For some time now, the two mages have been walking in silence through what seemed to be an endless underground pathway. With only the resounding sound of the heels of their boots clacking against the frozen ground, creating a clacking echo which would alert anyone, or anything that might even reside in these forgotten mine shafts. If there was anyone at all, something that even Harrigan started to doubt.
To make matters even more annoying then the imminent destination of probably nothing, was the cursed coldness of this place. Hell, it was probably even colder in here then on the surface. Really, even Harrigan questioned why crazed doctors and mad scientists had to build their hidden laboratories so far away form society, in the most inhospitable places.
That was why they were here, to find and locate a so called deranged scientists. That was shunned from society for some unholy failed experiments. Well failed was still a matter of opinion, while some may call the destruction of an entire towns district a failed experiment, Harrigan would call it a success. Especially one would survive such an ordeal. And more importantly, someone like that would surely be valuable to him and thus Savage Skull.
Through the scanning abilities of Rosetta, they managed to find some sort of entrance. Yet because of the thickness of the ice and several kind of metals in the ground here. She failed to entirely pinpoint the location. Yet she was sure that somewhere in these mineshaft was the secret entrance to their goal. And since it was ice, Harrigan also decided to bring along their newest member on their little voyage. Yuki Chimei, the young woman he managed to persuade to join his cause. A young woman who above all was the most suited in this kind of environment, and as well wanted to see her capabilities.
'Tch' he said annoyed, while his breath took form as it would do during winter 'how long has it been? An hour? and still no sign of anything that could remotely hint towards the whereabouts of this so called scientist!
Maybe he was long dead, killed and mauled by one his very own creations. Or maybe, there was just nothing to find here. That the this location was nothing more then a hoax, a rumor created by himself or simple idle gossip. Either way, he had to find out soon before his patient runs out.
