Because we didn't read the "No Return" part of the deal(Job/Mura) - Page 2 Empty Re: Because we didn't read the "No Return" part of the deal(Job/Mura)

The Archmage was surely pushed to a corner now. Getting hit by sinister aura slashes, plus Sorano’s Solid Script formulas and Hoshi's unique, elemental powers that she was showing off right now, not even the head of the sun mages felt at ease. While the Archmage stood there, gazing at the fearsome opponents, Mura slowly stepped forward. They was going to end this battle now, but exactly how was still not decided. However, dark thoughts haunted his enclosed mind, as whispers could be heard around him. He didn’t bother the sounds before, but now that he’d calmed down a little, he could clearly sense the annoyance. “Hng… what..?” Mura suddenly spoke up in curiosity, swiftly looking around him. It was like if he was turning crazy, all those sounds around him… they appeared ethereal. Something unnatural was talking to him, constantly whispering things like “My host” and “Plunge…” It was rather scary, because he didn’t know the origins of those voices. However, he was quite busy now, so the voices could wait for later…

When he looked up again, he found himself in a dome of light. It appeared that his guild mate had activated a kind of light spell to attack the Archmage. However, another effect was present; as he was engulfed in light as well, a sudden feeling of refresh surrounded him. The thick light leaked into his wounds and burn marks, slowly healing and removing them. A more fresh feeling appeared on him, and the purplish aura that engulfed him earlier was a little mixed with the light that Sorano used for her spell, resulting in a little side effect; a twilight, glittering aura engulfed him this time, and it had its effects on him as well. For example, the murky expression left him, causing his usual sense to trigger once more. He moved up his palm once again, wondering about what weird feeling that he had before. “…” He didn’t speak out any words in the beginning, but simply realizing the situation slowly.

“I see…” he spoke up slowly, moving his eyes towards the Archmage, “I really hate this weird power… but I guess that it can’t help itself. Kyuken..!” In a moment, the spirit samurai stuck its head out of Harusame, responding to Mura’s call. “I’m here, master… was that just..?” the samurai anxiously asked him, but Mura moved a hand towards him, prompting him to stop. “It’s okay… we’ll adapt to it, soon,” Mura replied with calm, trying to ease Kyuken’s worriedness a little, “Now…” He moved his eyes upon the damaged Archmage, who was furious as ever. Also, it appeared as if he was scared by... a mirror? That would most likely be Sorano's magic, but why the terrified look? Mura, though, saw this as an opportunity and charged towards the Archmage, swinging the twilight-cloaked sword towards his belly. Due to the constant pressure from the light around him, and the mirror that caused several horrors to awaken in him, he couldn't but retrieve the cut and get launched back by the swift samurai.

When the Archmage stood up again, Mura charged against him once more. However, something stopped him midway; the sun mage’s magic power surged out of his body, this time increasing in size and radius, slowly trying to push Sorano’s light away with his own. “I guess that’s it… you’re really astray, poor people,” the Archmage proclaimed to them, “Have the honour… to be eradicated by me.”
He gave no warnings; the entire room was lit up in light. The Archmage had decided not to hold back at all, even if that meant destroying everyone in the room, including his own initiates. At least, that was what it seemed like, as he didn’t give any signs of holding back. “He’s going all out now… Sorano!” he quickly spoke to her, “We need to get in cover! Or else, he’ll..!” He didn’t know if his warning was quick enough, because the Archmage had appeared to unleash a giant, explosive wave all around him. It covered every angle and was almost impossible to dodge for poor Mura, who could only take the attack right on. He quickly fused the spirit inside Harusame into a shield, in order to block the incoming wave that would most likely push them all away from the tower…

OOC: Congratulations, you are the first person to witness Sorano's time ability :D ))

    Sorano Granon
Seeing Mura's aura along with Kyuken's return slowly to normal with her spells light, she smiled in relief. Though she hadn't been healed, she was much more at ease with familiar and normal auras all around her. Now, to take care of that poor woman's mind... Sorano quickly yelled over the din of the battle towards Mura, "I'm going to try to sway the mages' minds here, Kensho-san, Kyuken-san! I may be temporarily out of battle! Oh, and yeah... Cover your ears and don't you dare listen to me!" She quickly strode towards the initiates, keeping Luna above her head in case anything came flying at her. The shield would reduce the damage a bit, for certain.

Slowly, she began to speak, her voice building up illusions all around her, carrying powerful persuasion only a letter mage's voice could hold. For she could pour such powerful meaning into every word, defining them just with the way she said it, it was beautiful. "Think of the life you could have elsewhere, living the way you want to, not the way these mages and priests want you to!" she called out, voice ringing above the din, turning heads all around. The weaker initiates had no choice but to listen to her, with the powerful aura she was radiating. "The sun would weep if he saw what terrible crimes you're all committing by worshipping it in such a sinful way! In fact, I'm sure you can all hear it too, right? The way the sun weeps? It wishes for you all to be happy, happy with your families! Friends! Haven't you ever thought of that?" It might not have all been true, but what she said became true for the initiates. Slowly, they ceased battle, and some wept with joy at the beauty of a letter mage's ultimate voice. It was all rather annoying to Sorano, really.

Just then, the archmage, whose power was strong enough to resist her voice suddenly burst forth sunlight, blinding them all, Sorado stumbled back in shock, knowing she couldn't escape such a huge wave of magic. Her barrier spell would shatter, as would her mirrors. Teleportation would take too long and the light would follow if she were to transport everyone. She could hear screams and yells emanating, Hoshi's cry... Her hand reached into Luna, gripping the metal slider. She clicked it into the hourglass hidden inside, and everything froze. Absolutely everything had frozen, not a thing moved. Nothing, except for her.

Sorano slowly stood, carefully gathering up Hoshi in her arms, the exceed blinking to life in the frozen time. Luna's most powerful ability was one to stop or travel backwards in time, powerful and dangerous a magic. She didn't use it often, but the weaker initiates would have perished, as would have Hoshi. The exceed would never have been able to throw up her barrier in time. She slowly stumbled towards Mura, gripping his arm to wake him up. "Kensho-san, don't let go of me, no matter what. Try to grab onto everyone you can, except for the archmage." With that, she went around, awkwardly grabbing onto every initiate she could spot and slowly edging around until they were all in a line.

Here, Sorano carefully spawned a mirror, one that would lead to the ground outside. "Let's go," she said dully, starting to feel the effects of using too much magic. Time would start again soon, and they would have to hurry on out.

    (OOC: :O, I'm honoured...)

From the other side of the room, Mura could suddenly hear Sorano’s call. She was going to try and affect the initiates’ minds, so she warned him to not listen to her incoming speech, which would most likely affect all listeners in the room. Mura nodded quickly in response and pulled down his headphones to hear above Sorano’s voice. “Master!” Kyuken spoke up in shock, “The Archmage..!” Mura moved his eyes towards the worshipper, whose energy was building up. He couldn’t really hear Kyuken, but suddenly spoke up: “Let’s wait for Sorano. She might succeed in helping those poor souls.” He couldn’t really find out how she would do it, but that was irrelevant.

However, a little while later, the Archmage had charged up enough. The entire place was lit up in light, and the second that Mura thought that he would get hit pretty badly, everything seemed to stop by a touch. Someone touched him. It came to him like a shock, but soon, he realized that the explosion was right in front of him; stopped. It stood completely still in the air, as if time had paused. “… Huh?” he spoke up in curiosity, looking at Sorano. She told him not to let go and asked him to grab on to everyone around them, the initiates and all other mages, except the Archmage himself. Mura agreed to the idea and weirdly tried to reach out to everyone. He used his present Spirit Bind spell to form the aura around Harusame into a hand, constantly grabbing onto people. “This is amazing… stopping time like this,” he commented the phenomenon, “I hope that it’ll suffice for us.”

When they grabbed everyone and stood in a line, Sorano created a magic mirror in front of her. They were told to go through it, although the way that Sorano said it was a little dull. That might’ve been the effect of using magic; maybe she was using too much. That would only mean one thing; that the paused time would run again soon. With that in mind, Mura tried his best to literally push people through the barrier, trying to get them in safety. “Hurry, guys!” he said to them, while they popped through the mirror. A faint light was about to reach them, and Mura finished by pushing him and Sorano through the barrier in a hurry. They barely reached it; Mura’s back could feel the sudden heat that headed for them. Luckily, no one else were hurt or anything, when they reached the other side.

“Argh, my back, my back..!” Mura yelled in agony, flapping his hands towards his heated back and jumping around. Kyuken tried to cool it down as well by flapping his ghostly hands towards the smoke that leaked out of the spirit mage’s back; although, it was in vain. Happily, they reached out of the tower before it appeared to crumble by the impact of the explosion. So much for trying to bring down two “infidels”. That reminded him of the daughter, as he moved towards Sorano and the two initiates that were with them at the top floor. The ambers on their heads had disappeared, which pleased him. “Well... I guess that she’s going back home, right?” Mura asked them. What Sorano did to convince them was unknown to him, but nonetheless did it impress him.

He guessed that he’d learned a lot today. Especially about his guild mate, Sorano. She’d appeared calm the entire time, which showed a sign of complete control over one’s feelings and expressions. That wasn’t bad at all; in fact, it symbolized a wise figure, who wouldn’t let his or her feelings take the upper hand in their actions. Although, Mura could clearly sense her soul… because it appeared emptier than most others. That worried him a little in the beginning, and he didn’t exactly know why. He thought about it a lot, and it would be pretty clear for everyone around him that something was wrong. But in the end, a soft laugh came out of him. "Haha... I told you, didn't I?" he reminded her, referrign to when they were at the train station, "I know you much better now..."

“Master...” Kyuken interrupted. Mura watched at him, and realized his intention to speak up right now. "I see..." Mura spoke up, while turning around and looking at the tower. To their surprise, a certain figure was approaching them; with light erupting from his body and furious expressions surging out of him, Mura could easily see who it was. Does he never stop? He lifted up Harusame once more, and finally, the usual light erupted from the tip of the blade. “Here he comes, Sorano,” he warned her, “Give it your all now..!” To add up on his surprise, the previous inititates prepared their magics as well; it appeared that they wanted to bring the Archmage down as well. Well, judging by how he tricked them, it was understandable. All their sunny magics, radiating and intense, were targeting the one figure in the distance. The bluish aura inside Harusame began to erupt and set ablaze, taking the form of a torso; specifically, the torso of the Heaven and Earth Swordsman, Kyuken. This was Mura’s strongest Spirit Bind, which he was going to launch at the incoming threat. “Spirit Bind..!” he spoke up, as Kyuken would lift his blade, “Great Soul!” The blade would be swung downwards, towards the light mage, while a rain of light blasts were launched by the apprentices. Mura would be ready for Sorano to launch out her spell as well, so that they would team up against this guy, bringing him down once and for all…

    Sorano Granon
Sorano clenched her fists angrily at how drained she was starting to feel, after that chain of spells. She quickly managed to put out the fire that had caught on part of her dress with a quick solid script spell that caused a wave of moisture and coldness to put the flames out. After ensuring that Hoshi was alright, she turned back to help the others. The exceed looked after her friend worriedly, not liking how the letter mage walked with slight limp and seemed to be moving slowly and more drooped than her usual erect and brisk way of walking.

Hoshi raced after her, grabbing onto the rim of her skirt and clinging tightly until Sorano looked down at her. "Hoshi... I promise I'll be fine, okay? I'll only use my easiest spells, I promise!" she said quietly, trying to smile at the exceed. As usual, it turned out horribly. Hoshi slowly let herself drop again, then unsheathed her claws, letting them slide into the earth. It was such a secure and strong thing, the earth, and it helped her try to calm herself down. But by the time she looked up again, Sorano had already hurried over to Mura, Kyuken, and the initiates, checking to ensure everyone was okay.

Sorano, meanwhile, glanced over at Mura, who seemed to be glancing at her. She could see uncertainty and slight curiosity in the glow around him, and she sighed softly. She could guess that he was wondering about how she was emotionless. A lot of people in the guild knew about her "condition" by now, but apparently Mura hadn't been informed. Meeting his gaze, she nodded, "Yes, I suppose so. And I can tell you're curious about the way I act, aren't you?" she asked, tilting her head, "We're guildmates, so go ahead and ask anything you'd like."

However, before he could answer, the sun mage was back. With the initiates' extra help, Sorano was growing more confident they could take this guy down. "Solid Script: Lightning!" she called out, a huge lightning bolt crashing down along with everyone else's spells. Hoshi joined in with a huge ball of water, hurled right in that direction. As the smoke cleared, the mage had been utterly knocked out, and on the brink of death. "Ah... I think we went a little too far..." Hoshi stammered, quickly hurrying over. They would be in trouble if he died on them.

Suddenly, the client's daughter rushed over, hovering her hands above the archmage and letting a soft golden glow shine down on him. "Thank you all, for everything," she said quietly, smiling up at the Fairy Tail mages.

“It’s nothing, really. Hehe…” Mura responded to the client’s daughter. Man, they really knocked the Archmage out; he feared that they might’ve overdone it a little, until he could spot twitches from his fingers. “Phew, he’s fine,” Mura commented with a big smile, obviously understating his condition. Kyuken popped out of Harusame a moment after, looking at the wrecked sun mage. “Ouch…” he let out, “Did I overdo it..?” Telling by the Archmage’s state and Hoshi’s comment, they were pretty close to overdo it; how lucky they were.

Mura caught up on Sorano’s question, realizing that she noticed his questioning look. “Oh… yeah, that’s correct,” he replied, scratching his hair a little. Indeed, the way that she acted made him curious, but he thought that it was something irrelevant or inappropriate to talk about. However, getting her permission to ask out, he decided to spit out: “Okay… I guess I’ll ask you; during this mission, you appeared surprisingly calm. Even calmer than I’ve ever even thought about. I guess that's fine, but…” He stopped midway and took a close look, moving his gaze directly into her brown eyes, “Why can’t I see any feelings from you..?” He referred to her soul as he couldn’t see any affections on its structure. Souls had many weird abilities; Mura could easily sense the conditions of one person by sensing his or her soul. However, it was different for Sorano; she didn’t express anything.

“I see it as well,” a familiar voice commented. Kyuken’s bluish spirit leaked out of the blade, forming to the form of him as he looked like for centuries ago, “After studying you for a while today, I realized… you’re literally emotionless.” Mura got a little surprised by the statement; emotionless. It didn’t sound nice at all, but that might’ve been due to his ignorance about her state. It sounded like an insult for him; how could Kyuken insult his own guild mate? “Hey, Kyuken, that’s not nice to say…” Mura spoke back to him. It definitely was distant for him to call another person emotionless; especially a guild mate. However, he couldn’t deny it completely, because he’d watched her as well, and she seemed… emotionless. It still sounded wrong to him, though, but… it could be possible. “… Is it true?” Mura calmly asked her, deciding to learn the truth by herself…

    Sorano Granon
Sorano nodded briefly at the client's daughter, then turned to Mura to answer his and Kyuken's question. "Why can't I see any feelings coming from you...?" he burst out, obviously having been curious about it for a while. Sorano nodded, having guessed it before it had been asked. "Well, it's really very complicated if you think about it too much...so I suppose I'll shorten things down a bit," she said softly, as they made their way slowly back towards the train station.

"I...went through some trauma, you could say when I was younger, around maybe ten? It was caused by my emotions, after my family was killed. It...pushed me to do things I now regret, and I ended up pushing myself to the brink of death in the process. Hoshi was with me then, and, well, I believe it may have been I who caused her panophobia back then...I really did some horrible things. My teacher, Anna Litbell-sensei found me in a clearing nearby and took me in. She, well, after trying all different types of therapy on me without any working, she decided to try a sort of meditation process with me. It slowly formed a barrier around my emotions and trapped them away, which keeps everything bad away, too," Sorano explained, "So, yes, I am completely emotionless, and though I could let them out again... I don't think I could control my emotions if they were loose."

Boarding the train, she looked back at Mura. "But, with the odd emotions stunt you pulled back there...I don't know what it was. Buy if you are aiming for emotionlessness as well, I'll just warn you that just as many drawbacks come with it as do benefits."

Because we didn't read the "No Return" part of the deal(Job/Mura) - Page 2 Empty Re: Because we didn't read the "No Return" part of the deal(Job/Mura)

Post by Mura Kensho 12th May 2016, 5:58 am

At first, it sounded unreal for Mura; that someone like Sorano could’ve done any horrible things back then was distant and didn’t suited the very controlled mind of hers. Despite that he’d only seen her for a day or half a day, he saw her as a very calm and smart girl, bnd that Hoshi had gotten that scared because of such a past… by her? He tried to stay as calm as possible, but the explanation almost shocked him. However, judging by her past, he could slowly understand it all; why she locked away her emotions, which made her legit emotionless, so that she could keep herself in control and lock all the bad things away. It appeared that Kyuken was right.

“…” It was rather hard for him to think of anything, but he remembered that she chose it herself. To be emotionless, so that she could control herself… from whatever bad she used to do. When Mura found himself at the train station again, Sorano turned around and warned him about turning emotionless as well; the way that he was when engulfed by Pluto’s power appeared to concern her. “Oh, was there something wrong with me?” he curiously asked her. He didn’t realize how he was back then; he felt like quite ‘himself’, although the surroundings might’ve seen him much different. Kyuken, on the other hand, could clearly feel something wrong with him back then, as he began to shake a little by the terrifying feeling. “Oh, well… it’s not me to judge your decision. You chose it yourself, right..?” he spoke to her, “But if there really are drawbacks… that tells me that there are some things that you can’t do without feelings.” He began wondering about how she felt about those around her; firstly, the guild that she was a part of, the family that she was a part of. How’d she feel about Fairy Tail? Plus, she wanted to keep all the bad things that she’d done away from everyone else, which showed some worriedness to other people. Isn't that a feeling, emotion? Despite that she referred herself as “emotionless”, she did a lot of things that could’ve been driven by feelings. Well, he didn’t exactly know what she did to lock her emotions away, so he sighed and forgot those thoughts, stepping onto the train. “Feelings, or no feelings… you’re still my guild mate,” he said to her, while walking towards their seats, “And the fact that you seem to worry about me shows that you feel the same way. Don’t you..?” A little smile appeared on his face, as he found his seat and sat down, once again looking over the fields...

Because we didn't read the "No Return" part of the deal(Job/Mura) - Page 2 Empty Re: Because we didn't read the "No Return" part of the deal(Job/Mura)

OOC: I've put the job up already, but we can continue in a social-style as long as you want ~ ))

    Sorano Granon
Sorano glanced over at Mura in surprise, as she had thought he knew what was happening to him already. "Kensho-san, you're emotional patterns were suddenly disrupted and warped when that odd dark aura began spreading out around you. Kyuken-san's emotions completely disappeared," she said, tilting her head. How could one not notice such a drastic change in emotion? But, then again, in order to keep herself completely indifferent, she had to be sensitive to things like that.

Listening to Mura's next sentences, she nodded. "Indeed. Being emotionless... Well, for one, you become very indecisive. You can see the advantages and disadvantages of something, and it gets hard to choose. It's cost me precious time in many battles. And...I have to be careful to keep some sort of rules for myself. Things normally people would do automatically due to emotions such as acting kindly, or helping others I have to set as rules for myself." This was really the reason she might seem to have emotions. By setting rules for herself, she would be able to make herself look out for others hold back a little in battles, take care if and look out for guildmates, etc. Of course, former habits also helped as well. Little things she would do in situations such as picking at her hair when in tense situations or clenching her fists in angrier situations.

She tilted her head slightly at the last things Mura said, pondering it. How should she respond? Her natural response would be to tell the truth and say she honestly couldn't care less about how he was doing, but might that be breaking the rule of taking care of guildmates? She went with her natural instinct, and said in a blunt tone, "I couldn't care less about you and the guild, if you want me to be completely honest." she looked out her side of the window as well, as serious an expression as always. "Sorano!" Hoshi hissed, shocked at how blunt her friend was. "Don't be so rude!"

Post by Mura Kensho 13th May 2016, 11:11 am

(OOC: It's cewl, we'll just see where this thread leads us...)

He was truly ignorant about this. According to Sorano, something happened to his emotions, and Kyuken’s disappeared completely. How was that possible? He felt like himself all the time; when could he feel different than usual? Well, last time that he was affected by this “power”, he didn’t catch attention from anyone about his expression. However, Sorano might’ve been observing enough to notice it. “Hm… Kyuken, are you sure that you didn’t notice anything..?” he curiously asked his spirit fellow. The samurai would shake his head and reply: “No, not at all, master. I didn’t see anything strange about you, too…” That made the spirit mage speculate about all this. Why didn’t he spot anything strange himself? He couldn’t believe that Sorano was joking with him about this, so it must’ve been true…

She began naming examples of bad traits from being emotionless, scaling from indecisiveness to acting kindly. He didn’t know that it was that difficult to be emotionless; although, setting rules for herself, so that she could help others and be kind as well seemed fair. “Hm…” he mumbled. He couldn’t stop feeling compassionate with her, although she would most likely not care anyway. However, that thought stung in the chest a little. That she wouldn’t care at all… but that wasn’t her to blame. Besides, she already told him the fair reasons that she sealed away her emotions. Despite how confused it felt for him, it was her own choice; and it had its advantages, honestly. Although, setting rules for herself… in order to act kind to other people sounded contradictory with the fact that she was emotionless. In the end, Mura couldn’t understand it.

She appeared to be quite curious about his last statement, as her head tilted slowly. What was wrong with what he said, though? He got the answer right away; she didn’t seem to care about saying it. She… doesn’t care, Mura began to think. He moved his eyes down towards the floor for a moment, taking in the kind of harsh statement from her. Although, when Hoshi scolded her, Mura realized something. Lifting his face up again, he spoke to the cat: “She’s not rude… she’s being honest. She doesn’t care.” A calm expression took over him again, as he sat down at the seat, “… I might not understand it. Somehow, it doesn’t bother me at all… not at all.” Despite that she just declared her “care” for the guild, he didn’t bother… it was surely strange for him to roll with it just like that. Even Kyuken, who soared besides him, popped question marks above his head when hearing Mura’s words.

“If it keeps you from hurting others, then I don’t bother your feelings… I mean, what you think,” he continued. It appeared that he had a reason to not bother at all; he was slowly realizing all this. That’s why he didn’t bother her honest meanings before. A smile rose on his face again, a wry one. “Man… this feels so weird,” he spoke up in confusion, “I feel like I’ve been stamped by an elephant or something…” It was quite amazing for him to speak out the words before, although no obstacles appeared before him…

    Sorano Granon
Sorano nodded. "From my mother's side of the family, I've inherited the ability to read people's emotions, and yours were definitely not normal. You sort of had a kind of...how do I say, cold anger inside. Do you know what that black aura might be? I've seen something somewhat similar before, but it's not write the same," she said in response, thinking. Could it be an inherited trait, like how she could transfer her consciousness into an aural form? She wondered if she should search Mura's aura for his species', perhaps he had some blood from something that could have caused it? She didn't know. However, she was most surprised that Mura and Kyuken didn't notice a thing at all. What sort of ability could do that, she wondered?

She watched as Mura's aura would flash a slight shade of hurt, probably from her comment. It was something she'd seen many times before, with her blunt, straightforward comments usually provoking it. She was bad at putting people at ease, unless using her power of speech, so she wouldn't know how to break things to someone gently. It almost hurt for her to think that some people wouldn't consider her a good legal mage at times, as her becoming a legal mage was mostly for redemption. With the support of Anna, she had decided to join a fairly welcoming guild in Magnolia, known as Fairy Tail. Apparently they wouldn't mind her past too much, and should accept her. Still with the goal of redeeming herself, she was trying to do as much good as possible.

It was with her last comment, though, that she saw a stronger pulse of hurt run through her guild mate's aura. Looking away awkwardly, Sorano nodded to show Hoshi she had heard her rebuke. Mura accepted it fairly quickly, and Sorano was reminded of that white-haired mage who, now that she thought about it, was somewhat similar to Mura. Hurt and disbelief had also filled his aura, asking her if she'd been manipulating him all along. Why was it, that her telling the truth seemed to always result in people feeling hurt? She sighed softly, turning back towards Mura and Kyuken.

"I...apologize for being so blunt, perhaps I should have rephrased it?"
she asked slowly, as if picking her words carefully. "However...simply telling the truth results in fewer problems in the future so I prefer things that way. And, yeah...people are often surprised once they come to the conclusion I don't care about them. Many have tried to even get me to feel emotions again. Fairy Tail really is an accepting guild, huh..."

Because we didn't read the "No Return" part of the deal(Job/Mura) - Page 2 Empty Re: Because we didn't read the "No Return" part of the deal(Job/Mura)

Post by Mura Kensho 14th May 2016, 1:21 am

It was getting even more mysterious, as Sorano spoke. She could read his emotions, due to a kind of heritage from her parents; that’s why she could sense his as well. She told that Mura’s earlier expression was… like cold anger. Something dark and dismal. “Yeah… I think that I know what the aura was,” he replied to her question. It was pretty obvious; the same dark aura that encountered him at Midi had returned. “… It appeared as well, when I was in Midi. As far as I know, they called me “blessed by Pluto”. I don’t know anything about this Pluto guy, though, but the aura might originate from that person…” He took another look at his palm, staring into his own, troubled soul. He had no idea of what Pluto really was; ignorant that this Pluto was, in fact, something way more ethereal than he thought…

He took a deep breath, as Sorano excused herself for being so blunt towards him. Although, he did tell her that he didn’t bother at all; or at least not that much. “You… you don’t need to apologize,” he responded to her, “It was your honest fee… thoughts, right?” He didn’t want to cause any problems between him and Sorano, just because of an honest statement. As she named later, it would cause less problems in the future than if lying, and she was right about that. How many times had he seen people about to perish in a pool of lies? It appeared that other people had been told this statement from her, and not taken it very lightly. Well, it’s not like that she could help it… she was emotionless, after all.

“Yeah, that’s true,” he replied to her opinion about Fairy Tail being “an accepting guild”. He could clearly agree; back then, when he joined the guild himself, he felt home instantly. It’s like that this guild was even more precious to him than his roots back at Midi. “It’s okay whether you care or not… but I can’t stop caring about you,” he continued. In the end, she was a guild mate; his guild mate. It would never cross his mind to abandon a guild mate, whether if they cared the least about him or not. He didn’t care about that. Slowly, he moved his thumb towards the Guild Crest on the left side of his forehead. “That’s just the way I feel, and I’m fine with this.”

    Sorano Granon
"Blessed by Pluto..." Sorano mentally searched through the millions of books she had read, searching for what the name was. As a memory finally clicked of some book about gods, Sorano lifted her head. "Pluto...some sort of underworld god I believe. That could explain the shadows. Perhaps you do have some sort of ability originating from a god after all. That would explain the cold anger after all. Pluto wasn't all that happy a god from what I've heard." Once more, Mura's aura was growing troubled, worried. Yet another emotions she saw more than she wished to sometimes. Closing her eyes, she leaned back, thinking.

In response to Mura's slight question, she nodded slightly. In the past, she still had memories of the time she's stolen some other girl's bracelet in elementary school and hid it up in a tree, then came back to realize a crow had taken it. Of course, she lied, saying it wasn't her. Another girl had taken the blame, and was suspended for many days. She had been one of Sorano's few friends at the time, and when she came back, she would be laughed at and jeered at by the other girls, and Sorano, afraid to lose her social status would turn the other way, leaving her with barely any friends throughout the rest of the year.

Sorano tilted her head at Mura's caring statement, realizing how so few people had actually said that to her before. Hana, Gamon, Julius were all rowdy and kind to her, but they showed their care through actions and little jokes instead of being straightforward. It was the same with Apollo, Heero, and all those other people. Hoshi was usually much too shy to say intimate or kindly things, while Anna was a chaotic, rather tsundere-like character who had never said so either. With a start, Sorano realized that only Sebastian had come even close to telling her he cared about her, but that had been in a rather clumsy love confession of sorts instead of in such a family-like way. Unsure of how to reply, she would just stare awkwardly at Mura for a while, then slowly touched the spot on her arm where her guild mark was, underneath her sleeve.

"I suppose... I'm very fortunate to have so many people who are kind to me when I can't return it," she said in barely a whisper. She had felt special like this, a very long time ago when someone had said similar words to her, the soft, familiar hand of her mother gently touching hers. Without realizing it, one small tear dropped from her cheek, and she looked at it in surprise. Even without emotions, the instinctive reaction in this situation was unusual, and Sorano hadn't felt the oddness of this in years.

Post by Mura Kensho 16th May 2016, 3:33 am

A god? Did Mura just hear that the sinister aura residing within him, the same aura that’d showed up multiple times in the past, not to mention today as well, originated from a god? So that was why the guy back then referred him as “blessed” by Pluto; blessed by a god, it meant. Although, this plutonian god appeared not to be any goody-two-shoes, according to Sorano. Huh… so some god of the underworld has blessed me, he thought for himself, sighing out letdown, I feel cursed, rather than blessed… What’s a bless supposed to be, if I don’t have full control over it. There was once a time at Midi, where he could control his powers a little; at least enough to realize what was going on around him. However, it was quite a while ago; did he rust in control of it?

Something seemed odd with Sorano. Apparently, she seemed quite affected by his last words; looking at him with an awkward look, Mura felt a little embarrassed himself and scratched his hair. “Oh, sorry if I sounded a little weird or anything, it’s just…” he spoke back in anxiousness, before spotting her reply. She wasn’t embarrassed or anything; simply a bit grateful to have such caring people around her. He smiled a little at that statement, although she appeared to be a little anxious; enough to not say it out louder than this. He barely heard the words, but could easily understand it. Meanwhile, Kyuken soared up again. “That’s right..!” he stated with a quick nod, “As a samurai, and Mura-dono’s servant, I’ll care about you as well. Although that I don’t have the crest… it doesn’t matter in the end.” Sparkles appeared around him, as he found his statement golden. Mura was quite concerned about that, but smiled in agreement.

Suddenly, he spotted a tear dropping down from her cheek. It was faint, but he sensed something in her at the very moment; it was like a twitch in her soul. It wasn’t due to sadness, but still… something must’ve touched her, if that’s even the right word to use in this situation. “Sorano…” Mura slowly spoke to her, “…” He got a little stuck in his words, not knowing what to reply to this moment. She was emotionless, and could yet still pour a tear? Well, before it concerned him too much, he decided to wait it out; maybe there was another reason behind the expression. Although, he lifted up a hand towards her, in concern for her action right there. The sounds of crossed trails could be heard from outside of the train, leaves soared around the window as they continued to travel through the lands…

    Sorano Granon
"You just have to train to gain control over it, figure out what effects it has, what it's caused by, et cetera," Sorano suggested. She hadn't gained control of her own passed down abilities the same way, though. She hadn't really gotten in control of her aural form until recently, really. Back then, as her aura was made up of emotion, it basically moved with the first thought her emotions sent out, resulting in the reason she was now emotionless. However, Mura's didn't seem much too hard to control. She'd seen worse "blessings" than that of Pluto's.

Sorano looked towards Kyuken almost uncomprehendingly as he voiced his opinions as well. She would look down again, seeing a purring Hoshi. "Sorano-chan, you really did make the right choice coming to Magnolia!" the exceed smiled up at the letter mage, swishing her tail. "And just to join in, I really care about you, too! Don't you dare ever beat yourself up about what happened then, I promise I'll still stay by your side!" For a moment, Hoshi seemed almost her original self again, proud leader of her litter, the kit with the highest magic potential and one who everyone looked up to because of her confidence.

Sorano simply sat there, staring at that one drop of water on her hand. She seems almost curious about it, peering at it from every angle like a toddler might a ladybug. Then, realizing that the silence might be awkward to the others, she frowned at it, and shook it away, the one rare drop disappearing into the fabric of the seat cushion. It had been an unexpected event, one Sorano had wondered was possible. "Perhaps a result of being in a particular situation that unconsciously brought a memory which prompted the shedding of tears," she mumbled, almost as if to reassure herself.

It appeared that Sorano believed in her words, when she told him that he could master this weird phenomenon. Could he really do that? He found it difficult, but possible due to hearing it from such a truthful voice like hers. He moved his glance at Kyuken, continuing: “What about you? As far as I’ve noticed, you’re affected too…” The spirit samurai would shrug his head. “No way; I’m a legend. I wouldn’t go down that easily, even if it’s a god’s doing…” That statement caused a sweat drop to trickle down Mura’s face, as he was quite sure that the samurai was affected too. Both at Midi and here…

Now, the words which came out of the cat pleased Mura as well. The fact that most seemingly her nearest companion was with her, staying by her side, showed a scent of loyalty and great friendship. Hoshi knew about Sorano’s condition too, and yet was with her; just like Mura. “It seems that you’ve got a lot of friends, despite your conditions…” he spoke to her with a smile, “I guess that you need no feelings to have friends, after all… hehe.” Honestly, he felt a little weird by the last words, but he wouldn’t bother thinking about it. Although, what she said afterwards was unusual; she’d commented the one tear at her hand to be the result of remembering something. “… Remembering what?” His curiosity took over for a second, prompting him to ask. However, it might “strain” her the way that it did with the tear now, if he asked her to explain.

His thoughts were interrupted by the sudden scream of grinding steel. The train slowed down its speed, only to stop right next to a train station. It wasn’t the one at Magnolia; it appeared to be near Oak Town, due to the sign out there, saying “Oak Town > 60 Miles”. It seemed that they had yet to reach their destination. “So…” Mura slowly spoke up, trying to keep the conversation going. The awkward atmosphere was about to settle above them, and he struggled to keep it away. “I guess that I should tell you something about myself… just so you can have a bigger perspective of your guild mate.” He leaned back a little, letting Harusame slide down a little. “I guess… to kill time, you know.”

    Sorano Granon
Both the letter mage and exceed would turn at Kyuken's comment, disbelieving looks on their faces. Sorano had obviously seen the change in aura and she raised a skeptical eyebrow in response, while Hoshi just drooped and sighed. "K-kyuken-san, e-even I could tell something was wrong with you," Hoshi stuttered, twisting a striped tail around with her paws. It seemed as if Mura felt the same way. So apparently the samurai spirit didnt have a shortage of ego.

Sorano would awkwardly fiddle with her fingers, feeling as if unnecessary attention was being focused on her. She would nod along slowly a fee times, even though she was a bit confused about things at the moment. Taking in a deep breath, she would enter a brief meditative state in which she would sort herself out again, give herself a quick mental check-in before opening her eyes again. Catching Mura's question, she would look away in a movement that almost seemed uncomfortable, and said "My mother." She would abruptly cut off there, feeling that if she talked about her family more, tears would fall again. Memories of when she had emotions were trickling in a little more now, and she seemed to be able to predict what situations would make her react in what way.

As the train screeched to a stop, Sorano glanced over as a sign signaling there arrival in Oak Town popped up. Listening to what he said, she nodded slowly. "I suppose... There's no need to share anything private, though, so please don't feel pressured by my talking," she said politely before he would begin. "Mm, sorry, I am not particularly good at asking questions... maybe little things like where your origin is? Your appearance reminds me slightly of Midi."

”See?” Mura quickly replied to his samurai buddy, who shrugged in embarrassment, “… It’s not awkward at all, you know…” The samurai would turn his impaling eyes at Mura, expressing seriousness to what seemed irrelevant. “That couldn’t be… did my mind sway away? More than a second? No way…” He had pure disbelief in what they said; although, it might be due to his pride as a warrior that he couldn’t take the truth. “Kyuken… we’re talking about a god. I’m pretty sure that you’re nothing compared to that,” Mura spoke to him. It caused a shatter in the spirit’s mind; his thoughts were repeating the same quote over and over “you’re nothing compared to that, you’re nothing compared to that…” He looked like one who was losing his mind and could rage in any second…

Meanwhile, Sorano appeared to answer that who she remembered was, in fact, her mum. Now, Mura hadn’t heard about her mum, also why it triggered such… whatever he could call it, other than a feeling. Maybe a reaction? Yeah, anyways; maybe it was due to loss of her? In that case, Mura could refer to himself, as he hadn’t seen his own mum as well for ages. Well… he never wanted to think about it. It was difficult to him. The nostalgic feeling appeared as a twitch on his face, as he let his hands slide over it and calm down again. “…” Of course, Kyuken noticed the sudden, discreet expression of his; it only befitted for a samurai to spot something like that. However, he didn’t ask him about it; rather, he kept it for himself, as the samurai knew about it as well…

“… That’s right,” he slowly replied to Sorano, who asked him about his origin; she named Midi as it resembled him, “I’m from Midi. The rest of my family live there.” He moved an elbow up to the windowsill, slowly moving his head towards the outside. “I didn’t really know anything back then… about magic, about mages, or even about Fiore. I was quite isolated, for myself and my family,” he continued, “Well, I remember the first day that I travelled to this country. It might’ve been the turn of my life. I never thought that I would become something like them someday; a mage… hehe.” He began laughing a little, shoving the small, sad feeling away. “Back then, they seemed to hate mages and their arts… now, they see me as their family’s pride itself. It’s really weird.” “… !” Kyuken suddenly triggered himself out of the repeating thoughts in his head, moving his gaze at Mura, “Well, I say that they’re right. You’re no ordinary samurai, master… I wish that I could learn magic as well.” He appeared to agree a lot; Kyuken saw Mura as way more than “his master”. He saw the light from him, and that’s thanks to years being together with him, following him and spectating his every action until now. “… Do you come from Midi, too?” Mura suddenly asked back. Now that she’d named that he reminded her of Midi, she might’ve been there before. Maybe she origins from that land as well.

    Sorano Granon
Sorano and Hoshi stared at the samurai spirit, expectant looks on their faces as he seemed to have suddenly froze. Sorano sighed after just one look at his emotions, then glanced at Mura. "Will he be alright?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. Hoshi gasped in horror, digging her claws into the seat beneath her. "Ahhhhhh, he's gonna die he's gonna die!" she whimpered, forgetting the extremely crucial fact that Kyuken was already dead. Sorano scratched Hoshi behind the ears and sighed. "So dramatic..."

Sorano would suddenly sense a rather melancholic feeling drape over Mura, and looked up, slightly curious. He seemed to have been impacted by what she had said briefly, her mother. The samurai spirit had seemed to suddenly feel a small burst of concern from what she saw, and she wondered if Mura was okay. However, his aura returned to normal fairly quickly, with only the barest tinge if whatever sad emotions it might have held before. However, seeing as neither of them said anything, she decided it would be best to keep silent for now.

Listening to Mura's explanation, she nodded. That would explain his slight Midi accent. She listened carefully through his short story about his becoming a mage had changed his parent's views on mages overall. Then, afterwards, as she nodded to show she understood, she tilted her head at his question. "Mm, yes, actually, my parents were environmental researchers from Midi who immigrated to Fiore to study the trees that live in the Phoenix Mountains. My father was a green mage, which fit his work perfectly while my mother had spirit warrior abilities like I do. I didn't develop my magic...until after they'd died," she said, ending shortly.

“Huh? So you’re from Midi too? That’s neat…” Mura replied. Her parents appeared to be from Midi, after all; just immigrates, who’d moved to Fiore. Somehow, it caused a slight letdown to appear on him. If his family were all immigrates, just like him… “… So, you have some inherited magic from them… cool,” he commented. It appeared that her parents, unlike his, were mages as well; they might’ve learned her one thing or two about it. “That’s pretty lucky, to be honest. None from my family barely knows about magic; they're all pure-blooded samurais. You might've heard about the swordsmen from Midi? Yeah, I had to learn my magic all by myself… they couldn’t help in any way,” he let out. He began thinking a bit about how it would be, if his family were all born mages; the entire code of the Kensho’s would be different. From uprising samurais to auric wizards… it caused some weird thoughts to appear on his mind.

Although, she ended by telling that she only developed magic after her parents died. It appeared surprising for him; but why would a spirit mage, who encountered death everywhere, be the least shocked? “… That’s pretty sad, to be honest,” he replied to her, his voice being a little calmer than before. Apparently, it felt awkward; after listening to her during the travel, he couldn’t help but have very wrong feeling. He let out a sigh and decided to show make himself appear at least a little compassionate. “I’m not sure about you… but I feel a little sad when thinking about it. But that might just be my problem only… ehm…” He moved his face to both sides a couple times, showing jitteriness. “My mum… died as well a couple years ago. But…” He suddenly, but slowly, laid a hand on his chest, feeling his own heart beat, “Whenever I think of her… she seems close to me. Even though that I know the truth… she’s still with me.” He slowly moved up his eyes at Sorano, a calm and smiling face looking at her. “Hehe… I might see her spirit again, sometime… if I ever find it.”

"... Oh, sorry if I slipped away a little, I didn’t mean to…” he excused, while scratching his hair. Thinking about his mum could make him wonder for ages, at least until Kyuken would warn him to pay attention to the roads. The samurai still paid attention to his master and said: “Don’t be like that, master. You’re not the one to sadden yourself. It only hurts your heart and those around you…” The young spirit mage would look up at his partner, then smile a little more again. He needed to be strong when it came to things like this; plus, he was utilizing dead people for his spell, so death shouldn’t affect him that much… or should it?

    Sorano Granon
She nodded at Mura's sentence about the Midi samurais, though she shook her head just the slightest bit at how he thought her parents really helped her with magic. "Mm, my parents had very minimal magic abilities and were more focused on training me and my brothers in understanding of nature and our school studies. They never had any intention of us becoming mages. However, your parents were samurais...huh. I suppose that would explain your excellent fighting skills. It's physically where I'm lacking the most, so I try to learn to use more lightweight weapons." She flipped a throwing knife into the air, catching it expertly on the rounded handle, an obvious show of hours of practice. If she had been raised by samurais... Her entire life would probably be completely different. Samurais were warriors, while her parents had been gentle and always preferring peaceful solutions, only ever getting riled up about environmental issues.

The letter mage released a small puff of air as a tinge of the familiar pity she saw in so many people glowed on the edges of Mura's aura. It was annoying, how they would show little emotion towards an adult saying that and a kid like her saying things like that. It was a violent, competitive world out there, and orphans weren't too uncommon, after all. Listening to Mura's own little experience with losing a parent, she nodded slightly. Things might be easier for him as he could see spirits, after all. Sorano could see forms of energy and emotion, but had no way of interacting with them. Still, she never really could understand how people always said that a deceased one was still with them. Having grown up in an atheist family who believed that all you were left with were memories, it was an odd concept for her to grapple with.

Listening to the brief exchange between Kyuken and Mura, she waved her hand quickly, saying, "Ah, I don't mind at all, it's rather interesting to see how different peoples' minds work." However, the samurai's words made her pause for a bit, thinking. Was brushing away memories really such a good idea? Without emotions, remembering these memories of her family would allow her to realize new things, make connections, and overall be a more efficient learner. She had no idea what it could be like for someone with emotions, but she wondered if it had benefits as well. "Hmm, actually, I believe that reminiscing sad memories could actually be beneficial. It allows someone to gradually be at peace with what happened then, and if done slowly, and carefully, can keep someone's emotions from overwhelming them. If they keep pushing their sadness away, it will only get worse when it all comes back at once."

Post by Mura Kensho 22nd May 2016, 10:08 am

“Well… we all have our strengths and weaknesses, right?” Mura replied, while grinning a little. It appeared that Sorano, despite seeing her as some energetic girl – which in this case didn’t mean totally crazy and all – didn’t see physical strength as her strong side. Maybe she was right, but Mura didn’t think so, judging by her actions at the tower. “Yeah, as I told before, I didn’t really know anything about magic… but they surely learned me everything about swords,” he continued to tell, “And they told me everything that they knew… about legends of the family, and even about Kyuken here.” He would point his thumb at the spirit ball, who would begin to blush a little. “He’s actually some legend among them… right, Musashi?” This time, Mura addressed Kyuken by his real name; Musashi, the ancestor of the Musashi family. Maybe Sorano had heard of them, but that didn’t appear that possible, due to the intense isolation that both his family and the Musashi’s had thrown themselves into. “Hehe, I’m flattered, master…” Kyuken replied while looking away in a slight of embarrassment, “… Hey, why’d you call me that name?!” He would instantly change mood, from the flattered expression to a completely angered, regretting face. Even Mura was quite shocked by the atmosphere that erupted from Kyuken. “Haven’t I told you, already?! I’m not Musashi!” Kyuken shouted at him, as if he’d done a crime against some samurai code or something. However, Mura would calm down a little, as time passed.

He knew the reason behind Kyuken’s anger. About why he didn’t like to be called Musashi, which is his real name. It would take him many years back, to the time where he’d just defeated his first, evil spirit with Kyuken. He’d asked him about his origins, and Kyuken would’ve told him all about how he lived and how he died, ending by Mura making a promise; that he would help Kyuken atone for his “sin” as he called it. The sin that he made when he was alive… that’s why he didn’t like being called Musashi, as it reminded him of that sin.

“… Don’t worry, Kyuken,” Mura replied to the samurai’s hysterics, “You’ll atone, someday.” It appeared to calm the samurai a little, those words. Mura was quite good at calming people down a little. He would slowly realize that Sorano might’ve gotten curious about what he just said. Whether it was the case or not, he would turn his head around and switch his focus to her again. She appeared to advise him not to forget the memories of his dear mum, as it might’ve been beneficial for him. He could be at peace with the fact that she was gone, and move on with his life, despite thinking about it day and night. Honestly, it sounded realistic, but Mura didn’t know how to move on. He lost his mother at a young age, plus he was dealing with death almost all the time; yet, the thoughts and pain of loss of his dear mother were harsh to endure. He would turn his face at the ground, taking time to think about her advise. “I… I know that she’s gone and all…” he slowly spoke up to her, “But maybe… it’s just because that I wanted to know her better. She left us a long time ago, and… I didn’t even get to know her.” He would clench his fists a little, while they rested on his knees. “She’s right,” Kyuken returned and spoke to the disheartening mage, “… Although that it hurts to tell about, I endured death a thousand times. I was a warrior once, you know…” He would lay his auric hand at Mura’s shoulder, surprisingly being able to make physical contact with him, as he would pat it, “You have to endure it. That’s the only way to move on.”

    Sorano Granon
Sorano nodded, realizing that Mura's family must be a good one, supportive and caring. "You sound as if your family is something very important to you, huh?" she asked. Family, friends. Was there one that was more important? Was there really all that much of a difference in the end? She supposed that this was why Fairy Tail considered themselves a family, teaching each other and supporting each other the way a family did. Then, before she could bring that up, she tilted her head at the way Mura suddenly referred to Kyuken differently. Musashi, huh? Trying to see if she could remember that name from anywhere, but was soon stopped by a flurry of anger exploding from the spirit's aura.

Her eyes would snap into focus, staring curiously at the warrior. What could have provoked such a reaction? As the last statement exploded from the samurai's mouth, with him stating that he wasn't Musashi, Sorano would calmly observe the emotions swirling around the auras of the two. How Kyuken's had anger, sadness, and was that perhaps some guilt? inside of it, and Mura's showed confusion at first, spinning into understanding. Did Kyuken, perhaps, have something he ran from in the past? Her interest piqued, the letter mage wondered whether it would be right for her to ask about it. From their expressions and flickering auras, she could tell that this was a sensitive topic and made the decision to leave it be for now. Calmly pretending not to have heard a thing, the letter mage would clap her hands together once, briefly, as if to end the exchange.

As Mura calmed the samurai down again, Sorano noted the word atone used. A sharp reminder of her own mission, to atone for past sins. Even if she had had little to no control in what had happened back then, the memories were still fairly fresh and she had felt guilty, those nights spent crying in Anna's cabin. She would then snap back to attention as Mura responded to her opinion in reminiscing. So, he wished he had known his mother for longer, huh? However, she also knew that it would hurt more the more he had known about her, and the harder it would have been to re-adjust.

"I'll apologize in advance, as I know what I am about to say may be, well, sensitive and a little rude," she started, pausing to consider how to continue. "But, the fact that your mother died before you got to know her too well only means that you received less pain at her passing. The more you love someone, the more you get to know someone, the more it hurts when they leave you. It's something that's Fairy Tail's strength, and weakness as well." She would nod calmly at Kyuken's point as well, glad to see the samurai had calmed down.

(OOC: FORGIVE ME FOR THE PAUSE, I WAS CAUGHT UP ON SOMETHING! I SWEAR, IT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN, SHOW MERCY  :deathbytoilet:  :deathbytoilet:  :deathbytoilet: )

”Yeah, they… they’re precious to me,” Mura replied, ”Although that I feel a little different from them, due to being a mage…” How long ago was it that he became a mage, now? Maybe a couple years ago? He couldn’t quite remember it. Plus, the way that he felt about his guild was getting closer and closer to the way that he felt about his relatives; like a real family. Maybe it was wrong of him, but he couldn’t really help it.

He got a little surprised by Sorano’s statement about his mum; that he would’ve most likely received more pain if he was more familiar with her. It made sense, somehow. If he had a closer bond to her, a bond built through more time spending with her, then it would logically cause him more pain to face the fact that she was gone. She was gone and wouldn’t return, as well as his supposedly experiences with her, if he had any. The more he loved someone, the more it would hurt to see them leave… is that a weakness or a strength? Even Sorano appeared to name it both things, although… how should he apprehend it? He moved his gaze to the light floor beneath their feet, calmly reflecting over it all; about his mother, about what Sorano had told him, soon to find a solution to his troubled heart…

A push caused him to move forward with high speed, as the train suddenly brake its wheels. His forehead bonked into the chair on the other side, where Sorano sat. His face would slowly slide down on it, landing on the floor beneath them. Kyuken’s eyes were wide-open, fixed at the young mage’s accident. “… Ouuch,” came out of him, while he moved his face up, “What happened..?” His eyes would travel across the room, soon resting on another sign outside the window, saying “Capital Crocus > 5 miles”. “Man… when is this train going to reach Magnolia..?” Mura mumbled for himself. It appeared to annoy him a little, the fact that the train took so long reaching their destination; however, he enjoyed the ride quite well, due to his conversation with his guild mate. It wasn’t all that bad at all.

“By the way… what you said before,” he started speaking to Sorano, “It sounds right… I haven’t thought about it. That it could be a weakness as well…” It was most likely another factor of her ‘condition’; to not feel grief when losing someone near you. However, for a guy with apparent feelings, it felt quite hardcore. He let his head rest on his left hand, while still laying on the ground without paying attention to that. Kyuken’s eyes would still drill towards the weird guy that lied on the floor, while others would discreetly fix their own eyes at him. Still not paying attention, he would look across the hall, while waiting for the train to start again…

    Sorano Granon
OOC: O-O That is one of the weirdest emojis I have ever seen, and yeah, s'alright, tbh I'm starting to lose muse for this thread anyways. Again, sorry for the crap post, I BLAME MAH MUSE DX))

Sorano would sit there in silence with everyone else, feeling the rocking of the train beneath her. Not in the mood to absence anyone's aura, she tilted her head to look out the window, watching as trees and houses flashed by. An image of piles and piles of complaints to go through flashed through her head, and she hoped that Rose wasn't off with Heero again today. All that paper, requiring a million guildmaster stamps and swirled signatures, read over, notes for meetings taped on the fronts and such... Trust me, secretary of Fairy Tail was not a fun job when Heero Reyolds was the guildmaster. He was disorganized, could barely read to save his life, and had the handwriting of a two-year old. Rose's intellectual skills were not to be messed with, and her handwriting beautiful. She was an excellent choice for one of the secretaries, but Sorano's speed reading and writing skills were a huge asset.

Closing her eyes, the letter mage considered taking a short nap to prepare her self for the paper pandemonium that would occur once she returned, when the train lurched to a stop. "Ay-ya!" she hissed in surprise as she was slammed backwards while Mura was slammed forwards. Blinking in surprise, she shrugged, then looked out at the station sign. Apparently they were fairly close to Crocus now. She sighed, glancing down at her watch. They should be nearing Magnolia soon, right?

She turned to face her guildmates once she heard Mura's voice, listening to his comment. She would nod quietly at his response, not sure what else she could possibly say. She knew it was hard. She still had memories of that brief stage back then at her family's deaths, and it wasn't pretty. Of course, how could Mura possibly know that grief had been one of the key factors that had made her into the person she was now? If she hadn't gone insane with grief and a thirst for revenge with the murderer, she might be in an orphanage right now, in school learning normal school things instead of fighting random mages and creatures. The hum of the train soon started up again, and they were speeding through the countryside, watching as the buildings grew more and more quaint, with more and more magic signatures lingering about.
