OF WOLVES AND TANUKIS ♦ job

The search for another job was inevitable, because in the end, everybody needed money, and Izayuki personally needed to find the cure for boredom. If she found that cure, she likely would never have to do another job again. After all, stealing or using leaves and turning them into money with an illusion always worked, but until she found that cure, jobs would have to do for now. Carefully scanning the job board, the Ace of Stigma searched for several moments before locking her focus on one job in particular.

The description read fairly easily, thus, the job could not be too hard. It was not like some of those jobs that required her to read it several times just to wrap her mind around it.
"Greetings, Mages of Black Rose. We have a request of sorts, and require a couple of Bounty Hunters to fulfill it. There has been a mysterious monster lurking on our island. He is feline in nature, and very strong and scary! He kills without mercy and hunts our villagers like prey, picking us off one by one. Our greatest warriors have failed; we have nobody else to turn to! Please kill or capture this terrible monster!"

Simple! Find a tough-natured monster and either stab or freeze it to death, or freeze it almost to death and remove it from the island! As she glanced at the rank of job, however, Izayuki gave a small sigh. It was A-rank, just one above her. While she had perfect confidence in her abilities to take it on, it was often still encouraged that at least one other mage her rank or above move along with her. Elyx, her teammate and usual partner, was away at who-knows-where, probably taking on some lengthy job to get away from the guild. It was not uncommon with him. As for other mages her rank, they were mostly only Aces. She did not know where Magna was, and she had second thoughts about talking to Irina. Thus, there was only one option left, and honestly, why had it not been made her first option?

Her very first job with the guild had been alongside this member and Lexa, and the guildmaster always seemed a bright sort of creature. Folding up the job flier and putting it in her pocket, Izayuki made her way towards Kakuma's Office, knowing that the wolf-like girl spent most of her time there. Seeing as knocking was still a bit of a foreign concept to the tanuki, she simply kicked open the door, as she would have any other Ace's office, and as she had done with Elyx's door many times. "Kakuma! I found a job on the board, and you're goin' with me! Ya can't say no, either," Izayuki said stubbornly, as per usual with her. One did not simply deny Iza, after all, even if they might be stronger than her. She had her ways, after all. Yes, she had many ways.
