Festival of the Fairies [Guild Event] [Open to All]

The fireworks in the sky exploded in their own rapturous chorus as the stars twinkled on in their perch in the sky. If someone was looking, they would notice just how bright and brilliant they looked as they blazed millions of lightyears away. It was almost like the heavens' themselves were also rejoicing on this splendid night. Lights blared across the sky, only accentuating the sheer beauty of the scene around them. All of Magnolia was alight in merriment as the festivities only seemed to be beginning. To the south, in the mountains, the music echoed faintly. It was a strangely bewitching effect to hear the party music reduced to soft yet powerful beats.

As the sound bounced through the mountain range, clouds - dark and deep - seemed to roll through the air towards the joy of Magnolia. Leading it's charge was a singular figure. A woman with hair so white, it shone in the starlight. The woman's electric blue eyes gazed solemnly ahead. She didn't want to look back. She knew the clouds were following her. Her dark, ominous past followed her like a shadow. Now it was so bad that the clouds themselves no longer heeded her call. They only pursued her like the rolling hunters they were. The woman waved her hand around and her mid-air flight came to a halt. She hovered high in the sky as her hair billowed gently about her with her soft feathered cloak. Those same electric-blue eyes stared down at the city of Magnolia in all of its glory. It was jammed to the rafters with people from all over Earthland. She could feel the magic radiating outwards from the place like an oven. So much power... So much grandeur...

"Heero..."

She whispered his name but it seemed to anger the clouds behind her. They broiled against her, causing streaks of lightning to crackle in the distance. The white-haired woman perched motionlessly in the sky as she stared down at the merriment below.

How?

How could he do this? She's lost everything and he was down there partying? He had to have known. There was no way he didn't know about the suffering she'd endured. And yet...

Lightning cracked again but escaped the clouds. A wall of electricity pounded the ground below, cratering the earth and lighting up the mountain range about as much as Magnolia was now.

He'd said nothing to her. She hadn't heard a thing from him. Could he be so callous? They were the last family each other had and he chose to ignore her? Her blue eyes suddenly shrunk to the size of pindrops. H-Had...he...forgotten about her? The woman doubled over in pain. He couldn't have... He was all she possibly had left... Violent winds rushed up from behind her and ripped down the mountain side - washing Magnolia with a starkly cold and sobering wind. "No...please..." She could feel it now. The storm she's kept at bay for so long. It was here now and there was nothing she could do to stop it. White magical power leaked from the woman's body and reached up into the heavens, causing the sky to ripple like water. It was coming now. The hurricane of her emotions was finally breaking forth and everything in its path was about to be wiped from the face of Earthland.

Boom!

The woman looked up as the Fairy Tail Guild symbol lit up the air below her. Blue Pegasus followed along with Lamia Scale. She realized what was happening now. They were popping off fireworks for all the legal guilds. There were only going to be two more than. Sabertooth.

Boom!

And lastly, Infinity Hydra.

Her blue eyes glinted red as their symbol blossomed to life in grand style.

It was the final nail in the coffin. Not only had her brother forgotten about her and her guild, but the entirety of Fiore did as well. She turned away and looked up at the clouds. She opened her arms as she stared blankly at the clouds. "Take me now... I don't want to feel anymo-"

KAAAAAAABOOOOOM!!

She could feel the difference in air pressure from there as a single, gigantic firework went off, It was the symbol of Eclipse Soul, the fallen legal guild, blazing a hole into the sky. The woman's body seemed to go numb for a moment as the purple light of Eclipse Soul washed over her senses one last time. A tribute to the guild of redemption.

...From her brother.

The woman stood up straight on her perch in the clouds. She took a deep breath and her magic power seemed to steady dramatically. She turned back towards the sky and gave it a seething look. "I WILL NOT BE BEATEN! SCATTER, INTREPID STORM!" Her magic reached up to the atmosphere and gripped the weather with all it's might. She'd had enough of this. She would run from her past no longer. It was time for her to face it head on and accept it.

Once the skies settled, the woman turned back towards Magnolia and she took a deep breath before she disappeared in a burst of wind. Heero's name wafted on the air again as a more gentle breeze washed over the festival. Hopefully he wouldn't be too busy for a visitor.

Parties. Not necessarily the Fire King's cup of tea, but he enjoyed having a good time. Sayrn would prefer to stay in her lab, and it was certainly too adult for Malva, so he came alone. His phoenix companion was sure to be off somewhere, but she was far too elegant for this kind of party. It was more likely that she was sitting down getting drunk while making some poor guy buy her everything she wanted. He sure loved that phoenix. As for the guild master, he was sitting at the bar. Unfortunately being alone was quite impossible, in fact he had drawn quite the bit of a crowd. Taking a deep breath, it was now quite evident what he was doing. As the fireworks blasted high into the sky, he gave the Infinity Hydra symbol a casual salute. Ready ladies and gentlemen? Exhaling deeply, a line of ten shots sat in front of him. They were all filled with strong liquor, and he had been bet to drink them. Unfortunately for the mages and civilians surrounding him, he had quite the stomach. Being made of fire had it's perks, and this was one of them. Cheering and screaming, he waited until the final firework had gone off. Then, he proceeded to take each shot. With lightning speed, he tilted his head back to almost absorb the shot. Finishing all ten shots, they disintegrated within his stomach. Whooo! The people surrounding him screamed and cheered, surprised that he had downed them so quickly. He did not need the money that had been bet, but it was a good bit of fun. 

Stepping back from the bar, he looked into the crowd of people. They were dancing and having fun. Heero certainly had pulled out everything he had in this party. It was probably the largest one in the past decade. And to think it would go from all of this fun to something more serious in a matter of days, when the guild master's meeting occurred. The fire mage figured he might as well enjoy himself for the time being, and as such he formed an open circle within the horde of dancers. Rubbing his hands together, he cracked his knuckles creating several popping sounds. Then he created a flame in each hand, then began to spin around. Spiraling the flames around his body, he performed several flaming flips and tricks to entertain the crowd. Rolling and spinning, he caught some airtime before landing back down in flames. The crowd seemed to enjoy it, cheering and tosses alcohol to increase the flames. Looking up to the sky, he let out a massive bellow of black flames. Then using his lineage, he formed a massive Infinity Hydra symbol in the air. Holding it there for a few moments, he would turn it into a Fairy Tail symbol. Lastly, he would turn it into a giant dragon of black flame. Controlling it with his pyrokinesis, the king of fire had the massive black dragon fly above the crowd before dissipating. He had shown them what he had, before falling back into the sea of people.
