Brand Mark:

Personality: Cold and distant at best to anyone besides his twin sister, he carries a deep set loathing for humanity and the world at large. Always the unrelenting pessimist, Eratheros doesn't believe that any good can come of any situation that involves other people and actively seeks to avoid everyone at all costs. This is due to his childhood and the time he spent after he escaped from his enslavement and almost lost his life in the process of saving his sister's. He is always reluctant to put himself in danger, and attempts to avoid situations he can't handle on his own, as he hates to rely on others. Occasionally he'll observe an event or see an object that relates to his childhood, which will either send him into an uncontrollable frenzy or reduce him to a babbling wreck for a short duration. These seem to have a random chance of happening, with the exception of guns, which always send him into a frenzy. If you value your life, you won't point a gun at him. While in either of these states, nobody can calm him down or reason with him. This is an entirely different with his twin sister however, who he seems to have a caring relationship. The only person he shows his emotions to is her, and they seem to be able to share thoughts while in close proximity, which is the only way he can communicate to another person with the exception of a game of charades (of which he is surprisingly fond of).

In a battle, he loses all hatred for the duration of the fight and devotes himself solely to aiding in the downfall of his current foe or foes. He seems to lose all emotion and keep a calm, level head no matter how dire the situation is. The only exception to this is if he experiences an episode or if something happens to his sister. Very rarely this will happen, but when it does he becomes useless or even dangerous to the rest of his team, either becoming unresponsive and comatose or going berserk. Almost any orders he receives in a skirmish, he obeys; however this behavior is not exhibited outside of combat. In a normal situation he actively ignores all commands given to him unless absolutely essential, to which he grudgingly abides, growling the whole time (one of the only sounds he can make). Additionally, he does not generally do well in a commanding position either. More often than not, he gets frustrated with his inability to speak, therefore being unable to give commands. Thus he prefers to go off on his own in his free time, not enjoying the company of anyone but his twin, or failing that, various animals he happens to come across (the majority of which seem to be cats). There are a few times that he can effectively lead, using his sister as a vocal conduit to give orders and observations. He rarely facilitates this though, because he feels as if he is only treating his precious twin as a tool.

• Sharp objects ~ Era is fascinated by the concept that something that tapers down to such a small edge can cause so much damage to softer materials.
  

• Overcast skies ~ It creates a certain twilight that he enjoys, even in the midst of the day.
  

• Rainstorms ~ The rain feels soothing, as if it's washing away his worries.
  

Dislikes:

• Relying on others ~ It makes him feel weak.
  

• Any processed food ~ If it doesn't occur in nature, he won't eat it.
  

• People watching him eat or seeing him without his mask ~ It's gruesome to say the least, seeing as how he's missing his lower jaw and tongue.
  

Motivations:

• His twin, Hana ~ He'll do anything to protect and look out for her.
  

• Vengeance ~ He seeks revenge against his former captors.
  

• Chocolate ~ If you give him chocolate he'll become your best friend (for a few seconds).

• Guns ~ They trigger mental breakdowns due to the event in which he lost his jaw and tongue.

I cannot approve the "can see residual heat traces in the air or on surfaces" as a special characteristics. This would work better as a Unique Ability in your magic. Please remove this
