The Shocking Reveal... and Lunch?||Private||Daemon||Kanix||Heero

Daemon had wondered off to the bar, looking for someone named Heero. The woman, who he had come to see,  was less than enthusiastic about the man showing up out of no where. Kanix walked over to him, questioning him, wondering why he came to Fairy Tail in the First place. According to the Beautiful Black haired woman, what had happened between the two was a mistake. Mistake? Jaeger didnt see their moment of passion as a mistake, it was rather quite wonderful to him. Was that it? Perhaps Jaeger was bad for her. Maybe she was cranky because he was so bad with his passion that the woman wanted absolutely nothing to do with him now. The wizard didn't peg her for that sort of person, but it would explain why he was left alone in his hotel room when he a woke.

”Well... I'm here to see you, Of course. You uh... Kind of just ran out on me after, you know.”

The mage replied and looked the woman over, something was a little off about her. His eyes scanned her over, searching for clues as to why she was really upset. Her hand was resting on a slight bulge that had taken over her stomach region. She moved her head to her staff and asked him to please leave. How could he? Jaeger had only arrived! Plus, he didnt want to.

”Why is it a mistake....”

The man was in the middle of asking when another Fairy Tail member had come up to them and injected himself into the conversation. Kanix, however, was looking up to this man with eyes pleading for help. Of course, Jaeger was being a bit oblivious to the situation that he was now finding himself in, though it did seem like this fellow knew more about what was going on than Jaeger did. After trying to calm the short conversation down with his own words, he invited him, Daemon, and the woman out to eat. The man hopped onto his pets back, laying in the comfortable floof of Navas Fur. As the Giant Red panda followed the Leader of Fairy Tail, one thing echoed in the Great Trees Mind ”This is the guy right?” What could he mean by that.

Soon enough,  the group had reached a rather decent sized restaurant that had a copious amount of booth seating. Staff inside the place of business wouldn't allow the red panda in, So Jaeger petted the critters head and left the giant beast to wait outside. Nava curled up somewhere off to the side and out of the way, awaiting his owners return. The man followed the group in and sat down at the last seat remaining, next to the guy with Sea Foam Green hair. The four people ordered drinks and sat in somewhat silence until they came. The tree mage ordered a light alcoholic drink, nothing too hard or that would cause any sort of buzz after one glass. The brunette man raised his glass as the Male Fairy went up for a toast of sorts.

”To my so.... w-what..”

Jaeger was ready to toast but was given a rather... surprising piece of information. Was that was what wrong? Was Kanix Pregnant? That explains a lot, actually. The bump in her gut, the reason why their encounter was a mistake. From the sudden surprise, he began coughing and choking on the air he was breathing at the time. This was not something that he expected to hear, him having a son. After he was done with his little fit, he peered over to Kanix and kept his eyes on her as the other man spoke. His life was changing, in a very unpredictable way.

”Aye..”

The man replied, agreeing with the statements that Heero had made, though he didn't know who this Zeref was. Magic was a responsibility and it was his and Kanixs duty to raise and teach their child properly. Despite sharing the same view points as the Fairy Tail Guild Master, he was panicking and trying his best not to show it on his face with a smile. It wasn't like Jaeger was to run from this challenge, escape the responsibility of raising a child, however it was just that major of a change to cause the laid back mage to emotionally get worried and go crazy on the inside.

Mood: Hiding Panic

Find the news out was big, LIFE CHANGING BIG. A child, a life made from two people, a life the depends on two parents for support and love. Jaeger, growing up with out his own set of caretakers like that, he knew the feeling of growing up alone. However, Kanix was defiantly more broken up over having a child than anyone at the table. Having the baby scared her, made her think he would run off and leave her behind. Truth be told, if this had been another woman and perhaps a slightly different situation, the brunette man just might have run away. He could simply disappear into a forest, quite literally.

Kanix's life had been going by so quickly from one event happening after another. Joining Fairy Tail was probably the best thing she had ever done. Now, a handsome devil comes along and ruins it all. How dare he! Jaeger was feeling pretty low about himself. She didn't mean for him to feel bad, she didn't mean to blame him, its just that things are spiraling out of control for the blind woman. Not only that, but she was also feeling... distraught over the fact that she'll never get to see her child. That was the kicker, that was the last thing in the nads for the mage.

Heero mentioned buying a family home in Magnolia, one for Kanix and Jaeger to raise their child in. The guildmaster was into the idea of the child than both of the parents were.  However, he did lay out one important point, Kanix shouldn't be traveling and that moving around too much after the baby is born would probably be bad as well. The only viable option would before Jaeger to settle down in Magnolia. It was a fair point however, it also comes with his own changes. He's have to man up and try not to be the sucker for a pretty smile, The man would have to get used to some real responsibility, no more bachelor life for him.

Their food came shortly after, the sleeping forest mage had ordered a bacon cheese burger, mashed potatoes with garlic butter, and some mixed vegetables on the side, a rather large bowl. The whole situation, it just made him hungry. His and Kanixs emotions were high and the tension was just making the mage feel like filling that void with food. The burger he ordered? It came out perfectly. The meat was well-done, no pink or blood in sight. There was several layers of bacon, scattered through out the whole master piece. The sauce? It was to DIE for. It was sweet and tangy, but it had a hint of spice to kick up the heat of the meal. The mashed potatoes were fluffy, and had bits of garlic and solid potato blended in. The butter though, much like the burgers sauce was fabulous. The Mixed Vegetables? Nothing extraordinary, but they were tasty.

After heero began eating his steak, he asked about everyone elses thoughts.

”Defiantly, Kanix should stay here in Magnolia, with Fairy Tail.”

He replied, then taking a bight of the Angelic mashed potatoes. When he finished, his eyes moused over to Kanixs.

”As for me... I never had my parents around. Had some pretty great substitutes, but it wasn't the same. I'll... Kanix, I will be around, though, I'll still be representing Sleeping Forest for now. I'm not gonna let you go through it alone.

…

By the way... this food is A...mazing. Its so good.”

He added on and caught one of the waitresses and ordered the largest salad to be sent out to Nava, his pet. They gripped and grumbled, but Jaeger gave them a few extra jewels to make it happen. It'd be rude to leave the furry guy out of all this. However, no mater how good the serive and food was, there was still the feeling of panic and depression in him. His life was changing and he was going to have to find a way to make it all work.

Kanix wasn’t being insulting or anything, she was stressed and anxious over the child growing in her stomach. It was understandable and the man wasn’t doubting himself over her, he would doubt himself over the fact all he has to use for parenting reference would be the Monks of his Temple. They had many children there, learning from them, the monks didn’t have time for being Parents. These men were teachers, not parents. As well, Heero seems to have lost his parents as well, they were all in the same, parentless, boat.

Daemon also brought up stationing Jaeger in Magnolia for something. Members of their guild have been going missing and Jaeger was to be trusted to take up the torch. Something was going on and now he will be figuring it out. This also gave him the chance to stay here and be closer to the beautiful woman he had knocked up while on vacation, support her through the harsh time of pregnancy and eventually meet his child. She needed him and after having a few months to stir about this woman, he would want to be there, be her rock and anchor her to the ground.

The man moved his hand over to grab the woman's lovely hand to help reassure her, what better time to being the foundation than now, huh?

”Kanix, you’re worrying too much, I told you I would be around for you.”

He replied and looked over to Daemon and waited for his and Heeros agreement on a temporary alliance to finalize.

”I Accept the Assignment.”

Jaeger answered to the assignment about being stationed in Magnolia. His thumb stroked over Kanixs hand lightly. After that, the group finished their food, which was probably the best he had ever had, and heero would take them off to a Realtor that he knew. The two guild masters left the restaurant first, leaving kanix and jaeger to follow behind. Nava stood up as they had exited. Jaeger patted his head and looked over to kanix and offered her a ride on navas back. If she would accept, the man would help her up to the animal’s back and would hop on behind her. The brunette mage would wrap his arms around her to help Kanix stay on and the three would follow Heero and Daemon. If the woman decided against it, He would walk next to her with his arm around her shoulders with nava following.

Eventually, the group made it to the Realtors office and walked in. The guy Heero spoke of made some funny comments about Heero and a bachelor pad. It would seem that Heero is quite the playboy around Magnolia, further proving this was his flirtatious nature with the receptionist. The lead man, however, took him and kanix back to the back to work out the details of the sale and to show them the houses for sale. Of course, Jaeger would be the only picking due to Kanix’s blindness, So he would have to pick something she would like as well. From the conversations and the way she dresses, she liked nature and being an open space.

The man searched and looked through the details and pictures, a lot of the houses were nice and looked well-built. While everything was nice, here was one, further out from the center of the city, and was near the East Forest. The house had a very open floor plan, large windows in the back to see the yard and forest behind that. Perfect. Kanix can live closer to the wilderness and they’d have a home for the child.

”This one…This one for sure.”

The man said to the realtor and tried to describe it to the woman the best he could as they would be led back to do signatures and talk to the rest of the group about the house.
