There were laser light shows everywhere, happening around the massive sea creature to Heero throwing around flashy spells.  It's a wonder why people have flashy spells to begin with; yeah it looks cool and it's the stuff that bards would sing about, but can't the same be achieved with something less-than-flashy?  Anastasia's mind returned from her thoughts as she landed on a rooftop, causing her propellant in her suit's engine to run at idle.

As Anastasia landed, she walked towards the children with her left hand out.  "I'm here to help you.  I need you to come with me so we can get you to safety," she stated to the children before a transmission could be heard inside of her helmet.  It was Nao's voice coming in broken.  She heard the number 16 and how she was holding up.  "I'm doing fine, Nao.  I have two children here I need to pick up," she said before a loud roar could be heard from the massive Gargalrax as it began to fall.  "Crap!  Crap!  Crap!" she shouted before picking up the children against their will and ignited the engines in her armor and propelled herself forward.

Moments after she launched herself and the children to safety, she kids began to pound at her armor, trying to pry themselves away.  "Mother is still down there," one of the children shouted before her radar picked up a life signature in the water below.  Anastasia took a deep breath before whispering out.  "Hold on, kids," before diving down towards the water.  The red reticle indicating their mother was quickly surrounded by 3 more markers; these were the walking sharks that she had to deal with.

"They are going to eat her!  Please help her!"  one of the kids shouted out, hitting her helmet.  "Alright, alright!" she shouted before she continued her dive down before their mother's life signature was snuffed out.  With a quick change of directions, Anastasia stopped and witnessed the woman getting torn to shreds, staining the water below them to pure red.  "Don't look," she said before hearing a loud roar coming from Gargalrax's direction.  A deluge.

"No no no!" she shouted as she put her engine's afterburners on and quickly propelled herself upwards to see water rushing from the massive creature in a massive tsunami towards the town.  It doesn't appear that people on top of buildings would be safe.

Her eyes picked up a girl fighting one of the walking sharks on one of the rooftops.  She quickly flew towards her and came to a hover.  "You need to move!  There's a massive wave in-coming!" she shouted down.  Her eyes continued to roam only to see Apollo running down the main street with people in tow.  Crap, she wasn't going to be able to get there in time.  With a deep breath in, she shouted down towards Apollo.  "Hey!  You!  You need to get the people off of the street!  There's a giant wave coming in!" she shouted out.

There wasn't much she could do to help those people down there.  If she put the children down, she'd put them at risk.  If she went down there to summon up a massive wall with Apollo, their wall may break with the speed and power of the water.  The water had enough pressure to make buildings crumble from underneath.  She was in quite the pickle.  She had an idea!

A white light appeared directly in front of her, summoning up a ball-shaped droid that beeped and blooped only to get kicked like a soccer ball directly at a building.  "Kevin!  I need you to destroy that building and knock it over.  It should slow down the wave!" she shouted before the robot bleeped and blooped once more.  Upon hitting the ground, the droid spun around and noticed a massive wave of water coming their way.  Kevin, the little droid, found one of the support pillars and instantly blew itself up, knocking down the pillar causing the building to crumble.

The building was out of the way of the people that Apollo was escorting out and it was in between them and the massive wave that was coming in.  While Anastasia knew it wasn't enough to completely damn up the water, she knew it was enough to stop a lot of the debris from hurting the people that Apollo tried so desperately to rescue.

Anastasia re-adjusted her grip on the children, hearing them bawl their eyes out.  "Sorry kids.  But I need to get you to safety," she shouted before flying in the direction of the Lamia Scale guild hall.

After the two landsharks had been eliminated (apparently even if they were fast enough to catch Akryn's fist they couldn't dodge if their own shadows attacked them all of a sudden. Good to know, since that meant that they didn't have supernatural senses or something) Akeya landed next to Akryn, watching what remained of the sharks. As usual her teammate had used that weapon of his which could split up into countless daggers. He really loved that weapon so far as she could tell, since he used it in pretty much every single fight that he had been in that she had been able to witness. Well, that wasn't important right now. What was important that now that they were together they could begin planning how to deal with this infestation of aquatic predators. It was quite the nuisance, especially since Akeya could smell that they weren't holding back when it came to attacking anybody they encountered. As a half dragon she had a very good nose, but even so some scents are more prominent than others. Being a predator herself she could smell the blood that was freely being spilled. An overwhelming scent which made it difficult to smell anything else, and which tried to appeal to her instinctive side. As a dragonkin the smell of blood awakened the urge to hunt the weakened prey. Luckily Akeya's mental discipline was strong enough that she could stomp on that urge. If she were to give in to that urge any legal mage who she happened to encounter would be able to report to the Magic Council that she wasn't doing her job as a Rising Star. Worse, she would be endangering those very people she was supposed to be protecting. She couldn't do that just because the stench of blood was so strong.

"There are too many of these creatures for us to dispose of them all easily. They are originating from the coast and have spread throughout the town, although by now they have focused on eating whatever happens to be in their way. Judging by their movements and the fact that we're seeing them in groups of two rather than larger packs I am fairly certain that they're being controlled or guided. Unfortunately because of the colossus I can't track down the location of the one who's controlling the sharks. Whatever that thing is, its magic power is strong enough that it blankets everything."

As if that was a signal Akeya then got to witness something punching a large hole in that utterly humongous monster, causing it to topple and fall back into the water as if a mere puppet which had its strings cut. With its fall the magic power that had been bearing down on Akeya also disappeared, leaving the half dragon blinking and actually staggering slightly. It hadn't been for very long, but her being had already been adapting to the presence of that titan, including the effect its magic power had on its surroundings, like a diver's body slowly gets used to the increasing pressure as they go deeper and deeper. The sudden lack of the magic presence was like a bucket of ice cold water being emptied over the half dragon, causing her to gasp and shiver for a moment before she manages to adapt. She couldn't say what exactly it had been that had managed to do that to the self-proclaimed god. Well, she had seen the attack, but all she could say that some kind of magic barrage of extreme proportions had suddenly hit Gargalrax from Hargeon Town and kept going until it found a way straight through the tentacled monster. The how and the who eluded her.

Well, that wasn't the biggest problem. The biggest problem was that while Akeya could now finally sense all the magic in the town and surroundings properly again (and quickly noticed that there was a powerful source of magic standing at the coast, stronger than even Zack and any other H-Rank mage who had come to Hargeon's aid) she could also seen that the titan hadn't left the town without a presence before sinking back into the depths (at least, Akeya presumed that was what the monster wanted them to believe was happening after it had received that bombardment. She wasn't so sure that the self-proclaimed deity could that easily be dismissed. Sure, that attack had been unbelievably destructive, but it still hadn't matched Gargalrax's magic power. Creatures of that power level were never easy to kill or defeat, regardless of whether they were actual gods or not). The half dragon's eyes widened as she could see the tidal wave that was now threatening the town. No way to evacuate or find safety against this. She could most likely escape on her own by using her wings, but she had rather that Akryn wouldn't die here simply because there was too much water. He might be a good fighter, and incredibly resilient, but even he couldn't stand up to a cataclysm such as this.

Turning to Akryn Akeya made a motion with her hand, causing one of the nearby shadows to darken and bulge before a familiar shadow fox jumped out, positioning itself in front of Akeya and waiting further commands. Korikami didn't appear very impressed by what was happening, but he kind of shared his master's trait of being incredibly difficult to impress. Even more so in some cases because the shadow fox was by nature incredibly hard to kill or injure. A tsunami wouldn't even pose a threat to him. Not because he could resist the water, but because he could just hide in a shadow and wait for it all to pass over. At the bottom of a tidal wave there was always plenty of shadows. Quite honestly a tidal wave which hit the coastline could also be described as a liquid wave of filth, the way it would pick up anything in its path, crush it through sheer force, and keep dragging and pushing it forwards along with the water so that anything which confronted the tidal wave wouldn't be hit by mere water. They would be hit by an advancing wave of mass and force.

"Hide in Korikami. He'll bring you to safety. He'll release you once you're no longer threatened by that tidal wave."

Akeya doesn't give Akryn any chance to argue or reply as she herself jumps inside another shadow, getting ready to wait for the tidal wave to pass overhead. As dangerous as a tsunami could be, it was ultimately still a humongous physical attack. For a Shadow Dragon Slayer such as her there were a wide variety of methods to escape the fate promised by that large mass of water. Korikami looked at Akryn, waiting for him to accept the offer of safety before swallowing him and jumping into a nearby shadow as well.

The two sharks were swiftly defeated in this manner, with careful and speedy calculations that the semi-fey's senses provided her. Katsuki would jam itself into eyes and gills, with the occasional bop upon some poor creature's nose. Yuzuki was quite a match to go against in physical fighting, having had about twenty years of experience, and the memories of having gone against opponents of all types, and knowing the weirdest fighting styles there were. As Katsuki rammed its way into one sharks brain, and into another sharks vital organs via gills, Yuzuki could finally relax. These sharks weren't too bad to fight; she could take care of them well enough.

Just as she felt she could finally tale a short breather and relax a little, however, a sight caught her eyes. That giant monster who had risen out from the waters had just been hit by a blow from some mage of sorts, and to Yuzuki's shock and surprise, it worked! The monstrous sea creature toppled over in what seemed like slow motion, falling, falling, falling... Too late did the semi-fey realized how big a wave the monster would produce after it fell, and as the water began rising, the whites of her eyes began to show, as the feral side of Yuzuki kicked in once more, Though still tired from the fight with the shark duo, she could still move fairly fast. With a giant wave kicking at her heels? Even faster.

Realizing she wouldn't be able to make it in time running, Yuzuki knew she would have no choice but to hitch a ride on something. Her wings were by no means powerful enough to carry her free from the wave, due to them not being completely substantial. Leaping onto a roof to look for someone, something he could grab onto, she could spot several possibilities. Some dragon-like figure rose above the ground, beating great heaves of wind which Yuzuki could ride on. Some machine-like thing appeared in her line of vision as well, something the semi-fey could ride on. Seeing that that was closer, Yuzuki grabbed onto Anastasia's suit, hitching a ride to safety. It wasn't the best choice she could have made, but with her frenzied, feral mind at the moment, there was nothing else the semi-fey could have thought of. She could only cross her fingers and hope that whoever was inside would be friendly...

Apollo kept up with the evacuation as normal, or normal for for the situation. People were running and fleeing the city and more and more kept coming until something happened. There was a violent rumble and then he looked back knowing it wasn't a good sign. He looked back curiously confused at what was happening but the shaking go worse with each second. Then he heard a mage he was unfamiliar with call his name. He looked up to see some one floating there in a suit of armor. While her couldn't make her out based on the voice he could tell it was a girl not that it mattered because the information she had for him was more terrifying and way more important.

She called down that there was a gigantic wave coming and the people had to get off the street or they'ed be crushed. His eyes widened at this statement and he used a shield to lifted him up into the air. She wasn't lying a massive wave was coming and it was powerful enough to smash through building with ease. He could hear people screaming due to the wave and knew he couldn't save everyone from it but he would save the group on main street somehow...they were his responsibility and he felt obligated to help them get to safety though what could he do he wasn't powerful enough to make a shield to stop it, The situation looked hopeless but he then saw the mage and armor try to make a dam with a nearby building to slow it down. He nodded at the mage then remembered something he learned when he became an ace of Fairy Tail, The one weapon that might save everyone, The Blade of the Faeries.

He remembered Heero telling him about it and he then decided he would need to go all or nothing here, saving the people was more of a priority then him saving himself after all that is why he became a wizard to help others no matter the cost He then rose in the air on a shield angling readying himself. His heart was racing and he was scared, he was about to dive into the heart of a tsunami and potently sacrifice himself if this plan failed. He raised on hand into the and closing his eyes for a moment then touching his guild mark. "Please let this work..." he muttered to himself then his eye's shot open. "I summon the Blade of the Faeries!" he said as bright gold orb that can be seen all across Hargeon appeared in his hand. The glowing got more intense as it shaped itself into Fairy Tail ultimate weapon the flash being seen for miles he he flung it to his side, A massive golden great sword with the strength and heart of his guild embedded in it which is were it's true power lied.

He could fell the power flowing through him, It coursed through his body it felt weird but amazing. So much untapped energy he felt stronger, faster, and way more focused, this was truly a weapon of a god. He then focused on the wave again it was time it would either destroy this wave or die trying either way he was going to save these people. He gripped the blade his heart pounding but he knew what needed to be done. The then made a downward slope to the wave center and dashed down with a burst of speed. He was way faster then every before as he dashed forward. As he ran forward forward he started to get more scared hearing the roaring water his heart pounding a million miles a second but he kept going determined to to save everyone. As he got there he gulp then got ready to swing up ward using his speed and momentum to hit as hard as he could. "Here we go!" he yelled as he struck the wave.

As the upward swing of the blade made contact with the wave there was a massive golden explosion and the wave was blasted back upward into itself with an H rank of damage. as most the water went up into the air and proceeded to come down as a downpour of rain something else happened. he knocked it back with such force it caved in on it's self sending it backwards in a smaller wave back toward the ocean or the other parts of the town. Apollo panted deeply as he then landed on a shield watching the wave go back towards the ocean he panted deeply looking at all the destruction wishing he could have done it sooner thinking about everyone who got stuck in the wave before that...but then as the crowd ran they cheered since they were alive. Apollo looked back and sighed but gave a small smile. The cheer was like a graceful melody during this time almost inspiring him to keep going. he got up this part of town was safe it was time to go to a different part of town. he rose up on a shield and started to go to see what was next he had a little more time with this blade so his was going to use it well and turn the tide of this fight...no pun intended.

Akryn stared in dumbstruck awe as he witnessed the titan take a blast of energy from one, single person, and drop like so many piles of rocks and wasted effort. He had to admit to himself, he had not expected the monstrousity to be so easy to take down. And yet it apparently had been! But not without a few consequences it seemed, as its falling body sent out a huge tidal wave of water which quickly began smashing across the town. When Akeya told hi to hide in Korikami he was not about to object, but before he did so he had a most wicked idea. He quickly called his weapons to him, drawing his golden sword and his seven cuts into the shadow with him as he extended his left arm out, extending the finger, and grasped the air above his hand, drawing it back as if he was drawing a bow. "Akeya, give me like three minutes and then let me out as close to the guy on the beach as you can. I have something nasty planned for him." He said before disappearing into Korikami and startng to charge up his Hurricane Ballistae.

    ATTENTIOOOOON!

Hi there!  I'm not here as a playable character, but the guy OOC.  So, there have been a few things happening here (not as extreme as in other threads, and you'll soon see why) that have been brought up to attention and it comes down to me to have to post in the thread telling you guys a few things.

But, before that, good job on you guys!  The thread, for the most part, has been kept clean and fair.

That being said, Fujisama, you've been doing some cool stuff. However, some of the stuff you HAVE been pulling is a bit... Iffy. Having no clouds for rains is... Weird. The way you justify it is also even weirder. I can explain what I mean by this if you honestly want me to, but, there SHOULD be rain clouds, so there are rain clouds. Also, give at least SOME form of counterplay to your attacks, mainly when it comes to Zack; trapping him in a bubble out of nowhere without him being able to avoid it, much less break out from it, is kinda... Not cool.

    That's all, really.

    Thanks for being so cool!

    I'm out.

Once more he was surrounded in a bubble. Yet this one was different. The water was somehow denser and harder to move through. It had prevented him throwing his sphere of energy, but at least he managed to cancel it before it exploded on him as that would of hurt like hell. As he observed the water and considered his options drills of liquid began to try and force their way through his armored takeover form. The drills were pretty strong and were managing to get through the armor slowly, but it would take a while in order to get through. It was an impressive bubble prison, but was it impressive enough to stop Zack? No, not quite. He thrust his fist forward with the blade clamped through it. With his takeover enhanced strength the blade was more than enough to pierce through the bubble, but the bubble immediately began to seal itself. A self-regenerating bubble prison? That was even more impressive, but it wasn't exactly the fastest regeneration and if you wanted to stop Zack you needed to be fast. With a swift motion he began to spin rapidly slicing through the bubble. The drills were slowing his motion and as he spun they dug into him heavily, but it was still more than enough for him to slice through the bubble and step out of it into the rain.

Without hesitation he activated a spell that caused flames to surge up from his feat surrounding hi in fire in the shape of a phoenix. This was enough to dry him off and temporarily blast the rain and ground water away . Enough for him to use the moment to activate another spell and drop through the ground as if it was water. With this he could approach a lot more easily without risking being covered in the water. It seemed the opponent could manipulate water freely which made things a lot trickier.

He was still angry with himself that he hadn't been able to stop the tidal wave at all. He still wasn't strong enough to deal with things by himself. His strength was also not entirely his own. Probably at least 25% of it at least came from Ophiuchus. He needed to be stronger. He needed to be better, but right now what he needed to do was smash the bad guy's face in. He could sense the magic power and was slowly making his way towards it underground, but he would wait and see what his opponent did before he struck. He wanted to end this in a single blow. He'd put every last drop of his magic into it if he had to. Was it finally time to unleash his strongest spell? No, he wouldn't be able to use it whilst underground and if he emerged and tried to charge it then he'd likely be bubbled again. He'd have to rely on his slightly weaker spells or at least until he smashed his opponent a bunch to open up a gap he could use.

He wondered how the others were doing? Perhaps they would be able to make him an opening for him to launch a devastating barrage. If only he had a way to contact them.

Even as the many mages watched the mighty titan fall, even as they combated his wave, moved to battle lesser threats, to save the citizenry, to heal wounds and deal with crisis around the city, expending their magic and wounding themselves, even as they thought the world saved and the mighty beast fallen, a dark and forboding power would wash over the entire city, like a wave of hostility and terror, digging deep into the souls of all gathered. Even the mighty wizard saints, so bold in their power, even the holy clerics, the darkest of dragons, the mighty warriors, the gods of blood, the technological geniuses in their airships, all of them would feel it, deep in their souls. Gargalrax had come full, and his presence was beyond belief.

A wash of power flooded over the city, energy ad life force renewed into the behemoth that had fallen. No, not within the behemoth, but beneath it! Even as so many watched in likely awe, two massive breaks in the water would appear, miles long, hundreds if not thousands of feet wide, with jagged mountain ranges along the edges and curving, with the behemoth in the center of them. As the seemingly massive ranges of mountains, curving in nature, began to rise, and oddly close, it would dawn on those watching just what they were seeing. The closing of jaws around a punctured tongue.

The beast would continue to rise as it closed its jaws, scales the size of towers gleaming in the setting sun, water cascading from its closing jaws as if the ocean itself was emptying. It was enormous, its size defying belief. It was as if an island had come to life and risen from the sea with the sole purpose of crushing Hargeon. The beast continued to rise, its absolutely massive head and body, shaped like an ungodly large bullet, with a rounded snout and a massive, rounded body, with two massive legs attached to it. The beast would rise higher, higher, and some how even higher still into the air, mile after mile of massive body rising up high. before the massive body would begin to topple, its huge body blotting out the sun as its body plummeted down to catch itself on the land, its legs catching its weight. But the sheer impact from the legs sent out shockwaves like nothing seen before, two massive craters forming under the feet, hundreds of feet deep and wide, flattening buildings over a mile in either direction and sending people flying. But perhaps the worst part of the beast, worse than its size, worse than that sickening, other worldly feel to its magical presence, worse than the sheer awe it likely inspired in so many, was what was all along its body. Tentacles, thousands and thousands of tentacles, belching forth from massive mouths all along the beasts gigantic form, streaming down to the city in swarms of varying sizes. Some were small, no more than a few inches thick, but incredibly long with row after row of razor sharp teeth along the edges, swooping down to snatch up civillains and bury the teeth into their flesh, yanking them back up into the jaws. Others were massive, hundreds of feet across with stone colored scales across the back and massive, crushing suckers along the bottom, striking down to smash entire avenues into rubble. Even as the tentacles smashed along, the massive creature would begin moving, one gigantic leg rising as the beast slid forward, further onto land, its body rising more out of the ocean, where even more of its flesh was hidden in the waves, which were rushing in in gigantic waves to fill the space its body had left behind. Gargalrax, his true form, was coming ashore, and who could imagine the destruction he would bring.

Apollo stop the title wave successfully sending the massive wave back to the ocean. but then he saw the mighty beast fall into the ocean, Apollo immediately started to run there activating his Tranist Armor causing his body to To glow a golden hue the feeling of safety and warmth around him. As he ran questions popped into his mind constantly. Was that it was the monster truly defalcated it was all so sudden who did it though though that part didn't matter to much to him the monster appeared to be slain so it it was time to deal with the fish man himself one one conducting the sharks onto the land but then something else happened something more pressing something beyond what Apollo thought was capable of happening happened. As Apollo got closer to the edge of town he saw something rising from the ocean again. The real monster finally emerged and for the the briefest of moments all Apollo could do is stare holding on to his guilds weapon tightly...what was this monster how was it not dead. This behemoth was hundreds of feet tall It was as big as an Island if one could come to life how a beasts like this was even able to exist was beyond Apollo it's many tentacles flaing around as it blocked out the sun shrouding the town in darkness this was truly the thing out of nightmares and Apollo was shaking how this this was even allowed to exist was beyond him but his bodies first instinct was to run to get safe but he knew he couldn't do that, he looked down at the bade he was holding this was by far one of the most powerful weapons that was ever crafted and it had his guilds might and heart behind it then he looked at the beast as it began to come ashore. Apollo knew he had to help stop this he didn't have much more time with this blade but he needed to use the time he had with it wisely so he was determined to try to stop this thing but he didn't know how. Apollo knew he couldn't do it alone but he trusted that any nearby wizard wouldn't abandon him and even if they did he could at least die knowing he died a wizard of Fairy Tail protecting the people. Apollo had a plan to not only harm the beast but create a beacon in this darkness. He started to run at the beast with the guilds weapon in hand. As he rushed the beast the saw tentacles flailing he had to get a little closer to it getting hit was the least of his concerns right now since he knew he would be safe As he got closer he saw a tentacle fly towards him as as it made contact he dispersed blinking away dissappering. Instantly he teleported in front of t the mighty beast He was now inchs from it the horror more intense then ever before and he was high in the sky but that wasn't important he needed to get one good swing in before his time ran out. He then slashed at the beast causing a large blast of light that could be seen all through out Hargeon since it could block the sun. As part of it recoiled Apollo hoped this would inspire other to join in the cause though he wasn't sure what his next move was all he could think was "someone help me..."

"THIS ISN'T EVEN THE MONSTER'S FINAL FORM!"

Something clung onto Anastasia's leg for dear life.  Pretty sure there was a frog that did this once-upon-a-time.  Perhaps this was instantly karma and her lot in life.  However, a life is a life, and even if the pixie-mage was one of the lives she was to save then so be it.  The extra weight didn't seem to bother her ability to fly nor hover, reaching down and picking up the pixie and holding her like a brave knight firmly in her left arm as they hovered over the flooded landscape.

Magic was flung around in a mystical show of light and power; the kind of power she wanted to have.  The very destructive force that she desired to have.  Not only to help her keep her friends safe during jobs, but to put it to the bad guys -- so they could remember the sting of her strikes.  But all she required was strength.  It was unknown to her if the raw magical energy she saw emanating from Nadarr was something he had within him or if an outside force was responsible for the raw, terrifying power.  A little smile was made underneath the helmet at the raw and intense power shown by Nadarr's Fairy Tail weapon.

Turning her covered face towards Lavender, Anastasia nodded to the pixie.  "Are you alright?" she asked before a massive roar came from the ocean.  What we thought was the end of the beast came back to life all of a sudden.  "Crap.  Why won't that thing die?" Anastasia asked out loud; maybe far too loud.  Anastasia turned her head back towards Lavender for a moment.  "Are you still able to fight?  I know that thing will squash us like bugs, but we have to try, right?" she asked before turning to look back towards where the ship was.

"Damn it, Nao.  Where are you?" she asked as she continued to hover in place.  She felt naked without one of her partners in her team to come help out.  Certainly, her combat abilities are probably the highest in the team, but she also completely relies on her team to help her out.  It's not like she does jobs by herself.  No, that would be vane of her to think that.

And then suddenly, everything began to recede.  All of the shark-creatures began to return to the ocean and Hargeon was left near empty by the time the enemy troops began to retreat.  "They're retreating?  What was the point of them coming here other than to cause chaos and take needless lives?" she asked out loud; loud enough for Lavender to hear.  She began to question the motives of the Rising Tides.  While the events here were far too similar to the events of the Priory, it only left her guessing why they came, flooded the town, released their goons to kill people, only to leave.  What was their end goal here?

OOC:  The retreating bit came from Ariel's post in the other topics of Hargeon.

Standing taller than even the gods as they sit on their thrones, the beast let out a bellowing howl of laughter. Several ants began running as they realized they'd bitten off far more than they could chew, but all were far too late. A massive tentacle was lifted, sweeping across the coast and toppling buildings as it smashed through them. An enormous crater was blasted open, homes and debris flying to the sky as a tentacle erupted from under Hargeon, tearing a massive gash in the town. The massive appendage was preparing to crash down to level a large section of the port city when a wave of air slashed it off, causing it to land almost perfectly back down in the hole from which it emerged. Several beams impacted Gargalrax's hide, dealing almost no damage through the thick, leathery armour that was his flesh, but it had served to annoy him rather greatly. "You insects are still alive!?" he bellowed, lifting a set of tentacles from the sea and slamming them back down, sending a non-magical tsunami towards Hargeon that would serve to level a good portion of the houses lining the shore. The wave would serve as a viable method to keep other ants from biting at him, as well as a means of reducing their numbers. A wall of smaller tentacles flew up, blocking off some of the bastard mosquito's attacks. 'Twas then, what the insects below would call a large ship would begin blasting away at Gargalrax's body, smashing minuscule burn marks into him. Out of reaction more than the minor stinging sensation, the creature let out a howl before sweeping a tentacle in its direction, sending out a blast of air that would send almost and ship, however, a competent pilot would be able to save his or her ship before it crashed. Something then began striking at Gargalrax's back, another of those damned mosquito's these... ants called Dragons. Gargalrax bent over, releasing an enormous amount of air from behind him that smelled like the inside of a dead creature if it were fermenting in its own organs for years without decaying, a smell that would repel even the most tolerant of beings.

The behemoth of a creature had nearly made landfall when a golden light began forming high in the sky, even higher up than the behemoth itself. It was known only by the mages of this world as the Etherion Cannon, a weapon the magic council had only ever utilized in dire situations. Gargalrax however hadn't known this contraption, this... spell of deathly prowess and only gave it a passing glance. His tentacles swept across the shore once more, his laughter echoing through the town as he watched the wizards flee, not knowing it wasn't him by which they feared... It would require some time for the attack to be finished, and those who remembered this spell would be wise enough to vacate the immediate area. "YES! RUN YOU VILE CREATURES! SCATTER AS I LAY CLAIM TO YOUR PUNY SETTLEMENT!" his arrogant voice would be heard as massive tentacles ripped from underneath Hargeon, tearing enormous craters that lined the streets and cut off exit routes, sending hundreds of homes into the air.

Post by Fujisame 17th April 2016, 7:27 pm

OOC: So Brennan, I’m sorry to say this, but you’re about to be hating life. The Event staff and I spoke on it before I made the call, but your ability to speak while underwater by using fire to keep the water away via evaporation isn’t going work. At the same time, the flare thing you attempted isn’t going to ‘fly’ either. You’re underwater with me at this point, attempting to spark up, sorry. Also, if anyone else has complaints about this thread, come to me(Fujisame, or Iram) or ask people for my skype.

You know they say, you don’t piss off a shark. When you look at Fuji, you know he’s a shark normally by how he acts. So the part of him that was shark like was pissed off. …. Wait, Fuji was fully shark, so what did that mean for everyone? He was fuckin’ livid currently. Why? First of all, the plan seemed to go to shit with the Garga-dumb-fuck, and now there were people with shit they didn’t need to have their hands on. What the fuck were the earth walkers doing?

He took a deep breath within the water before noticing the fire twirp coming towards him. His brow rose to look at him as he seemed to fizzle out under the water with him. That was it. His muscles through his body twitched for all of a moment before he clapped his hands together. The muscles that beneath his skin that were compressed rippled with the force he created with the clap which would cause a shockwave within the water just around him that had the force to push away the water. This would let the fire twirp that’d came at him to drop for a moment, before Fuji had decided to take a step from where he had decided to stand before.

It took less than a second afterward for Fuji to move his left leg forward just a bit before the ground directly below him, which was a stone warf crafted from stone and all that, caved in around his foot. This was caused by him just barely stomping before his eyes became a beady yellow to all that could see. His mana that had previously filled the area, that mana that was in each and every drop of rain and water that filled the area around him would suddenly begin to vibrate. Even Zack, who had decided to flee to underground would notice something wrong.

A single voice would radiate from the area. Fuji’s. ”Shark Den.” His voice had dropped an octive, being one that was like that one would expect from an ancient powerful dragon. Fuji as said earlier, wasn’t pleased with the actions of anyone around. The water that was on everyone, regardless of what they’d attempted earlier, or attempts to remove would dig into their skin, directing themselves to their hand. To add to the effect, with his voice carried an aura with it that would shake all within the thread in fear. On their hands, the shape of a blue shark would appear on their hands. The mark would pulse. (This mark will scar your character if you want, otherwise it will disappear at the end of the thread. Think heavily on this. It could be useful later on.)

”A gift for you all who decided to put up with me today. My time is done, and I suggest you all prepare leave soon also. Things are about to get rather explosive.” The Shark spoke through the water that covered everything in the area.

Before the eyes of Bren, and anyone else who had moved closer during the time, they’d see as Fuji’s body turns to water, splashing against the stone before slipping backwards from the area into the ocean, and disappear. Fuji had left, but would he ever return? Maybe~

Destruction. That’s all there was to Hargeon Town. The guild was in disarray, the buildings were all but wiped out, and the citizens were dying incredibly quickly to the currents and the current shark-dog-things that were hounding the place and hunting up people. It was all too much… and Nao was beginning to realise how dangerous the waters were. The town had not prepared a good sea defence, and it showed how weak they were to the nautical monsters that could hide in the depths of the sea. What if this was only the first wave? Just a scout for an even larger Gargamel? They would be pretty doomed if they couldn’t get any further than doing just little hits to the monster.

From knocking it down to it getting back up, it looked like George would have to be the one to save the day. Of course this would be completely stupid… and Ana would kill him if he ended up trashing the ship carrying the dozens of people they had now picked up. But an attack that killed a dragon? It would only make sense that it could take on this titan, or at least do some kind of damage right?

However as soon as Nao would move towards Gorgonzola, a giant special beam cannon would appear above it ready to strike. From what he had heard about orbital beam attacks was that not getting out in time would be really bad for staying alive… It was time to get out.

He would start piloting the ship away from Googleplex as he figured that even though his ship could be a literal dragon slayer, it wouldn’t be able to survive the blast. And if he was carrying dozens of people that was increasing by the minute because of his gryphon moving around and saving people, then why would be even risk their lives for one shot of glory on the creature?

As soon as he turned away from Globbernaught Nao would begin to feel a searing pain move across his body, slowly moving towards his hand. He would not be the only one to feel it as the people on board started screaming in pain as they felt whatever magic this was to cause them so much pain. And as they felt this excruciating pain they would also gain a small shark mark on their hands.

”W-what the hell is horrible pain?” Nao asked himself as he fell the the floor, leaving the AI to pilot away as it would pass by Ana and Yuzuki. The grabbers on the ship would grab them and stuff them inside its cargo hold and keep them safe, a long with any other mage they found along the way.

”T-this is your captain speakin- ah dammit,” Nao would weakly try and announce, feeling the burning of the sharkman’s magic. ”W-we’re moving out of Hargeon Town as there is a giant orbital cannon poised ready to take out the beasts. Hold on tight and prepare. I’ll be activating the shields to keep us safe from anymore attacks.”

Upon everyone who as able to get on George was settled inside the ship; the ship would then activate its defensive moves and get them out of here as soon as possible. It wouldn’t be too long now until they were out in a safe distance.

Nao would just lie on the floor and look at the mark on his hand. It looked like he wasn’t going to forget what happened here. He would have to think about a way he could deal with being outsmarted by all these sea monsters. The land had lost the battle, though it may have won the war.

He would just wait for Ana to get here before they decided on what to do with all these people they had on their ship now.

Post by Akeya 18th April 2016, 2:54 pm

Akeya wasn't one to give up easily, but she also wasn't one of those muscle-brains who only ever thought about fighting, more fighting, and fighting until they died because they couldn't comprehend that fighting for the sole sake of fighting would get you killed the moment you found yourself against the wrong opponent. She had heard stories of how brave heroes would overcome any obstacle as long as they held onto their beliefs and never backed down because they were fighting for their friends and families, but those kinds of stories had always sounded rather questionable in her experience. She wasn't going to claim that they couldn't possibly be anything but lies and fables, but she also wasn't going to just believe them without some solid proof either. A mouse wouldn't kill a cat just because it really wanted to. The humans liked to cling to the belief that they lived in a world where in the end the hero would always win. Akeya took the belief that the world, even though it was beautiful, vast, amazing and filled with surprises and mysteries, was not fair. It was many things, but fairness was not one of them. Or maybe the problem was that it was completely fair, but was fair from a completely objective point of view that didn't see valour and determination as the highest values. If a hero managed to defeat a strong foe seemingly by virtue of refusing to give up it was more likely that the hero had the ability to defeat that foe from the very beginning. They didn't become stronger simply because they were trying harder, they simply were able to utilize all the power they already possessed because they had a reason to use literally everything they had. That was how these victories formed by determination and the power of friendship were created. Not by the feelings turning into strength, but because humans were very emotional creatures, and those emotions could be used to help them channel their power properly.

Right now however Akeya was pretty sure that even if she were to fight as if she was trying to protect her life, her very existence, and that of everything she found important it wouldn't help. It was that kind of fight. This wasn't something which just required her to find a good cause that allowed her to destroy all the barriers inside herself for her to win. If she took all the properties that she possessed, turned her entire being into numbers which combined would show her combat potential, and then did the same for the enemies she had to take down, the difference would be so big that trying to overcome that was a dream not even a fool could belief. Well, that wasn't entirely true: a fool could belief anything as long as they were just oblivious enough. Or brain-dead.

The giant tentacular monster they had been dealing with before had been shot straight through its humongous torso by a ridiculously large weapon, large enough for Akeya to wonder if one of the Aces of another guild had decided to unleash one of their sacred Guild Spells, spells of which each and every one had an effect that was nigh-impossible to equal with any normal type of spell, much less surpass. Then that monster had fallen down, although Akeya had been rather suspicious about that. It wasn't that she always thought that everything would go the worst way, and that shooting that beast would actually power it up and turn it into something even dangerous. It was just that she was used to the fact that this world was a harsh one, and the best way to be accurate with your predictions was to try and constantly be as negative as possible. More emotional people would most likely call it depressing if they ever learned how Akeya's predictions had become more and more accurate the better she became at being pessimistic. It wasn't that everything would always go as wrong as possible. It was just that quite often life wasn't as happy as you might want it to be.

In this case, however, she was pretty sure that what had happened was close to what could be called the worst case scenario. Well, that wasn't necessarily true. Since she could imagine this she could still imagine a whole lot worse. However it was most definitely close to being the worst case scenario if she only looked at things which had a more realistic chance of actually happening. The tentacular monster which had been given a chest window was revealed to be a mere tongue of the largest creature that Akeya had ever seen or even heard of (not counting mythological creatures which were supposed to be an entire world by themselves). It was large enough that it quite honestly just defied explanation. Akeya realized that a lot of things was possible but this was definitely going on her list of experiences which stretched the boundaries of her belief. Not that she would deny what she was seeing. She just wouldn't ever have believed it if it hadn't shown up in front of her like that. Something that large shouldn't exist, and the fact that it did troubled her.

Regardless, the arrival of that monster which made the previous one nothing more than a tongue (the most ugly tongue that Akeya had ever seen. Seriously, she couldn't imagine what kind of creature it was that its tongue would turn out to look like that. What kind of environment would such thing even be useful in? The tongue itself could already without issue capture and eat the largest sea animals (once again making an exception for those mythical creatures who defied explanation), so it wasn't even like it had any real use in acting like one of those fish types that use a light as a lure) meant that it was pretty much officially time for her to leave. She had come here because as a Rising Star she was supposed to help protect Fiore against major threats. Well, she did. And then the threat turned from major to absolutely apocalyptic. This thing could probably destroy the entirety of Fiore simply by stomping about a bit before returning to the seas. Akeya was not a defeatist in any sense of the word, but at some point you had to acknowledge that something was beyond your ability to handle. She couldn't do anything here. Well, that wasn't exactly true. Even as the big creature began to approach her mind, always focused on achieving her objective, had already begun to create at least two plans for taking that down, however that same mind was also very good at calculating the odds of success and knew when to call them too low to bother with. So to rephrase, she couldn't do anything here which had any significant odds of working in the favour of herself or Fiore. More importantly, she didn't have anything which didn't have acceptable odds of her surviving. The Magic Council couldn't blame anybody, not even the Rising Stars and the Wizard Saints, for not dying fruitlessly.

The shadow known as Akeya began to quickly slip through the town of Hargeon (or what remained of it), heading away from the sea as fast as possible. Korikami followed her, also having very good instincts. As long as his master didn't force him nothing could get him to stay here. The half dragon focused on survival now. As a shadow she shouldn't attract any attention and be able to survive pretty much anything thrown at her unless the absolutely humongous sea monster turned out to also possess incredible magic abilities. From what she had seen so far it was solely a brute force monster. The rain had only come after the monster had already been there for a while, and seeing how it had been doing everything with sheer size (even the tsunamis were a result of something huge moving around rather than magic) she doubted the monster had created the rain. Or the land-sharks.

And then she felt a huge amount of magic power gathering in the air, which only made her more inclined to get away as quickly as possible. Of course she was aware of Etherion Cannon, the biggest weapon that the Magic Council possessed and only pulled out if all other means were unavailable or ineffective. The reason for that being that the Etherion Cannon was so powerful that it was incredibly difficult to control. She didn't know how well the Magic Council could use it, but if rumours were anything to go by using the Etherion Cannon basically came down to trying to aim it as precisely as possible on a target location and condemning everything within a radius of several miles to an irrevocable death.

And Akeya didn't feel like being one of those things caught within the blast radius. Being a shadow might protect her against pretty much any physical form of attack, but it didn't do anything against Etherion, which had a tendency to just annihilate everything. She had already been going as fast as she could, which meant that rather than trying to go faster Akeya just tried to keep up her top speed for as long as possible as she moved away from Hargeon, the sea, and that magic power high up in the sky. As far as possible. She didn't know how long it would take for Etherion to be charged fully, but she wasn't going to take any chances. If it was going to fire too early that was simply it, she would be dead. Best she could do was just try her best to get out of range and hope she would make it in time.

"Egahh!" Yuzuki yelled as the arms of Anastasia's suit suddenly reached down, plucked her off the suit legs, and held her in front. The semi-fey was immediately alert, her spear gripped tightly in a shaking fist. However, as a few moments passed without this unknown mage trying to kill her or anything. Yuzuki let herself relax just the tiniest bit, looking around her at all the chaos. She adjusted her senses, her enhanced vision pinpointing mages below, and she could sense the immense magical energy radiating all around her. It was overwhelming, and she desperately wanted to curl up into a ball and get away from it all. Her knuckles whitened even more on the death grip she had on Katsuki, her entire body so tense she felt she would snap right in half if dropped.

And that nearly happened when she heard her "savior" speak for the first time. "Are you alright?" It was nearly comical how much the semi-fey reacted to three rather innocent and kindly-sounding words. If she hadn't been tightly gripped by Anastasia's suit, she probably would have jumped high enough to reach the clouds(something she could probably do if scared enough). She cautiously turned her head to the helmet, looking as if her execution had just been announced. The sound of the roaring monster in the background didn't exactly help, either.

The woman who had let her ride along then turned back down to her, asking if she could still fight. Welllll... Yes, she still could fight, but the semi-fey wasn't about to go back there for any reason whatsoever. She disagreed with Anastasia wholeheartedly and was about to announce it so when the woman looked in another direction, seeming to be looking for someone. Yuzuki scanned the area as well, enhancing her vision carefully again. She noticed a ship coming over from another direction, and was about to say so when a sudden pain gripped her.

The water she was absolutely dripping with dug into her, provoking a sharp gasp and hiss of pain. As it seared its way into her hand, she curled up, forcing herself to wave the pain away. She looked down, noticing a dark blue shark-shaped mark had been left on her hand, and she knew it would scar. She glanced up at Anastasia, yelling, "Do you have this, too?" and lifting her hand to show her.

As she did this, the ship had gotten close enough for claws to snatch them up, and shove them into its belly. Yuzuki would squirm out of Anastasia's grip, a deep scowl on her surprisingly young-looking face. She had noticed all the ocean troops retreating, and she felt it wasn't a good sign. Troops so strong would only retreat if they had done what they had wanted. She tied Yuzuki back to her belt, muttering curses under her breath. She then whirled around to face Anastasia, a wary expression on her face. "I guess I'll just be going, then..." she said carefully, wondering how this person would react.

Change of plans!  A terrifying magical presence could be felt by Anastasia coming from a single direction.  This caused Anastasia to turn and look for a moment, giving the semi-fey enough time to get away from her.  This didn't go unnoticed, however, as Anastasia reached out to go get her, only for her hands to begin burning.  She immediately recoiled from the pain before fear began to cloud her judgment.  The very thought of leaving the Semi-Fey to her own fate was becoming extremely appealing due to the fear clouding her judgment.

"Yes, I feel the same pain.  Now shut up and let's get out of here!" she shouted out before speeding forward towards the Semi-Fey and wrapped her in her arms once more.  Just moments later, the grappler arms of the SS Myrmidon took hold of the two of them.  "This is my ship, so don't be afraid.  Looks like we aren't going to fight that thing anyway.  It looks like someone has other plans," she said before the graspers placed the two of them into the cargo-hold of the ship.

After being freed, Anastasia took the helmet of her armor off, releasing her hair and allowing it to flow freely.  After she removed her helmet, she threw it on the ground, causing it to disappear in a ball of white light.  A smile was given to Yuzuki with a nod.  The other people that were saved by the duo of the gryphon and Nao all collected by her.  "Everyone, you're fine.  We're going to get out of here as soon as possible," she said as sweat started to gather upon her brow, wincing in pain from the mark upon her hand.  This pain is starting to hinder her ability to think straight.

"There is a massive source of magical energy coming this way, so I need everyone to take a seat and brace themselves.  You'll be safe here," she stated before releasing the rest of her armor, showing her true self underneath.  Due to the difference in size between herself and her armor, she fell down another foot slowly and gracefully before planting her feet firmly upon the ship's floor.

"We're going to take you to Magnolia Town for sanctuary," she said before she started to walk off towards the bridge.  "You can come with me if you want, little fairy.  My name is Anastasia," she simply stated as the mob of people had many questions and began to swarm her again.  But before the mob could do anything, she closed the door behind her with enough time for Yuzuki to follow if she desired.

Walking up to the bridge, the rest of her requip weapons began to fade away in a white light.  "What the hell is the problem with these people?  Why do you attack a town only to leave it in a state of disrepair?  No motivation, no real reason!?  Seriously!  These fools perform violence just to be violent.  I despise those kind of people.  And why do they have to always be so damn strong!?" she shouted out in her frustrations before pushing the door open to the bridge.

"George, obtain full control.  Our current heading is for Magnolia Town," she shouted out in an authoritative voice.

"Compliance," responded the artificial intelligence of the ship.

It was then that Anastasia noticed Nao on the floor in pain.  Her eyes widened and she rushed over to her friend.  She sat upon her knees to look over the cause of Nao's problems only to see a mark upon his hand.  She had a similar pain and looked to the back of her hand as well to see a strange mark.  "Must have been that shark guy," she stated before putting one of her hands upon Nao's cheek.

"The pain will subside, Nao.  But you did a very good thing today.  Good job, my friend," she said trying to comfort Nao.  Certainly, she seemed very hostile towards people she liked, but she did actually really care about them equally.  "Don't worry about Magnolia, you won't have to step off of the ship if you don't want to.  It's just the closest town to her so we can get the remaining civilians to sanctuary."

With that, the ship lurched forward, accelerating towards Magnolia Town at top speed.

As soon as Brennan entered the water, a shockwave sent him to the ground, unable to do... well, anything. He struggled to get up underwater, as he was running out of breath, but he couldn't. His body screamed for air, so it breathed in the water, sending Brennan into a coughing fit, resulting in more water being inhaled. It was a furious cycle, but it was interrupted by Fujisame stepping forward and causing the ground to cave in underneath him. Brennan took this oppurtunity and swam towards the surface as fast as his body would allow, and took a deep breath as his head hit the surface. Thank God! He thought to himself, unable to speak. But it wasn't over, not quite yet. Brennan's body was still underwater, so, like everyone else, he was wet. Therefore, Fujisame's Shark Den did to him just what it did to everyone else. The water cut into the back of his right hand, leaving the shape of a blue shark there. Brennan let out a string of curses as the water painfully cut into his body-- it was one of the most painful things he had experienced in his entire life. It was a strange sensation for him, his hands were usually protected from harm due to his metal gloves, but it seemed as though the magical water had forced the gloves to turn back into four golden loops. Brennan eventually ceased his string of cursing and flames exploded from his left hand-- the one that wasn't burning with agony. Struggling to maneuver himself with only one hand, Brennan awkwardly flew towards one of the only buildings that wasn't submerged, throwing himself onto the ceiling as to avoid falling to the ground. He let out a shuddering breath as he hit the cement ceiling, crawling over to the edge to see what had happened to Fujisame. Just as he did this, Brennan heard the shark-man say, "A gift for you all who decided to put up with me today. My time is done, and I suggest you all prepare leave soon also. Things are about to get rather explosive." A gift...? But Brennan didn't have much time to think about this, for soon after he said this Fujisame dispersed into water, and into the ocean... Gone. Just like that.

Brennan let out a frustrated screech and stood up, looking at the blue shark scar. Why was it a gift...? It had been painful to receive. He couldn't think of any way in which it would be useful to him or any of the others. Not wanting to overthink it, Brennan shrugged and snapped his fingers, ordering his Loops to turn back into gloves. Fujisame had something about things getting explosive, so Brennan flew high into the sky, hopefully out of harms way in order to observe what was about to happen. Part of him told him he should flee, but he refused. It was only then that Brennan observed Gargalrax flipping his shit, sending homes flying into the air at what seemed to be light speed. The worst part was that there was nothing he could do, attempting to stop the creature would certainly result in his death. Sighing bitterly, Brennan redirected his flames, heading back to Magnolia Town, utterly defeated.

Then as gralax rose higher.  Apollo stopped looking around then flew up.  It rose into the clouds using his shield magic holding the sword feeling it's power running out.  Apollo could see him getting madder and madder getting ready to attack but then a sheering pain on his let hand as a blue shark appeared on it.  The water was carving into him somehow leaving a rather large mark on his hand.  It burned so bad  as he wrench his arm in the sudden pain.  He then looked at it closely no doubt the ring leaders effect was he still here.  Apollo didn't know but he could sense a rather large amount of magical power gathering in the air.  Apollo's eye's widen a little were they going to fire the..no they can't"  he muttered as he knew what was coming.  the magic counsel had a weapon know as the Etherion Cannon which was a power magical cannon that whatever it hits it and the surrounding area around it was sure to die.  Apollo had no choice at this point.  Between the mysterious mark on his had and the Gigantic magical cannon that would surly kill him he had no other options but to flee..  Using the last of the swords energy he started on his way home back to Magnolia.   He hated this the sounds of destruction and buildings breaking behind him sacred him and mad him beyond mad at himself that he couldn't do anything. As he looked back seeing house's and buildings flying everywhere peoples homes were destroyed.  He became a shield mage to protect the people around him but right now he couldn't all he could do is watch the destruction and chaos as he left making sure the people he did save were safe.  As he got to a safe distance he realized the sword returning it and went back his head low thinking how much he failed as a wizard was he even worthy of going home time will tell as he goes back to Magnolia praying that at the vary least his Guild mates will make it back alive it was a sad day for him but worse was about to follow in the future.

Yuzuki frowned. She couldn't see any obvious legal guild mark on the woman, so it wouldn't appear as if she had any reason to help her, besides maybe just wanting to do good. These were the type of people Yuzuki usually either hated, laughed at, or was simply confused by. Having lived her life solely for the purpose of helping herself, those types of people were complete mysteries to her. Still, legal mages had helped her out in pinches many a time, though she never did end up paying them back, of course, so she figured she had few choices but to follow this Anastasia around.

She hissed in pain as her hand throbbed again, searing into her skin. What was this stupid ocean-related curse? Sirens were annoying enough, but ocean magic like this? She promptly decided that whoever had invented such a stupidly painful spell should be sliced into pieces and fed to something gross. Though she was surprisingly old, Yuzuki still thought like a little kid at times. Still, having been through all types of burning, searing pain before, she was glad for the experience now. She wasn't passing out like some people they passed, nor was she in too much pain to function properly.

After Anastasia had explained things, Yuzuki sighed, and settled in for the ride. She'd gotten lucky again, finding a do-gooder mage here in the middle of a disaster. She would go through her few belongings carefully, knowing full well that the bits of food she had left in that Hargeon Town alleyway wouldn't ever be salvaged again. Great big whoop. All her belongings were gone besides a few stray coins, her clothes, and Katsuki.

After reaching Magnolia, Yuzuki immediately slipped off, running away before anyone else knew she was gone. This was simply the way she did things, and why she wasn't ever caught. Once more, the cowardly semi-fey was considerably safe again, with a painful reminder of the adventure. She gazed down on the mark wryly, a forced grin on her face. Yet another mystical mark to join the one she already had. She most certainly wasn't about to return to Hargeon soon, anyways.

OOC: I'm done, and keeping the mark))

Post by Gargalrax 22nd April 2016, 3:02 am

Gargalrax froze up, feeling something moving around inside his body, something tearing its way through. Blood flew from his mouth, covering a massive chunk of the city as his tentacles ceased wreaking havoc and tensed up. He felt something tear at his skull before making its way out into the open. Regardless of how far away the man got, Gargalrax was far from finished, and far from being defeated by meager attacks. Having a second pair of all organs, as well as a multi layer brain had made it so simply destroying his organs wouldn't be enough to put an end to it, though he couldn't shake the feeling that a portion of him was taken. "You think you're a god!? DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH MORTAL!"

A bright blue light shone, pooling inside the mouth of Gargalrax as the weight of the magic power he began using caused the air to grow heavy. The light shining through the clouds, filtering through the rain grew brighter, splitting off and forming rainbows across the field as all was getting ready to be said and done. "TASTE THE POWER OF A REAL G-" a blast of magic power slammed down on Gargalrax, slamming straight through his crown and shooting all the way down through his body. The magic power he'd welled up in his mouth released all at once, causing a magical explosion that would serve to further the damage dealt to him. The unrequited power of the Etherion Cannon slamming into the ground kicked up brine and debris from the ocean floor below. Bits of long destroyed ships, sand, molten glass and steam all shot out from the wealth of tentacles surrounding Gargalrax's legs and continued forth in a massive shockwave. All sound had ceased, not a sound was heard for a matter of moments as the dust began to settle.

The dust settled, revealing the massive beast falling slowly. Buildings seemed to explode in a massive cloud of dust, death, and blood as Gargalrax hit the floor with an enormous hole blown straight through him. The beating the self proclaimed god has given his insides has made it soft, causing the creature to reroute so much energy to repairing his damaged organs and firing a blast at the false god whom exited him that he was unable to use magic to shave some of the damage from the attack. This, combined with arrogance, and the destruction of a vast portion of Hargeon would be the legacy of Gargalrax...

Much of Hargeon was left in shambles, enormous, elongated craters scarred the city. Toppled buildings, corpses, crying mothers, fathers, children littering the streets and crevices under insurmountable piles of debris. Fires raging throughout the city, the downpour serving only to contain the flames but doing little to stop them, though with time the wood which was burning would eventually become too wet to burn. The scars left on the city itself would be capable of being repaired, the scars left on the heart of her people however would never heal...
