A child and her mother. (Intro, Open!)

An cloth covered arm slid across a slightly dampened forehead, brushing few wet, red bangs along with it only to have them lay back to the former place they sat prior to it. She'd pop open a water bottle and take a bit of a drink and slipping it back into her coat pocket after reclosing it to keep it from getting too warm or evaporating quicker. The child had been traveling on foot, feet kicking around dirt and even tracking some into her feet as she had worked her way through the EZbake Oven of a wasteland. The tedious fact she could have just taken some form of a ride to her destination would have been one much simpler, but the two mistakes in that were of this particular girl being so young, and secondly being her own forethoughts towards the worst of a situation should she charter a ride into the desert from a strange adult. Obviously, the reason of her trudging being of the former option, she wasn't inclined to try and work around any other ideas and just go with it.

The idea of using her magic and rush herself would save herself some time, but to tire herself out in the middle of a baron wasteland would be a move only a barbaric moron would choose to do. Amber orbs trailed over a map she held out wide, using some mapping skills she had picked up in some books to trail out her path to this destination was only the beginning of the hard part. With the way the sun had beat down, it was a good thing her coat had a hood to it so she could mask some from her face and keep herself from getting any nasty burns, while the she left the rest unzipped to the white sundress she wore. She paused in her footsteps for a moment as she heard a sound aside from the shifting sands beneath her feet and the crinckling paper. With one hand moved to act as a visor from the suns glare, she would look around her to make sure that she wasn't just hearing things. Why she chose to do the next was merely something careful with their surroundings would do, or simply on a whim as well would come up with.

Her eyes narrowed as a black blob like object had been flying through the air. She took a moment to keep starring to make sure that she wasn't really seeing things due to starring at one thing for such a long time at one time before she had changed the lighting and scene before her vision. Often times that could obscure ones view and first impressions on it, but she would wait in place and followed it with her eyes. Looking down, she picked up her map and looked to it, then to the flying object before she'd realize that she was watching something headed towards the same place she was, generally at least. Her amber eyes would glow a bright red and she'd take off as fast as she could, rushing after the object and continuing her same path, wondering if her suspicions had been correct in her planning the idea that she was having some form of a guide to the destination she was looking to reach.

As a speed-based adrenaline junky, Madi started to get a little more giddy and happy the more she ran. However that would actually work was beside the point, but she would regardless find herself nearing a large temple before she knew it. Quickly, she would on the breaks and trying to come to a stop before she could hit them or the temple, but having to stop on on sand rather than concrete was a whole other ball game for her. In her attempt to stop, she would bury her feet into the sand, falling down into the sand face first with a yelp. Quickly pushing herself up from the hot sand, she would spit out the bit in and around her mouth and coughing as she got up enough to grab her water and take a sip, then working to begin to brush the sand off of her person. It took her a moment before realizing a child and couple stood before her, probably here for the same reason she was there and chuckling. "Why hello there~ Don't mind me, just sliding through." She'd chuckle, rubbing the back of her head as she pushed her hood down to show her scarlet red hair, tied into twintails as red glowing eyes would dim to their natural amber shade.
