OOC: Using the nightshade appearance, the second one on her profile, which a link to is in my sig.
The morning was bright and colorful, in contrast to the night, which was dark and dreary, or at least interrupted. Beauty sleep became no more as Nightshade awoke within her bed and slammed the alarm clock to silence. She wasn't sure if it was due to a hunger induced dream, or she just moved into a haunted location, but a phantom telling her to visit the glowing portals had visited her mind's machinations during her sleep and disturbed her ever so, to the point where she deemed it important to visit the portals, or at least make a concerted effort to do so. This wasn't due to wishing to help the spirit, but rather she wanted to make sure that it originated from the portals and not her new abode, otherwise she would have to hire an exorcist to take care of the problem and the house would probably smell of garlic and candle wax for weeks, as opposed to flowery perfection and glistening perfumes. Doing her usual routine, she strapped on her typical little adventuring outfit, and headed out the door, hoping to resolve the problem without much incident.
Apparently the planet was called coconut or something? Honestly, Nightshade hadn't paid much attention, aside from the scenery, which seemed, from the posters at least, to flow with magical energy and portents. It was only when she arrived at the portals that she found the planet was called Kyoka, or at least that's what the people in Fiore called it, for all Nightshade knew the planet's real name could the hokey pokey or bumstickle. All silliness aside, well for the moment, Nightshade pondered for a bit the ramifications of going onto another planet, especially one which seemed to bolster magical power, then she decided that for one such as her, it just meant that the planet could buff her abilities to a fragment what they naturally should be, which was all the more reason to dial the gate and head on through.
It was a strange feeling, being warped to another planet, and to be frank, Nightshade could do without the experience again, it wasn't unpleasant just odd. She enjoyed the more refined things in life, and having your molecules scattered about the cosmos wasn't one of the finer things. Hopefully, amidst the lush lights flickering in the sky and the beautiful greenery and magical pulses she could find some kind of refuge to the nightmare that had plagued her the night before. Thankfully it wasn't too long that a little light just like the one she had found stalking her dreams manifested itself nearby. Observing it for but a brief moment, Nightshade pondered what exactly it was trying to say to her, or what it's purpose was in the first place. Little did she know that it was waiting for another to arrive, one who had a similar experience.
