- Job:
Such a fun job, they were rewarded well the last time they did this. Ardere and Elyx the champions of the King of Fighters tournament. And now they want to see a return of the both of them. He was willing to go, just as long as Ignite was going to stay behind. She loved to take the drivers seat, and it was not her they wanted to see. But to get to Infinity Hydra would take a lot of time, and to disturbed the Guild Master of their guild just for a matter like this would be pointless. Elyx was not a Guild Master, so he would have plenty of time on his hands. Or he could, not that he should since he was an Ace. But that has not stopped him yet, and with his new magic rather than his Lerale magic, he and his partner would breeze through the contest easily. Now all he needed was a partner to fight alongside with. Iza was not a high enough ranking mage to go on the job with, so it was easy to slash her out of the equation. Such a shame, he and his girlfriend dominating the tournament would have been a lot of fun. It was not a total loss though, maybe he would find a new friend, it was how he met Ardere after all. The tournament had plenty of good fighters, and maybe there would be a weak fighter that he could help earn some money for. Sure, the prize was not quite enough to buy anything more than a huge load of groceries, but it was nice to have that extra pocket change for things in the future. If you lived with someone as insanely expensive as Ignite, you would need it. So why not? He gladly took the request to go back to the tournament to show off his skills once again, and out of Black Rose he would go.
He could just use Yuni to get to the Sphere Island now that he thought about it. Being in the other tournament gave him the memories of the island, so now he and the Celestial Spirit could just teleport over there. So that was what he would do, with a smile on his face, he would reach into his right pocket so that he would pull out the pouch for the Spirits. No, that one is Aludra, that one is Phoena, that one is Aiyana -definitely don't need to summon her for this situation -, that one is Lindsey... Definitely NOT Virgo! Here it is! He announced to no one but himself, pulling out Yuni's key. Now he had reason to speak, so that he was able to chant the words needed to summon the spirit. I open the gate of the Chronicle Commander, Yuni! He chanted, slicing the key diagonally with a little light on the key. The sound of a doorbell would sound as the Spirit materialized in front of the boy. And there she was, the delicate little spirit was just as adorable as ever. And most certainly helpful. You called me, Elyx? She asked quietly. The poor young lady, she could use a class in confidence. Maybe he could summon her just to teach her not to be so shy, at least not with him, her summoner. But now was not the time, so instead, he was going to put that on his checklist of things to do. Which he never really gets to anyways.
Yes Yuni, I need you teleport me over to the Sphere Island. Think you could do that for me? He asked, a smile on his face so she would be a lot more comfortable. Her footsteps would pace towards him before her palm was placed on his head, so he closed his light brown eyes. Yuni was accessing his memories, making sure Sphere Island was in his mind so she knew where to teleport him and her towards. After a few seconds of searching, she found the island before nodding her head. Of course, Elyx. Keep your eyes closed. She ordered as the both of them began to dematerialize. His eyes were kept closed, he would rather not disobey the command of the Celestial Spirit. They all cared for their master as long as their master cared for them, so anything that Yuni says is just for his best health. After a minute of travelling through the Celestial Spirit world, the both of them would arrive at Sphere Island, where the tournament was heavily recognized. As a bonus, she brought the both of them to the entrance of the place, where they could sign up. But there was no one to sign up with, and he was not going to force her to do something like that. He opened his eyes, his smile being a grin as he then turned to Yuni. Thanks Yuni! I have bothered you long enough now, I'll let you go home now. He explained, Yuni nodded slightly, but happily. Nothing better she would like than for that to happen.
He touched her head with her own key, and she would then return back by dematerializing. Now he was alone, and everyone seemed to have a partner. They were a lot more prepared than last time. Even all of the animals were partnered up. Maybe he should look for some squirrel to fight alongside with. But not even they would help him willingly, and trying to wrestle a squirrel would not be the best idea, for both his health and his reputation. So he would have to do the next best thing, just simply wait and hope someone would come forgetting that they needed a partner. He would then offer to help them out before showing them his guild mark. That should be a pretty fair offer, right? A mage from Black Rose fighting for them without a cost? Well, the cost would be splitting the prize, but that was a given. Or... Should be at least.
