The weather today was phenomenal; clear skies with perhaps the brightest sunshine Magnus had ever seen. His eyes stared at the sea of blue above him as his thoughts seemed to swim around it gleefully. It had been a few days now since he had arrived in the town of Magnolia and, while it was certainly busier than what he was used to, the town itself seemed incredibly welcoming to him. In fact, with the exception of that group of louts he'd met on his first day here, the Chaotic Body wizard had yet to find a single person who pissed him off or, perhaps more surprisingly, hadn't been pissed off at him. He knew he was probably different to a lot of the townsfolk. He'd grown up in a tribal village afterall and their idea of 'public behaviour' was more than a little different from what was expected in most towns and cities in Fiore. But perhaps this was down to that place he'd been to before?
Magnus had heard several stories about a 'guild' called Fairy Tail that had made residence in this town. He'd learned that they were a group of magic users not unlike himself who had banded together and worked together to perform 'jobs', be it for money or for glory. He'd heard that they'd protected (and also half-destroyed) the town numerous times. And then he'd been shown their guild symbol and he recognised it immediately as the crest that was emblazoned on the first building he'd entered in Magnolia; the place he'd been given directions by for the restaurant that he'd had just about the best steak he'd ever tasted. Come to think of it, he'd not thanked that guy for it. His hunger had overtaken him as soon as 'steak' was mentioned. He'd been meaning to go back for a couple of days now but, upon hearing the stories of the guild, he'd hesitated a little. He couldn't keep travelling like he was, that much was clear. He needed money for starters and people weren't particularly open to giving him any work in regular places. But would they accept him as he was?
Magnus looked away from the sky and finally looked in front of him...and jumped in shock. He was already stood outside the guild?! How long have I been stood here?! Come to think of it, when did I start walking?! The last thing he remembered before his thoughts took over was stepping out onto the streets from the local inn after paying for his night's stay. A sigh left his lips before they curled into a confident smile. "Keh, I guess my choice is made for me. Fairy Tail, here I come." He spoke aloud before walking to the double doors and pushing them open. Except he pushed them a little too hard and they slammed against the walls on either side, making his entrance far louder than he'd intended it to be, not that he took all that much attention to the loud banging. "I have returned! Where is the blue-haired little guy?!"
