Rae let a small sigh escape her lips yet again. Kite wanted to dig far into these thugs' plans but in her opinion whatever information they had didn't really matter to them. As long as they got rid of them they were done with their work. That's all they were payed to do. Their base's location wasn't in her interest as she personally believed that they had already started evacuating out of Hargeon. As Kite got a glass of cold water which he intended to use on the knocked out enemy, the Duchess rubbed her temples in annoyance at his stubbornness. " I prefer to usually just sneak out or outrun them to the train station. Getting rid of them would be good, but t would harm my reputation." The crimson eyed female explained as she crossed her arms over her chest and looked at Kite. A sound of splashing water signaled the beginning of the questioning and her partner was quite scary from the very beginning.
As he singed the thug's shoulder, the noble raised an eyebrow at his actions and pushed herself off of the wall she was leaning on. Walking over to the pair of males she crouched down in front of the enemy and stared into his eyes. She was not a fan of questioning people however she wanted to prove a point to Kite that there wasn't any reason for them to chase. "Your men, they're evacuating now?" She asked softly, removing the usual coldness from her voice as she spoke. Her crimson hues never left the petty thugs as she waited for his response. "Our boss has probably already escaped." He said, causing a small smile to appear upon her glossy lips. "Do you happen to know where he went?" At this question the thug shook his head, his cheeks went slightly pink as he kept on talking to the red-haired Duchess. "How unfortunate..." Rae muttered, her eyes turning to slits before she punched the man, knocking him out again. The cold knot in her voice had returned again as she stood up and looked over at Kite, her usual cold voice returning. As a noble it was easy for her to fake emotions in order to make other people like her, it was simply her way of living. "I believe my questioning methods are more successful." The Devil boasted, a small bemused smirk finding itself onto her lips as she leaned against the wall.
