Description:
Ring Magic is potentially one of the most versatile forms of magic in the world. Hundreds of thousands of rings imbued with elements/powers/magical abilities hide within the world. This versatile magic allows for the user to combine and utilize powerful magics in unique ways. Whether it be utilizing multiple elements or harbouring powerful sleep inducing spells, to rings that allow you to summon forth powerful creatures or manipulate the earth. The rings themselves arent just catalysts to release the magic, they allow for the magic to be manipulated. Requiring a mages magic to be activated it becomes a somewhat symbiotic relationship between the items and the magic.

Due to the power of these rings, certain rings can only be utilized once a mage reaches a certain letter rank. Though most of these are self explanatory certain rings like the Ring of Bastet are more powerful and will be explained in full upon reaching the letter grade.
Strengths:
- Rings allow for multiple different elements
- Rings can be utilized for summonings
- Ring magics can be harnessed and combined for different effects.
Weaknesses:
- Rings must be worn on the fingers for their magic to be utilized.
- Only eight different rings can be equiped at one time.
- Elements used are weaker when facing a mage whom utilizes the element as a castor. [Water ring is 25% weaker when facing a mage who utilizes castor based water magic].
- The less fingers a mage has the less rings they can wear/utilize.
Lineage: Knight of Swords
Description: One of the Seven Knights of King Kuroryu, this Knight could summon an ethereal sword to his hand and use it to destroy anything in his way. This knight was said to be balanced in both offensive and defensive capabilities as he could destroy opponent's spells with his sword that he summoned. This knight was known to be the right hand man of King Kuroryu.
Ability: The user summons a sword for 5 posts allowing the user to use it as a weapon to fight with which also increases the speed of the user. The user can also slice spells apart with restrictions.
Usage: The user can activate the summon and use the sword for 4 posts, with a 100% increase in speed, and has a cooldown of 6 posts between uses. The sword gives boosts to the user’s melee attacks as if it were an artifact weapon. If the user wishes, he can use the sword to cut spells apart rendering them useless (up to user-rank). However, if he/she does cut a spell apart the duration of the spell will be lowered by 3 posts and if this exceeds the current duration time then the sword will disperse. Can only be used 2 times per thread.
Unique Abilities:
Interchangable: Rings seem to be able to change size to fit on any of the eight fingers.
Charge Mode: The user is able to "Supe charge" a ring, this means per post the user is able to enhance a spells power by 5% to a maximum of 50%. Now this means the user is unable to use that ring unless they wish to release the charged up power while at the same time due to channeling magic in to the ring all other ring spells take a 20% deduction in power. This can be used Twice per thread though each use needs a 5 post cooldown [the ring can be "Super Maxed" for story purposes in solo threads]
- Wind Burst:
Name: Wind Burst

Description: By channeling the ring of Wind, the user punches the hand which holds the ring upon it forth. From the ring a burst of wind is released, harmlessly flowing from the ring flowing through the air in 5 tendrils that all converge into one, the aim of this large tendril is not to snare, not to grab. But simply to connect. This then strikes a target with the spinning wind force knokcing them back up to 3 meters and doing a full d-rank worth of damage. The tendril is 12 inches long and spreads forth a total of 10 meters from the ring. The spell moves at 10m/s
Strengths:
Wind based magic
Large straight forward range
Quick.
Weaknesses:
Fire magic can turn this magic/can be enhanced with this magic.
The knockback effect can be disregarded if someone is able to plant themselves upon the ground with magic/gravity.
Straight forward movement allows for simple dodging.
Requires Ring of wind to be utilized, if ring is taken/removed spell becomes lost.
- Sand Eruption:
- Name: Sand Eruption

Type: Sand [Offence]

Description: Placing the hand which wears the Ring of Sand upon the ground, the user taps in to the rings power and literally transforms the ground around her in to a bursting wall of sand. The sand stands at a total of five meters and flows in a 5 meter diameter making this an AOE spell. Now as the user is the epicenter the ground below and inches around the user do not transform leaving the user on the only non transformed ground within the five meters. The large waves of sand move for 5 meters in all directions and burst at a speed of 10m/s. Due to the severity and amount of sand anyone caught within takes damage [75% rank damage] and is also knocked back up to 5 meters from the sand. They can easily be buried within the sand and begin suffocating though due to the flowing sand it is somewhat easier to break out.
Strengths:
Large AOE
Good speeds in which to ensnare an enemy
Great for large amount of foes.
Weaknesses:
Water based magic can cause the sand to clump and stop flowing.
Anyone whom can jump higher than 5m's can jump over the sand when just released.
The user is in the epicenter making them somewhat easier targets.
Flight based abilities can make this spell useless.
- Levitating Winds:
- Name: Levitating Winds

Description: Through the wind Ring, manipulation of the winds become plausable allowing the user to jump much higher, to move through the air as if they were flying [more like gliding at this rank]. allows them to drop from great heights or to accelerate up walls quicker. [Boosts movement speed when in use by 25% ] allows the user to effortlessly move through the sky. Allows the user to jump 15 meters higher than they could before.
Strengths:
Allows psudo Flight
Enhances movement speed
The user is no longer a target in the air.
Weaknesses:
No offence capability
No defence capability
Other wind users can knock the mage of course
Without the ring of Wind this spell becomes unusable.
- Sand shell:
- Name: Sand Shell
Rank: D
Type: Sand Defense
Duration:2 posts
Cooldown: 3 posts
Description: Via use of the Sand Ring, the user summons forth a large amount of sand that then forms a 5 meter diameter sphere around her blocking all attacks. This blocks atleast three D-rank spells or a single C-rank spell, It forms at a speed of 15m/s.
Strengths:
Strong Defence.
Able to defend atleast two more people.
size can be manipulated to be used in smaller spaces.
Weaknesses:
Water based magic can defeat the spell if able to consume the majority of the spell.
No offensive capability
No supplementary capability
requires the sand ring to be utilized. If no sand ring is upon her finger this spell is locked and can't be used.
