, her current and prior homes. The best way for someone to run away and never be found by the people who would look for them, that was to hop ships and never leave a paper trail, she had managed it for several long years, using at first the fact she was a child to get by, than using the fact she was an attractive woman to ensure her own survival. Jiyu would really never know if she could be called an experienced traveler  or not, but she always knew that when it came to ships she was beyond seasoned and in fact intended on getting her own boat eventually! In fact, the wind mage was saving all her money up for one personal ship, desiring the freedom to move around like that once more, and the ideal if she bought the most expensive thing on her ’to buy list’ everything else would seem less expensive! What else was on the list for purchase by the canine? Armor, considering what had happened during her last few missions she figured a bit more between her body and an enemy's tools might be required. Kazehime never wanted to lay on the ground and scream for an ally again, not like that, not with blood coming from her side and shoulder, actually needing the aid if she did not want to face her death. Accepting help? Was one thing, but needing it now that she was more powerful than ever, that was another thing entirely and one Jiyu was not willing to deal with whenever avoidable. Jiyu had no intention of kicking the bucket soon, and she also had no intention of crying for help every time she was in trouble, so the solution was to take measures to avoid trouble more often. Of course when you were someone who seemed irresistibly drawn to danger and like a beacon for it to come to you? That was kind of hard. So she had to take steps like Armor in order to make herself more self reliant, because her family had proven well enough that even the most reliable situations could quickly become twisted nightmares.

“Damn, persistent little light orb, I’m going alright? I’m going!” she almost stumbled through the pulsing portal, but managed to pass gracefully. However Jiyu’s nose caught a significant wiff of two familiar scents when she was passing over, Leila and Yuki, she knew them very well considering the recentness of their embedding in her head! It had been like maybe a day or two since they faced off against the angel’s (Jiyu still had the bandages underneath her clothing to prove this), and while she had been expecting to see them again soon, she hadn’t exactly been expecting it to be like next day soon!

She was only standing beyond the portal, waiting, for moments before they made their own entrances.

Their interaction started right away, but she was confused as to why Leila seemed to question if it was really her, until she looked down and realized her different style today. In past mission’s? She’d been in Marshals jacket over her bikini top and shorts, or had a dress and cape thrown over the. Leila had never seen her go three sixty on style before, thought she did it every so often, she realized no one had really seen it, because it mostly happened when she was doing something alone. Marshcal, hmm she needed to go do something with him again, lest she leave her savior in the dust. “What?" a smirk played her pink lips and her eyes danced with mischief, her hands falling to hold her hips, making her chest jutt out more, her gaze averted and she laughed softly, bringing her fan over her mouth to hide the expression, the pure white spreading out over her pale creamy complexion. “Oh this~” she spoke it out as if it was a taunt, flicking the neck tie and tucking her fan back into the sleeve it had come from, taking a single swaying step forward towards the dou. “Yesterday’s set was clearly sliced by angels.” her voice trailed off, rolling her eyes at the memory of them, since they had let a demon go, not that she wasn’t happy, it was just funny. “I needed something to wear, it was on top and I am the Ace Of Hearts after-all, it kinda suits.” had she told Leila about her promotion within Black Rose? No of course not, she’d spent the better part of several weeks ignoring the other girl’s communications! Well better late than never, one hand raising to twirl a single low pigtail around it. “Keeps my hair somewhat out of the way of my quiver, I just have no where to put Night Hunt.” so this was likely to be a forever arrangement, sadly, since she needed some way to not have to carry her bow by hand all the time, or she’d get splinters, which could be dangerous considering how weak her physical body was.

“Oh come on, don’t stare so much, it’s my first time……. wearing something like this.”

Leila would hear her own words slightly changed in the voice of her best friend, before a somewhat lengthy pause the preceded the rest of the statement, explaining that it was her outfit she was talking about with that somewhat flushed face. Yuki was also right for considering Jiyu dangerous, the ‘innocent little wind mage’ had never exactly been to angelic, and had a bad habit of playing with people flirtatiously, since it had got her whatever she wanted when she lived on ships. Most of her dangerous behavior like a small swing of her hips as she turned around, was something she was incapable of helping at this point, since no one had corrected her behavior when it started. “This little orb of light wanted me to come, and I figured I was due for another dose of danger.” the object floated around the wind user and buzzed softly, and she placed her hands on her hip, leaning down slightly as it scolding the other girl, but this sadly would also make her cleavage more attractive considering ti had to hang as she did this. “Your turn~” she chimed it, righting herself as she walked over to Leila, standing with one of her feet only touching the ground by the toes, right in front of her friend, looking up at her. “What are you doing here?” she chuckled it, leaning against a nearby tree when she was done.

Post by Noheme 7th September 2016, 4:39 pm

One surprise after another, today really was shaping to be one interesting day. And the fact that Jiyu was acting a certain way while wearing those clothes... well... it certainly made it hard for Leila to control herself. If she was to give herself to all those desires, she would bind the poor girl here with her magical roots, making sure she had no way of fighting back and then had her fun. Just thinking like that was mighty dangerous and it was also leaving her cheeks a pretty rose pink for all to see. Even Yuki had placed another one of her unamused looks onto her face once she saw that reaction, knowing exactly what her owner was thinking. And while she didn't have anything against the thought itself, it was the indecency that counted, making her somewhat embarrassed for having such a weird master. But there was no helping it, as Leila herself desired these things. To be so close to someone else that they would become lovers, that was the one privilege that was denied to her. After all, Jiyu had her super duper boyfriend that saved her from her worst nightmares like the true hero from legends and fairy tales. That counted for so much more than she did for her, it was hardly any competition. The reality of things was often sad and cruel, but this was just a little bit too much. As the matter of fact, the moment her friend started being even more flirty and began showing her cleavage, Leila's nose started bleeding! Quickly covering it with one hand, she would turn around from the girl and start waving the other hand to indicate time-out. Apparently not even Yuki expected that, as she got rather shocked by that scene and stepped between the two love birds.

"W..we've come to this world because it's saturated with magic. Apparently it's really easy to train anything magic related here, so that's the reason. And Leila is not feeling all to well after some fights, so excuse her for a moment!"

Making up excuses and trying to keep the doggy from her bleeding master at the same time, she currently worked as both mental barrier and physical obstacle. Thankfully it didn't take too long before Leila had the mental energy to return to the conversation again. Though her whole face was a little bit more red than usual, bringing out the gray bark-like skin that was creeping up the left side of her neck and slowly onto her face. For some reason, it seemed as if the corruption of Eden on her body was starting to slowly spread more and more. Was that the result of their battles, or maybe just the fact that she was stronger as a wizard? No one had the answer for her right now. One thing was clear, however... it was now covering probably majority of her body. If that was a good or bad sign, well... only time could tell that. So for now, she just wanted to focus on her friend who was present in front of her. Leave tomorrow's problems to tomorrow's you and all that. Bringing her own fingers to her chin, she did her best to smirk teasingly at the wind user. There was no way she would not try and talk back to something like that. Though the phrase that looks can kill was apparently very real, working it's little murderous magic right now.

"First time, huh? That's one more reason for me to stare even stronger, hehe! Unless you just want me to remove it all~"

Trying to come back at her, she just saw Yuki's face at the lower part of her sight, her expression simply spelling out "What?". It was actually really useful, her ability to convey feelings without even having to talk. Kinda like that special bond twins have, where they can apparently tell what the other one is thinking at all times. Leila didn't really knew if there was any truth to it, but it was pretty close to what was going on now. Except anyone was probably capable of reading that obvious expression placed on the young dragon's face. It was shame, as it also kinda ruined the mood for her. Still didn't make her stop though. Which was good, because Leila certainly didn't need to get frozen for the second time today, once in the morning was enough.

"So... a little orb of light, huh? Yeah, someone that willingly came into the haunted village because they heard that a murderous little girl was there would have no problems with mindlessly following a pixie that probably wants to play a trick on you or something. Oh well, if you're going, we might as well tag along. Didn't really have any plans for when we get here anyway."

At least that was the truth and Yuki had no real issues with it. If they wanted to train here, the best method would probably be to find something to fight anyway. And given how magical this world is, there is probably a ton of weird monstrosities just waiting for cute girls to come around. They would catch them and do unimaginable things to them! But since this time they would be meeting this little trio, no monsters stood any chance. Although... thinking about monsters doing all those unimaginable things to them, it certainly forced Leila into her little land of odd fantasies. Which had shown in the real world as well, as she started drooling a little bit. Her personality really was a mess at this point, both submissive and dominant, sadistic and masochistic depending on the situation... maybe the fact that she was now maturing mostly alone wasn't the best. If her father was still around, these things would never happen! At least there was the hope... he was probably turning in his grave right now, thinking about what weird daughter he had raised. But at least it was better than leaving her in that war-oriented nation where he found her. Better a perverted wizard than trained killing machine that was capable of easily controlling one of the ancient magics, capable of great devastation and chaos. Maybe...

Without any injuries, no reason to be ashamed of her body and such a timid little woman? Jiyu was regaining confidence she’d had before meeting Leila, at a very steady and increasing rate. These days she seldom hid any aspect of her body when avoidable, because she was very aware of her own positive physical attributes once more, alongside the bad one’s like how she was almost dangerously thin especially when her decent sized bust was calculated in! Anyway’s, the woman had been accustomed to using her gender and body to get her way in the past, and it started working like a charm once more when she no longer carried the marks of her two year imprisonment! Thus the half demoness would never really and truly stop her behavior until someone made her see and realize what she was actually doing, even than it was not promised she’d knock it off, maybe just chill in that person’s presence. For now though, she was full steam ahead, and she didn’t even really know what she was doing, sadly, otherwise she’d take much more enjoyment in her actions. Yes, enjoyment, Jiyu adored being in control, and when someone was lusting after you, it was pretty much the ultimate control over them. However she also did not know how dangerous this could become with Leila, just how far her friends mind went, the bondage the golden phoenix desired to perform on her. The final card was on Jiyu thought! Leila adored her friend, and she would lose out if she took such action, Jiyu had an aversion to being tethered by solid binds. After spending two years with her wrists and legs tied together? She was in no hurry to even consensually be tied up, much less have someone jump her that way! Getting pushed like that, would do heavy damage to the still secretly recovering wind user. Marschal couldn’t be competed with when it came to Jiyu, she lusted after her savior heavily, even while she was still in denial over it. However no one was perfect, he had flaws, one’s Jiyu had not see to yet, but that was for later. “Huh?”

An eyebrow quirked, she had seen men have nose bleeds when she did such an action before, mostly old or extremely lustful men. Another girl thought? That was something the curious canine had yet to ever experience, and she didn’t think to connect the dots past trusting Leila, her bare feet scraping against the ground, a hand out reaching as she tried to see what was wrong. Blood, typically meant bad things. “Huh?” the canine really was not following what was going on, nose twitching as the scent of her friends blood burned her nose in two ways, the first being concern the second being the fact she still lusted after blood. “You let her come outside when sick?” Jiyu didn’t look convinced by any of this, Leila smelled fine to her, tail wrapping around one of her own legs, fang scraping her own lip and eyes quizzical as a hand fisted over them. “~Alright.” she didn’t sound entirely convinced, and looked as confused as when it all started, but eh everyone had their things and this didn’t seem like one that would make Leila stop talking to her. Some blood after she had already given the liquid up to the half demoness? Seemed like nothing.

Most of the deadly females in history were fatal because of their looks, opponents too distracted to retain functionality. Actually? That went for both gender’s. Jiyu was not even aware she’d won something, it was kind of funny that way, having victory without even knowing she’d been in makeshift playful combat. “Jerk~.” she puffed it out, eyes widening when Leila made her other comment, something ringing in the back of her mind, alarm bells clanging. Most of the two years she spent held captive by mysterious men whose motives she never knew? Was blurry, but something, a tiny thing in her brain was drawing lines, and her arms crossed defensively over her chest, body slouching to preserve herself. Suddenly? Jiyu looked like a deer headlights, trying to decide to fight the car or flee to late, either way the deer was screwed. “NO!” it was high pitched as she looked down, her body shaking slightly. Shortly afterwards? She shook it all off, but that didn’t change the fact it had happened, this haunted look still in her eyes, those orbs distant as she tried to bring herself back.

“I’m sorry I don’t know why I-” she glanced away and down, puzzled at her own reflex, and the disgusting feeling she had in the pit of her stomach now, the way her skin itched. What could cause her to react like that, when she knew Leila would never actually do it? Kazehime sighed and scratched her head, jaded expression as she refocused on them, smiling small with her pale pink lips. “Eh I figured it wanted to kill me.” she sounded so serious as she shrugged, the action causing her dress to bounce, still twirling one pig tail around her left hand. “That will be useful.” her comment trailed off, as the ball of light smacked into her side, and flew off in a certain direction, trying to lead them somewhere. “Pushy isn’t it?” she commented, starting to follow after their light orb. Leila could be perverted all she wanted, but if her mind was on the money about the monsters here, she would have to protect the dog demoness or irreparable harm might be done to her psyche! Fantasize all she wanted, if Jiyu was forced like that, aware of it fully and able to remember it clearly, she would likely not recover mentally, especially after her last ordeal.

    “Let’s go than.”

It was exactly like normal, wandering through the land and dancing little steps, hips swaying and voice humming as they went along, twirling around to glance back every few moments. Eventually though? Her playfulness seemed to vanish for the seriousness witnesses against the angels “Five coming, mixed power.” she spoke up, hand reaching up encase she needed to grab her arrows.

It really wasn't the best excuse to just say that Leila was sick and because of that, she was bleeding from her nose. But it was probably better than just admitting the truth which was way more embarrassing, not to mention that Jiyu would probably have to change few of her opinions about this friend of hers after that. As the girl recovered, she gently shoved Yuki aside to face her friend directly and explain things, maybe a little bit better. Or maybe it even worse and less believable, that was always an option as well in these lovely situations no one liked to find themselves in.

"Yup, just an arcane fever, nothing to worry about. And Yuki didn't exactly have any say in the matter of me coming here. When I want something, I will get it one way or another, after all. Even if I have to travel through the worlds with my nose all bloody!"

That sure was a statement. But it held at least some truth in the form that Leila would go pretty for for something she wanted. At least in most cases when it was actually possible for her to obtain whatever she wanted. Knowing one's limits was important, and she was never shy to quickly retreat if it was necessary. Nothing good would come from dying because you wanted something. If you just give up temporarily, you will get another chance. But no second chances for the dead, unfortunately. And in the end Jiyu accepted all of those words, even if it was with a grain if doubt. They were friends and friends didn't have to question each other all the time. Because if that was the case, it would be one very weird relationship. At least Leila didn't doubt her friend, most of the time. True, she had her suspicions when the other girl started hiding the fact that she got partially transformed, but even then she let it be for a while because she believed in the wind user to deal with it all. And when she proved that was not an effective method of solving that problem, only then she tried to help. If that was good or bad approach, she still had no idea. But since it all worked out in the end, there was no need to think about it too hard anymore. Past was left forgotten while the future didn't bother her in the slightest. Living in the moment of things, that was what this Eden's mage was doing most of the time and enjoyed most. Except when bad things happened, just like now. What was meant as simple teasing had rather brutal response that left Leila staring at her friend with confused and somewhat pained look. Almost as if she was trying to empathize with Jiyu in order to discover what was wrong, she simply stared at her with her eyes completely fixated at that small figure. But the only thing they got to was an apolog from her side, not something she wanted.

"No, I'm sorry for going too far. I'll... I'll make sure to watch my actions and words more carefully from now on. We wouldn't want to damage your vocal cords as you had to scream because of stupid old me."

Gently smiling towards her partner as she scratched one of her cheeks with a single finger, she really meant her words. She was often changing her way of thinking about this girl, but it always had only negative effects. So in order preserve or even improve their friendship, she had to be carefully with every single one of her words and maybe even her actions in general. Making sure to never do something like this again, it would be very hard and stressful... but she was capable of doing it for someone like Jiyu. This self sacrifice that would be slowly killing her personality from the inside, it really seemed like the only proper solution that would't force anything onto her friend. It was painful, but the right thing to do. No one wanted to take the blame for anything, but there always hat do be someone playing the victim. That was her decision right now, forcing more serious expression onto her face while still retaining that somewhat gentle smile. For now, they had an adventure in front of them. Surely something like that would be enough to take her mind off things like these. And so she nodded to her partner as the while magical thingy started pushing her and leading the way. At least it seemed that the girl regained her playfulness as they went along through the beautiful world that was literally saturated with magic. The whole atmosphere her was completely different from what she was used to in the Earthland. It was actually really nice changed. And glancing over to her side, it was beyond clear that Yuki was enjoying being here as well, judging from her playful steps and pleased smile. So that was one goal completed if nothing else. Though, it couldn't last forever, just like everything else. Jiyu who's senses were far beyond human's were sensing danger. Five unknown groups heading towards them and clearly hostile.

"Got it. Big sis Leila will take care of things~"

Responding in playful voice as well, the Eden's mage would jump in front of her friend and look around. The magical mist around them was pretty thick and eventually revealed indeed five different shadows. A young man that clearly dabbled in dark magic seemed to be weakest of them all, followed by two astronachs that were both made out of flames and a total of fourteen wolfs that came as two groups but banded together into one big cluster of fur. It sure was something, but nothing too hard to deal with. Still, it would be best if the two girls remained vigilant!

"The great rewriter's gear... activate!" Once again, she would imagine the pedal in the depths of her mind, stepping on it with all her might and unlocking that hidden power withing her body. It caused a clear green aura around her whole body as she locked on all the wolves. "You can take the mage~"

Her words were directed towards her lovable pet, the ice dragoness, who nodded in agreement. First off, Leila would start running towards the pack who started doing the same. But since she had no interest in actually getting bitter, she would teleport fifteen meters into the air the moment they got close to one another using the serene winds that were blowing through her magical garden. And from the, she fell into the middle of that pack, punching the ground and making several wooden spikes rise form the ground around the whole area, at least sixty meters in diameter. That took care of the wolves quite easily. In the meantime, Yuki was flying around the mage who was trying to shoot her down with balls of dark energy. It was a bit sad to watch, as he was way too slow to keep up. And with that, he started to slowly succumbing to the freezing aura from the young dragon, eventually stopping his attack. Yuki easily landed in front of him and finished him with one hearty punch to the chin. The only enemies that were remaining on the field were those two astronachs, which was a bit of a problem for Leila.

"J..Jiyu? Could you maybe take care of them...? I... I really don't like flames!"

Just presence of that heat was making her really nervous, which was quite apparent in her speech. Indeed, fire was her greatest enemy and probably fear as well at this point. Thank goodness Jiyu's speciality was wind, and not fire. That would really make their relationship difficult, more than anything else.

No one ever liked these sorts of situations and Jiyu didn’t know if she liked being lied to or told the truth no matter what, she hadn’t had enough experience with people to know such things yet. Kazehime did not know what opinions she held about lots of different things, her ambition and instincts being some of the few things on her, as she fought back from the mental damage dealt in the past alongside the scars from before it. However it seemed now she’d get more information cause Leila was pushing Yuki out of the way, coming forward to explain herself, and the little wind user damn well hopped it was a better explanation than had been provided by the other snowy haired girl. What was it with her and picking up people who had silvery hair? Damn. Jiyu tapped her foot slightly as the other girl started speaking, considering each word she spoke out. “Fever?” she still sounded heavily unconvinced, stepping forward, hand out reaching until she changed her mind, thought better of feeling for a literal fever. Sighing out, she placed her hands behind her back, deciding this was done and nothing could be accomplished like this. “You really shouldn’t do that.” but that was the only additional thing that came from the half demoness, slender hand holding her own cheek, eyes telling of how unconvinced she was, but her heart chose to trust it, she should really know better by now, after-all her heart had gotten her into trouble before.

Jiyu did well with several sorts of teasing, she was fairly playful with those she could trust to any extent. However, just something about the idea of someone forcefully removing her clothing, it sent her mind into a blind panic, some defensive mechanism she never knew about having just kicking in. She still looked distracted. Why would she be focused? Kazehime had just snapped at someone she considered precious, and she did not know why, none of it made sense to her! Than again, not many things had made much logical sense ever since she transformed. “That’s really never happened before.” of course no one had so directly suggested forcefully stripping her before, that was new so of course it could bring a new reaction. Jiyu was unsure and confused, she couldn’t deal with her odd actions right now, she just needed to focus on dealing with this sparkly ball of light, the one that always seemed to want her attention so badly!

“I don’t think it was you.”

The words rung and her eyes went hallow, hand rubbing her wrists where her the skin was slightly discolored. Did it have something to do with the time before Marschal saved her from those men? Jiyu sighed out again, laughing slightly as she decided to stop thinking on it. However before she could put the thoughts away, something else crept in. Kazehime had never stopped to think about the state she had been in when he arrived to save her, it had never crossed her mind before today. Now that she was thinking about it? Jiyu recalled burn marks on her actual breasts before her demonic transformation had repaired most of her flesh. Gear’s slowly turned. Finally something clicked in the wind user’s head as she made a mouse like sound and crossed her arms over her chest. “Oh gods, oh fuck.” her face was swiftly turning a nice shade of red as she had her second freak out of the day, legs rubbing against each other slightly as she whimpered. “I didn’t have a shirt on when he saved me, that means, he saw my- fuck.” she was now full fledged blushing, her whole face bright red as her eyes watered slightly and her breathing picked up pace. Marschal had already seen her breasts, damn, sure it was a decent time ago and she was covered in marks, but still, he had seen her! How was she suppose to deal with that? Fuck, she’d never be able to look straight at him again! She had thought her fantasies were bad, this was worse.

“Uh-sorry I just remembered something I really should have recalled months ago.” she should have punched the man for not covering her that night! Of course, he had just saved her from several armed savages, and he was purring for her even as he took off the blindfold, maybe she could forgive one perverted action from him. In consideration? It wasn’t even anything perverted or actiony, it was just an action he had not taken, so it was all good. Right. She wasn’t entirely convinced in her own thoughts, but as her arms fell again, it would have to be enough, her smile returning slightly as she laughed at her own silliness. Marschal didn’t care about seeing her chest, since he’d not commented on it, why should she care that he saw her that exposed!

    “Big sis?”

She laughed a little, chasing thoughts away from her mind. Honestly, she had asked her parents for a little sibling before, but it had just never happened. When her mother died? They had been talking about another child, but her mother died, and her father never recovered, so it never happened. Even with how much she hated the man who provided half of her code, she was beginning to wonder why he had not tried to contact her when she had become a notable face in the wizard world, did he hate her now. Sure she often told him she didn’t believe he loved her anymore, but she never truly believed it, his love may have been deep under his grief, but it was still there. Jiyu shook her head, she couldn’t think about those sorts of things right now! It was time to start fighting right now. “There is a problem with that!” the beasts drew near to her as she was announced their enemy, and the second one reached out, she almost fell, stumbling back as she sloppily dodged them, seeming to be drunk or something. One of them lashed out and burned the side of her face, the wind witch fell to her knees, panting and shaking. Considering Leila was afraid too? She tried to fight them for her, but it was no better than when the other girl had lit a torch back when they were stopping tomb raider’s! Kazehime was still just as terrified of fire even if she was half demon now, and she was about to embarrass herself again. The fire spirit lashed out again, and before it’s fist could make contact with her, the wind user fainted, causing confusion among her two opponents that stared down at her unconscious form. Every-time she was prolonged to fire for an extended period of time, this happened, she passed out, her body's desperate attempt to cope with the presence of fire.

Their relation was not in danger, but Jiyu’s life was now in real danger, she was incapable of waking up while their heat still washed over her body. Unless Yuki acted, since Leila could not fight them either, the young wind mage was done for. At least this time, there was no blood for her to smell when she woke up, or at least it was not on an allies body, that had happened before, she’d tried to eat Monkey Boy after the fire user stayed with her when a pheonix caused her to faint. Wasn’t that the sweetest thing? You stay with your trusted ally for hours, waiting for her to come back to the land of awake and she tries to eat you very promptly upon waking.

Jiyu was saying something to herself while Leila was fighting, meaning she didn't really catch any of it, even when the girl apologized about remembering something. Though from her face, it was clear that there was some embarrassing memory at play, almost making Leila want to know what she was talking about just now. But she had just promised to herself that her behaviour would be more serious with her! Could she really not keep that up for even few minutes? She just had to resist that urge, no matter what. Even if it was starting to eat away on her mind and body. It was odd, she thought that something was up with the enemies, but even after most of them were defeated, Leila's sight was still somewhat strangely hazy... and it was also then she remembered that her friend was deeply afraid of flame. She showcased it multiple times before in the past, and she still managed to forget! What a good friend she was. It was clear that this would not end well if things continued the way they were going. Preparing to attack those dancing flames herself, Leila was truly relieved when Yuki suddenly appeared between them and the girl, quickly burying her hands into their bodies and causing their flames to slowly fade away as her aura was making them much colder as well. Soon, only husks were left, falling onto the ground and falling apart, shattering completely. Her little companion managed to save them, although at a price. Both of her hands were pretty badly burned and it was clearly painful. Not exactly a nice sight, but Yuki played the tough girl and didn't even say a word, trying to continue as if nothing had happened. Though her expression was clearly pained, but not for too long. This time, something happened to her owner. Feeling rather sick all of a sudden, Leila fell to the ground, finding herself on all four in a moment, coughing for a good while. And after it was done, she her sight finally came back properly. And it made her worry a lot, for the first thing she saw was a small pool of blood in the green grass that she just produced from her mouth. Yuki was kneeling down right next to her, her burned hands resting on her master's body with a worried expression. Something like this never happened before. And despite that, Leila had a sinister feeling that she knew what was actually going on with her body. And if she was right, well... there was no way she could tell anyone, not even her close friends. It was something too important and personal, that even those who were extremely close to her heart should not know.

"I'm... fine! Just the arcane fewer... yeah... is she still sleeping?"

Directly her question at the only other person who was close to her, she would look in the direction where she remembered Jiyu fainting. Yuki confirmed that her younger friend was indeed still there, peacefully resting in the embrace of nature, using the lush and long grass as her cushion for a while now. That was good. It would probably raise a lot of questions if she saw her partner in this sorry state. Something like that should not be allowed. However, there was a small problem in form of more incoming enemies. They just barely defeated one wave and here was the second one. Stumbling around, the Eden's mage eventually managed to make it's way towards her friend and collapsed right next to her, shaking her quite violently.

"C'mon Jiyu, there's fighting to be done... you would not be happy with me defeating them all by myself, would you?"

Her body was still in shock after that sudden internal bleeding, making her a little bit weak. That was a problem when facing this many enemies. Making out the shadows in the mist, it looked like there were two more dark wizards, still very weak looking, accompanied by one storm astronach and another pack of at least fourteen wolves. Some of them very easy enough to defeat, but she would still appreciate some help right now, given the fact that her body was not exactly acting how it should. And that was never a good time. It was funny, really... there was something making her very sick, and yet, she actually felt very happy because of it. Especially because she knew what it was, or rather, who was sending her into this state. She knew from the very start that it was nothing more than just a matter of time before this would happen, before she could finally move her story forward again. Right now, she was on another adventure with her friend. But as soon as they would be done in this green world filled with magical energy, she would probably disappear for a while, seeking what had to be found. Her body was almost trembling now in anticipation... and the hunger inside her grew larger and larger by the minute. She was almost capable of feeling it, that sweet, sweet taste of revenge. The only darkness that managed to root inside of her heart and taint her innocence. That wrath she was hiding for so long now, it was almost time to let it out. They just had to reach their destination in this place, and then she could go for it, ending it for good.

It would have been best to keep her head clear and level, but that had been difficult for the past few months. Honestly, it was over rated when someone had things to think about, the only thing Jiyu wanted was to think of nothing, function like she had when she hopped ships! Back then, she’d been calculating, only concerned about her own welfare and desires, able to work hard and play harder. These day’s, that was something that almost never happened, if she worked or played hard she had to rest harder, she couldn’t do the other, only one. Was this a by product of the way she was coming to concern herself with others, or simply something else going on with her, that she had yet to figure out. Now was not the time to think about it, come to consider it thought, how was she even thinking! Kazehime clearly remembered losing her consciousness right in front of an enemy, the terror of knowing she’d likely be burned alive with no way to defend herself. However she was clearly alive if her mind was functioning in this way, pestering her and refusing to leave her alone about anything, she had to be alive. What was the cost this time though, there was always one, the last time it had been biting Magna, nearly turning on her ally and being treated like a literal dog because of this. Come to think of that, she still had to take revenge on him for that! However she was more concerned right now on whatever the cost of her continued life in the face of fire, she needed to wake up to see what had happened. However, Jiyu waking up took several minutes, her brain refusing to cooperate until it was entirely certain no traces of her fear remained around her. Slowly blue-green eyes peered open and squinted at the light above them, her body twitching as her limbs became aware of their placement once more. Upon realizing no one was directly above her, not in her direct sight line, the female shot up in panic, clutching a hand to her chest, afraid she’d been abandoned.

Maybe being abandoned in a safe place would have been better than the sight that greeted her.

“Leila.” she whispered, it going likely unheard, the blood coughed up earlier filling her nose as she turned over, looked down at her shaking friend. What in the world had happened? She moved one hand to touch Liela’s cheek, the eden mage’s words finally reaching her ears, upon hearing this she came to the conclusion one of their enemies must have struck her friend and caused this reaction. “Stay down alright?” she spoke it softly, fingers trailing off where they had been placed as Jiyu forced her body to stand, dark expression on her face, that evil look slowly fading into a smile which may just be more alarming. “So are you guys going to tell me which one of you useless sorry existences did this to her? Or am I going to have to kill every single one of you!” She was going to kill every single one of them anyways, her face stretching into a smile as her hands rose over her ears, trailing down to holding together as her heels kicked, than hovering one over her tail. Shortly after she was done, her demonic traits burst out all at once and her aura spread quickly, causing fear to spread into the attacking group as they had gotten close enough. It did not matter that part of her precious pack was lying right behind her, no that had no calming effect on this, in fact it only amplified the rage coursing through her body. Kazehime bit down on her own lips again, canine’s breaking the flesh on her lower one, causing blood to rivet out her mouth, her tongue swiped out and tasted the blood there, bringing it into her mouth to be swallowed. Even though she did not like doing it, she could take this action. Consuming her own blood did the same thing that swallowing the blood of others did, just to a lesser effect. This time she could not ask her friend for blood, Leila was downed already and she had finally caught sight of Yuki’s hands, even the dragoness had been hurt protecting her, that was not allowed to continue. “Run.” she growled it out, the wolves starting to retreat as the other’s enemies tried to decide what to do. Even if they were running? “I won’t grant you mercy anyway!” the half demoness laughed it out, lifting her arm which caused her wind blades to appear all over the field, slashing into her enemies and bringing a pleased smile to her face. “Rest in agony.” her hand rose, gripping her sleeve, using it to wipe blood from her mouth, so she would not have it dripping down her face when she turned to face Leila again.

“You can stay down if you need to~” her hand reached for a feather tucked into one of her pigtails, tossing it down “Feather.” as she spoke the item expanded beneath Leila and lifted the other girl. While Jiyu would never be able to carry someone on her own? With the use of her mythical little item, she could transport someone without holding them. “Do you need to go home?” the light orb seemed displeased, nudging them forward, as if they were almost there, but Jiyu was more concerned about Leila than following some whim she’d woken up with. If her friend could not continue this adventure, she’d make sure that leila got home safely and than came back later! Finally she looked over at Yuki and her burned hands once more, gaze shifting around slightly. “We should at least find a stream for you to soak those in.” she couldn’t say sorry for that, there was nothing any of them could have done to avoid it, sadly, she was sorry, but the word just wouldn’t do anything here.

“Fuck, do they not know when to quit?!” She glanced over at leila and Yuki, to see if either of them might be good for one last round. While she did not think her friend could be ready too soon?Yuki might be able to help fight the last wave, because this would be the last wave they would face, Jiyu wouldn’t make the two of them stay here any longer.

Jiyu finally woke up. Everything was fine and they were able to continue fighting without any problems, getting through this together. Well, that was what Leila thought. But the very moment her friend opened her eyes, another headache hit the poor silver haired maiden. And it was a strong one, forcing her to the ground for the time being. Which meant that her friend who was freshly awake had a free hand to do whatever she wanted. Normally that would be just fine... but she was in the same state she was in before, when they were fighting those angels. Full on hunting mode, transforming herself into a dangerous predator that clearly lusted for blood. That was definitely not good, not at all. But that pain inside of her head was too much, not allowing Leila to stop her friend at all. And Yuki was too concerned for her master to be stopping someone she didn't know all that well. So instead of getting in Jiyu's way, she stood between her and her owner, shielding her in case of something going wrong. Well, everything was kinda going wrong at this point, only not for Leila herself. Though she did partially blame herself for all of this. If she didn't ask for her friend to face those flaming elementals, she would have not fainted at all and this would probably not be happening. Though she would then see the actual reason for Leila's blood being all over the place right now, and she just had no idea which one would have been better. Not that it could have been changed now, what was done was simply done. And lives were lost today, as any other day. It simply could not be helped at all, that was how things were these days. And it was painful to watch, oh so painful. It was somehow making the girl sick to the stomach, almost as if she was to vomit blood at any moment. Thankfully nothing like that happened and they could remain calm.

    "No... they didn't..."

Those were the only words she was able to get out of her dry mouth. And of course, they had no weight anymore, as the fighting was completely over. She failed to stop her friend... if not for that damn headache, she would have stopped her, too. She had plenty of power to stop even demonic beast that Jiyu was capable of transforming into. Her magic was powerful and there was no question about that, her mind confident enough to say that Jiyu would not stand a chance if Leila really wanted to restrict her any put her into place. Of course, something like that would only make their friendship fall apart. Which actually brought up a good question... what had more worth? Someone's life or friendship between these two girls? If things would continue like this, she would eventually be forced to stop her friend at some point, right? It all ringed inside of her skull, making her more and more confused about everything. And in the meantime, Jiyu was talking to Yuki as well.

"Who do you think I am? The burns are long frozen, there is no need to apply anything else to the injury. And you... this happened because of you. So you could behave a little bit more and repay us that way. Do you think it's fun watching someone go into frenzy like that? If you hunger for blood, then go and hunt down some animals in the forest, and not humans. Acting like this will only bring trouble to Leila!"

Because of her body, her voice wasn't exactly loud. But it was still clear that she was serious and every word she let out was precisely chosen. She was protecting her owner with all of her strength and might. And while it all sounded like she was simply trying to get Jiyu away, she was actually just giving her advice. Because being in such a state would truly only burden Leila more. And on the topic of Leila, her headache was finally gone and she immediately left the giant feather, standing on her own two feet again.

"Thanks Yuki. But that's enough... I'm sure Jiyu understands deep down. I mean, that's why you ignored my messages, right? Because you were afraid that I would hate this form of yours... but instead of running, I think you should rather try to make me not hate you. By changing yourself, you know..."

Those words probably sounded really weird and harsh. And franky, Leila's mind was in completely different state than it was in normally. Was this really her talking? Who really knew at this point. But what was said could not be taken back just yet. And there was more enemies incoming. The same amount as before.

"I'll... yeah, I'll just take care of it. You can leave everything to your big sister~"

With her eyes turning a crimson bright, Leila giggled and suddenly disappeared in a wind and several gray leaves, reappearing among the group of enemies. She simply touched one and disappeared again as the the placed seal exploded into rotating branches that effectively brought down all enemies that were around. In other words, another flaming astronach and two wizards that were both holding flames. It appeared that there was no fear of flames any longer inside of the girl. In fact, her movements were completely different from before, almost as if she was dancing through the battlefield and having fun. The last dark wizard was slowly backing away, probably wanting to escape. But she didn't let him. A spike suddenly rose from the ground, nearly impaling the poor man and sending him flying. The fall itself probably made sure he broke at least few of his limbs. And then, Leila just went limp for a second before starting to move normally again, as if she just woke up from a lovely dream. The fight was done and they were free to continue going after the white orb, wherever it was leading them.

Jiyu was trying to help Yuki somehow, the other girl had been hurt protecting her after all. The last thing she’d been expecting? Had been to be snapped at in such a way, hearing the cold girls biting voice and slowly retracing her outstretched hand to in front of her chest. “You.” she was about to tell Yuki she healed remarkably fast, but the dragon like female was not done, and the wind user’s ears twitched with the words, getting ready to defend herself against the fox tailed girl, not realizing Leila was becoming well enough to speak again, and the effect her friends words would have on her fragile mentality. “I”

She was getting sick and tired of losing her own control, it was why she had been hesitant to consume blood, spent months washing her mouth out every time she accidentally cut herself with her own fangs. Frightening those close to her with the changes she underwent when she had even a drop of blood? It was something she never wanted to do, it was why she was so cautious, so frightened of even letting those close to her know she was half demon. Actually Leila had been the last one left in the dark so to speak, but still, Jiyu had even tried to hide it from her own guild. Making people she did not even know tremble, it was an aphrodisiac of the highest addicting quality, a drug she consumed happily without issue. However it was so different when it was someone she held dear who was being affected by her new demonic ways, and she never wanted things that way. Yet, she lost herself in her own instincts and passions so often, and she could never say for sure who she was. Most people had a defined idea of who a woman like her should be, like how Leila saw her as someone who should remain cute and innocent. Yet the wind mage, she had no clue who she was herself! Year’s had been spent running away from home, running from everything, the time she stopped running was in line with her demon blood waking up. Before turning into what she was now, she never had the chance to define who she was, so the girl had no defense over what people thought was her being taken over by her new instincts, at first she had believed she was being overtaken as well. However as time passed, each time she bit into her herself or someone, something else, Jiyu came closer and closer to the conclusion that there was nothing taking her over when she entered that state, it was just her, less controlled than without the sweet tangy metallic taste, but still it was her and there was nothing she could do about that! Kazehime was reluctant to reveal that to anyone; but when leila had made no true comment about her wanting the angels dead, wanting their blood, being something that was so wrong and sinful? She had thought revealing the fact she believed that her demon was who she was, Jiyu had believed it possible even if only  for a day or two, that people could accept her this way. However the eden mage took  away the very hope she had instilled into the young wind user, ripping it away, tearing out Jiyu’s heart and ripping it to shreds just after she had placed a mend on it.

“but instead of running, I think you should rather try to make me not hate you. By changing yourself, you know..."

She did not want to run away anymore, the canine tailed woman had decided that shortly after practicing to perfect her secondary magic, realizing she had a home for once, one not riddled with the pain of her past around every corner! However that was not the part of the statement that hurt her, if was just being told to stop running it would be fine, she knew it was a bad habit she had. The words she heard went too far, they tore into an old wound that had always been left rather fresh by her own brain. A sound emitted like she was going to speak, but she couldn’t, her throat tightened until she felt like she couldn’t breath anymore, each attempt at breath almost sounding like literal wheezing as she looked down, eyes wide in shock. Jiyu had thought Leila accepted her like this, adored even her demonic half, accepted it as part of the deal. It was part of the deal, right? She trembled as she stood there and the other girl pranced off to fight the enemies without even realizing what she had done, small rivers of tears streaking down the side of her downturned face and wetting the ground beneath her. She couldn’t let Leila catch her crying! The girl didn’t deserve to see this much of a rise out of her, the only people who got to see her cry where the one’s who well and truly cared, the last person to see her cry was her mother and then marschal momentarily when he saved her. The tears she shed when the savages who held her would burn her or such, in that darkness? It didn’t count, that was a result of fear, not emotional pain like these tears where.

    “Impossible.”

She couldn’t be accepted in this state, no matter how much she had hopped for it, that was just porven. While some of her guildmates, her family, while they may accept this shift passively, other’s could not greet it with anything besides hatred. Feeling nothing was better than hatred and being hated. Her slightly covered hands rose to grip her own arms as the fight raged, she didn’t even really notice Leila’s change, the tears being forced to dry as she went number. “I can’t.” she couldn’t just leave everything to her ‘big sister’ that was never going to happen, not again! Jiyu turned away from the duo of girls, people she trusted with her life seconds again. The light orb swirled around her and she followed it, not caring where it was leading her, so long as it was away. Kazehime followed it back towards the portal, since none of the required beasts had been fought, there was no reason to stay. Leila hated her, the other girl had said it, out loud, almost directly. Jiyu thought she would be happy if someone told her the fact they hated her directly, after-all she believed her parents hated the fact she was only half demon and only half human, what else would they keep it from her all these years! However instead of relief and the ability to just move on, it dug a razor sharp knife deeply into her heart, and no matter how she reached, Jiyu was incapable of removing the blade. The wind user was quick to move, and exited the world, heading back from the portals towards Rose Garden, towards a place that at least didn’t hate her. Lacrima lit up her small steps as she walked through the city, looking around with this ghostly expression on her face, light casting down onto her pale flesh and making her appear as if she could be a ghost walking through the street’s, tail hanging limply behind her, hair swaying without sign of life. “Huh.” she looked over at a tavern, biting her bottom lip again. When her father was drinking? He didn’t seem like he wanted to dig a knife into himself, nothing seemed to bother him but the booze itself! Maybe she could find the same thing in whiskey that he did, she swore she hated him for it, would never do it; Yet there she was standing there, looking up at the sign for the place, not moving, just staring, she was thinking about it, and it killed her even more inside.

Post by Noheme 8th September 2016, 2:05 pm

Jiyu's breakdown was silently watched by Yuki who had caused a good portion of it. But she wasn't the one to fix it. In reality of things, the little girl didn't care about humans and their emotions at all. What she cared about was Leila, at least to a certain degree. And while she didn't always show that directly, those feelings were there. Yuki herself had many secrets, and she too knew what was going on for the most part here. Which was why she didn't stop the other girl from running away even if she had the ability to do so. Because this was simply not her job, not something she wanted to do. Jiyu wasn't her friend, she was basically a stranger who was capable of impacting Leila's life a lot. And that was somewhat a problem. Right now, she had no idea who's side to take, after all. Instead of going smoothly, the plan quickly fell apart and everything was now a complete chaos. At least there was one good thing that came from this whole ordeal now that any other people were gone. She would get to talk to 'her' again, without any interruptions. And just as she thought about that, Leila with her eyes still bright red appeared next to her, her smile wider than usual as she watched the young dragoness just kinda stand around. It was pretty clear that she was still in that very strange state from before.

"What are we going to do now. I got too tired of it all and said so many things, the girl just stormed out. I don't think there is any way we can catch up to her at this point either."

"No worries~ she will recover eventually. Everyone loses something from time to time... just like me and you. It's now fair you know... their friendship is not fair at all. They don't know one another even that long! And yet, they are acting so friendly, almost as if they were willing to give their life away to protect the other. Something like that mustn't happen. Because it's not fair and that girl deserves it all! Big sis hates Jiyu so much for stealing away everything! Even though we were so close...!!"

As she continued talking, Leila's expression slowly twisted from a happy one into that of rage and wrath, smile no longer visible at all. And the crimson glow of her eyes only grew stronger as well, leaving trails of static light around her head, almost like a neon light of sorts. And her whole aura, slowly shifting it's very nature towards something much more sinister. But all of that swelling anger, it was interrupted by the young girl's voice that slowly floated through the air at slow pace.

"Is it really alright? Humans are fragile... and she was breaking apart for a while now, it's visible. And given how close they are, she might even become the next target? And that doesn't feel right at all, you kno-" It was clear that Yuki wanted to say more, but a slender finger landed on her lips, sealing them tight.

"Hehe, you grew so compassionate, I'm glad~ But as I said... that girl only deserves it. And so does the old man! How dare he, using magic like that, forcing us out when we don't need to be out! But it's fine... he will be found soon, and no mercy awaits him for what he had done to us, to both of us! Everyone will pay for all the pain they have caused us so far... but... I... my head... hehe..."

With a gentle giggle, Leila slowly collapsed only to be caught by Yuki who sighed deeply. Things really were getting complicated, more than ever before. And when Leila opened her eyes again, only few moments later, her eyes would be back to that lovely blue color which was very reminiscent of a deep ocean. And finally, all her headaches were gone. The old man probably gave up on the spell, as it has done it's job or he deemed it completely useless and not working. Which one, she knew not. Though she would find out not too long from now.

"Yuki? Uh... did I pass out? Where is... where's Jiyu? I remember her waking up and then I just kinda lost my... geez, this is not good, is it?"

Covering most of her face with her palm, she noticed that she was sweating quite a lot. Whatever happened here, it was probably pretty intense. All the enemies were laying around, either dead or knocked out. And her partner was nowhere to be found. Just what had happened when her consciousness went into the depths of darkness itself? Probably nothing good, judging from Yuki's facial expression. The little dragon shook her head with pained look on her face and slowly opened her mouth, speaking loud and clear.

"I said some pretty mean things to her on accident. After that, she ran off, crying I think. She's long gone now."

That really did not sound good. If Jiyu actually cried, then it meant that some of Yuki's words struct a really sensitive nerve. Despite what had happened in the past, she had never actually cried in front of Leila after all. So this must have been really serious. Not even questioning what she had said, the Eden's mage would look back towards where she imagined the portal back was. And grabbing her little companion's hand, she ran towards it. She ran as fast as she could, soon crashing through the magical aura and appearing back in the Earthland. It was just as Yuki said... her friend was nowhere to be seen, no clues anywhere as to where she could have gone. For all Leila knew, she might have still actually been inside Kyoka, holed up somewhere below a tree. There was really only one place the girl knew about that had some connection to her doggy friend. The Rose Garden! But before she would run towards that place, she let go of the snow dragon's hand, only offering her one last look before bolting away. She left her companion there, at the gates. And she didn't even need to look back to know that she was not moving, just standing there lifelessly. But even after reaching the magical place which was filled with joy and people that were enjoying themselves, she still had no idea where Jiyu would actually be, if she even was somewhere in this place. This situation truly was hopeless. Without any leads, it was simply impossible. Rose Garden was too large of a place to find one specific person, unless they were a giant that would be taller than the buildings everywhere. Feeling more than just sad, she had to give up. This adventure was one of the few that did not have a happy ending. They didn't accomplish anything and their friendship probably took a heavy hit. After all, Jiyu was very sensitive to any talk about hate and such, she probably totally believe every word that Yuki had said. Thinking about all that, she went to the nearest hotel and rented a room for a single night. Indeed, she wasn't even in the mood to return to her actual room where she had all of her possessions right now. What good was her power if it could not save a single thing... perhaps it really would have been better if she never discovered her magic in the first place.

    Wc Achieved.

She had never felt like this before, the utter hopelessness filling her body and drowning out the voice of her hearts desire to have any form of hope. Even though she was standing right here alive? The woman felt like she was transparent, see through and invisible! Standing right here felt like she was already dead, believed that someone had deemed her unworthy to live and dug a dagger right into her vulnerable chest, straight through her heart. Wait! Jiyu recalled that was exactly what had happened. She had given someone a huge piece of her heart, exposed her affection to them , laid herself bare of all defenses. This time? She'd made a mistake! The numbing pain spreading through her body said it clearly, she'd made one of the biggest mistakes of her life. “How did it come to this?” A common question outside such an establishment, with its painfully neurotic flashing lights and sharp scents. Yet? Jiyu could not find an answer, sure she knew why, but the female did not want to admit how badly she'd fucked up! Kazehime had been happy in the belief that the hate which had killed her mother did not touch her, she couldn't have been more wrong and it hurt as badly as any literal wound could agonize her! “Fuck.” She eventually walked into the bar when she caught that melon thick scent in town. If Leila was trying to take it back now? Well there was no taking it back, especially not so soon! “Your strongest whiskey please.” No one would expect to find her in here, she hated alcohol, mostly everyone who knew her also came to figure out she did not drink! Maybe she could make an exception tonight though? Would it make her a horrible hypocrite, destroy her sense of self, change her identity, if she gave up just once and followed in her father's steps. The most important question though, as the wide rim glass was set in front of her, that essential core question? Was if she was willing to betray herself this far, sink down into the bottles comfort for a pain close to the one that had chased him down into the bottom! “Thank you.” She set down jewel to pay for the drink, even though she had not taken a single sip. In the end? She could not do it, Jiyu could not pick up the glass and take away her own pain, she could not become like him, no after the things she said when she ran away all those years ago! Being numb, feeling dead and hollow, it was better than stabbing herself in the back. Kazehime stumbled out of the bar almost as if she'd actually had some of her drink, ears dropped down and tail sagged. Even if she had given into temptation? Jiyu knew the consolation provided would be fake, she'd feel worse when she sobered up. A wound like this only was affected by time, nothing she did would take away the pain.

Only as she walked towards the silver moon, she didn't even feel the pain anymore. The only thing that Jiyu felt right now? Was nothing, her emotions shutting down as her bodies only form of defense against the searing pain. Every trace of life had vanished from soulless eyes as she pushed open her rooms door, picking up the mewling kitsune within, staring with stoic icy expression. “I'm home~” but it didn't even sound like she was there, static behind her voice. Even if someone did not know her? There was clearly something wrong with the woman, some damage so severe she'd suddenly become a husk to deal with it.
