Mashyuu and Kanix: The One Piece!

The monster attacked, charging through the forest while Mashyuu lowered himself into a position to ready himself for combat. However Kanix reacted far faster than Mashyuu gave her credit for. Gas hit the beast and caused the fur on it to fall, leaving it effectively naked and seemingly barely harmed even though it happily inhaled the woman's gas. Mashyuu almost recoiled in terror from what the creature was seemingly capable of doing. Then a blast of cold energy smashed into the monster, slowing it down as it neared Mashyuu. The Earth Wizard sprang up on the toes of his feet and launched himself up and over the monster just as it swang at Mashyuu with a slowed strike. The Earth Wizard flipped in a tucked motion and landed behind the beast. He half twisted on his right leg while slamming his left foot into the now naked creatures back as hard as he could. The Vulcan took a stumbling motion forward and twisted to face Mashyuu with a snarl on it's fanged teeth. Again it lashed out and again it missed as the combined effect of Mashyuu's Slayer reflexes and Kanix's cold spell made for an impromptu spell combination. Sensing the need to keep the attacks up Mashyuu dropped low while sweeping his leg and bringing his arms up to attack the creature. His leg sweep missed the mark but his right open palm slammed straight up into the Vulcan's jaw, rattling its teeth and making it howl in a bloody rage. The monster brought both its arms down at Mashyuu while he rolled backwards, just narrowly avoiding the monsters strikes. The ground trembled under the impact of the beast and nearly caused Mashyuu to fall over from the impact of the ground. "Yeah well... I can do that too! Earth Dragon's Tremor Stomp!" Mashyuu came to a stand and lifted his left leg before dropping his foot down and causing the ground to rumble all around him and the Vulcan, stones shot up and slammed into the monster just barely harming it.

The monster was about to slam into Mashyuu until a bolt of electricity slammed into it's back. It slammed it's fists into it's chest and ignored Mashyuu in order to charge Kanix. "NO!" Mashyuu shouted while trying to catch up to the faster monster. Mashyuu shouted to Rocky as the monster nearly slammed into Kanix even when she stabbed at the Vulcan. Rocky spread it's wings and flew up into the sky. It came down and slashed it's claws down the monster chest and turned it to stone. Mashyuu pointed both his hands at the monster and focused as hard as he possibly could. The stone ape shook in place than floated over to Mashyuu's hands. He spun around and aimed at a thick tree. "STONE BULLET!" He shouted and launched the stone Vulcan at the tree faster than most Wizards could run. It changed back into it's normal form just before it smashed into the tree and howled in pain. Mashyuu smiled at the battered beast while taking a step back. "Kanix, you o.k. over there?" Mashyuu shouted over his shoulders while keeping his eye on the monster that pulled itself out of an indention of the tree. Anger welled up in the monster as it howled loudly. It suddenly cast a series of spells that had Mashyuu's jaw dropping. It created a set of barrels and tossed them at both Kanix and Mashyuu. Mashyuu jumped out of the way of one as it blew up behind him. If not for his armored jacket he was sure that the barrel would have nearly killed him. He watched as the second barrel rolled right for Kanix. "Kanix move!" He shouted then glared at the Gorilla. He brought his arms up and shouted out. "Earth Dragon's Tomb!" The ground ripped up around the monkey and swallowed it hole, crushing the monster and breaking bones...

Mashyuu almost rolled his eyes as Kanix announced that the barrels exploded seeing as how he just had to deal with that but he knew that the motion would go unnoticed by the blind beauty. Grunting Mashyuu glared at the Captain of the Black Stache Pirates. His blue eyes locked on the single exposed brown eye of the treasure thief. "Bring it then! Kanix finish off the Monkey!" Mashyuu shouted. He started rush at the Pirate Captain and raised his arm to cast a spell when suddenly the ground just in front of the Captain sprouted up in the form of a cannon. "Cannon Make: Fire missile." The man called out and Mashyuu slid to a stop as a large wave of fire launched out at Mashyuu. He would have been hit had it not been for Rocky swooping in and grabbing the Earth Wizard, carrying him to safety just a few feet away from where the fire had been aimed. Mashyuu couldn't bring up another Earth Bullet yet but needed to do some damage. He pulled his right arm back while trying to focus on the golden electricity that he normally carried with his jacket until he realized that he had given the Jacket to his partner Kanix. "Damn it to hell. Brood I release you!" He shouted and raised his hand up high, letting the shadows around him swirl and form into a winged creature. It flew fast towards the Captain, releasing a blast of dark energy Mashyuu had dubbed Dark Matter. The resulting attack destroyed the stone cannon and rocked the Captain for a moment, causing him to recoil with a muted sort of anger for Mashyuu's surprising attack. Taking the chance to move Mashyuu raced forward and slid along the ground, dropping low while aiming an open palm out towards the Captain. "Secret Art: Earth Dragons Spiked Stone!' From the ground just under the Pirates leg, a thin but long stone spire jutted up and stabbed the Captain in the leg. Mashyuu sprang up on his feet and jumped onto the man's shoulders, springing off his body while driving him down to face the power of a terrible explosion...

Mashyuu flipped, and flipped, and flipped before landing on the ground behind the captain, his left gloved hand touched down on the ground with fingers spread wide to support the Wizard while he lifted his head and swore. He heard the cannon raise up and knew it was about to fire. As fast as he could Mashyuu rolled forward and sprang up as the captain shouted out. "Cannon Make: Earth Blast!" Mashyuu couldn't help but smile and open his mouth wide. The spell was powerful but the Earth Wizard inhaled the blast of stone and dirt that was sent flying towards the brown haired man. He chomped down mid front flip and twisted to land on his feet and face the cannon. The Dark Captain twisted his head in confusion and raised up five more cannons from the ground all made of stone. Mashyuu, with a renewed sense of magical power raised his palm and harnessed his birth right, something he very rarely did. The Aspect of Terra ran through his body and the stone cannons all lit up before crumbling to the ground, draining some of Mashyuu's magical energy.

The Pirate Captain took a sliding step backwards, not sure how to handle what he just watched Mashyuu do. His one non covered eye started to bounce around from tree to tree and a big grin covered his face. Mashyuu narrowed his eyes and saw as Kanix finished off the big monkey. He didn't understand how anyone could willingly kill but it really wasn't his place to judge. Kanix was once a dark Wizard and she was likely trying her best to do better.

"Rocky, lets roll!" Mashyuu shouted and the stone monster rushed forward to aid it's charge. Together the pair rushed the Wizard Captain and started to flank the man. Again Mashyuu started to pull his right hand back to throw a bolt of electricity but his jacket was gone. He swore under his breath and took a look to the sky, the Hell Brood was still buzzing around and waiting for an opening that mashyuu was happy to give the creature. Mashyuu stopped dead in his tracks as Rocky darted to the man's left. A tree near the Gargoyle sprouted a cannon and fired it at the creature, sending Rocky sliding across the ground when suddenly the Brood Fired down atop the Captain, enveloping him in a dark energy.

A bolt of electricity slammed into the Captain and Mashyuu couldn't help but feel pride. "About time. Seriously." Mashyuu grinned, watching Kanix continue her attack by going on with a strangely long rhyme then letting a gas spew from her staff. This made Mashyuu wonder if she actually cast her spells or if it all came from the weapon she held. Still he wasn't about to complain. At least until the gas surrounded him. Mashyuu took a deep breath before he was enveloped by the smoke and took a look around. He couldn't see anymore but the gas seemed to not really effect him. The Dragon Slayer focused on his ring and the item called out to him. "Five feet in front of you, level with your vision." Mashyuu took the advice and focused hard. He had a single spell that would truly help in this situation without hurting Rocky or Kanix.

Carefully Mashyuu lifted his hand to be level with his face and the ground under him trembled with fury. "Earth Dragons Stone Fist!" The ground under Mashyuu came up and formed a massive fist. Mashyuu pointed and the stone weapon surged forward hard. The Dragon ring on his finger made his spells more powerful and it truly was on display with his fist as it raced forward and slammed into Blackstache hard. The man was nearly blown back from the force of the strike but managed to put up a small cannon behind himself to keep the Pirate standing up. Mashyuu grimaced when he realized that the man was still standing but it looked like the poison in the air was effecting him.

From the fog Mashyuu could hear the stone Gargoyle of Rocky take a deep breath then launch a series of stones at the last spot Mashyuu hit, cutting the Pirate in the face and causing him to bleed from open wounds. Mashyuu couldn't help but grin at the thought of the Pirate being injured even more. The Hell Brood above the group used sonar to pinpoint the Pirate and dove down atop him, cutting at the man and taking the hat off his head before coming back up and tossing the hat at Kanix's feet with it's clawed hands.

Kanix sent another bolt of electricity at Blackstache, doing him more harm than good, then she darted into the fog, combined with her poison gas the Pirate Captain wasn't looking too good in the fight. Cannons sprouted all around him as he took a half step back. "Cannon make: Bombardment Blasters!" Each cannon fired up at Kanix, Mashyuu, and Rocky. The Earth Wizard gasped and shouted out. "Earth Dragons Stone Pillars!" The ground around Mashyuu erupted and one pillar came up under Kanix, raising her off the ground to avoid the cannon fire as the pillar took the blast. One sprouted up in front of Mashyuu and the other lifted Rocky off the ground. The captain could have killed Kanix or the Baby with that last strike. Mashyuu started to growl like an animal as he dropped low and snarled. His eyes narrowed and he activated a spell he rarely used. "Earth Dragon's Wisdom." His body lit up like he was entering dragon force, but really his body gained a minor boost in power.

Swiftly Mashyuu rushed in the fog, his ring allowing him to pin point where the monster was as he jumped up and slammed his knee into the Pirates face. His momentum caused Mashyuu to flip over the man after smashing his knee into his face. Mashyuu's finger pointed at the ground and a small stone floated to his finger tip. "Stone Bullet!" Mashyuu called out as he landed and spun around, rocketing the stone into the back of the Pirate Captain's skull, knocking the man over yet again. "Give it up Blackstache, you can't beat me and you know it. Kanix being here is just going to help me out. The one piece is mine." Mashyuu called out and scanned the sky just in time for the Hell Brood to make one last dive bomb on the Captain before vanishing in a puff of smoke.

Mashyuu attacked, then his Hell Brood, then Kanix unleashed a flurry of strikes. The fight was effectively over but not before the Captain got off one last spell. The ground under Mashyuu opened and the Earth Slayer fell down into a cannon. "Cannon Make: Human ammo." The Captain of the Blackstache Pirates whispered. Suddenly an explosion went off and Mashyuu was rocketed through the air faster than the Wizard could imagine. His body twisted and spun as pain shot through him. His legs, chest and face were covered in blood from the explosion ripping through his body. Mashyuu tried to cast a spell, to focus his energy but his body wouldn't react as he came down upon a tree.

He felt his eyes burn and his ribs crack while he started to fade in and out. The Earth Wizard was suspended in the air by something but he couldn't figure out what for a moment. Then he realized... Mashyuu had fallen down upon a branch and impaled himself just under his ribs. The tree branch that had ripped through his flesh was thin but strong, just narrowly avoiding any any of his major organs. Painfully he grabbed the end of the branch and started to pull himself off it, wincing in terrible pain. "Hahhhaaaa.....That smarts.... Sh-" He swore when he got to the edge of the branch and it started to bend. It snapped, dropping Mashyuu some thirty feet and into the ground hard. The snapped branch still stuck from his body a bit until he reached back and yanked it from his left side, staining the earthy ground with crimson blood.

Mashyuu rolled to his back and sat up, scanning the area for Rocky, or Kanix hell even Buggy would have done so long as he could have gotten some help in patching his wound. "Oh this freaking treasure better be worth finding. IF Kanix was right and I just got a hole put in me for nothing I'm gonna kill Buggy."

Mashyuu heard the voice of Kanix rip through the sky as a white light shot out in a soothing wave around the Earth wielding Wizard. He dabbed his side, feeling the sticky blood and the wound slowly healing. Mashyuu couldn't help but smile at the thought that Kanix, someone who didn't really trust most men, offering not only to help him on this job but to help keep him alive. "You just keep saving my life don't you? I have a feeling your going to be my best friend one day." Mashyuu chuckled and stood up, scooping up some dirt and rubbing it over the wound. "One with the Earth." Mashyuu whispered, letting the earth on his body meld into him and become flesh and bone, healing him even further.

Slowly the Earth Wizard hobbled over to Kanix and weakly grinned. "Yep, I'm good. So long as you don't ask me to start sprinting for a bit. Oh and I am gonna need that jacket back. The last woman that wore that long term died in it.." Mashyuu extended his hand for the jacket and with a shaky breath slipped it on his body and rolled his right arm that had no sleeve on it. "Buggy! Come out from behind that tree and tell us how close we are to the treasure." Mashyuu shouted.

Buggy peered around from a large tree and swiftly ran up to the downed pirate captain and pulled a partially burned map from the inside of his jacket. Buggy let the map unfold and he went wide eyed. "This ass is laying over the treasure!" Buggy shouted. Mashyuu kicked Blackstache out of the way and looked over at Kanix. "Did you kill him?" The Earth Wizard asked. Mashyuu lifted his hand over the spot Blackstache had been laying and he swiftly bent his arm up at a sharp angle, ripping the treasure chest out of the ground.

Carefully Mashyuu opened the chest and his head dropped low. "It's a damn swim suit.... A one piece swim suit." Mashyuu muttered. Buggy started to laugh and picked it up out of the chest. "Yep and it changes colors!" Mashyuu glared at Buggy and stood up. He wanted to rip Buggy's head off but he didn't have the strength for it. "Sorry Kanix... I seem to have wasted your time and put your child in danger... Can you forgive me?"
